Riu Ocho Rios: My riu vacation!!

The resort was big and beautiful and it had so much to do and so spacious!! The beach was amazing clean clear and beautiful!! The rooms were very nice and clean the deck had a beautiful garden view!! The staff could have been much more friendly but for the most part the resort was great!!

Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome Vacation and Wedding

The resort was beautiful, friendly and a great spot to host a wedding. Details were all taken care of profesionally and timely. Only a couple of things that I didn't like ...the pool was not all that clean and the mosquitos were plentiful. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with great service and wonderful location.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Staff are fantastic

The resort is beautiful, the staff are fantastic, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. We didnt eat at any of the a la carte restaurant, as we loved it at the Little River buffet for all our meals, the selections and variety is comparable to a cruise ship....unbelievable... would recommend to anyone, the only complaint, is there wifi is unreliable...

Sandals Royal Plantation: enjoyed resort

Thought overall view if resort was really nice, scenery was breath taking and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. A bit dis appointed with beach but that's hard to control, just like the rainy weather. Trip was relaxing and got to enjoy time with my sister and sistet-in-law!!!!

Riu Ocho Rios: Excellent resort.

Rooms, common areas, public washrooms, bars,grounds & restaurants very clean. Pool & beach area could be cleaner, maybe more trash cans on the beach would help. Staff were all friendly & very helpful in all matters. Had a fantastic vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing holiday

We travelled for a good friends wedding. The ceremony was absolutely stunning. Overall this hotel is certainly a 4 star in my eyes. The only thing that would have made it better is knowing about the Gold Package and being offered the upgrade. Otherwise no complainants. The staff were amazing, grounds were well kept, and everything was so clean. Definitely would recommend it!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: nice resort

For a Resort only being 8 years old and having a 4.5 rating. the place was not up to a 4.5 star rating in my book. The grounds were nice not great. The Hotel rooms were out of date and dark needed a good cleaning and paint. No WiFi in the rooms complained all week still nothing done. The la cart restaurants the food was terrible not just me we had a group of 10 people .The staff was great they always had a smile. The buffet was fine.

Couples Tower Isle: Beyond all expectations

Hotel, staff, food, atmoshpere were all amazing......perfect amount of activities and excursions included to make even more memories!! Rooms were large enough, but the bed was really hard, i was sore the whole trip. The mini bar was not automatically stocked everyday like it has been at past resorts, which was annoying to have to call each time you wanted something, and the call had to be made by a certain time. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful place, service, staff are hit-and-miss

The resort itself is beautiful. Great pool, lobby, bars, beach, and restaurants. The rooms are nice but small things showed a lack of pride - running toilet, broken switches.. service was awesome sometimes and poor other times. Room services (daily stocking of the bar fridge, for example) was inconsistent. It was common to hear that they had run out of something, including at the bars. Basic service is included at all levels but the Luxury upgrade is well worth it if the difference is only a cou [... read more]ple hundred bucks - you get a bigger room, exclusive pool area with more shade, higher end drinks, room service included, and more bookings at the a-la-carte restaurants. Food was excellent everywhere and we had a couple of amazing servers who made us feel special, which really improved our stay.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Perfect Vacation Spot

This is our fouth stay at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica and we absolutely love this resort. It is beautiful and so relaxing. I love the atmosphere around the resort from the lobby to pools, I wouldn't change a thing.

Beachcomber Club: great place

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? was a great resort only complaint was the food they need to have more selection but other than that was great staff was amazing, location was amazing would recomend this resort if you like a quiet place.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing resort

I loved the palladium it was beautifully designed, and the grounds well kept. The rooms were very spacious and beds super comfy. The bathroom had a large jet tub and large walk in shower. The maid kept our room immaculate and met all our needs...the fridge was always stocked with water, drinks and beer. The buffets were really good, something for everyone. The main pool is massive and beautiful and well maintained, always lots of chairs available all day long. The beach had 3 sections and the cove was the best part of the three. Someone was always available to bring u drinks to your chair...super service. i would highly recommend this piece of paradise to everyone.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Relaxing Vacation at RD- Montego Bay

This is an older resort and suited for all types of vacationers. Grounds and resort are kept clean. Really liked that its a smaller resort and staff were extremely friendly. Food was exceptional. The beach area is very clean, never over-crowded & ocean was amazing. Was entertained by aircraft passing by the resort to the airport. The rooms are very outdated but clean. Only complaint was that bottled water was scarse. Nightly entertainment was good most nights.

Beachcomber Club: Average resort

Hotel grounds kept well, rooms clean and bed comfortable- hotel staff friendly.Food was below average- choices were minimal- we spent a lot of money eating off the resort- alcohol drinks were a poor selection

Riu Negril: Very nice

The guys on the beach were too much. I don't care what You're doing but keep it down. The language was deplorable. Thank Go I didn't bring my elderly parents. I felt sorry for the with kids and the nice older people.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: average resort

Resort was decent. .. food average at best... our was was terrible very damp all day everyday.. pillows and sheets damp and had a very bad oder... no fans in the bathroom. . Room had a bad oder all the time because they use the same stinky mop and water in every room... notified the front desk. .they didnt seem to care about anything there... Overall wasnt a very good experience and will not be recommending it to anyone. ...

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great resort

The resort it self is awesome, the food is average. I had my wedding there and it was ecerything I could imagine except for the meal. I had a private function and had to pay $45 USD a plate (I am Canadian so that would be about 56.00) I had steak and it was worse than the buffet steak. We went to the steak alcart the next night and it was amazing there. VERY dissapointed about that. I wouldnt reccommend doing a private meal for a wedding.

Riu Negril: Great vacation

Hotel was nice, needs upgrades and is being renovated in August. Staff was the best ever seen. Helpful, happy and very talented entertainers. Drinks are amazing. Food is very tasty. Jerk chicken is a must try.

Sandals Royal Plantation: Sandals Whitehouse-excellent

This is our second time a Whitehouse, overall it was as great as the first trip in 2010, the staff, resturants, club room accommodation, and pools were excellent as before. We did notice a difference with the beach, but were advised that storm errosion has damaged the beach significantly over the past few years.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: WORST VACATION EVER!!!!

Problems from Day 1 Very disappointed with quality of hotel, service provided, guest services resolution to problems and lack of items included in package!!!! 1. Cleanliness and lack of caring regarding standards and practices. When you complain, look out you are now a target!!!!! Cleaning staff stood outside our room last 3 days of our vacation yelling, laughing and intentionally keeping us awake, this started at 8 am!!!! And, on our very last day knock on door at 8.40 am (we were still in be [... read more]d sleeping), maintenance guy with a ladder coming to fix our "smoke vent" in the room....are you kidding me????? 2. Resolution to problems non existent!!!! Staff and managers need to be asked numerous times to resolve issues, ie. alcohol that is supposed to be in your room when you are part of the "luxury" resort, called numerous times to have it brought up, hit and miss sometimes there sometimes not!!!! 3. Guest services, you are required to complain more than 3 times with an apparent escalation in your frustration before they even attempt to assist you!!!! All in all I will NEVER return to this chain of resorts, I arrived home more frustrated than when I left. - We were not alone in our complaints, we overheard guests complaining that the beach bar (in luxury area) was out of vodka, rum and cola 3 days in a row?? Guest was in guest services area 3rd day in a row complaining about this issue he was very very upset and rightly so!!!! - 2 couples we met on their honeymoons booked in the luxury end of resort were given rooms with construction right outside their windows, hotel promised to find them new rooms, never happened, I can't imagine a WORSE honeymoon!!!! We were so disappointed with our original booking of the "Grand Bahia" and the services provided, we paid extra to get the "luxury Grand Bahia" services!!! It was a waste of the extra money!!!! This resort, "Grand Bahia" end should not be rated a 4 star and the "Luxury Grand Bahia" end should not be rated a 5 star!!!! I have never been so disappointed and frustrated on a holiday, I need another holiday to get over the horrible 1st one!!!!
