Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Great Family Vacation Resort

From the time we arrived we found the staff very respectful, friendly and accomodating. Our two Star Class Attendants/Butlers, Erik and Andy contacted us each day advising us of resort events and offering their assistance throughout the day. The staff at the various venues were efficient but not bothersome. Public areas including pools, restaurants and green areas were well maintained and clean. Our room was spacious and clean. We did not see any aggressive behavior or overly loud noise. Our grandchildren enjoyed the Dino water park, lazy river and the pools. Great resort for a family vacation

That was the third time we went there, and will go again. Their services are amazing, with Happy, nice, and friendly people. There are lots of activities and fun; the best place for family to rest and enjoy the environment.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Perfect for Everyone!

We had an incredible time at Planet Hollywood. As a large family group of 10 there was something for everyone to do. Our swim out suite was amazing and our vacation wouldn't have been as incredible had it not been for our butlers Roy and Oscar. They went above and beyond! They even surprised my son with a bucket of chocolate milk and m&Ms! We have been to many all inclusive resorts but all the staff here were so friendly and welcoming! My hubby planned a lovely romantic dinner on the beach with the help of our butlers and we also did the fast drivers experience, which was fun! There were 2 minor cons. I did feel that there were a number of experiences that required additional expenses. So if someone is looking for absolutely everything to be included that won't be the case. I also didn't like being roped into a 90 minute presentation for their Prime Vacation club. We were offered a number of gifts to simply attend but we did feel somewhat pressured. It wasn't the best way to spend the first day of our vacation. But generally we had a great time!

My time at the Royalton CHIC Cancun was truly exceptional—a memorable experience that exceeded my expectations. I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the resort. The hotel’s layout and design, the spaciousness of the rooms, the diverse culinary offerings from the various restaurants, the exemplary customer service, housekeeping, and breathtaking beach views all contributed to an outstanding stay. However, Royalton CHIC Cancun stands out as the best among them. When booking, I sought a resort close to the airport that offered a vibrant atmosphere with opportunities for relaxation without being far from the action. Royalton CHIC Cancun perfectly met these criteria. Thank you, Royalton, for such a wonderful experience. One suggestion that would have further enhanced my stay is the room service menu, particularly for lunch and dinner. It would be great to have the option to order from one of the resort’s restaurants or perhaps the buffet. While I wouldn’t expect the full menu, offering one or two items from a selected restaurant each day would be a significant enhancement. Thank you, Royalton.

Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe: Great resort

The rooms were great with regular room cleaning. All the restaurants served delicious meals. I wasn’t craving for home food throughout my stay. Wonderful customer service from all hotel staff. Loved my stay at Hilton Mar Caribe.

Haven Riviera Cancun: Best holiday destination for adults

The food choices were a great variety. Food was fresh, portion sizes were excellent and meal service was impeccable. App was easy to use to book reservations for dinners. Ocean front room was beautiful and spacious. Cleaning staff cleaned the room every day. Grounds were beautiful. Friendly staff, wonderful butler service with the Serenity Club upgrade. Lots of activities to choose from or you could simply sit at the pool all day and relax.

Haven Riviera Cancun: Would definitely go back

This resort is absolutely beautiful and the facilities are always so clean. But the food here was the highlight of the trip as every restaurant served delicious and high quality food. The only criticism I would give is I wish they did more day activities by the pool as most days it was just mainly the DJ playing music. The shows they had every night made up for it, super entertaining! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go back in the future.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort

Family trip to Mexico was an amazing experience , we stayed for one week at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres,everything about the resort was perfect .So well organized the staff is very friendly . The front of house, cleaning, landscaping, food/bar service staff, and party teams were all fantastic . I would strongly recomend this resort ,the beach was nice there was no seaweed as usually people complain about . Great time @Riu!

Oleo Cancun Playa: Awesome vacation

Resort was beyond beautiful but it was not typical 5 starts hotel. Few issues that other should be aware. First of all it's rocky beach and you can't swim. 2nd we stayed in third tower only one elevator worked. 3rd rooms most of the days were cleaned pretty late. I will definitely go back. I really enjoyed it.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Great beach

Beach was beautiful, hotel older, air conditioning broke down for a couple of days, Staff was great and supported us to find a different room and provided a fan. Food good service. Staff were great even without tipping.

Sandos Cancun: Good Resort

This is definitely a good 4 star resort. The food is good, not alot of option. Not fresh eggs for breakfast were unusual. The staff is pleasant but not as friendly as other resorts. The hotel seems dated and definitely needs some retoucheling.Ex ,the pool had a lot of broken tile ,but nothing that ruined my trip. The hotel room was very nice but had some smelly pillows. .

Dint thick this place was going to be as nice as it was. i usally go to sandals and this place was just as nice and better food was great and service was great to very friendly 5 star will be back. thank you for the great memories.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Lackluster and Catfished

Our recent stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations. From the outset, we encountered numerous issues that marred our experience. Firstly, room accommodations were a major concern. We were moved not once, but three times during our stay without much sympathy or apology. This disrupted our vacation and caused unnecessary inconvenience. Despite these inconveniences, no compensation (room upgrade) was offered, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. We  [... read more]did although receive 2 chocolate covered strawberries, 2 stale macarons and a bottle of sparkling white wine as a gesture to the inconvenience. The lack of empathy from the staff was particularly disheartening. Customer service representatives appeared dismissive and distracted when we raised our concerns, failing to provide satisfactory resolutions or even acknowledge the extent of our dissatisfaction. Another significant disappointment was the water quality and culinary offerings. The water, crucial for any resort experience, was subpar, affecting our ability to fully enjoy amenities such as in-room facilities. Additionally, the food quality was mediocre at best, with many dishes falling short of the expected standard for a 5-star resort. Most notably, several drinks tasted peculiar, resembling the flavor of soap rather than the advertised ingredients, which was highly disappointing. Despite these shortcomings, there were a few bright spots in our otherwise lackluster stay. Alejandra, the pool waitress, stood out for her exceptional service and attentiveness, making our poolside experiences very enjoyable. Her kindness helped to alleviate some of the resort shortcomings. Similarly, Wilbert, our waiter at Gusto Italian restaurant, provided exemplary service, demonstrating genuine care and professionalism that was sorely lacking elsewhere in the resort. In conclusion, while our stay at this resort had its moments of excellence thanks to individuals like Alejandra and Wilbert, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to frequent room changes, poor water quality, mediocre food, and disappointing customer service. For future guests, we hope these issues are addressed to ensure a more enjoyable and seamless stay.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Poor resort

Worst food ever. Worst service ever. Treatment of guests is atrocious. Half the time only 1 of 4 elevators was working the whole week. All inclusive package doesn't allow you to use adult only pool. They wanted extra $$. Beach is amazing just shame about the resort

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Stunning & Friendly Resort! Even with the hurricane

Amazing! We stayed at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres. We were a family of four with two teenage boys. I can't say enough about this beautiful paradise and its friendly staff. The layout of this hotel is stunning. Warm beaches, clean ocean, on the shore the sand looks like smooth paste and feels like sponge. There is a 24 hr buffet in the lobby lounge, 3 restaurants for dinner to choose from and a large buffet area - all delicious! and a beautiful stunning lounge. The hotel/beach/pools was a b [... read more]it overcrowded there were alot of people and many kids but plenty of food, chairs and beach chairs to go around. They also serve you drinks along the beaches and pools. We loved Pepes Food along the pool side it was our/my boys favourite since you get hungry fast. The hotels are very clean, free mini bar, service for hotel towels were always delivered promptly, Although, bring your own facial soap . All the workers serve you with friendly smiles. My husband and I were happy we had our own rooms and our boys were right in the next room, just close the door, turn and knock, everyone got their privacy. We arrived on June 27 and were supposed to depart on July 4, but we couldn't because of the approaching hurricane. Despite this, we were informed in the early afternoon that our flight was delayed and we were allowed to stay that day/night. The resort staff treated us wonderfully, allowing us to stay an extra day and a half. They continued to allow us access to all the restaurants, lounges, bars, desserts, coffee, internet, pools and beaches before the hurricane hit in the late evening to early morning July 4 & 5. The staff took every precaution to ensure our safety. They notified us about moving furniture in our rooms to block the sliding doors, informed us of the restaurant hours, and stationed security with sandbags in the hallways to prevent water from seeping into the rooms(we were on the first floor, no water came). They also worked incredibly hard to clear and remove all the pool and beach chairs, which was no small task given how many there were. We appreciated everything they did, we felt very safe and comfortable and we will definitely be going back in the future! Please do not forget to tip them, they work hard! We loved the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres. Thanks again!

Haven Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!!!

It was the best vacation we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the pool, the food the drinks and the service was immaculate. Highly recommend to others. Best resort I’ve ever been to. Cannot wait to go back again. Rooms were so clean, best room service! Thank you Jenn for helping us!

Haven Riviera Cancun: Not good

People were awesome just one detail someone came to visit me for the ni that I paid the night pass and went for dinner. Now they asked her to leave at 2 am in the middle of nowhere. I had to leave with her since this lady was a very good friend of mine. One thing to mention if you guys sell night passes make it as people can leave at a reasonable time for instance 6 or 7 am specially in the middle of nowhere since this place it’s like 30 mins away from Cancun downtown. Don’t wake people up at 1  [... read more]am and asked them to leave . Other than that the service and place look decent decent food. I don’t drink alcohol so I cannot review about the drinks. Thanks for asking me to leave at 2 am.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great vacation after 25 years hesitation

Beautiful and pricey suite , beautiful ocean front and jacuzzi , food was very good in the buffet , super in the Italian restaurant , and mild in the Mexican. We had more variety of enchiladas, tamales, tostadas Etc in Dallas million years ago. Good entertainment and Memorable vacation overall. Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Fantastic Experience!

Everything about this place was 5 stars. Amazing beach, amazing facilities, amazing food, amazing drinks and amazing service. Would recommend to anyone who wants the relaxing, luxurious Mexico experience, especially families and couples.

Riu Latino: A fantastic experience!

The resort was simply amazing. The room, buildings, and grounds were impeccable, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the food at the restaurants was superb, with lots of selection to meet everyone's tastes. The beach was absolutely spectacular, an endless stretch of white sand, and calm, turquoise waters. So happy there was no Sargassum on the beach. I would highly recommend this resort!
