Riu Ocho Rios: My riu vacation!!

The resort was big and beautiful and it had so much to do and so spacious!! The beach was amazing clean clear and beautiful!! The rooms were very nice and clean the deck had a beautiful garden view!! The staff could have been much more friendly but for the most part the resort was great!!

Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome Vacation and Wedding

The resort was beautiful, friendly and a great spot to host a wedding. Details were all taken care of profesionally and timely. Only a couple of things that I didn't like ...the pool was not all that clean and the mosquitos were plentiful. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with great service and wonderful location.

Riu Ocho Rios: Excellent resort.

Rooms, common areas, public washrooms, bars,grounds & restaurants very clean. Pool & beach area could be cleaner, maybe more trash cans on the beach would help. Staff were all friendly & very helpful in all matters. Had a fantastic vacation.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Amazing staff

We stayed at this resort for the second time and were not disappointed. I had e-mailed to ask if they did anything for anniversaries and they booked us a romantic Cuban dinner complete with an anniversary cake for dessert, thank you Aisel! The welcome back dinner for returning guests was a wonderful lobster affair and the seating was in the kiddy pool, unique idea and well received by all. Staff are all friendly and very helpful. Vendors all have a beautiful selection of items for you to choose from. The only negative I can comment on is that the pool exchange should be open till the pool closes at 6 and not close at 4:30.

Sol Turquesa Beach: OK for the money

Room was not very clean. food needs major improvement and would be nice if Beach was cleaned once in awhile.people were not very friendly as other parts of Cuba.washroom kept breaking .we put up with it because we paid $650 per person only for 8 days

Riu Emerald Bay: Repeat client and will return soon!

Excellent and always good value. Close to a mini shopping strip, great coffee shop @ end of strip, 30 minute bus service into Central and Golden Zone area. Very secure and safe for all. The staff truly make your stay memorable and entertained. Clean, well managed and very friendly, very welcomed repeat client, very family oriented but never crowded. Would recommend Rue Emerald Bay in a heartbeat.

Riu Negril: Very nice

The guys on the beach were too much. I don't care what You're doing but keep it down. The language was deplorable. Thank Go I didn't bring my elderly parents. I felt sorry for the with kids and the nice older people.

Riu Negril: Great vacation

Hotel was nice, needs upgrades and is being renovated in August. Staff was the best ever seen. Helpful, happy and very talented entertainers. Drinks are amazing. Food is very tasty. Jerk chicken is a must try.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Marvellous time,Marvellous place, just marvellous

I like to thanks all the staff at Riu Place, my husband and I felt,very special , it was a perfect time,the food is excellent , the view is breath taking, the drink juste the way I like it.the beach quite stunning, and at the pool lots to do, and all of the staff just fantastic thank you every one at Riu Palace

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: relaxing resort

My stay at the Riu was One I couldn't afford. The price was reasonable. hotel was older, mature well-managed food was awesome. Employees where always smiling and there services above and beyond. I would go back again.

Riu Negril: Great resort, great beach good value

We loved that this resort was located on Bloody Bay which is protected waters great for floating and swimming. Snorkelling was very good as well right off the beach. The beach grill offered amazing Jerk chicken. The selection of A la carte restaurants was good although the booking 2 days in advance a bit of a pain. Could never get earlier than 9pm seating for dinner. And that was lining up at 8am 2days in advance.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful resort and location

The view of the beach was beautiful, but it was unpleasant walking on it because the sand was rough on the feet and very hot. The buffet was amazing but we were not impressed with an of the a-la-carte restaurants. We usually ended up going to the buffet after because we didn't like our food.

Riu Emerald Bay: Nothing negative about this resort

This resort was amazing in every aspect. We travelled with our daughter and son-in-law and it more than met our expectations. The rooms are beautiful with a panoramic view from every room. The staff are the most beautiful, accommodating people we have ever met on a holiday. The food is delicious and the drinks are made with premium brand liquor (at least in the lobby bar which is where we went every evening.) Grand Memories Varadero: Meh

The service wasn't what it should be, the food was cold for most of the meals. My room was lucky to be cleaned two days out of seven. Location was nice and tidy but need some direction from management. The ground worker where great.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Very nice resort

Loved our week here! The food is fantastic, the people are friendly, and the beach is beautiful, all sand, no rocks and easy going waves - no need to wake up early for a spot and the waiters/waitresses serve right on the beach! There is a wonderful animation team that makes a point to meet and great every guest. We will definitely be back next year.

Riu Emerald Bay: great place

this was our 5th stay at this resort typical riu just great /one beef a lot of locals with many many kids and loud.the staff is a one service ex food and bev are excellent the odd time have to wait for a elevator but on holidays I don't care.

Grand Memories Varadero: Not what we paid for!

The grounds were well kept, the rest rooms not alway working, clean nor toilet paper. Room were dirty and we did not get water or clean towels on one of the days. We also had to wait until the second day to get beach towels and could not exchange them for the remainder of the trip

Riu Palace Aruba: Not so good hotel stay

The beach was okay, the staff was amazing, but the smell of mould was bad in our room. Then to top it off they started construction in the building where we were staying in. The noise was unbearable, we did not relax at all, we could hear the noise when we were in our rooms and when we were laying near the pool.

Riu Flamingos: a great vacation spot

Great for families, good food and great hospitality. Nice beach and beautiful panorama. Very busy, but still lots of space to sit in the sun or shade. Our room had two double beds and one twin which was great for our family of 4.

Grand Memories Varadero: Tansitioning...

Overall, a nice hotel but going through changes and it showed. As expected in Cuba, the food was not that great, rather bland. The 24hr snack bar ran out of 4 of their 7 items for 3 days. Buffets are alright, but you will need to search for something edible. They are on Cuban time, to if you want "freshly cooked meats", you need to wait in line for a while. They seem to only cook per person and not grill for several at the same time. Overall, was ok, but definitely not a 4 or 4.5 star resort as  [... read more]some descriptions say. This would be 3.5. It is worth the minor upgrade to the superior area as it is closer to the beach. The Adults only/VIP section is NOT worth the extra dollars unless you really want to be alone and secluded.
