The Westin Cozumel: Amazing resort

Grounds are little limited with no palapas but well maintened. Rooms with stunning view were well maintened, public areas clean, food and drinks were great. Staff and service were outstanding. Will be likely back at some point.

Allegro Playacar: wow - a really nice resort with so much potential, but what happened?

great layout everything close by amazing beach close to town food was average but filling and tasty - still put on some pounds while there ( stay with the buffets) - Asian food very disappointing. alcoholic beverages flowing but the quality of alcohol left wanting- perfect place for adults, or families or friends - we had a blast the people phenomenal - could smile even when they knew we were not satisfied BUT: Maintenance of property - the infrastructure must be aging - externall [... read more]y beautiful, no complaints of the landscaping, grounds, beaches, pool areas etc, updated rooms, but the mechanics - no A/C for many of us until a few days in (worked really well then), hot water and water pressure issues and the women's bathroom in the front lobby should be the biggest embarrassment to the hotel - did not work when we arrivedand did not work when we left. PLEASE, Allegro, make us all proud and get these things fixed (even if it is just the washroom) because otherwise it is the perfect hotel. spoiler alert: no matter what, the trip was loved by all..........................

Riu Emerald Bay: It was great, but maybe a little over-rated

Hotel was good, but the room we stayed in is ready for an update. Things were showing their age. Staff was really nice and attentive. But when we signed up for 5*, we expected a higher level. Room - Very clean with a great view, but old deco. Crack across the top of the toilet. All the rails and shelves in the shower/tub were partially pulled out of the wall. There used to be a TV on the wall, but now it's just the hanging rack with an old TV on the dresser. The outlets were so overused  [... read more]that our plugs wouldn't stay in the wall (dropped out). There was no hotel infotainment system on the TV - just TV stations in Spanish. One of our biggest complaints has to be that there were no actual a la carte restaurants. The 3 "restaurant" options had buffets. The food wasn't bad, but you couldn't order. Also, there were no activities for kids that are a little older (young to middle aged Teens). Kid's club looked great, but it was focused on very young kids. Pool table in the Sports bar was totally wrecked, and we had to pay to use it. AND it was missing 2 balls!! That was disappointing...

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Fun place!

Great hotel, amazing food and lots of kids activities! Service is very friendly! Great night shows especially Disney show! Beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, delicious drinks for kids too and fun waves! No restrictions due to Covid!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Beautiful resort!

The property is spacious and spectacular. Excellent walkways and boardwalks, all well maintained. Shuttles appeared regularly and seemed to be quick - we only used it once during our walk to dinner as it started raining heavily. We love to walk and enjoyed every minute of that. The pools were fresh and super clean. The poolside food trucks delivered delicious Mexican foods all afternoon. The main pool was quite busy but it always seemed there were a few vacant lounges. It was too loud for us [... read more] so we enjoyed the Golden pool - lazy river pool - where the music was quiet jazz. Delicious drinks and food from the golden bar. Prompt friendly service everywhere. Beautiful sand on the beach, but either end of the resort was rocky. Beach walking seemed to go on well down the beach but we didn’t need to venture far. All restaurants provide excellent food, all bars provide excellent drinks - just ask for higher end alcohol or they will default to the cheap stuff. Used room service twice for breakfast - timely but the coffee is dicey. Even the Sisal coffee shop didn’t impress, but the do have a huge assortment of choices. The silver king room was fresh and nicely cleaned everyday - always a slight Caribbean musty smell even though recently renovated. Beautiful big balcony in building 2, but we faced into the resort. Green and jungly view, but the afternoon music from the main pool was offensive enough that we didn’t enjoy sitting out, so we kept to the golden pool or the beach. This resort is an easy half hour direct from the airport. The air transat shuttle was the only downside as we arrived at the shuttle location at 9:15 but between waiting for the shuttle and dropping others off first, we didn’t check in at our hotel til 11:15. All dining tables were well spaced, entrance signs at all restaurants warned to keep space between people, and some of the staff wore masks. All buildings are very open air and it was breezy so we were not concerned about covidguildines.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: A fabulous getaway to the Mayan Riviera!

This smaller resort offers a more intimate option for a relaxing beach holiday. Stunning beaches, comfortable accommodation, tasty Mexican food and amazing staff are some of the highlights. For nature lovers, the mangroves and tropical plant life on site provide homes for an abundance of birds, geckos, iguanas, agoutis, and coatis (Mexican racoons). Snorkelers will find many opportunities to explore the ocean life.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: A real "Grand Resort"

There are many different and diverse facilities to enjoy in this Resort. We have stayed in this resort on four different occasions and had fun each time, and each time we were traveling with different friends and they also loved the place. We like the buffet and the coffee shop but didn't really enjoy the restaurants very much. Unlike every other time, this time, our room was smelling mold. we reported the problem, and they just tried to kill the smell by more cleaning. The room was clean e [... read more]nough already, and the smell did not go away with more cleaning... we wanted to be moved to a different room, but over request was turned down and we were really disappointed. The staff are friendly and mostly helpful.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Snorkelling

The main reason we stay here is the snorkelling. The food was very disappointing. Rooms need to be updated but were clean. Staff is great. Shows were something to be desired. Unfortunately the coral in in bad shape.

Pierre Mundo Imperial: Not happy with the stay.

The rooms were dirty, service was slow and they double charged us for coconut water. This was my third time here and I will not be back. Try to get a coffee before 7 am…good luck with that! I was treated as if I was in the way.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Iberostar Paraiso Beach

We returned from the resort on Sunday and discounting the fact that I got very sick early on the second day of our visit, I would say we had a good time. I mentioned "Montezuma's Revenge" to Nicole and surprisingly, she hadn't heard that expression. In any case, I'm sure it was the salad I had for lunch the first day. It's quite large but you can get around [... read more] easily; great for walking but there are also shuttle buses if needed. It's lush with beautiful vegetation and as a nice surprise, beautiful peacocks strut their stuff around the grounds. The area is like a small village with the 4 resorts. We were in Paraiso Beach. Our room was good.. not luxurious but very clean and comfortable. I can't really comment on the food as I was unable to eat too much, but according to my husband, everything was very good. Fantastic swimming pools and beach. Evening entertainment should be improved in the lobby as well as the theatre, also, the kind of music played by the pool should be reviewed. We found the Rap and HipHop to be very loud, annoying and inappropriate especially with children around. The animation team was great..keeping everyone busy and entertained. We look forward to returning next year.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Loved the Resort

Found the pool area and beach to be clean and there were areas for shade if needed. All restaurants had good food and all staff were very pleasant. Wait times to get a drink from the wait staff by the pool & beach were overall reasonable from my expectations. Guy's Burger was quick and good food the day we went. The lazy river was a blast, only issue is the shortage of tubes.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Great place!

Well kept grounds. A lot of walking. Lots of room. Did not feel over crowded. Very safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean….well organized. Nightly entertainment was fun. Drinks were plentiful.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great Resort

We booked this resort for two weeks Jan 21/23 to Feb.4th and after the first three days of having to call each day because they didn’t leave us any water coffee or beer and then the fourth day of not being offered any water or coffee at breakfast we figured we had made a big mistake in booking this resort however after going to guest services and explaining our concerns everything was taken care of. This resort does actually care and goes above and beyond to make you stay enjoyable.  [... read more] The food is excellent my favourite is the Asian (the Bamboo) and the Sake Steak. The staff are super friendly and accommodating our favourites were the waitresses at the main pool and the sports bar. Oh speaking of the sports bar the chicken taco salad is both delicious and filling only problem could get hockey games (didn’t upset my wife). A very special Thank You to Salvador Moran it is because of you our memories of the Grand Palladium Vallarta will forever be one of our favourite vacations and the reason we will be returning next year again thank you. The Sens Riviera: Will return!!

We travelled with another couple and we all loved the food, drinks, facility, staff and want to return, the only thing we didn’t like was the time it took to get there on the bus but it was worth it!

El Cozumeleno Beach: It was an okay resort

The grounds were okay. Lot of rocks to climb over in ocean. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was repetitious and very limited choices. Extremely little entertainment. Difficult to obtain chairs or pulapos due to towels dropped on them early in the morning!

Playa Azul: Perfect resort for a quiet, relaxing stay!

We loved this smaller hotel in the north end of Cozumel. It was quiet even with a beach club on either side. Hotel lobby is beautiful and has a little library area if you want to borrow a book. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and have a Mexican charm. The bed is very comfortable! Air conditioning worked great and always had hot water in shower. The buffet breakfast included always had a great selection of hot and cold options. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly as were st [... read more]aff anywhere in the hotel. We loved being right at the water and we were able to walk a distance each way along the beach. We would definitely come back to Playa Azul!

Allegro Playacar: Honest Review

The front desk staff was horrible. They gave me a room that was already occupied and then gave me a downgrade on the room I had purchased, and lied about it. No hot water and one day no water at all. The food was good and the entertainment staff was excellent. Place needs some serious attention.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great resort

This is the 3rd time we've come to the Valentin, we really like this resort. Grounds are well kept, and it's great they are adding new things, last time we were here was in 2018, the coffee house and the food trucks are new since then, they are a great add, The internet was a bit spotty, one of our friends kept loosing connection throughout the day, which is an issue since you need to access it for our phones for the restaurant menus. Food was excellent as always, but it would be nice i [... read more]f we could make reservations, instead of walk in. Grounds and rooms were very clean, and well kept. There was maid service through the day where the room was restocked and during turndown at night, the room was straighten up and towels were replenished. All staff, front desk, restaurant, bar, pool service were very polite and courteous, could not ask for more!

Riu Santa Fe: Great Resort for All Ages

Large, well organized resort but suprisingly easy to walk. Great kids waterpark and kids entertainment programs. Adult waterpark is a bonus. Never a problem getting seats at mainpool, beach pools or ocean. Food venues gladly accomodated our large griup varying 8-14 persitting. Numerous bars and quick food outlets spread throughout the resort. Hint, if with young kids, avoid buildings 8 & 9 located in Party Zone.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing resort

If you like fantastic views, great service, friendly people this resort is for you. Dancing at the pool, whale watching great weather you couldn't ask for more. The specialty restaurants were the best. Shout out to Salvadore. You have to try the Bamboo. Would highly recommend.
