Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing!

The resort was great! Staff were friendly, accommodating and hard working, building and grounds very well kept, and the food amazing! The entertainment staff kept guest well occupied during the day and completely entertained at night with show time!

Riu Vallarta: Woderful Holiday

We very much enjoyed our two week holidy at RIU Vallarta. This was our second visit to the hotel and we were not disaappointed. We had friends join us for the 2nd week and our request that their room be close to ours was acommocated. Buffet was terricic...disappointed with the Asian restaurant as it was buffet only. Grand Memories Varadero: Disappointed it has the Rui name

Grounds were beautiful, pool amazing, rec staff good. The rooms were ok but, service was terrible no clock in room, wake up times were never received,. Arrived at night had to find our building/room. Had to ask for pool towels then clean towels after 2 days, never got new pool towels our entire stay or new bedding. When's to an a la cart restraunt not the food on menu had to ask for drinks, buns even got the dessert wrong. If you didn't get to the beach by 6 you didn't get a chair. We have travelled every year to different rui's and was impressed by their standards for guests, this one definitely needs management leadership.

Riu Emerald Bay: Great place!!!

We just returned from 10 day stay at the Riu Emerald Bay. This was our second time staying at the Riu, and we were not disappointed.. The front desk was very helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.. Thank you to previous post regarding the mattress topper! 2 nd day we were there we asked for it and what a difference it made.. The waiters were all fantastic !! Grand Memories Varadero: excellent

Hotel and grounds perfect.food was great. The staff and housekeeping aimed to please everyday. Had a massage to die for on last day . water exercises and pool side games were a lot of fun. Was great to relax and people watch.

Palace St. Martin: Quiet lovely resort

Good food,sunshine,clean room,nice people. What's not to like? This is not a teenagers or action filled resort. The only suggestion I would have is a resort is for coffee or tea dedicated area for all hours (not at the bar or in your room)

Riu Cancun: Spectacular Resort!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, I was taken away from the moment we arrived. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and very friendly. The rooms/grounds/lobby were ALWAYS being cleaned literally I felt like I never saw sand or dust anywhere. The hotel grounds isn't very large as it is a high rise but it was still breath taking. The food was endless and amazing! There was such a large variety of well prepared food that everyone is bound to find something they love! The a-la-carte restaurants were very nice, I particularly enjoyed the Japanese and the Steakhouse. I will definitely be back to the Riu they are a great chain of hotels and the Riu Cancun definitely exceeded all my expectations. ** I also wanted to note that we were there during the first week of American Spring break and we noticed that the service quality had dropped slightly since the spring breakers had arrived. This is definitely warranted as it was just too crazy to keep up with everything but despite that it was still amazing how well the Staff handled the giant influx of travellers and crazy party people.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Pleasantly surprised

My finance and I had a great stay at the Riu palace Pennisula. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was immaculate and the beach and water were amazing! Our room was exactly what we asked for and we didn't feel "ripped" off at all. We stayed for ten days and not once did we complain about the food.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Great Resort

Resort was very good. Clean, food was good, staff were very friendly. Had a good time. The drinks were also very good. Being an all inclusive resort, it gave us the chance to try different food and drinks. The beach was also very nice. It was ok for swimming, but the week we were there was quite windy, so you had to be aware of the undertow if you were not a strong swimmer. There were lots of loungers, so getting one was not a problem.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: practically perfect

Evervhing, from the views, the grounds, the restaurants, food, staff, and service was excellent .Everyone is working hard to make your stay the best possible. If I had to find something negative, it would be the reserving of lounge chairs. Get up early!

Riu Merengue: Had a great trip !

The resort and beach were very clean, rooms were always taken care of. However we had no hot water during our last two days there. The food was good but got very redundant, there was never a change in selection from day to day. The daily and nightly entertainment was okay, Ive seen better, and Ive also seen worse. the beach was okay, alot of seaweed, but still enjoyable. Service at the bars was great, however all bars on our resort closed at 11, and we had to walk 10 minutes to Riu Bachata, in o [... read more]rder to get 24 hour bar service. Overall, we had a great stay at Riu Merengue but I would never stay there again. We made the best out of what we had.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Fantastic Food

Resort was great. The food was excellent and the resort itself was very clean with very attentive staff. There was not a lot of activities or entertainment options though. Try not to book a room on the 15th floor - you can only use 1 of 3 elevators.

Riu Flamingos: good hotel for the amount paid

Hotel was clean and had many food options. Entertainment was typical to other resorts. Movie on the beach was amazing. The biggest issue for me was that if you don't tip, you get no service at the bars or restaurants. It felt like you had carry your wallet with you from morning till night to get service. I wouldn't pay more than $1200 for this resort

Sol Turquesa Beach: Good and Bad

This was my 5th trip to Cuba. This resort overall is not too bad, however, l can't say that l was wowed....the beach was quite disappointing, we were used to gorgeous beaches that you could walk for miles on. In front of the resort was nice, however as soon as you ventured away it was very dirty. Lots of seaweed. This resort has many steps and you need to ensure that you are prepared for them.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful Destination

The RIU Palace was a beautiful resort. The hotel was very clean and the service was fast and friendly. The food was good and the drinks were great. Definitely worth the upgrade to stay at the Palace!!

Riu Palace Aruba: Fantastic resort

Amazing staff, easy check-in, it's a beautiful resort in every way, the beach is paradise, the food is excellent, Aruba is an awesome place to visit, I would recommend the Rui palace to anyone and I will definitely return again and again

Riu Palace Antillas: fantastic resort

My wife and I have travelled all over the Caribbean and found that Aruba was by far our favorite place to go. The Riu Palace Antillas was so amazing. You want for nothing and if you need it they will do there best to get it for you. The food was great and I liked that you could drink the tap water. It felt good to be able to walk down the street without feeling uneasy. People there will stop to let you cross the street. Tourism is there biggest source of income so they really appreciate you here [... read more]. The beaches were spectacular and virtually weedless. We are absolutely going back to Aruba again. Thank you to all the staff at the Riu Palace for making our vacation a very relaxing one.

Riu Palace Antillas: Great Vacation

This is one of the cleanest resorts you could imagine, ALL hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Food, drinks, staff were all so great. One of our better vacations. You will want for nothing at this great resort!!!

Riu Bambu: Would revisit

The grounds of this resort are beautiful, especially the Madagasgar Palms, our room was clean, the lobby was a pleasure to sit in, the public washrooms were well kept. The entertainment during the day, and at night was very good.

Riu Santa Fe: Nice hotel, great location.

Typical RIU great staff and room, food ok. Do not exchange your money at the hotel - exchange absolutely terrible. Staff very helpful. The walking distance from building 7 to front entrance is not that far, not sure why so many complain about this
