Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Grand Park Royal

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as you enter you are in awe. The staff are friendly and service is pretty good, has 3 pools which have a bar each and lots of restaurant options, snacks drinks, etc. Only two downfall for this hotel I would have to say is the quality and variety of food is not the best but it's OK. Other one is that because of where it is situated doesn't have a huge beach front, rather a very small private beach. Overall I think it's one of the better hotels in Cozumel.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Exceeds Expectations

Clean cozy rooms, beautiful facilities, restaurants are amazing. Two notes to share, it involves a lot of walking to get from A to B, there is a shuttle but it would be great if there are a couple more. The second note is, the entertainment is on the shy side during the day but still a lot of fun, highly recommend this hotel especially for families with kids.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Staff is great

The biggest thing I would like to address is the courtesy of staff. Faustino in Guest services was over the top helpful with organizing our excursions. Sarai Borges and Livorio provided us with great service and smiles. I found these bartenders to be very kind, helpful and if they didn't have what we wanted - they were very creative and helped make our stay even more pleasant. Kudos to the staff. If you could implement a "shake bar" perhaps as an option it would be a great idea. Personally I enjoy a refreshing shake with fresh fruit / fruit juices and maybe some protein added as an option as well.

Riu Yucatan: Second Time

Second time here. We really enjoy the resort. Quiet and well maintained. Food is good and plentiful. Staff is great. Beaches kept spotless. We will return again and would highly recommend Rui Yucatan.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great resort

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful location, resort, people, food at Royale restaurant was wonderful as is their staff who work very hard and help each other. Only issue would be their check in/out needs to he improve d. We waited a couple of hours to get our room and in the heat with Jean's on it was quite hot. Even if their was a "changing station".

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Fantastic Resort!

A beautiful and clean resort full of friendly, warm, welcoming staff. Food was great! Both the buffet and a la carte restaurants had lots of variety and options for everyone. Excellent family atmosphere, the pools, beach and lazy river were lots of fun for all. Rooms were gorgeous, clean, comfortable - the jacuzzi and the rain shower were amazing after a day in the sun.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Great resort!

Mostly everything was great about this resort. Well kept grounds and buildings, beautiful scenery and landscaping, and easy access to most things! I was not really impressed by the main buffet closed for lunch, but there were other options so it really was fine. The food options available at the buffet were better than the 3 restaurants I tried, but all still a fun experience. All drinks available were good too. My room was always cleaned nicely when the do not disturb sign was up and that was always nice to come back to. The rooms had very minimal power outlets which was really weird, bring a power bar maybe?

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: None Diamond Club

Our vacation was fun but if I had to do it again I would not go to the same resort. Food variety is poor. They did not even have hot chocolate because they had no chocolate powder 5 days out of 7. No Ice cream most of the days at the buffet. No tropical drinks or anything to do with fruits. No hot tub and if you want anything that can be close to hot water ,not hot, you have to pay $150 for a warm little pool. Even though You paid for the hotel you are not allow to enjoy the entire hotel becau [... read more]se you cannot access the whole resort as a “diamond club” option make you and your family feel like a second class citizen. Most staff was still very friend and the service was good. Watch out of the rooms with a very intense smell. Make sure to switch right away although they might give you the run around. That awful smell won’t go away. Trip Central was amazing to deal with and will be booking my trips with them in the future. Cancun was fun and if you have the time do the catamaran tour.. WOW!

Dreams Huatulco: FANTASTIC staff

This is our 4th time to a Dreams resort ( first time here) and 1 Secrets. They all have their own charms and this resort definatley does as well. I think COVID has taken its toll on this one though. This is the first time we dont really think we got value for the money we spent. The resort is really showing its age, Its all the little things, peeling paint in the hall ways, the pools are all missing tiles, There is next to no entertainment on this resort, In the past at every other resort we [... read more] have been to, there has always been something going on. Not here, is this a direct result of the impacts of Covid? I hope so. The food, IF you went to one of the resturaunts was pretty good, but the breakfasts were , for the most part a dissapointment. Our room had a fantastic view, that is the area though. Huatulco is so beautiful! The beach was certainly differant than those on the Gulf side, but the water is warm, the pools are warm and the drinks are cold!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Very nice resort

The resort is somewhat dated, however the rooms are very clean ,looked after daily staff is very pleasant in dinning room or the four restaurants. The beach is clean with plenty of launches. On the top of a cliff is a round pool with heated water where you can observe vhales almost daily from.[at no cost to you]

Las Palmas by the Sea: Comfortable Resort!

Nice, budget resort. Clean and friendly. Meals were great along with a fabulous, Italian a la carte resto. Clean room with a nce hot shower and comfortable bed. ****************************************

Princess Mundo Imperial: Not impressed

There are many issues at this resort #1 it needs a major updates #2. They need to informed customers a lot better on where they can eat night time. There’s no buffets throughout the night time we spent out of our seven nights we spent five of them at the Italian. We tried to go to the other two resorts that we were allowed to stay and playing and we were told we had to have reservations so the sat us outside instead of inside where it was nice and cool service took us nearly 2 hours to [... read more] get our dinner that night because we didn’t have reservations. I guess he didn’t think it was important to accommodate us , the pools, the water was too deep at the PRINCESS you could get in, but then after that you couldn’t stand around in the pool and chat and talk because it was too deep. We spent most of our time at the Pelazzio, where the water was warmer and you can actually walk around and talk to people and meet people because the water was all standing level If you want anything to eat or drink after 11 you had to pay for it front of our state and they are Italian and wanted an espresso coffee after 11 o’clock and they were told they had to pay for it. It wasn’t part of their all-inclusive. They also restaurant because we were Sunwing we only had four choices for dinner or friend ordered a steak dinner and I only bought one meal told him that they had to share the meal and his wife is very upset saying we ordered two meals and they said you’re what sound when you only get one, so they had to share a steak dinner Overall, not impressed at all. Definitely will not be going back.

Atelier Playa Mujeres: Amazing Resort

I loved how big the resort was and and its open design. The beach was very nice and felt private. The food selection could have been definitely better and the entertainment. Overall, it was still good

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Aging resort

We have been to this resort 10 plus times and have enjoyed the overall experience as always. This year we noticed some issues, although minor, are not being looked after. We were in building #2 and found that in each staircase on several floors the lights were burnt out. This creates a safety concern when walking down a lighted hallway then entering a dark staircase where you cannot see the steps properly. The beach staff were very friendly but are now faced with worn out equipment such as boogi [... read more]e boards which seem well used and abused. They could probably buy at least another 12 boards and find that they would be used by guests on a daily basis, making it a better experience for those guests choosing to enjoy the beach facilities. Surfing is also very popular at this resort, but there does not seem to be enough surf boards available for those enthusiasts. A water hose tap at the beach activities center would not turn off properly, sometimes running for long periods continuously despite the fact that staff had requested a repair to the tap multiple times. We ate in the buffet for most of our meals at the resort. I found that many items were plentiful and food was abundant. I also found that many of the trays holding supposedly hot food were not able to keep the food hot. Many of our meals were cold. My partner actually got shocked when touching one of the food warming trays and I requested my food to be reheated on the grill multiple times. Staff was always friendly, so there must be a communications issue where staff are afraid to report issues as found. Management should want to get opinions from staff members more frequently. I know these items are minor and overall we still enjoy this resort for beach activities, weather and remoteness from downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: Met all expectations

We loved this hotel! The room was big bright and comfortable! Bed was comfortable! Food was good! Service was great! Drinks were great! We will definitely go back! There is no beach access but great close view of ocean with beds chairs in sand. This hotel is nice and small so it’s quiet. Very to little entertainment but if u like quiet this is your resort!

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nice resort , beach was just ok

The hotel was very clean, however we were disappointed with the beach because we did not have access to the water in our section . The water and the beach sand was separated with a 2-ft concrete wall. We had to walk further out to have access to the water. The hotel and the grounds were great! I would only recommend this hotel if the beach was not an important factor.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Family Getaway

Great smaller resort in a fantastic location. Clean, tidy, amazing service and staff. Food was good - our 12 year old loved all the fish options and the pasta bar. Husband loved the morning omelet station. Staff went out of their way to also send our son a little birthday cake and card. If you have younger children or a really light sleeper - ask for an inside room that faces the ocean. We were on the street side and was busy with noise (cars, sirens) - not an issue for us. Our friends we [... read more]re on the "wedding reception" side - so the loud music and party goers did not allow for a quiet sleep. However, the staff was very accommodating at changing rooms (based on availability).

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Great resort!

The resort was in great condition and they kept the grounds looking amazing. The staff was very friendly and if you needed anything they would go out of their way to make sure you were taken care of. Would definitely recommend this resort.

En ce concerne le buffet, pour ceux qui recherchent avant tout une expérience culinaire, je ne pense pas qu'il s'agisse du bon hôtel. Mais, bien que le buffet était limité, on arrive quand même à trouver de quoi se satisfaire. Et effectivement, c'est très mexicain. Si vous aimez c'est parfait pour vous, sinon, c'est plus difficile. En ce qui concerne les chaises de piscine, ceci ne concerne pas seulement cet hôtel, mais je trouve qu'il est indécent de réserver une chaise pour toute la journée, alors qu'elle n'est occupée qu'une heure ou deux. Cette pratique généralisée devrait être interdite. Vous utilisez la chaise ou pas. Point à la ligne. Si vous ne l'utilisez pas, vous la laissez à quelqu'un qui s'en sert. Les chaises étaient réservées à partir de 6h00 le matin (parfois plus tôt). Très difficile d'en trouver. Heureusement que je suis une lève-tôt, j'ai pu faire mon choix, mais malgré tout, je trouve dommage de laisser des chaises vides si longtemps. Il y a beaucoup de mexicains qui viennent en vacances à l'hôtel et personnellement, je trouve que ça rend l'expérience de voyage et de dépaysement encore plus intéressante. Les chambres étaient propres, confortables et bien entretenues régulièrement. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour et nous y retournerions sans problème. Merci beaucoup.
