Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Great Resort
Great value close to downtown, close to shopping. Airport is 10 min bus ride away. Resort has its own private island short boat ride away. Casino offers $10 free slot play for new members. Nice high end shopping mall on resort.
Tamarijn Beach Resort: Great Beach, friendly staff!
Here's my review: - beaches. The beach at the tamarijn has a lot of rocks but with swim shoes, you're fine. You can also take a 5min walk to the beach at the Divi resort where the beach is beautiful. - the food: the food is good, not 5* but still pretty good. You have access to the buffet at the Divi so if you don't mind the walk or the shuttle ride, food is better there. The A la Carte restaurants are good but not great... - the room: small but clean. Small downside: hot water takes forever... [... read more]
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Such an amazing Honeymoon!
My husband and I had the best honeymoon. The resort was absolutely stunning, the private island was gorgeous, and the staff and food at every restaurant was simply superb!!! We have already decided we will be coming back again soon!!!
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Beautiful resort, perfect location
The Renaissance is in the perfect location for us, right in the heart of the city, wide selection of great restaurants all within a short walk. The rental car from Windward Rentals was great, we toured the entire island and took hundreds of pictures both of the traditional touristy type but also of personal interest to us of the local people and surroundings. Although my wife's home is Nassau, we found Aruba to be extremely friendly and welcoming, everyone exercises respectful rules of the road [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Very nice resort!
The resort was clean and the grounds well maintained. The food was very good as was the selection and choices. Service was excellent and staff friendly. There were plenty of chairs by the pool and on the beach.
Eagle Aruba Resort and Casino: My husband and I love the resort, well kept
Quiet, huge room with kitchen and living room, supermarket nearby, pool very clean, friendly staffs, especially the 3 ladies at double down restaurant (Joan, Jazmin & Julaneta) if given a chance definitely we will go back. I will recommend this to our friends & family.
Riu Palace Antillas: Fabulous First Time!
The hotel was not too far from the airport and close to a few bar/resto/shops. It was a beautiful hotel everything was really close by and very clean! We loved all the dinner restos and the buffets were great too! As a picky eater I always worry a little but there was no need. From check in to check out the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Their English was phenomenal for an island which was so nice! The drinks were great too :) love the bartenders! The activity staff were a lot o [... read more]
Tamarijn Beach Resort: Worth every penny for the beach front rooms!
Loved everything about this resort except that the nightlife was a little dull. We stayed for our honeymoon and lived the fact that we opened our patio doors and were 10 steps from the beach. The food was ok, buffet wasn't very good and steer clear of the paparazzi restaurant. The ginger a la carte was amazing and the red parrot at the Divi even more so! A tad rocky so bring beach shoes if you'll be in the water a lot. We didn't step foot in a pool all week. Drinks were delicious and they surely [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Good Resort
Overall The RIU Antillas is a good resort, this resort is currently being refreshed to meet RIU Standards. I have stayed in many RIU resorts over the last few years, this has always been my choice of hotels. I would have liked a bit more sinage on arrival, as I had to ask where the buffets and nightly entertainment was. The grounds was ok, as construction is underway to the adjacent hotel, public areas is clean, my room was ok, on arrival the entry floor/carpet was wet from cleaning ... I had to [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: disappointed with Riu
I was an avid fan of the Riu chain. Until this past year where I stayed at the Riu antillas and riu bahamas...the resort was under construction non stop jack hammer all day and night ...ask to speak to hotel manger and was no where to be found all week. I would not recommend riu chains after this stay even tho I was in love with the chain prior. Davin Jaisaree
Eagle Aruba Resort and Casino: Wonderful resort for a laid back holiday.
Loved the beach, the pools, the weather, friendly staff and absolutely charming bell hops. This is not a place where you want the amenities that go with a 4 or 5 star resort. However, it was clean and met our requirements perfectly.
Barcelo Aruba: Resort Required Updating
Staff was friendly, food was good. Pool & Beach was very crowded. Pool area was "tired" and needs an upgrade to compete with surrounding beach hotels. Drinks were pre-mixed flavoured rather than fresh blended fruit.
Riu Palace Antillas: All inclusive resort at its best
Great location on palm beach. Pristine lawns and white powdery sand beach. Nothing else but sand; no sea shells nor seaweeds. It's unbelievable. You can run barefooted without worrying about hurting your feet. Best buffet I have ever encounter. Succulent duck, filet mignon, beef wellington among hundreds of other delectable offerings. Close to shopping and entertainment district. You can feel the energy and excitement. No rain; just gorgeous weather
Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort: Beautiful Hotel
The Radisson was a beautiful resort, friendly staff, great food, beautiful pools, wonderful beach, great weather, clean rooms, robes were cozy to wear, AC was a bit noisy, rooms were big, beds were so comfortable, pillows too, only complaint was that we didn't get a king bed, I booked this trip in Oct. management wanted to move us the next day but to a lower floor, the lower floors don't have a great view of ocean so we declined. Were married 43 years so we just kept our two doubles. I've been t [... read more]
Riu Palace Aruba: Beautiful resort! Clean, safe and very pretty!
The grounds were clean and very inviting, the food was great no matter where we ate! We loved all the tropical drinks and the service was prompt and very attentive! We also loved our nightly walk into town...we felt very safe.
Riu Palace Antillas: Great resort!!!
Excellent food. Lots of seafood. The buffet have better food and choices than the a la cart. The Mexican restaurant were not good at all. Staffs are very friendly. The beach was clean and the ocean was beautiful. The bar pool was dirty, seems like someone spill their drinks in it.
Tamarijn Beach Resort: Dissappointed
Read all reviews prior.. Staff friendly except for a few at front desk that truly couldn't care less. Not stocking fridge one thing but unable to get bottled water... I know you can drink their water but hard to transport it on day trip etc! They have it just won't give it out! Did without luxury room but shower cold 6 of 7 days!! Buffet ok but for Aruba.... Pathetic..frozen drinks really bad.... Had to ask them to throw in a banana to make them drinkable.. Which they did...beer good. Beach as e [... read more]
Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort: The best
We have stayed at many high rise hotels in Aruba but no where beats Bucuti! We are going back for a third time it is the best!Owners on site and very friendly staff. Elements restaurant was great for breakfast and the most pristine beach with non smoking.
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Excellent location
The hotel is situated right downtown. The private island is great. I'm not a fan of the all inclusive process of signing for everything. Don't know why they can't give you a wrist band like any other all inclusive resort does
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Renisance
Excellent bar none this was one of the best resorts we've been to . The staff in this resort were excellent we couldn't of asked for more and if we did they would've probably given it to us . Thank you very much we will return.
