Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Jewel Runaway Bay

We had the best vacation ever, from the beach, pools, food and the amazing staff the Runaway Bay was perfect. The new waterpark a bonus! Couldn't have had a better time. The resort is the perfect size for adults with older kids who want a little freedom without the worry. Our children enjoyed the many activities away from us but we were still able to locate in a matter of minutes.

Rooms On The Beach: Good resort

It was just what I was looking for quiet & relaxing right on the beach. Food at the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Close to town and restaurants. Age is starting show in the Rooms, especially the washrooms.

Catalonia Montego Bay: good resort

The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, food is excellent. Hotel is in need of an upgrade in the rooms. They are clean, but need to update the bathrooms.This is a very good resort for families with small children.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Awsome place for a vacation

Yes! A wonderful time and great accomodations. The expansion of the beach made the resort a lot more appealing. Wonderful staff who do all they can to keep you happy and very great food selection!!!!!

Riu Ocho Rios: simply amazing!!

This is a great resort....our vacation was amazing from start to finish!!!! The resort is so close to the best excursions and the staff was so friendly and there to please....you wont be dissapointed choosing this resort!!! The beach is long and beautiful!!! Ive stayed at a Sandals in Jamaica and Riu was much better in my opinion!!!!

Dreams Rose Hall: Fifth trip just as amazing!

This was our fifth trip to the hilton, seventh trip to Jamaica ☺️ We keep returning to this resort because of the amazing staff, comfy beds and delicious food! We look forward to returning every year and spending the week with staff we have gotten to know!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Worth every $

Everything was great at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. The Resort was clean with friendly staff. Food was amazing with lots of choices. We don't have any complaints. Hope to go back again some day.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great resort!!

the whole area is very clean, few selection of food but tasty, the only thing that we noticed, the staff are not that friendly and everyobody seems miserable and unhappy, expects to be given tip at all times.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Unforgettable experience

From the lobby, to the pool, restaurants, and ocean, this resort is the epitome of the "Jamaican Experience". Friendly people, delicious food, clean facilities, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding entertainment team. It is the star friends and staff that really gives this resort it's character. You can't go a day without a smile, which is a challenge I loved failing at :)

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Best vacation ever!

We went together with another couple to this fantastic resort for a week. Between us all, we have been to multiple Caribbean destinations, and between all four of us, we all agree that this resort has far exceeded our expectations. It had everything we hoped for and more. So friendly at attentive and worked so hard. The bar staff were extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and the drinks were creative and amazing! Everywhere we went was clean and things were maintained or in the process of being upgraded. The food was the best we have experienced at any resort. We never tired of the buffet but the a la cartes were an extra bonus and so good! The beach was ok but as per some reviews, it did have some seaweed. However the pool was overlooking the beach and we mostly hung out there. There is pretty good snorkeling right off the beach though so that was a nice surprise. We did an excursion to go snorkeling at the marine park and margaritaville. The next day we went to the luminous lagoon. A must see for sure! The joint excursion was excellent value and again great staff on the Dressel divers crew. All in all we had a fantastic week and while we like to explore new places, this is one we would definitely return to. I do not understand the negative reviews, this place is amazing!

Catalonia Montego Bay: We will definitely go again!

The pros: The price was right! The staff were all friendly, the food was very good, the resort itself was clean & well maintained. Has an adult pool & adult only beach area. Neat layout that allows a lot of quiet beach areas. And of course a large, family pool & beach area. Bonus: smoking is only allowed in designated areas, as it is a family friendly resort. Lots to do...a well equipped gym, shuffleboard, basketball court and great tennis courts with an AMAZING, talented, super friendly & helpf [... read more]ul tennis pro - Jermaine! The cons: You have to get up very early in the morning (or late at night!) to go and put towels down on loungers in the shady areas of the beach. This seems ridiculous, but as long as the hotel allows this, those travelers wanting/needing some shade have to do so. Note to Hotel Mgmt: Do NOT allow towels to be placed before 6 am (or 5?), and then enforce this! Take the towels that are put down before the specified time. This will stop the annoying and inconvenient practice. (The one night we stayed up late, we saw numerous towels down already - and it was only 11:30 pm!) Although the rooms were standard Caribbean/hotel rooms...king bed, desk/chair, sofa, bathroom, they did have a very large, open closet to hang your clothes and 4 large, deep drawers to put things away. Also lots of plugs to charge your e-toys (2 plugs on each side table lamp.) Wifi was free throughout the resort, although quicker in the am. Overall a very enjoyable, relaxing holiday!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: When the renos are done, this will be 5 stars

It was our second trip to this resort but we stayed on the hillside, not the seaside. The jack hammering was intrusive and downright awful at times. Other work includes painting and woodworking which of course are not really a big deal. If I had to do it again, I would go to the seaside. It's an individual thing, but I didn't find the butler service to be exceptional; we used it mostly to get around the resort which is not an issue if you are staying on the seaside. I suspect the renovations wi [... read more]ll be done by mid-May and it will look spectacular. The food is delightful; lots of healthy options, including for a Ceiliac. Top shelf liquor is available without extra charge (to an extent), you just have to ask for it. If you are looking for high-end wine, you will have to pay for that. If you are a golfer, bring your own clubs; you can play three times with a cart and caddy for $150 per person. Renting clubs is expensive though; approximately $50 per round. The golf course is about a 20 minute drive away and the shuttle goes every hour. If you are a quick player, you can get a round in 3 hours. (so, get up early, go play and be back on time for lunch and then beach/pool time) The beach is non-existent (almost) other than the Ochi Beach club which is really fun.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: An absolute beauty....

This resort is absolutely gorgeous. It is a 90 minute drive from the airport which to us was a fun ride but I noticed some people clearly had not done their research and were moaning and groaning about it. This is not the resorts fault, it is your own :) We stayed in the butler village which felt like a little home in the hill. The room was clean and we had a little patio to sit out on. There is definitely no shortage on places to eat. I liked that there wasn't a typical "all inclusive buffet" with mediocre food. All of our meals were amazing, but we didn't bother with the Japanese or French restaurant. When in Jamaica, we love caribbean food so we preferred dinner at the Manor. The portions aren't too big so you can try a lot of different things. At night there are a lot of things going on, loved the beach party and another night had a chocolate buffet party. If you go in with the mindset to have fun and enjoy yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Sandals Negril: Sooo relaxing :)

I cannot say enough about this resort.We have been South 3 times and this is the only resort we have been to.My saying is...'why mess with a good thing'.The staff is beyond amazing,friendly,accommodating,happy,and hard working,even the locals that hang out on the perimeter of the beach watched my belongings for me.The beach is not huge,but the area I lay in I have more than enough space,but the other area of the beach is slowly getting smaller.We only had one issue and that was the location of o [... read more]ur room which was by the dining room,so when the staff was getting ready for the day it was very noisy at 5 am(but we did not complain,we had a nice view).

Sandals South Coast: Sandals Whitehouse awesome

Other than the long drive from Mo Bay the vacation was fantastic. Amazing grounds. Super beach. Great food. Giuseppe's pizza everyday. Martini bar and fire tables were great atmosphere. Great diving. Sandals does it again.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Loved every minute of our stay

I have only good to say about all of this. I especially LOVED the pool as i am not a great swimmer. The excerise bikes in the pool was a great idea and i took advantage of those every day. All resorts should follow this. Beaches were ok, would recommend water shoes for sure.

Couples Negril: Most Amazing Resort ever...... Paradise

From the moment we stepped off the bus at couples until the moment we left, we felt at home. This resort was amazing. Very clean inside and out. The maids are constantly cleaning And the gardeners always raking. All the staff serving meals were very friendly and all the meals delicious. The bar tenders were top notch with their service. The water sports guys were absolutely hilarious and a joy to be around. The only complaint I would have is...... Vacation was to short hahaha, could have stayed  [... read more]forever. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing... But

The hotel was simply amazing. It was very clean, the service was excellent and the staff was super friendly and extremely polite. We were warmly invited to a sales presentation for the 'privilege club'. The presentation was awesome however the pressure sales tactics was very distasteful. Being pressured to spend $3000-$4000 while on vacation without given time to think about it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Couples Negril: All the pleasures of the Carribean.. Delivered!!

The resort was amazing! Facilities are everything you'll ever need. Food is VERY plentiful and very good, safe and secure... And the staff is top notch! Anything you need or want they are quick to help!!!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Always a perfect vacation!

We have just returned from our amazing vacation, celebrating with our daughters. It could not have been more perfect. This was our 3rd visit at this beautiful property, and it never disappoints! We had requested an upgrade to ocean front, and when we arrived, we were thrilled to enter our rooms, right on the beach, quiet, large, super comfy beds, our butler Duran was so helpful, always smiling, and always available to take care of us. We came back one night, and they had decorated our rooms, bathtub filled with bubbles, champagne chilling, rose petals everywhere, towel sculptures and balloons, in celebration of our daughters birthdays, and our anniversary. It was gorgeous! We return to the Grand for the fact that it truly is grand! This property is spotless, the pool is beautiful, the washrooms immaculate, the grounds always being tended to, the beach so clean, and wonderful to walk, totally decadent in every way. And the best part, ADULTS ONLY! We love our girls, but we travel for this pampering, and relaxation, and they serve it up on a silver platter! The staff........truly sensational, always smiling, so helpful, and boundless energy! From the Star Friends, to the restaurants, to the front lobby, the pool, the grounds, the bars, they go above and beyond to make sure that you are always happy and taken care of. The food was exceptional, always beautifully presented, wonderful varieties at every meal, and the staff always professional, making you feel very special at all times. We have travelled over 16 times to many places in the Caribbean, Jamaica is our favourite, the people are so welcoming and engaging. We return to the Grand as it truly is outstanding, and is the total package, and we know that it will be a truly amazing vacation, and we have never been disappointed!! Worth every penny!
