Melia Las Dunas: Amazing experience
The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The the staff were incredibly friendly! I want to especially thank our maid service, drink service to the room, our buffet server and all the bar staff. I also want to say that the beach is incredible and there were always huts available which was awesome Thankyou for the wonderful memories!
Melia Jardines del Rey: Great resort
I thought the hotel was great!!! The staff were really approachable and willing to help you!! I liked the beach being nice and close to the hotel I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends Looking forward to going back to Cuba
Melia Marina Varadero: Fantastic resort, surpassed expectations!
Our first time to a "hotel style" resort and we were very pleased with our choice. Staff works hard to keep the grounds clean, hotel common areas are well maintained, our room was very nice and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job on keeping it clean and delivering special requests in a very prompt delay. The 3 restaurants "a la carte" were great, staff are very polite and professional, food was delicious. We enjoyed the French restaurant the most out of the 3. The main buffet area was nic [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Great Resort
The resort was beautiful. The staff were exceptional. Very polite and very helpful. The grounds were kept tidy and very clean. The food at the buffet and a la carte were excellent. The Ocean view Villas were nice except that there were trees, weeds and bushes blocking the view to the Ocean. We did not have those, but people who paid a lot more money for those were disappointed. I would not pay for those. Our room was very nice close to the main building. A two minute walk to the pool and beach. [... read more]
Sol Cayo Coco: Enjoyable Stay
We had a relaxing , enjoyable stay at Sol Cayo Coco. The gardens are beautiful , very well kept. As for the rooms, very clean. Our room was ocean view, and quiet area. The rooms are getting old (we know that about 50 rooms are getting updated for the high season); we had some issues with our first room with the lock( fixed right away) and then the air conditioning. But , they quickly accommodated us with another room which was in order. That's how you see the costumer service really working [... read more]

IN BUILDING 40 THAT WAS 2 BUILDINGS FROM THE MAIN LOBBY AND THE BUFFET/A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS IN ONE DIRECTION WHILE 4 BUILDINGS FROM THE MAIN POOL. Paradisus Rio De Oro: Nice resort
Close to perfection, very pleasant experience without royal services. Perfect location for outdoor people, maybe challenging for non swimmers because water way entrance. Perfect spot for snorkeling and diving. Just recommended to my son and hopefully he will get our advise. Very hard to find something unlikeable at this resort and all personnel was very pleasant and courteous. We never use the pool but was pleasent athmosfere around the pool. We will be back in the future.
Melia Las Dunas: Great resort!
Here is a breakdown of our stay at Melia Las Dunas (adults only side) from July 3-8. PROS Despite many peoples complaints about the food in Cuba and the poor state of the accommodations, we felt as though the food was good and we were very well taken care of. Our room was nice and clean and was maintained daily. The staff at the restaurants were extraordinarily hard working and mindful of their patrons. We were particularly impressed with the Ranchon (beach restaurant) with their attenti [... read more]
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Good resort!
Beaitiful hotel and grounds. Food was good, better than in most hotels we've visited over the period of last 15 years. The only thing I did not like was long walk down to the beach under the hot Cuban sun.
Melia Las Americas: We fell in love with Cuba and with Hotel Melia Las Americas
We were in awe from the moment we entered the lobby. Great hotel, service, activities and food! The beach is breathtaking! We were pleasantly surprised by the food. This was our first visit to Cuba, and we had heard so many bad comments. We actually had a few very pleasant meals in the speciality restaurants.
Melia Peninsula Varadero: Good resort in Cuba
Overall, it was a nice resort. Employees were friendly. Food was good but it was almost the same for the whole week. The resort is old and there were some problems in my room.First the TV was not working, and also if you want beach towels you have to go early if you because they will run out. The toilet wasn't working and it always gets stuck
Melia Las Americas: Our First Visit... And Hopefully Not Our Last
Our first trip to Cuba turned out wonderful! We were impressed with the hotel as soon as we walked in, and were very pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. We has heard so many bad comments regarding the food quality in Cuba, but the food at the Melia Las Americas was perfectly acceptable. We actually had a few delicious meals in the speciality restaurants.
Melia Las Americas: NEVER DISAPPOINTS
Always glad to return to the Melia Las Americas. It is our 'go to' place for rest and renewal. Mr. Meyers, the 'boss' is a fine gentleman, ever present, ever pleasant and available to chat. Raphael, the banquet manager, is a low-keyed, professional, keeping his eyes on what's going on. There are many 'veteran' staff that we have known many years. It is such a pleasant encounter with each & every one of them, and they are so kind to us. The facilities, the beach, the pools, the food, a [... read more]
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Great facilities
Though the hotel and facilities were spectacular, I found the staff to be a little on the unhelpful side. Maybe it was because I traveled in the off-season, but the staff did the bare minimum of their job requirements. That being said it's hard to argue with such an amazing location. Also Havana is a must see city!
Hotel Camino del Mar: Beautiful resort
Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice selection of food. Garden is well looked after and beach is very clean. There is a doctor's office as well. Toilet did not flush, and one of the light bulb was out. We called customer service and staff came to fix the problems right away. Customer service follow-up with a telephone call to find out whether the problems have been looked after. Very long fishing pier where we were able to fish and we caught some and gave them to the locals. This is our secon [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Great resort !
We recently stayed at this hotel as it was recommended by our friends. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just as they said it would. The hotel itself is a bit older and might need a little 'face lift' bit it was charming in its on way. Loved that the lobby and everything that u needed didn't require climbing stairs as it was located on the ground level. The rooms were well ventilated so no musky smell, towels nice and clean changed daily and air conditioning working extremely well conside [... read more]
Melia Habana: Great hotel!
The pool is the best in all Havana. Great food. Clean room. Nice entertainment. Far from the city but there is the free shuttle to Old Havana several times per day. In bar beer: $3, any cocktail: $6 in bar, pizza $10+.
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Hidden Gem
If you're not too picky, you'll love this resort. Friendly staff, AMAZING beach, and beautiful grounds. Only complaint was that check-in took 30 minutes- for some it took over 3 hours!! Some people complained about the food, but I loved it- fresh seafood every day! The room was very outdated (Luna side), and we were missing a shower, but one call and five minutes later, there was a handy man there within 5 minutes. New 1L bottle of water every day (plus you can get water at the bar- don't drink [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Beautiful beach
Everything was good except the blankets and the bed sheets were too old. Beautiful beach but watch out with the jellyfish, my kids got stung on the 1st day at the beach. A long walk from resort to the beach. Great done with the nighty entertainment.
