Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Fantastic service!

We had an incredible short stay at Sandals Grande Rivieria! We had a poolside Butler room up on the hillside with butlers Richard and Jeremy. Food was excellent. Staff were all friendly, and service was excellent throughout the resort. Although the actual beach was small, the pools were great. We look forward to returning next year!

Catalonia Montego Bay: It's OK, not great and not bad

Rooms are clean, staff friendly, food is good at both buffet and the sit downs. Jerk chicken hut is very good along with children pool area BBQ (burgers, hot dogs and grilled cheese). Adult beach and pool area is nice, clean and not hard to find a spot to settle down in ( no need to rush down early in the morning to secure a spot). Adult beach is small and not deep at all, watch for sea urchins though, advise to wear swim shoes but easy to spot. night entertainment is ok more it seems for kids.  [... read more]Hotel is dated but there is renovations going on to spruce it up. close to the airport, suggest stay in buildings 3-7 and avoid building 1 facing the pool as it gets extremely hot on the balcony in the afternoon and is loud from the pool and entertainment. stayed as a couple and spent all the time at the adult sections. looks great for young families...

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fantastic!

I Can't mention everyone and everything that made my vacation absolutely wonderful because I'd have to name everyone at the resort. I will return when the new don Pablo building is finished. BTW the construction had absolutely no negative impact on my vacation

Couples Tower Isle: First Time in Jamaica

Awesome service and food was amazing!! Great for couples wanting to have a getaway. Beach was windy and lots of debris staff was constantly cleaning but pools were an option. Not enough music during the day and would have liked to arrive on different day so we could enjoy the beach party and make it to Margaritaville which is only Monday evening.

Couples Tower Isle: Tower Isle

Nice small resort, very good food. Not much of a beach but very private. nearly two hours from Montego Bay. Not all room categories have bath tubs, but ocean view is outstanding. Friendly staff. Most guests are over 40.

Dreams Rose Hall: Fantastic resort

Everything is well organized, clean rooms, fresh linens, ground areas are well kept, delicious food and excellent customer service. Shopping mall nearby and a lot of great adventures and breathtaking places, free shuttle bus to take to mall, amazing golf course, the lazy river and waterpark, our kids enjoyed so much, the aqua fit everyday and the Zumba instructor, who is very friendly and full of energy.

Couples Negril: unpretencious but perfect beach, food and service.

Second time at a Couples resort. They aim to please, tasty and heatlhy food options, fantastic beach and activities, all included. A little annoyance: The noisy music of neighbooring hotel on the West side of the resort. Did not have our requested room category the first night but they made up for it for the largest beachfront room the next day. The Oasis at Sunset: Highlights, disappointments and misunderstood.

Oasis at Sunset, Highlights, disappointments and misunderstood. The property is a large complex of buildings and spaces. Highlights::: The property, places and spaces are absolutely spotless, clean and well maintained. Special complements need to go to the grounds keeper as it is a meticulous place. ALL the staff for the most part were friendly, accommodating and busy. A special note has to go to all the staff in the buffet restaurants. NO ONE slowed down unless you wanted to ask questions. The  [... read more]night time restaurants that had to be booked in advance were ok and seem to try and bring a nice meal. One waiter that deserves a special note is PAUL in the Terrace Restaurant was an absolute Jem. If you go to this restaurant, you must ask for PAUL!!! The entertainment on Tuesday evenings at the Beach Party are absolutely an amazing group of you people. Well worth seeing. The entertainment at the Terrace Restaurant in the evening between the piano player and violin player is also well worth the time to spend the time to listen to them. 15 minutes from the airport is nice. Disappointments:::: The rooms on the East and West units are very small. No desk or area to sit if you need to use a laptop. Clean and well kept. I recommend to bring an extension cord as plugs are few and far between. The internet was spotty at best. Sometimes good sometimes forget it. Not sure why they had a password system that frustrated you as it kept trying to get you to click icon for better service if you wanted to pay!!! The buffet breakfast lunch and supper seem to be the same thing over and over. Its hard to mix it up for breakfast as they covered most bases except pastry. Lunch and supper repeat every day They could use a good pastry chef for breads and deserts. There was no beachside grill or snack shop. The distance to walk to the washrooms or to get a drink from the only adult (very small) beach was to far. I guess the exercise would not hurt anyone. Misunderstood::: We thought we paid extra for the adult only section, and beach. We were at the far East side of the complex in a building known as East and Ah Natural was actually on the sign. I can tell you that the beach in front of our building was filled with kids of all ages and our unit also had a great deal of kids in it. A screaming 2 year old that was the most active kid i have ever heard make noises non stop. Thank heavens it was only 2 days and they were gone. I do not mind kids but really misunderstood what we paid extra for. There was a gated beach that we thought may have been adults only, but to our surprise through the gate was more kids. At the very end of the beach was a small section with another gate that was au natural. If not wanting au natural beach and no kids, this is not the place to come. Just Wrong:::::: The village behind the resort has a bar that plays loud music Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday nights. Saturday night was until 4am and the volume of the base sounds made the group Metallica seem like armatures. Not sure how the town lets that go one at such volumes but it is very disturbing. Nothing to do with the hotel as I know they have had many complaints on this.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Island!

Island was beautiful. Loved it! Resort was a little weathered. Staff were very nice, unless you needed service. One beach was amazing, a few mins away though. Nightlife was very entertaining. Recreational activities were not at a minimum haha

The Oasis at Sunset: Fantastic Resort right on the ocean.

The oasis is a real find for anyone wishing a special time in the Carribean. The staff are exceptional,friendly alway ready to help. Accomodation iinCabanas on the beach are the best value we have found,on the many islands visited.Superbly run by Jamaicans. Excitement for children and others available at a larger facility next door. Our adult daughters and our eighty year old selves,wish we could. Have discovered it sooner. We will return.

Sandals Dunn's River: Amazing resort

The rooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable, the staff was wonderful, very friendly and always smiling. The food was great, you always stepped away full. It was a great place with great people.....will definitely go back!!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Awesome resort

Excellent resort .. They above & beyond for everyone at the resort Danion Clark is an asset to the royalton .. Never met such friendly staff .. Grounds beautiful .. All restaurants were delicious !! Amazing pace u won't be dissatisfied with this resort !! Can't wait to go back :)

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Not a 5 star!

The most positive thing is the pool is nice and the grounds are beautiful The food is just ok, the staff at most of the A la carte restaurant staff acted like it was an inconvenience to serve you. The best restaurant was the Italian one. What really soured our opinion was that we had to almost beg for wash clothes and sometimes bath towels in our room. Ask the maid but the only way we could get them was ask at the Diamond club desk...not what you'd expect from a 5 star.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Great rseort

The rooms were a bit dated; however, the cleanliness, service and food were excellent. The beach and location of this resort is fantastic. My wife and I came back from this resort two days ago and we will go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

The Grounds was will cared for and beautiful, the pools was very clean, the rooms needed some updating, the foods was good. We couldn't stay at the disco for long periods of time because it had a very bad smell. Overall our getaway was very enjoyable. thanks

Sandals South Coast: Poor value for the price

Maintenance problems with rooms, lounge chairs hard to come by unless you are willing to get up at 5:30 am, service was slow, beautiful grounds, beach area rocky, drinks were good, food was generally good, weather was not great (windy and a couple days of rain).

Sandals Dunn's River: Beautiful Intimate Resort

The resort is small, there are only 250 rooms and no matter what room you stay in, you're close to everything. The grounds, pools, and pool decks are immaculately kept as is the beach area. The beach is private and you will not be bothered by vendors or buskers however, although adequate strolling from one end to the other will take you about 3-4 minutes.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Awesome resort

Everything about the resort , the food , the staff was top notch... We did not feel the pressures of tipping because the staff was so helpful we automatically wanted to give gratuity. Clean , timely fashion when needed something, questions answered promptly.,

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: It was amazing resort would go back

Very beautiful and quite people were very nice great service but only had one pool amazing view we had food was very good staff were there on hand for your needs ocean was nice chairs were comfertable thick couchines rooms were amazing

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Great week!

The staff are lovely people but the management is clueless on how to train them properly which is a shame. A minor tweak could take the service to 4 stars without much effort. But it's 3 star service, 4 star food and accommodation for the Caribbean. I had the best beach vacation of my life mainly because I got to do all the water sports I like and the people who work there and visit there are fun, relaxed, people. I felt like my one week was two weeks, I had so much fun.
