Grand Decameron Montego Beach: awesome more than a 3 star

nice small resort, clean, great food, so fun! perfect location. close to the airport. lots to do, great staff, every room is ocean front. I always felt safe, the grounds were well maintained and always enough loungers! great resort! we will be back!

Couples Tower Isle: Very nice place well worth it

This was our 2nd visit to Couples Tower Isle. This resort is so lovely, the service is unbelievable and the food was great !!!! The staff work extremely hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Check in was a breeze, staff at the front desk were very helpful & extremely friendly. The servers worked nonstop to shuttle drinks back & forth from bar to beach and always with a smile. Contrary to most resorts in the Caribbean, the service (all areas) is fast and very efficient.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Good resort

All in all this is a very good resort. We were on the Don Pablo side (Luxury). I enjoyed this as we had our own pool area, restaurants, lobby, etc as well as being able to use the rest of the facilities. The A La Carte restaurants were great !! The buffets were really good as well. The pools are very nice !! The rooms are also very nice .... all suites :) My only negative comments about the resort are: The resort layout is the not the best. The beach is far especially from Don Pablo and not a v [... read more]ery big beach area either. It took most of us about 4 days to figure out where things were and how to get to the restaurants, lobbies, etc. Not a huge problem when you are on vacation though !!! We didn't see too much of the entertainment but what we did see was ok. Nothing fabulous but ok. All in all, it was a good resort for the money spent !!

Riu Negril: Good and Bad

PROS: The rooms are very modern and clean. The view is amazing. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. CONS: The resort is very small. We seen 2 small stingrays in the swimming area so we tried to stay near the pool. There was only one small pool for the whole resort. This left the adults drinking alcohol with the young children running around. There were way too many rules at this resort. They had a pool bar at the pool but you couldn't stand in the water at the edge of the pool to drink i [... read more]t. Not a big deal, but there was no smoking around the pool area. You couldn't smoke by the upper bar during the day but at night they would put out ashtrays. And about 50% of the staff that work there are super obnoxious. Don't bother asking questions cause they will snap your head off. All in all, in my opinion, way to expensive for what you get!

Riu Palace Jamaica: best resort we ever stayed at

Hotel room was beautiful, clean the grounds were well kept. The staff was AMAZING and very friendly and accomadating. Our private tour guide was very friendly, and informative on the sights and history of the island . Our room was always ready, clean and done upon our arrival back to our room at the end of the day. The fridge was always stocked. The staff is VERY trustworthy. I left my jewelry and money out on the dresser wirhout any issues.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great resort for families and groups

Stayed here March 30 to April 6, 2015. Older resort but very well kept. Rooms in Building 2 were good. Beach is great, grounds were nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem getting a chair on the beach. Good variety of food and lots of it. Pizza place was quite popular. The addition of the water park is great for kids and adults. Entertainment was average.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: big and beautiful

we enjoyed it. resort is beautiful, food is great. lots to do for kids. beaches-some are very good, others are hard to swim, because of the rocks. stuff is friendly for the most part. trying to sell massages all the time though, but not too annoying.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: all-inclusively wonderful

Secondd time at Luxury Bahia - this time in hiigh season - despite the demands of high season / march break, it didn't dissapoint. Very well run, relaxing and fun and great friendly staff - no complaints

Club Ambiance: Great Resort

The whole area is well kept and the staff is very friendly. The food was very good tasting. Enjoyed talking to the morning chef as she prepared your eggs .We have come to this resort many times in the past but now has new management with a different mind set than the last owner

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

Good facilities. Food generally good but a couple of the a la carte restaurants weren't as good as we expected. Beach was mostly coarse sand not thin, powdery variety. Jerk restaurant was excellent for lunch.

Couples Sans Souci: Sans Souci, sans disappointment yet again

Fabulous visit to a magnicificant property. However an older property, it's clean and the staff is amazing. There are many things to do on this resort and you can find many places to find privacy. This was our third visit and definitely not our last

Riu Montego Bay: Great Resort!!!!

This resort was great for families!! Located near the Montego Bay airport, so a short bus ride from the airport is great for families with small children! Food at the buffet and Steak house great!! Italian restaurant could use a bit of work, didn't get a chance to eat at the Asian restaurant. Entertainment during the day was ok, nighttime shows a bit too late for children, otherwise all in all a great experience!!!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Excellent family vacation resort !

Clean rooms with current amenities, great housekeeping staff, engaging, energetic entertainment staff, friendly accommodating service staff, lovely beach, awesome snorkelling, fun water park option, immaculate grounds; delicious food available throughout. See a few opportunities for enhancements - swim up bar pool is in the 'family' pool - a bit small and not always serviced well; evening entertainment could be improved on.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Disappointing

The hotel was overall disappointing, it was certainly not a 5 star resort at best a 4 star. Although it had a beautiful swimming pool and grounds the beaches were rocky and you needed to wear water shoes. The themed restaurants were very disappointing and the entertainment much the same every night, although the hotel staff dancers were very talented it would have been nice to see a show with some audience participation. Considering the price we paid I expected much more for my dollar!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful resort

Great resort. Hotel is beautiful. Pool/beach are lovely. Good food, great staff, nice location. We took our 12 & 15 yr old daughters, and felt very safe and cared for. The only drawbacks - double beds instead of queens, and it would have been nice to have the pool open in the evenings.

Grand Pineapple Beach: A small friendly resort with a spectacular beach!

This is a small friendly resort where the staff goes above and beyond. This was our first visit to this resort but we met many returning patrons who come back year after year. The beach is beautiful, and the sunsets are stunning. We made sure we we're on the beach each evening to watch it. We are already planning our return for next year!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort!

Grounds and public areas are well kept! Rooms are clean! Large nice pool area! Make sure to change beach towels in the morning otherwise there is none! OK selection at the buffet!Free Wifi in the lobby takes time to get on! Entertainment team is great to keep everyone busy by the pool! Friendly staff! Beach is OK but could be nicer!

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Good Small Resort

This Cliff Resort is in Negril - very quiet place if you want to go and not be heckled all day - food was average - you won't starve - the water was mazing and the snorkeling the best I have seen - its sister resort Legends was very packed - hardly a place on the sand to call your own - be prepared to say NO a lot if you goto the beach at Legends.

Sandals South Coast: Birthday in Jamaica

Celebrated my wife's birthday in Jamaica, Sandals Whitehouse resort. It was truly a excellent resort, that lived up to my expectations. We had a walkout room in the Italian village. (excellent location, close to the beach, pool and all the restaurants.) The service was excellent, An effort by most staff to really make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to O'Neil, a lifeguard on the beach who set me up with beach chairs near our room, and made a "Happy Birthday" message for my [... read more] wife at our chairs. Really demonstrated excellent customer service, and great character. The airport and the drive in are time consuming. Customs at the airport was over an hour by itself. Sandals has a private room for arrivals where they collect baggage and offer drinks, very nice greeting. The bus ride is long. 1.5 hours!! Personally It's too long. After 3.5 hour flight, 1 hour in customs, you don't want to spend that long in traffic and on potholed roads. From the moment you arrive, the staff make a special effort to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Well Done! The grounds were very well maintained, and for myself I enjoyed the well equipped gym. I arranged a private dinner on the beach, where we were personally escorted to our table in a Cabana and waited on exclusively. What an great experience. All around an excellent experience, I would definitely recommend it to any couple who wishes some private time and be treated like adults.

Nice hotel , food was good. Large hotel but everything was within walking distance . Wifi was very spotty. Some of the more popular foods at buffet were not replenished often enough. A la cartes were very good
