JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: It's Grand at Iberostar Grand Bavaro

This was our third time at the Grand, at it was every bit as good as the first and second time. The rooms are all facing the water, so it's hard to get a bad room. However, some are better than others in terms of views of the ocean. The food is first class and the staff are amazing. The overall atmosphere is very conducive to total relaxation. The only real problem with the resort is that 7 days goes by much faster than any other resort I have ever been to. But, I will be back.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Amazing value

Great entertainment (Joselito) and bar staff (Kennedy & Tony)! Beach is good, rooms are ok but a little dated, food is pretty good and nightly entertainment. There is a dance bar next door if you're looking for somewhere close. Look forward to visiting again! Excellent value!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Staff, Great area.

I went on this trip with my girlfriend. We are 25 and 23 years of age. We stayed on the beach side as we were on a budget and it sure didnt feel like we were on a budget. The grounds were great. There was 3 or 4 different restaurants. All featured a buffet for your sides and you were ordering ur main ela cart. Main Buffet had THE BEST OMELETTES for breakfast. Busy most nights. Avoid the peddlers to the right of the beach. They just want to sell you drugs. Although if you get a group together of a few people walk down there too Alex's Motivational Bar. Really neat. Hes super friendly and really appreciates your business.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great place for a group

Went with a group of 6 people. Great time all around. Lot's of food variety which is great when travelling in groups. The swim up bars are a little small but the pool is great. Highly recommend the ocean views

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fabulous Time, Gorgeous Resort!

The hotel was gorgeous, very clean, friendly staff, the a la cart restaurants were fabulous. Beach was clean and lots of room and chairs. The room was exactly as seen on the internet, very clean but agree the bed was hard... we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others to holiday at this resort and I would come back :)

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Great Resort For The Money

We were two family's who went to this resort in April of 2013. We have been to several 4 and 5 star resorts over the years and this 4 star resort is no better or no worse than most 4 stars. As with most resorts in the Punta Cana area the staff were great and the beach and pool were beautiful. The buffets which are open air were good as well but as usual we found the buffet format tiring by day 6. This is a busy resort so the towel game is definitely in play here. The only gripe I would have is t [... read more]he beach buffet in that it was really busy between 12 and 2 pm so if you want a seat for lunch avoid those times. The sister resorts beach buffet is smaller but we had no problem getting a seat at noon over there. If you are reading reviews on this resort and you are finding bad ones ignore them. As in most reviews of the better resorts there is always something to complain about but this is a resort you cant go wrong .

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Fun in the Sun!

Iberostar resorts never disappoint in that they are very clean, well appointed and offer the best of everything possible. The on-room balconies, coffeemakers and daily stocked mini-bar fridges are a nice touch. Overall the staff went above and beyond to fill any need that we may have had. This resort is also close to the city so that you can easily explore Dominican culture. A great get away for families and couples.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Fantastic Week!

Our stay at the Iberostar was great! The hotel is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and responsible. Infinity pool with clean recliner chairs. There is also a lazy river that you can go around.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: One of the best places I have stayed !!

The place is beautiful with a staff that was very freindly and helpful. With a concerige at each block , any amenities you needed were easily come by. all the food ate every resturant was great. the beach bar, beach food were good and the cooking on the beach was a fun treat. Lots of choices for pools and the beach close by. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Iberostar Cancun kids club a disaster

As much as I liked Iberostar hotel i would not rrecommend it for family with small kids. The kids club had only one !!!! adult supervising all activities. Pool,beach etc. If one kid needed to be reunited with the parent the One adult supervised would leave the other kids ...in pool!!!!...and go to find mommy/daddy. That is a disaster waiting to happen. Other 4 star hotels ,and we have been in quite a few,have a device that is given to parents when they sign in their kids,so when the child is loo [... read more]king for mommy/daddy the device signals and parent can go and get the child. And all had more staff in kids club. All bars,restaurant ,polls etc had plenty of staff. Only kidsclub was understaffed!!!! Ican't understand why the management is so negligent about the kids safety. I would not compromise my kids safety in exchange for food and drinks. However it seems that iberostar Cancun does exactly that. Even with great food,pool,beach and room, I can not rate it 4 star.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: FANTASTIC !!!!

Dispel the rumours about Cuban food. This resort competes with the best in the world. I would go back in a minute. Service, beaches, and overall resort cleanliness was top notch. Never a dull moment!!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful Stay

The beach and surrounding views were beautiful however I do have to comment on the hotel rooms themselves. Since we didn't spend much time in them it didn't bother us but one of the flush buttons on the toilet didn't work and the breaker was blown. Therefore the T.V and the mini fridge didn't work. We got it fixed however!:) The locals are beyond nice and the workers were hilarious!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Kick your shoes off !

I have traveled all over the Caribbean and this hotel is one of the best over all i have ever been to. It was kept so clean i could eat off the floor ! The bathrooms were fresh and clean. The staff was wonderful and very help full. The food was full of flavor.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great resort.

Spent a week in Feb and loved it. Grounds were impeccable, staff courteous, friendly and efficient. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Lots of food choice at the buffets, and no problem getting reservations at the specialty restaurants. Also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. Beach and pools were great, and felt very safe on the resort. Will definitely return.

Professional service makes you feel like home. Composition of professionalism and politeness looks like close friendship. Meantime, management structure is in need to be modified; in same issues more power should be delegated to low structures.

Hotel Mojito: Not Impressed

The beach was nice & the resort has potential but I'm being generous by giving a 3 rating. There was a different problem with our room every day, including water leaking thru our ceiling, door handle falling off, no hot water & poor A/C. There was very little variety with the meals. They had one wonderful dinner by the pool one night that we quite enjoyed. We ate in the buffet most nights because there was only one a la carte rest. & it was booked full most nights. Iberostar Selection Cancun: Amazing Resort

Rooms, pool, service, Hotel, great. Front door man helped me when my phone went dead and I needed to make very important call. I asked for a cab to go and buy a new phone. He gave me his instead. I made my call and all was good. That is great service for me. Above and beyond I was so impressed by his kindness in helping me at a very important moment.

everything was extremely delightful. This was probably the best resort for frirndliness and cleanliness that we have stayed at so far. I would recommend this resort to my friends and have done so already

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing resort

Everything was great. Amenities, room, staff. We were a group on this vacation. I don't know how the staff remembers everyone's name. Very friendly. The food was fantastic. The bbq on the beach was unbelievable. Quite the spread. My husband and I were very disappointed with the beach, lots of rocks as you're walking into the water. Had to wear my water shoes to get into the water. It was nice and sandy once in. Therefore I am rating the beach/pools a three. The pool was gorgeous. The section for [... read more] ratings should be separate for the beach and pool. I was in the pool only to take advantage of the aqua size session. The pool was excellent.
