Riu Republica: Good Facility - Mediocre Service

This resort had a very good variety of services. The room looked a bit dated and needed some real attention when it came to the washroom and air conditioner. I would not say requests for missing towels and blankets were looked after in a timely manner. For the majority of our time there we cleaned our own table at the buffet before using it. Beverages were slow in coming or didn’t come at all. We mostly looked after ourself. The pools were great. The awnings at some locations needed replaci [... read more]ng. Some of the items on the menu at the restaurants were not as advertised. The Japanese restaurant was our favourite.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort!

This is a very nice resort. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Maid service was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed all the different activities and the large pools and of course the beach. Would book this place again

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Amazing Resort!

Absolutely no complaints about Breathless Punta Cana. Far exceeding our expectations. The food is delicious and a wide variety of options. The resort is very clean. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is quiet and serene if you like peaceful vibes. The pools are more high tempo if that’s your thing. There is something for everyone at Breathless Punta Cana

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Beautiful Location and Resort

Interesting activities on site. The specialty restaurants are difficult to book for a decent hour. We prefer not to eat after 9 pm. We were not impressed by the Italian restaurant, the food was minimal and not very good.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great vacation destination

Beautiful pool, beach and grounds. Nice spacious, well appointed rooms. Good food and nice choice of restaurants. Super service and cleaning staff. Entertainment was ok. Room service available at all times.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

What a beautiful resort!! The grounds were gorgeous as well as the beach. The pools were clean. Upon our arrival we asked to be upgraded and Enmanuel at check in was able to complete the upgrade. Our butler Rafael greeted us in the lounge, explained areas of the resort. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Fabulous resort

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Majestic Elegance Resort. It is a beautiful, clean resort with amazing staff and terrific food. We upgraded to the Elegance Club and felt it was well worth it. We loved the Elegance Club adult only quiet pool and the exclusive ala carte breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as the Elegance Club lounges and coffee shop. I can’t say enough about the staff. He will need your Air Canada booking number ( usually starts with 235…) in order to give you the airport shuttle pick up time the day before departure. Having travelled at least twice a year since 2020, this was new to many of us. We had previously just looked at the binder in the lobby for this information. Don’t hesitate to book this resort. It’s fabulous and only a half hour away from the airport.

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept, the restaurants are spotless and the food was great. The beach is not the best, it's rocky and lots of seaweed. Lots of games set up on the grass. We were Preferred Club and it was great. Very safe area in Cap Cana. Security to let you into the area, and security to let you into your resort.

The grounds and the hotel is beautiful. Very well kept. The people from check in- to the vibeteam to everyone works there are very friendly and very welcoming. I love the DR, its my favorite place to visit. My husband and I got married i the DR 3 years ago at a different resort which we enjoyed as well but out of all the resorts i have visited in the DR, Jamaica and Cuba, this is my favorite resort so far. The only thing I wish is they had more things to do at night for the adults and also the people on the beach trying to sell things, they are very pushy. I know they are trying to make money but we are also there to enjoy a nice vacation.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Royalton Bavaro is an excellent stay

I loved it. Beautiful grounds, beach they had phenomenal shows each night. The food is good especially Zen Japanese. I absolutely love the lazy river as well. Loved the staff they are so helpful and friendly. Rosa our concierge. Franklin and Julio our bartenders. Reggie and Julio the excursion people were awesome. The shows were so good and they had one each night.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Decent trip

Overall we do have a good trip. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was stunning although a bit rough. Drinks at this resort were top notch. Made perfectly and massive variety. The food was just ok, typical resort food and nothing special. There are lots of pools but they do need maintenance, my daughter cut her foot at two different pools from broken drain as well as missing tiles causing sharp edges, also one of the pool lights was popped out of the hole and just floatin [... read more]g at the side of the pool with wires exposed. Water park was actually great and our kids had the best time there. That being said 5 out of 8 of our party did become sick with vomiting and diarrhea (which seems to be common at this resort from reading other reviews). Overall we did have a good trip however I would not visit this resort again nor would I personally recommend it. That being said if you have booked here I do think you will have a good time as long as you don’t get sick.

Paradisus Grand Cana: Great Modern Design

The suites are spacious and modern. The beach was amazing and service at the beach was fabulous. Thanks Jose for a wonderful experience. The food and restaurant reservation policy were a disappointment.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Fabulous Resort!

The grounds are absolutely stunning. The property, rooms, pools, and common areas are spotless and beautifully detailed. The food in Quimera and the A La Carte Restaurants is excellent. The buffet food is adequate. The shows are fabulous. The bars and drinks are superb! The staff is extremely kind and always willing to help. We foud a difference in check-in service because of the lack of butlers and concierges cannot do all that the past check-in staff plus butlers used to do. Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: beautiful Resort with all Amentities

Very clean, spacious rooms . Al acartes and buffet served a wide variety of good food. Coffee bar open 24 hours serving any kind of coffee imaginable hot or cold along with sandwiches ,baked goods ,fruit and,frosty treats. Enjoyed the live music daily especially the live band at the beach. Pools were clean and bar service great, buffet service was a little slow if waiting on chef to cook especially in the mornings.

Hubby and myself: both Seniors, recently spent 2 wks here. We booked thru Trip Central, Forest. Ont,; agent Karen G. Our third floor corner room had 2 balconies with ocean view and pool views. Our butler Laura was exceptional : helpful and prompt with our requests. All staff: friendly and hardworking. We enjoyed the following restaurants there: Dorado, Zen, Jade, Hunter Steakhouse and Grazie Italian Weather was stellar! Thanks Karen for arranging this marvellous trip!

The staff were very friendly always smiling or singing. The food was amazing always fresh, flavourful, with a variety of choices for everyone’s palate. The grounds were very well maintained. The pools were never overcrowded. The beach was beautiful the sand was clean there was some seaweed but not enough that you couldn’t enjoy the beach. The daily activities were very enjoyable and the entertainment staff do an amazing job to get everyone to participate. The nightly entertainment shows were awe [... read more]some. The only complaint we have was not getting the proper room when we arrived and after being told it would be corrected but never was. That is the only thing I have to say was disappointing. I would definitely return to this resort without hesitation. Also after meeting many other people who were on their 3rd or 4th or 14th time returning to this resort tells me that we are not the only ones who have the same opinion that The Majestic Colonial Resort is the place to be for your vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. It’s beautiful. When we checked in we were told we had a ground floor room. When we got there it was on the 3rd floor. I was to tired and hot to complain. So we stayed. It was not a renovated room and we had a leak from the ceiling in the hall, it got fixed and leaked again the next night. Until all the rooms get renovated I would ask for an upgraded room. Overall, it is a very nice resort.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Great Vacation

Spent a fabulous week at the Royalton Chic, Punta Cana. Lovely resort with well kept grounds, modern clean rooms with a comfortable bed and amazing shower, and very friendly staff. The food was top notch, with abundant variety and flavour included at the buffet and and specialty restaurants. The coffee shop became a daily stop for us offering a variety of muffins, fruits, sandwiches and ice cream as well as tasty coffee all served by a very friendly and lively young lady. The large pool was refr [... read more]eshing and the Vibe team encouraged participation in many fun activities. We especially enjoyed the Aqua Fit and Aqua Cycling. The nightly shows were entertaining. Our only recommendation would be to post the daily activities and times in a central location for guests to see.
