Melia Las Americas: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful beach, friendly staff, good food. Had a wonderful vacation here and would definitely return. There were activities on the beach if you wanted to join in or you could just relax. Catamaran, paddle boats and kayaks available to use. Also, snorkeling from the beach at a minimal cost. Some theme nights out on the patio. Theater performances.

Playa Vista Azul: Second Visit here....might make it three!

I took my wife for a surprise 4 day trip to celebrate her 50th. In all our years of taking tropical winter holidays (usually twice per winter!) we had never returned to a resort that we had visited in the past. We were very glad we came back here! We previously visited here in March 2016 when the resort was brand new. It does show a lot of wear for three years, but apparently a hurricane will do that! Rooms are still very well maintained, and clean, but there are many shingles missing from the  [... read more]ocean facing roofs which will lead to major damage if not rectified soon. I chose to upgrade to the "Privilege" level, which was well worth the relatively small amount extra that it costs. Better room, personalized check-in, later check out, better drinks, a-la-carte reservations nightly, private breakfast and lunch restaurant and a private lounge to enjoy the better drinks in at night! (I wish I had done that the first visit too!!) As usual in Cuba, the people are the best asset of the resort. First class service from all people, all the time. I will be back!

Resonance Blu Varadero: Great resort

Great resort very clean,friendly staff ,great Japanese restaurant ,lots of beach chairs with two amazing pools 24 hour snack bar with lot’s of choices,beautiful beach amazing animation team lots of activities for all ages.

Palma Real: Great people.

My 4th time to this resort only because of the location to town the people that work here and the finally finished renovation to the swim up pool and disco. The beach is amazing but a short walk to get to. Another improvement was the restaurant at the beach for use of the hotel patrons

Playa Vista Azul: trip and booking

Good day this was my 1st TRIP out of the country, with that being said our booking agent Janet was a sheer pleasure to deal with she left no stone unturned which made our trip that much more enjoyable. As far as the resort the entire staff in which i came into contact with were always smiling and eager to help me in any way.,the rooms were very well equipped and spacious. I would not hesitate to return to the ocean villa for a return. THANK YOU ALL FOR A WONDERFUL TRIP!

Paradisus Varadero: Best trip so far to Cuba

This is the second time I have been to Cuba. Last time, I was in RIU now changed into Grand memories. This time's stay in Paradisus make me feel way less crowded, better beach and close to ocean. I can hear the waves of ocean during my sleep. That was fantastic experience. The only problem was buffet seem to have much less choices of food compared to other hotel at the same level. not much changes over my 5 days of stay in term of food. I highly recommend it especially for people want to swim, enjoy the beach rather than eating and watching show.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Love love love this resort

One of the best resorts I have stayed. Normally not a fan of Cuba but this resort is top notch, we got married here and will return every December for our anniversary. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Laurie

Los Delfines: Best location

The food is not great except for the one night you can book for the specialty dining. Beach are is great. Lots of great dining restaurants within walking distance. Two straw markets within a few blocks.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: good value for 3.5 stars

Great beach and pool. Food needs variety. Some rooms need reno. Plumbing pipes reversed in some showers...cold showers for 3 days till we discovered that ! Friendly staff. Good beverage service. Italian restaurant was very pleasant. Its lasagna was great.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: For us it was perfect

Fantastic dream holidays - we had exactly what we were looking for in a vacation package: nice clean room, comfortable bed,excellent service, very good food, perfect weather, long beach to walk and warm water in the ocean, and of course pina-colada a volonte. Fantastic week. The worst part, we came home to -16C. Rats.

Playa Vista Azul: Amazing resort!!

We had an amazing week with this resort. The friendly outgoing staff make you feel so welcome. They were super helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Some make you feel like family. There were some many forms of entertainment daily and nightly. The grounds are beautiful and the views are stunning. A wonderful buffet of so many foods. The choices were plenty. We loved our stay and plan on returning!!

Los Delfines: We had a great holiday

We stayed @ Los Delfines last year. Found the food was better this year. The rooms were much nicer this year. The pools however were cold and murky. Did not swim in pool. This year we swam in the ocean more and enjoyed it very much, warm ocean!!! The staff was exceptional as before, friendly approachable, helpful and fun to be around. Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Girls Getaway

The resort is very nice. The grounds are beautiful and maintained daily by the friendly gardeners. The buffet and alacartes are excellent. The only recommendation would be more variety of beer and fruit juices.

Melia Las Americas: Great Beach and Golf

Back again. and I will be back again. Despite being over 25 years old this hotel is still one of the best in Varadero. The Varadero Golf Club is an interesting track and is fun to play. Wind can change it completely. Buy up to the Level. The perks are worth it.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Great resort with a great beach!

The Royalston was a great resort. We were on a 4 day mini vaca and it was the perfect size- not too big and the Beach was nice and close to the rooms. The staff was fantastic and the food was some of the best I've ever had in Cuba. There was an unfortunate sulfer smell around the pool a couple of times, which wasn't great, but overall, wasnt a huge issue

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Nice resort

Hotel was very clean and the service was amazing! The food was very good with lots of choices. Intimate resort witch what we we're looking for. Lacking o bit of activities during the day but, at day lots of it.

Melia Varadero: AMAZING RESORT

We were so glad to chose this hotel for our vacation. The staff is very friendly, extra careful without being so much and the manager was very kind and caring And the food...... Surely more on the expensive side, but you will have many options, and each one we tried was just great. If you have a chance you need to spend some time here. Every aspect of this hotel is perfect, Would gladly come back!

Roc Arenas Doradas: Awesome place

Everything was great . Drinks,food,grounds, staff was great. Coffee ladies are the best. The rooms were good as well. Everyone very friendly courteous helpful in all areas. Would definitely be going back .

Melia Las Americas: Best Vacation Ever

Our group of friends was looking for a week long vacation somewhere warm and beautiful. We booked this vacation through Jennifer - she showed us several options that met our criteria. We landed on this place because it was adult, had the right location and was and all inclusive. We flew out of Windsor which was super convenient. The resort is beautiful! The beach is truly the most beautiful I've ever seen. We ate at 3 of the a-la-carte restaurants and all were really delicious. The buffet alw [... read more]ays had something to eat, but the lunch bars has some stellar choices. I'd highly recommend the La Robeza restaurant for lunch and dinner. The entertainment at the resort was first class - although there were a couple of quiet evenings (it would have been nice to have some music playing). The large pool was under maintenance when we arrived but it was filled mid week. The pools were clean, but cold - which was refreshing on those hot days! We ended up being upgraded into a bungalow because we had 5 women - I'd recommend the bungalows for groups of folks - it ended up making our trip even better. We took a couple of excursions off the resort - one into Havana and one into Veradero ... both by hiring classic cars through locals - both were awesome!

Sol Varadero Beach: nice resorts

this hotels is old and needs lots of maintenance.no hot water for 3 days.the shower head not working .the food is the same everyday.the beach is wonderful.the bar is amazing and the coffee is very tasty.
