Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome place!

Gorgeous clean resort, friendly staff, lots of delicious food, and wonderful pool area. The only thing we disliked about the resort was the "sales pitch" and tour we felt pressured into doing. Other than that we would return again for sure!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great trip to Runaway Bay!

This was our 2nd time to this property and after our 1st time, we had somewhat high expectations. This time we stayed for 10 days which was the best! They met or exceeded all our expectations! . Staff was engaging, pleasant and efficient, Food was great! Room and view were amazing! We were comp upgraded to Don Pueblo side for our suite and the housekeeping staff did a great job. Beach is a distance ( for the best part of the beach) which we knew so no issue there. We enjoyed the walk. Security was always somewhere to be seen, both on the beach and on the property. Our only issue ( which was not a hotel issue) was that another guest helped themseves to one of our beach floaties while we at breakfast. I was not impressed! Never saw the flaotie for 8 days! Samsara Cliff Hotel: Awesome vacation

We loved the resort, awesome view of the ocean and sunset. We had a 6-sided garden view room on the water side of the resort which was very nice, large and clean. The bed was very hard with no pillow topper available - staff were helpful in providing additional blankets to put under us - felt like the princess and the pea with 9 blankets under us! Staff were  [... read more]very friendly and very courteous and helpful. The resort is a cliff resort so no beach area but provides for great snorkeling right out front - beautiful! Our biggest complaint would have to be the food and coffee availability which is why we would stay there again but not do all inclusive. There are very limited options for buffet meals and not really traditional Jamaican foods which we would have liked and if you are an early riser, coffee isn't available until around 7 am. We ended up walking down to the market and buying a kettle. However...we found a little restaurant right across the street which is an excellent compliment to the resort - Pressa One Love. It offers very reasonable traditional Jamaican meals as well as typical bacon and eggs and large coffee cups - and they are open at 6:30 am. It takes a few extra minutes to get your food but that is because it is made from scratch. There are other small restaurants within walking distance so you can enjoy the resort all day and skip out for meals if you so desire. A recommendation would be a small coffee station with maybe an individual coffee maker and maybe some fruit for after hours. Would I return to this resort??? absolutely!!

Riu Palace Jamaica: Excellent

Excellent place, just like new, clean, clean, clean, wonderful staff, excellent food good variety, lovely beach, good entertainment, best hotel room I have every stayed in, first time I stayed in a Riu resort, would recommend.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: The name Grand is absolutely appropriate

I got married there and it was amazing!!! The people were great and they really tried hard to ensure everyone had a great time at their resort. There were a few hip cups but even then the staff did what was needed to correct it. At times the staff were slow meeting everyone's demands but with that amount of customers it really is understandable. The resort makes you feel safe and appreciated. The rooms were very clean and the grounds were superbly maintained. The weather was perfect and there was enough space for everyone to enjoy. Riu Palace Jamaica: Amazing Resort!!

We went here for out honeymoon.. told them we were on our honeymoon, got upgraded to Oceanview suite! The room, lobby, restaurants, and beach was all awesome!! Also, I've never experienced such amazing customer service before - everyone was so friendly and nice (and would go out of their way to help us)! This was an adults only resort, so the people staying here were mature & handled themselves quite nicely. Me & my wife are in our mid to late 20's, i think we were the youngest couple there.. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Not a 5 star

The resort itself it very large. The rooms need maintenance in regards to the furniture, and bathrooms. We found the food in the buffets as well as the a la carte restaurants to be very good - lots of variety. The terrace has great nightly small bands that did not disappoint. However, we found the beach to be lacking. It just wasn't a 5 star calibre beach. The only thing that bugged me about this resort was the inconsistency of stocking coffee and the mini bar in the room. I need my coffee in th [... read more]e morning and to wake up and not have any was disappointing. Even after talking to the front desk about stocking coffee nothing ever came of it. Too bad.

Toby's Inn: Grate Place!

Great place to go at a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Location is Great. The public beach is 5 minutes away. hip strip is close with all the amenities you need. Will go back someday!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fell Short of Expectations

Resort is large but well laid out. Food only marginally better than Cuba but price a lot higher. Wine served is the worst we have come across. Constantly harassed by staff trying to sell spa and time share packages. Service staff were very good and helpful. Only went there because of destination wedding which they do a good job of. Would not go back as we prefer smaller resorts.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful spot

Everything was kept up nicely. Grounds were nice. People were great, always happy & smiling. Beach was beautiful. Pool could use more cleaning at times during the day. It was really nice to see designated smoking area's here.

The Oasis at Sunset: Relaxing, quiet, romantic vacation!

The hotel is adjacent to the larger resort but we enjoyed all the amenities. The junior suite was very nice and everything immaculately clean! Wonderful staff. Gorgeous grounds. Great food! Will return!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Excellent resort

Service was exemplary, food great, resort amenities wonderful. Beach side buffet night and entertainment was fantastic! Basic rooms were small but very reasonable accomodations. Overall, great resort with well balanced mixed of relaxation and entertainment.

Sunset Beach Resort and Spa: Poor value for the price charged

Grounds - OK Room - no minibar or even bottled water Food - OK but fruit assortment is poor Public areas - very noisy at night, most of the rooms exposed, hard to sleep (idiot guests shouting and laughing up to 3am; peacocks on the premises - bad idea, start yelling at 4:30am; employees start moving furniture at at 4am).

Riu Ocho Rios: My riu vacation!!

The resort was big and beautiful and it had so much to do and so spacious!! The beach was amazing clean clear and beautiful!! The rooms were very nice and clean the deck had a beautiful garden view!! The staff could have been much more friendly but for the most part the resort was great!!

Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome Vacation and Wedding

The resort was beautiful, friendly and a great spot to host a wedding. Details were all taken care of profesionally and timely. Only a couple of things that I didn't like ...the pool was not all that clean and the mosquitos were plentiful. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with great service and wonderful location.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Staff are fantastic

The resort is beautiful, the staff are fantastic, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. We didnt eat at any of the a la carte restaurant, as we loved it at the Little River buffet for all our meals, the selections and variety is comparable to a cruise ship....unbelievable... would recommend to anyone, the only complaint, is there wifi is unreliable...

Sandals Jamaica Royal Plantation: enjoyed resort

Thought overall view if resort was really nice, scenery was breath taking and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. A bit dis appointed with beach but that's hard to control, just like the rainy weather. Trip was relaxing and got to enjoy time with my sister and sistet-in-law!!!!

Riu Ocho Rios: Excellent resort.

Rooms, common areas, public washrooms, bars,grounds & restaurants very clean. Pool & beach area could be cleaner, maybe more trash cans on the beach would help. Staff were all friendly & very helpful in all matters. Had a fantastic vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing holiday

We travelled for a good friends wedding. The ceremony was absolutely stunning. Overall this hotel is certainly a 4 star in my eyes. The only thing that would have made it better is knowing about the Gold Package and being offered the upgrade. Otherwise no complainants. The staff were amazing, grounds were well kept, and everything was so clean. Definitely would recommend it!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: nice resort

For a Resort only being 8 years old and having a 4.5 rating. the place was not up to a 4.5 star rating in my book. The grounds were nice not great. The Hotel rooms were out of date and dark needed a good cleaning and paint. No WiFi in the rooms complained all week still nothing done. The la cart restaurants the food was terrible not just me we had a group of 10 people .The staff was great they always had a smile. The buffet was fine.
