Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort!

The Ambar is beautiful resort! The grounds are meticulously maintained. The pool is crystal clear and the beach is easily accessed. The rooms are very clean with all the amenities you would expect. The buffet andvthe A la Carte's are excellent. And the sraff are all wonderful, pleasant and hard working. And of course, Nicole Deforest from tripcentral.ca was a pleasure to book with! I would gladly return.

We love this resort .. our second time. fabulous ! service was great, very clean, staff so friendly and work so hard. Wish there was more shade but the staff were very helpful to find some. The beach and ocean water were the best ever!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Almost Luxury

Better than average resort, stuff is nice and polite, needs some maintenance around room amenities, but not yet outdated. Overall great experience, been there twice, as I said not quite luxury, for the price. Room TV reception is terrible and outdated.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Terrible resort

We asked for 3 individual ocean view rooms, never got it, all 3 rooms faced a very loud service road, this resort is not near the beach, you have to take a shuttle to and from, only one swim up pool bar, all restaurants were very far apart and split amount 4 resorts and you had to shuttle to them, not fun after drinking all day, buffet food was left overs from the day prior, not enough pool side chairs at all and umbrellas, we do not recommend this resort, barrcello never again.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: AQUAMARINE NOT A 5*

Our two-week stay was marred by the buffet's lack of variety, with identical offerings throughout. In contrast, Turquoisa and Grand Bahia had theme nights, outstanding buffet cuisine, and a wide selection. The a la carte restaurants were truly exceptional, warranting their 5-star rating, while room service was impressive. Miss Yaneiri maintained our room's cleanliness to a high standard. We experienced service desk issues, including a two missed water delivery. The resort's grounds were beautifully maintained, and entertainment options were enjoyable. Notably, we discovered transportation to the a la carte restaurants was available during our second week. Given our nine previous visits, we expected Aquamarine to surpass Turquoisa and Grand Bahia, considering the price paid.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing service and amazing beach!

The service at Esmeralda was the best I’ve seen at any all inclusive - top notch! The beach was also amazing, beautiful sand and comfortable ocean floor (no rocks everywhere where you had to wear sandals).

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

The hotel was very good. The staff were good and courteous. The Food was comforting. The entire resort was clean and tidy. I will recommend this resort to anyone. I just think the room is a bit dated and required some sprucing up to make it more modern.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: 3.5 stars - poor a la carte restaurant system, rooms need updating and cart service could be improved

Pros: a lot of restaurants to choose from if booked at Akumal luxury resort staff was 99% great and friendly smaller 3 story complexes which makes it more quiet in rooms a/c worked great in our room kids waterslides at Coba resort great for kids 3-12 decent amount of shade and trees throughout a good part of property room service can be done through app and arrives within 40 minutes night entertainment, especially music, very good for family to enjoy local music/bands we had a lot of ch [... read more]oice of fruits at buffets and even a gluten free bread option available Cons: even though a la carte restaurant offers a lot of choice, if you aren't aware you can book 10 days before your arrival, you will have a lot of trouble finding a restaurant to book which then disappoints paying the extra cash to stay at Akumal versus other properties as Akumal is only one giving you 1 a la carte reservation per night while other resorts (Coba and Tulum) offer 2 reservations per week a la carte restaurants show as full on app but between 17:30-19:00 often just 20-30 people out of capacity of 100+. We were told this is because people don't cancel their reservations which sounds like bs as I don't see 80% of people not cancelling there reservations. We were told you can take a chance at a restaurant and walk in and see if the hostess will allow you or you can ask customer experience (desk near lobby) to see if they can work some magic. Still inconvenient when you pay extra for a la carte. Big miss here for a la carte restaurant reservations. the cart service to travel can be good but if you go to Tulum resort, expect to wait 15 minutes for a cart to get back to Akumal or Coba resort can be a lot of walking if you aren't able to catch a cart to drive you which isn't ideal with smaller kids heard a lot of complaints about beach being rocky can get some waiters in a la carte restaurants who disappear for a while which makes dining experience longer than it should be our bathroom was dated. mirrors were stained and tub/shower was needing some uplift. beds were hard and pillows we had a lot but all worn out were your head just goes right through it For Akumal luxury resort, I give this a 3.5 stars due to extra money you pay for a la carte reservations which you are entitled to 1 per night versus 2 per week at other properties at resort. If you can't get in restaurants, why pay more? Also the cart service can be an issue depending where you want to go. Rooms need some updating.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: we loved it

Nicely laid out grounds, lots of stairs climbing practice - we did not mind - for good exercise. The resort has some style - hopefully Bahia will keep it up if renovations are being planned. Good room service and good food. We will likely come again to this location.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: very good family resort, not good for parties lovers

Resort is not very big but very well organized. One huge restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food selection is amazing - fish , meats, fruits. Everything is fresh and tasty. There is also snack bar on a beach which is OK. A la carte restaurants I would not recommend, food is OK but in general it is just a waste of time. Beach is amazing. Nice sandy beach with lots of chairs and shady spots. Beach is quite long for this size of resort, never looks crowded. You can do snorkelling right on [... read more] the beach. For kids they have kids club and nice waterpark Night entertainment is pretty limited but generally it is OK . As a negative, I can admit only poor internet connection in rooms. Weak signal on a beach. For good connection you should stay in a lobby or in restaurant.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent Resort

The resort was beautiful with plants and flowers along all the walking paths. Amazing dining experience in all of the a la carte that we visited and great buffet too! Pools and beach great. We enjoyed them all. We would definitely return to this resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful resort

Very clean, the food was excellent. The pool and deck were cleaned and scrubbed every day. The staff were very friendly and were accommodating to our needs. The only issue I had was getting around. I have issues walking and our room was a good walk to the restaurants. It would have been great to have a room closer to them. The beach is ok but we spent most of our ti.e at the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Amazing Samana Resort!

- Beautiful accommodations! - Excellent Buffet and a la carte restaurants. I'm celiac and had no problems finding gluten-free food. - Lots of shaded areas at the beach - Great pool area. Both the pool and beach are in close proximity to the accommodations. - Excellent entertainment and activities. -We went on one excursion to the National Park and had a great time. -Yoga in the morning on the beach with Jairo was a 10/10. Great way to start your day!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda in Punta Cana, and I have to say, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway. The same issue happened when ordering a Pepsi at lunch—you really want it with your meal, not after you’ve nearly finished eating. Overall, we had a wonderful time soaking up the sun and taking in the beautiful surroundings, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. It’s a solid spot for a laid-back vacation, despite a few minor hiccups with service.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Pleasant Resort

Overall quite satisfied with the stay. The resort is big but there are trolleys that follow a bus route to help you get around. The entertainment is frequent and nice. The only complaint is that walk/ride to the beach goes through an area that often smells bad (maybe the waste treatment place for the hotel?). Our room also had weird vibes and I had nightmares every night but otherwise the resort was good

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great stay, especially for food allergies

Hotel was great, but particularly the food allergy situation. The staff went above and beyond ensuring there was something to eat at every meal, no matter where we ate. As a partner to someone with many complex allergies, this made our vacation seamless.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great 2 weeks

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Bougainville. The weather was great, the sun was shining and the people are wonderful. Rooms- Our room was spacious and well maintained. No problems with water pressure or temperature, no bugs and the mini fridge was always re-stocked daily. The woman who cleaned our room did a fantastic job everyday. Beach- The beach isn’t the greatest but we have no problem with it. We sat on the beach close to where the Jacuzzi bar is. Both of them always had a smile on their faces and were very friendly and joked around with us after they got to know us a little. Thank You both. Leida, mi amiga, was sometimes the bartender and sometimes server on the beach as well. What a great person. Always happy and smiling and joking. My wife really got along well with her. I don’t think I ever saw her with a frown even when the bar was crowded. Thank you Leida. Marcio was the bartender at the Jacuzzi bar and he could make whatever you wanted. He too was always smiling and talking to all the customers like he’s known them forever. We don’t spend a lot of time at the pool, so I can’t really comment on the bartenders there, but the bar is always crowded and everyone’s having a great time so they must be great too. Entertainment- The entertainment crew were great. Always doing something and getting the guests to take part either at the pool or at the nightly entertainment. Food- The food is good everywhere. We ate mostly at the buffet and they had great choices everyday. They had a different theme daily. Breakfast and supper were at Las Dalias Buffet. Joaquin Rosario, Cesar A. and Maria (Fidel LOL) C. were always there and took care of water, drinks, wine or cleanup. They were always joking with the guests and made us feel welcome with their great smiles. These are just the names I got, but all the other workers in the buffets were just as nice. We ate at 2 A-La-Cartes, Don Pablo and the Italian restaurant, and actually preferred the buffet. Being on the Bougainville side, getting a reservation for the Italian restaurant is almost impossible, since it’s on the Grand side. We talked to guest services 3 times trying to get in and finally talked to Madelin at Guest Services. She told us we could have reservations at 9:00 P.M. but that was too late, so we told her to forget about it and walked away a little peeved. Little did we know she kept working for us and met us outside the lunch buffet a couple of days later and told us she got us a reservation at 6:15. We were very grateful for that and knowing that she didn’t just forget about us. Muchas Gracias Madelin. Before going for supper, we always stopped at the Palmira Bar, near the lobby, for a cocktail. Ruben is the bartender there and he’s very good at his craft. Desire and Yajaira are great. After about 3 days, we just had to go sit down at our favourite table and the order came without having to ask. They were very friendly and we got to know them a lot better over the 2 weeks. Great people. Thank you very much ladies. All in all, a very good holiday thanks to the people mentioned, and everyone at the resort. If you’re looking for a beautiful beach and the turquoise blue water, then it’s probably not the place for you, but you won’t get a better experience or better service that you will get there.

We are repeat clients of this resort. We find the grounds are lush and well maintained. The rooms are great and provide everything you need. Foods is always good and the staff are carefully curated and are all accommodating and friendly. We have always felt very safe here. We are hoping to return in the future to this special place

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Nice vacation

Nice location, the room were clean, the staff was friendly. Julito at the hibiscus bar was the best. The water for the shower was too cold. Never had a day with a warm shower. Some fish and meat were overcooked.(roasted salmon on its skin at el pescador and pollo a la parmesana at the Il Capriccio) Once our door was left open after room service.
