Melia Las Dunas: Amazing resort

Wonderful resort!! Beautiful, well maintained grounds. Service and accommodations were excellent! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was really quite good! Beach is stunning. Loved the " Relax Pool"! I highly recommend this resort.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Worst Customer Service

Grounds, rooms, beach and hotel workers all great. Customer service at the resort was beyond POOR with no manager ever available to help or be of service. Do not pay for WIFI service as they have none and they take away your money. MEN- Remember to bring pants as this was not communicated to us before we departed and my husband had to be escorted out of the buffet via security guards?? Ridiculous!

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: GREAT RESORT

RELAXING RESORT, AMAZING STAFF. WELL KEPT GROUNDS. GREAT ADULT RESORT, NO SCREAMING KIDS OR DRUNK TEENAGERS. ROYAL SERVICE IS REALLY GOOD. BEST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN CUBA IN 10 TRIPS. PREMIUM DRINKS AVAILABLE IN R.S

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful and Tropical Resort

This resort is truly very tropical looking. We found everything about the resort wonderful, from the staff to the food, grounds, beach and pool. It is a very large resort, but they had small train trollies to move around resort and lots of staff with golf carts that would stop and take you where you wanted to go.

Paradisus Varadero: Gorgeous beach & pool -- lacklustre resort

Pros: beautiful beach and water, great pool, pretty grounds, and impressive nightly entertainment. Cons: very musty and tired-looking rooms, mediocre customer service, and bland food (buffet and restaurants). Resort amenities look a bit tired/in need of a face lift. We requested to change rooms because they were incredibly musty smelling and looked very worn out. Ladies at front desk did not seem very pleased with this request, however we were eventually shown different rooms and were able t [... read more]o switch. Bathrooms are nicely renovated, though toilet in our room barely flushed and hot water could be a bit hit or miss. Food at the buffet was very bland. Not much better at the restaurants. Very tasty mojitos and pina coladas. If you are looking for a culinary experience, definitely not the place to go. Was difficult to get hands on more bottles of water if you finished yours prior to the daily delivery (late morning). Grounds/beach maintenance was pretty good, though greater attention to detail would take it that extra level. Overall loved the beach, pool, and weather -- the most important factors in my eyes!

Memories Cayo Largo: Wonderful resort

Great place all round excellent staff really looked after us very attentive, the holasun rep on site did not help me at all when I lost my phone at the airport, l had to drive back and try to find it talking to staff who spoke little english, anyway after an hour finally got the phone. Back, this was not a reflection on the resort, just the rep from holasun

Melia Jardines del Rey: extraordinary trip

Every personnel were friendly and professional, room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. the only thing which I complained was too many mosquitos but this is the wet season in Cuba. NO doubt about it...Food was great, A La Carte dinner was delicious especially seafood a la carte. Most food were natural without chemical marinated with its own flavor. Paradisus Rio De Oro: nothing but excelence

I have enjoyed every moments of this vacation, this resort is the best i have been so far. the food, the accommodation, service, facility and the beach sooooooooooo beautiful. looking for to return in November, :)

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Not really a five star hotel. Ala cartes slow

Air conditioning was not really working. Slow service at Ala carte. I liked the fact that it had non smoking areas. Quiet and relaxing if that is what you want to do. Not a lot of local shopping..

Hotel Camino del Mar: Beautiful resort

This resort was fantastic. Beautiful grounds great staff and the most amazing beach I have ever seen. The food was good , having been too Cuba several times this was the most comfotuble resort size wise, everything is well laid out . Check in was quick and welcoming. usually after a week I'm ready to go home ,but not this time , I was very sad to leave this beautiful place ! Melia Las Antillas: Great Resort!

The beach was fabulous and the pool area was nice with something always going on. We were in one of the out buildings on the ground floor. The room was comfortable, clean and in a quiet area. We only went to the Italian Restaurant which was very romantic. The buffet dinning hall had something to eat for everyone and one of the better ones we have come across in Cuba. Overall great holiday and would recommend to everyone.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Absolute Paradise!

This was our 4th trip to Cuba and while we normally stay in 4 - 4.5 star resorts, I have to say the Paradisus was by far the nicest resort we have stayed. The accommodations were large and comfortable, the grounds were impeccably kept and the food was very good. This was by far one of the easiest and most relaxing vacations we have taken. The main beach along with the little private beaches are very nice, the spa and it's setting is truly magnificient and a must do while staying at the Paradi [... read more]sus. While we didn't do the Royal Service we heard from other guests that it is truly fantastic. Our next trip to Cuba will be back to the Paradisus and hopefully the Royal Service.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Good resort.

We absolutely loved this resort. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The beach and grounds are amazing.The rooms are clean but needs renovations. Great week at this resort very quiet and relaxing. We stayed on the Luna side. Food was OK.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Amazing beach!!!!

There were a few bumps at this resort like really weak air-conditioning and repetitive food choices BUT the good far outweighed the bad. The staff were friendly and so hard working, the beach was outstanding and the hotel grounds and surroundings were lovely. I had a really enjoyable time.

Melia Las Dunas: Great Resprt

This hotel is the best one we have been to in the last 5 years. The hotel is beautiful and very, very clean. The rooms are large and the cleaning lady does a great job. The food was very good and lots of variety. The staff for the most part was friendly and good at their job. Our biggest complaint is the swim up bar staff, they completely ignored the children if an adult was not with them, even after tipping them too much. The lobby bar is bright and spacious, this was everyone's go to pla [... read more]ce after dinner and the bar staff here, again almost everyone, friendly and very good at their job. We are not animal lovers do not get me wrong we like animals but this resort had too many cats which are feral and too many dogs. The beach itself was beautiful and we are beach people. We traveled with our grandchildren 5 and 6, at the resorts we had been to before you could walk out forever before the water got deep, not this beach, the drop off was sudden and deep. As adults this is great but for this reason my daughter would not return to this resort.

Sol Palmeras: Amazing Experience

Good food, good service, the pool was amazing!!! This was an amazing trip!!! We went for a friends wedding and it was just beautiful. The pool was always clean and the pool bar was amazing!!! I love sol palmeras!!!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Very relazing full service resort

The renovated bathrooms were nice, overall cleanliness was great. Spa was amazing, great area to hang out for the day. the entertainment was good, always something different, The beach was nice, not quite enough shade for the number of people who wanted to be at the beach, but it always worked out somehow. The A-la carte restaurants were all very good, feel free to order double portions of Lobster! they don't blink an eye. the over all food was very good compared to other hotels in Cuba and the  [... read more]over all feel of the resort was quite relaxed. had a great time.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Great R and R - just what the Dr. ordered

I had a wonderful time. The beach was just amazing. The water was perfect for swimming and lounging. The grounds were beautiful and the surrounding mountains were gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Of course, nothing is perfect but we really got more than our money's worth and are happy we decided to stay at Sol Rio De Luna y Mares.

Melia Las Antillas: A memorable stay !

The resort was well located, simply appointed but clean. The staff was excellent and courteous. Very eager to help in any way possible. The pool and the beach front was close and wonderful. The food was surprisingly delisioso as we were told horror stories about food in the resorts before coming on this trip.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Good resort and beach

Rooms are clean and nice. Shower is a little claustrophobic but the water was running fine. The grounds are lacking plants. The lobby is very nice. The food was ok but not 5 stars. The personnel was very nice. The beach is rocky but with water shoes is fine. The water was amazing!
