Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Royalton White Sands beach resort

the hotel was beautiful, very clean and beds were very comfortable. the food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.. We also loved the excursions outside the hotel.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Amazing resort!! - great people :)

When we first entered the hotel and noticed the beach was across the street we were apprehensive. However, once inside dealing with the staff we were quickly changed for the better. Wayne in the dining room was an absolute sweetheart, the bartenders Staintan, Martin and Presley were amazing and always eager to help. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome Resort.

The overhaul experience was awesome. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the hotel was very clean. If was very nice to go to a resort where people speak english and there was no language issues. The bar tenders at the pool bar where very friendly and always willing to have a chat. Would go back tomorrow.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome Resort!!

Our stay at this resort was just fabulous. Myself, my husband and our friends enjoyed everything about Iberostar, Montego Bay. The location was a quick 15 minute bus ride and the transfer arranged by Trip Central was smooth and comfortable. Our room was big, bright and clean as a whistle. The food was delicious at both the buffet and the A LA Cartes. The beach and pool area was also clean and well kept. The lazy river was an extra bonus even for us adults!! Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: A very nice resort

The Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort was a wonderful resort. The grounds were very beautiful. Intertainment was awesome. The food was great. The people so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beach was grand and the pool, lets just say beautiful and lots of fun.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Grand Lido Negril

We returned to this resort for the last week they were open, we had made many friends. Our two real reasons for choosing this resort were because of the adult only policy and their outstanding staff. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Both Good and Bad

The staff was hard-working, which made this overall a good experience. However, we dad to wait 1 1/2 hours past check-in for our room for no explicable reason. If it wasn't for Orando at the front desk we would have had to wait longer. Ended up getting in our room at almost 5 pm and our safe wasn't working (the handle wouldn't turn). At that point I was so frustrated I was almost in tears. We called maintenance and based on previous reviews were expecting quite a wait but to our surprise a worke [... read more]r showed up within ten minutes and fixed it. With the late entry to our room, we ended up losing most of our first day there, which was quite disappointing. Just enough time for a quick dip in the pool, which was fantastic. We were invited to the steakhouse by one of the workers while in the pool and ate there that night; the buffet stuff was just average but I had the salmon on the waiter's recommendation, which I really enjoyed (small portion but the appetizers and dessert are buffet style). The food overall was just average. I'm not a picky eater, but my friend is and she had trouble finding things she could eat. Some things looked good but didn't taste so great; most of the desserts are super sweet, even for someone who likes sweet stuff. Would recommend the Orchid buffet over the Palmyra as there are more choices and we found the service to be better. The outdoor lunch buffet was generally good - make sure you look at your jerk chicken before walking away because my friend's was pink (uncooked) inside. In my opinion, the best meal was at the Mikado (Japanese restaurant) - the sushi appetizer wasn't so good but the teppanyaki of various meats, veggies, and rice was great. Drinks were plentiful and we didn't feel the cups were too small as some previous vacationers have mentioned. The grounds were immaculate and the beach was great (the walk to the 'good' beach is really not as far as people make it seem - took us five minutes). That part of the beach has two separate bars that are close to the chairs, and yes there are people in the water selling souvenirs but they aren't a bother. We found them entertaining. We never had trouble finding free loungers at any time of the day at the beach, but at the pool the only free loungers were in the direct sun. Speaking of, bring SPF 60 or above and make sure you slather it on. I have an olive skin tone and was burned pretty badly within the first day - a week later still recouping. The staff generally provided great service; bartenders are hilarious. The women at the front desk always look like they couldn't be bothered, and the premium club women harass people as they walk through the lobby - we started avoiding it on the second day for that reason. We tried saying no politely, beating around the bush, being direct - none of it worked. If I said no the first five times I'm not interested! They really need to work on that. Our room keys stopped working twice - not so good when it's late at night and we wanted in the room. Was a simple fix at the front desk but again the staff there aren't so friendly. Overall I would stay here again if the price was right, but there are better deals to be had in Jamaica. Shop around!

Legends Beach Resort: Average hotel.

It was my fifth time to Negril, first time at Legend's. Needs some upgrading. They have great staff. We did not do the all inclusive which I am glad as it is very limited. It would be nice if they provided beach towels, hair dryers, and coffee makers for each room. The rooms were pretty clean. It's very basic.

Secrets St James: Trip to remember....

This is a very nice resort with well kept grounds & very polite & friendly helpful staff. Beach & the water was the best ever. Lots of shade & chairs on beach & by the pool. Food was wonderful with good choices for everyone. Rooms are very comfortable & clean.

Riu Negril: Wonderful Experience

Despite reading some concerning reviews regarding this hotel, we had a wonderful time at Riu Negril. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and restocked with alcohol and two bottles of water every other day. The staff were extremely friendly and genuine, if you had a problem they would do their best to remedy it. The food was GREAT. The buffet was better than all of the a la carte restaurants offered so don't bother with booking those. The grounds were well-kept and the beach was UNREAL. Only thing I  [... read more]would warn against was the locals selling goods on the beach... They could be quite insistent and became tiresome after a while. Sitting a little way away from the water helped remove you from their sightlines.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Awesome family vacation

Family of five just back from a vacation on this resort. Resort was clean, food was great, huge pool but small beach (if you're a beach person this could be a problem). Very nice water park for the kids. We would definitely go back :)

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great resort!

This resort is spacious, clean and friendly. The resort was full but certainly did not feel that way. No problem getting chairs, huts, dinner reservations, etc. The food and drinks were above average. The size of the resort is NOT a problem ... we were in one of the furthest buildings from the middle of the resort and it was a short walk each way to the restaurants, pool, bars, etc. We did not use the 'trolly system' once. Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic Overall Experience

I travelled with my husband and another couple to the Jewel Runaway Bay, Jamaica on Apr. 13 - 27th, 2015. Our two weeks stay was wonderful. This was our first time to Jamaica and our friends it was their third. We flew with Sunwing, all went well, we were even 20 min. early arriving at Sangsters Intl. Airport. The trip on the bus was comfortable, they had refreshments for us to purchase. We got to the resort, and were checked in within 10 min. We checked out the resort prior to our rooms being r [... read more]eady. But in no time we got into building #1. We had a room facing the service area, but it didn't bother us. It was clean and comfortable we were fine. A few days later our friends were having some issues and the hotel moved us to building #2 facing the pool. These rooms were comparable with cleanliness and comfort. We had only a few mosquitos and they didn't bother us. Everything was within a very close proximity so there really wasn't a lot of walking to do. The beach was excellent. The fish came up to you as you were swimming. The small reef was there, but in order to go outside of the buoy markers you would have to go down the beach on either direction and enter that way. If you are within the buoy markers then you are the responsiblity of the lifeguards. The food was very good whether it was at the buffet or at an al carte. The pizza, soft ice cream, mashed potatoes, wraps all the comfort foods from home were just as good if not better. (ice cream seemed to be a big hit with our groups praises :) The staff were very friendly, went out of their way to help you even to remind you of putting lots of sun lotion on. We did a few excursions and we have to say the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios was top knotch. Highly recommend you contact Marvin Gayle to arrange something. He got us to the right Blue Hole and his driver Delton was superb! Great job. We did the catamaran, snorkel & Dunns River Falls. We also did a trip to Negril which is 2 1/2 hrs. drive. We did 7 Mile Beach & Rick's Cafe. Watching the cliff divers was amazing. We didn't see a sunset as it rained and was cloudy. We would go to the Jewel again.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Fantastic Resort

The service here was incredible. Probably the best service I've had at an all-inclusive so far, and I've been to dozens. Food was also good, I just wish there were a few more options for dining. The Jerk Chicken hut on the beach was the best jerk chicken I've had. Ate that almost everyday at lunch. The beach is a bit small but it was never too packed which was good. The standard rooms are REALLY small. if you can afford to, opt for a larger room.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Nice resort.

The hotel was very nice, needs some updating. Grounds were beautifully kept. Public areas and rooms were kept clean all the time. You had a number of choices for dining, some had better service than others. Eat and drink whatever you want. Must try the Spa, the services and staff were fantastic.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: beautiful resort

The royal decameron Montego bay was beautiful amazing ground .clean , staff was amazing friendly. My bungalow was always clean aways clean towels and soap, showtime was exciting and entertaining .I will most definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone

Riu Montego Bay: Stunning holiday.

The food was excellent and the service was inexorably good. The beach small and intimate; we were fortunate in that the beach was not too filled with music. Also, the snack bar on the beach did a refined BBQ chicken.

The Oasis at Sunset: fantastic resorf

Grounds were clean and well kept, lots of greenery, friendly and courteous staff, excellent food, location close to airport...beach party was amazing with the entertainment and food, premium alcholhol.

The Oasis at Sunset: Great family focused resort with veggie burgers!

We've been to Jamaica 6 times and this was the most family friendly place we've been. Water park was super for all ages (our kids are 1 and 3 and they loved the little slide). The food was sufficient and tasty (other resorts had more options). We never ate at the Oasis side because it was a la carte on white table linens, so a bit too fancy for little kids. The beach grill and buffet was a great option for us (especially the veggie burgers for lunch). The only negative comment I have is the very strict no smoking policy (not even on the balconies of rooms). Only in designated smoking areas, or you pay a $250 cleaning fee. Overall, we will definitely be returning, but the smokers in our family will not be pleased.
