Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Good Food, Good Beach, Well kept grounds

The Food was good chef cuisine type quality but signage could have been easier The beach was nice but swimming was somewhat limited especially towards nightfall as security would direct you out of the ocean The grounds were well kept really well

Hotel Mojito: Super experience

The grounds were beautiful, the staff wonderful, and the Brazilian chef was amazing. The food was more like on a cruise ship than a Cuban resort. the annimation staff were wonderful and we had a great time

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great stay

We stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada for 11 days in the beginning of may. It was a very nice stay, the staff are excellent at this resort. The resort is well taking care of, the food was good.I would recommend this resort for price you can't beat it.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Laguna Azul should be a seven star rating!!

I have been staying at the Iberostar, Laguna Azul every year for the last seven years and have NO interest of ever going to another resort. From the time I check in until the time I check out, from the food to the maid service is number one with me. It's nice to be treated like a somebody by everybody. I'll be back again next year and every year after until God says it's time to quit.

Hotel Mojito: FANTASTIC

Had an awesome stay here. The food, staff, entertainment, rooms, beach, pool....it was all great. The sea bass at the Buffet and Pool Snack bar was the BEST. We loved hanging out in the lobby bar before dinner, good drinks, good entertainment. The Cigar Bar Band was amazing, we really enjoyed the music. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Wonderful stay

Definitely will go back. My husband and I enjoyed our stay,food was fabulous with a lot of variety daily, grounds were immaculate with beautiful peacocks passing thru. Plenty of pool areas as well as the use of sister Iberostar hotels to swim and eat at. If I had to give a negative(reluctantly) I would say the area the resort covers is huge and takes a lot of walking, but they have small trolleys to pick you up. They arrive within a few minutes and was never a problem for us.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Wonderful !

Dining in public restaurant was just fine. You would find your preferred taste and meal. The reserved restaurants were all full when we tried to make a reservation though! Better to make it before you travel. Rooms are good overall. Ventilation of restrooms are not so great. The mattresses could be better too. The public areas, beach, swimming pools and open bars are gorgeous.

Hotel Mojito: amazing resort!

This resort is my favorite out of 11 times in cuba. The staff is wonderful, beach,food,drinks and entertainment are amazing. The cigar lounge is a great place to have a drink and listen to a great band. I will definitely be back!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing!!! SO BEAUTIFUL

What we loved most what the beach! It was so beautiful :) lots of chairs for everyone, so stress free if you like to sleep in! The hotel was gorgeous, we had a really nice room with a king size bed. The staff was incredibly nice, never pushy to buy their stuff! Drinks were delish! Food was good, not always amazing but you definitely won't starve!

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Five Star all the Way

Iberostar Varadero is everything you would expect and more. This was our second time here and we were given a terrific welcome with fruit plate, welcome back T shirts and rum in our room. We requested to be moved to the other side overlooking the garden and the very next day they had a room for us. Building 18, second floor - wonderful peaceful, close to beach. We ate fresh seafood everyday - especially shrimp and mussels for me. Eggs prepared right in front of you however you want them done for breakfast, also pancakes, French toast, hash browns, bacon -you name it. Pizza, pastas and burgers for those who can't get Canadian cuisine out of their sights. Salads, fruits, stews, casseroles, beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fresh baked bread at every meal - how much more can you ask for? We usually go to Cuba in late January, but for other reasons had to go in early December. Varadero in general had problems with sand fleas this past winter and I am allergic to most bug bites. Wouldn't you know it, my legs from ankles to knees were red, swollen and blistered. I finally went to the on site doctor and had terrific treatment for a very reasonable price. Exam, shots, skin cleanup, antibiotic cream, antibiotic pills, follow up appointment- all for about $115 CAD! We flew WestJet this time and even though it was not a direct flight from Halifax, it still took much less time than a previous flight with SunWing which was something like 8 hours late leaving Halifax and about 15 or 18 hours late leaving Cuba.

Hotel Mojito: Love love love this Resort !

This is a wonderful resort. I travelled here with my family and had a terrific time. I am a senior and travelled with my 93 year old friend and we couldn't have asked for better service. The Staff at this resort are amazing to say the least. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. The entertainment was great. The pool is beautiful and has a gradual walk in which is perfect for those with mobility issues. I can't wait to go back again next year!

Hotel Mojito: Quiet resort

The beach, staff, food, rooms, evening shows were terrific.. Could only go to two a-la-carts, which was a shame. About half the buildings were closed. I enjoyed my stay as it is a perfect place for quiet and relaxation. Excursions were limited to certain days and one of ours was cancelled as there were not enough people. I probably would not go back to this resort as I like to travel around.and this was not one of my favorites.

Hotel Mojito: nothing to complain about here

Traveled with my wife , 17 yr old daughter and friend. We all enjoyed this resort very much . Beach was amazing, food was good and staff were excellent. The cigar bar had a live band who are very talented and entertaining. Off the resort we found the cave bar to be a lot of fun.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Oustanding

Perfection. Spotless resort. Food amazing and people were beyond wonderful. Beautiful location with stunning beach. The attention to detail and service was top-notch. Planning a second trip there already!

Hotel Mojito: Hidden gem with excellent value!

I have traveled to this resort twice and plan on making it a once a year destination. The staff are top notch and the location can't be beat. The beach is the most spectacular one that I have come across in Cuba. For the price of one week it is an absolute steal. My personal favourite is the cigar lounge which offers that adult relaxed atmosphere.

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Fun Family holiday!

As a family we truly enjoyed the Iberostar Punta Cana, resort. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our room, we found it to be very comfortable. We had emailed the resort ahead of time to ask that our kids (older teens) be close to us and to be midway of the resort and they accommodated us nicely. We were pleased with our location. We appreciated the fact there was always a spot for us at either site at anytime. The staff was superb always serving. One thing I could appreciate about this resort whether down at the beach, in my room or dining room it was so clean. That is a wonderful attribute to this resort! Also this resort catered to all ages but I must say my older teens had a amazing time. The entertainment crew every night were very polite and mannerly and were excellent hosts to a fun party every night. We booked a couple of excursions and went on the Saona island day on the catamaran, it was a full day of fun, seeing and holding the starfish was amazing. We also did the doon buggies, so fun and again was a full day, we visited a great beach which was beautiful. Our entire time here was full of wonderful memories!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great resort for sun and fun

We just travelled here this past May for our honeymoon. Having never been to an all inclusive resort we didn't have much to compared it to but thought the resort was great. The staff were always friendly, food was good, resort grounds were beautiful. The beach wasn't the nicest so we didn't spend much time in the water but did lounge around out there. The pool was huge and very nice to swim in. Rooms were clean but felt more like a cottage than a 5* hotel. No room service. Entertainment was ve [... read more]ry good a couple nights but it got very similar so we wouldn't go ever night we were there. Always seemed to be something going on at the pool- volleyball, scuba diving, various games. Fun to watch or participate. Excursion recommendations- outback safari, catamaran and dune buggy! For a honeymoon you may want to go somewhere else- no upgrades or special treatment (not that you really need that but we've heard it's been a great perk for other couples on their honeymoons- there's only going to be one honeymoon after all!).

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Great vacation

The hotel is well located . The transfer from airport to hotel was fast. It is à short taxi ride to playa del Carmen . The grounds of the hotel were amazing. We had an océan front room which was Worth the up grade. The beach is well maintained. staff are very friendly. Food was ok.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great time

The staff were excellent. Food was good. And the beach was great. Although food at the beach cafe was just ok. We had to change rooms because our first one smelled a bit musty. Staff handled it very well.
