Grand Oasis Riviera: Had a very nice time Tulum!

Hotel was very Mexican, Oscar was the drink maestro! And Noeli made the best morning coffees! Lots of sun! Great beach and friendly staff, Tulum is a very special place. Kids had lots to do with so many activities close by if that's the type of vacation you're looking for you can't beat the location.

Grand Oasis Palm: Disappointment

too many people for the space..impersonnal..not enought elevator....very noisy at night in the corridor:-(beach was so so........service was good..we love the pool and the shows but needs to be outside iy would be better......the sushi bar was amazing.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: Great experience

Food, service and landscape was great. Wonderful time. Water is extremely blue in the ocean and a barricade provided to break the waves and keep the sea erchents out. The buffet was delicious. A la carte s were slow in service but still good.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: A good starter resort.

Beach and pools were great. Food was very good. Grounds were kept well. Rooms need to improve. Repairs need to be done. Need to renovate main building rooms. Repairs need to be done to washrooms around the resort.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: Good Hotel.

Average accommodation (some well below average); Good food and fast service. Excellent entertainment. Rather short beach. Not enough beach cots to go around. Very good bar service. Staff very helpful and polite.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: Great place for a reasonable price

We had a great time. The pools are nice and clean. The beach is very kids friendly. Service is great. Good air conditioned and hot water in the showers. Pretty good food. Excellent place for families with young kids.

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Dissappointed

This hotel was given great reviews and that is why we chose to go to this resort. I am sorry to say we did not think the service so great. It seemed they wanted a tip before they gave you good service instead of after.I have to say some were the exception and were very friendly but most were just there to do a job. We found that the entertainment was nor well advertised if you happened to stumble on it you got to see it . They could have had it posted for people to know what was going on and whe [... read more]re it would be held , by the dinning room where all could see it. the only information broad was tucked away where very few people would ever find it ,and things that were supposed to happen at certain times were many times just forgotten about or late or did not take place at all. We were there for two weeks and were sorry we booked for two. This is at least 15 times we have made Cuba our destination and the only hotel we would not care to go back to. The food though plentiful was very much the same day after day, very bland, hamburgers under cooked, no dressing for salads only mayonaise sitting in the sun for hours. Pasta at night was the only thing that was hot and had very little flavor in the sauce,more like tomato soup.Desserts were the same everyday many cakes all burnt on the bottom and all tasted the same sweet but no flavor.There was two occasions where the food was different and much better variety and that was when the V.I .P`S were there. This hotel could do much better if they brought in a good chef and some one who could do desserts . And if they trained their staff to be more helpful they could be tipped more generously

The Sens Cancun: Great resort

This resort was very clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Jimmy at the Canteena Bar (super guy). The rooms were a bit dated but clean and everything worked. The food was good overall but we never tried any Alacartes. The biggest draw back was no Balcony's but we new that going in.

The Sens Cancun: incredible beauty

This resort is in a beautiful setting surrounded by surf and sand. The food was good and we never went hungry with lots of selection from both traditional Mexican and international food choices. The staff was amazing especially Jimmy the bartender at the Cantina. He was always quick of fill our bubbas and was always smiling and happy. We recommend the Captain Hook pirate dinner and show cruise. The boat looks like an authentic pirate ship and both the food and entertainment were great. Charlie w [... read more]as our pirate server onboard and he was awesome. He always made sure we had a full beer and that we were satisfied with the entire experience. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great getaway on a very friendly intimate resort. The resort size was perfect for our group of 8, we never had to wait in long lines for the buffet and we could always get a lounge chair at the pool or on the beach. Overall a great place with lots of local shopping malls and flea markets. Its only a buck to take the bus downtown to shop and there are lots of stores and booths to cruise through. We even found a Harley Davidson dealership to increase our tshirt collections, LOL.

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Great small resort

We stayed at Las Morelas for a week.in February 2015. It was a great stay. The resort is small which we really liked. We have stayed at larger resorts that we found just to big. The food was really good. Lots of choices at the buffet. The grounds and pool of the hotel were kept clean. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was decent for Cuba standards. Nothing spectacular but always clean. Overall the hotel had a calm relaxed atmosphere. A good place for adults and familie [... read more]s looking to unwind and not party all night. There are other hotels on the strip for that.

Grand Oasis Sens: be sure to take advantage of all amenities!!!

Grand Oasis Palm: Amazing Value!

This hotel rose high above our expectations for the price, with pristine marble floors and waiters who bent over backwards to get us exactly what we wanted from an array of gourmet food. Yet it still kept the old world charm of an exotic foreign country, with mostly spanish speaking staff, ethnic food there for us to try and a mariachi band around the pool at night while we browsed the local artisans they brought in every evening. Oasis Tulum: Horrible resort

not a nice resort at all , room was worst I've seen , AC dripped on floor , mold all in bathroom , not beverages in fridge , bottled water not available , shower drain plugged ( never fixed ) no hot water one day . pool ok , beach was ok ! had to pay for room safe !!! don't do this resort , save your money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brisas Del Caribe: needs changes....

In renovation stages, has its downfalls, pina coladas r excellent....the food is what it is...their culture. I have stayed there 4 times & has a great beach. In spite of renovations it is not a dive...3 & half ***

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Would return

We just returned form a week in Varadero staying with my husband and two sisters at this time. The place was beautifully laid out, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. rooms were clean and well maintained Entertainment was ok . We had a great vacation

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: disappointed, but tried to enjoy myself anyway

I was disappointed with our room. It had a very old shabby sofa, faded old wicker chair and two small beds. It is very different then the photos on the website. The service wasn't great. Food was probably the best part. Weather was great.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: Beautiful location, terrible accomodations

Any place on the ocean is beautiful to me, but the Be Live Hotel in Boca Chica failed miserably. Out dated, run down, broken, with filthy rooms and smells. Food was always cold. Some of the "huts" and grounds were beautiful though. The staff did the best they could.

Grand Oasis Palm: overbooked??

The Resort itself is well kept. The Staff go beyond to keep the sparkle alive. Unfortunately when you arrive at 1:30 am and are told that your room is not available because they overbooked... Not acceptable, especially since they did the same to about 20 others who booked all inclusive. We were sent to an inferior hotel in the chain, downtown and no beach. We were hoping that it was a one time incident, and an actual error on someones booking process, but when our friends arrived the next night  [... read more]and heard a simular story and were relocated to a inferior hotel within their chain it was obvious that this was not a one time incident but reoccurring. The taxi drivers stated that this is a regular occurance with this chain of resorts. I have never written a bad review of any vacation resort that Ive been to, But I can truely say the I, nor my other 3 travelling couples will ever stay at another oasis resort due to the poor management of this one resort.

Brisas Del Caribe: No complaints

Hotel is average, but is currently undergoing lots of renovations, in a year this hotel is going to be gorgeous and quite possibly up it's star rating. Food is alright, bland Cuban food buffet - not sure that anyone goes to Cuba for the food anyways, A la cartes were better - tried 3 out of 4, our favorite was the international. Beach is nice, we didn't have to wait long for chairs, the coast is windy though red flags were up 5 out of the 7 days we were there. Room was average and quiet, stayed  [... read more]on the south side - which I'm told is bigger than the north side rooms. Everything in the room worked, no complaints. Pools were nice, not busy at all. Entertainment was good, watched a few shows at the outdoor theater, some shows out on the terrace and enjoyed the piano bar and jazz night. Service is good, mostly everyone was very friendly, except for one waiter at the Tainos Cafeteria who obviously doesn't like his job. Drinks were great and rum flows better than water there! Location of hotel is great as it is right in the middle of the peninsula, not far to go to either end. Did 4 excursions and booked them through the hotel, all were fantastic, recommend Catamaran Cruise to Cayo Blanco and the Jeep Safari as they include many activities. Havana special was a great time, but long day, the Tropicana show only starts at 10pm until midnight, then a 2.5hr bus ride back. We would go back, great value for money (however we booked only a week before going).

Brisas Del Caribe: Rooms are not great

The beach was amazing and the best part of this resort. The rooms are run down and have many issues. I changed rooms once and friends had to change 3 times. The resort is renovating and updating rooms, lobby and walkways. The lobby coffee bar was great.
