Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Good resort

We were booked for Sian Ka'an. However, when we arrived, the front desk officer stated that they had no room for us. For the first night, we stayed at Sian Ka'an, could not unpack, and late afternoon on the following day, we were transferred to Akumal. We liked Akumal for its proximity to the ocean, and Sian Ka'an, for its food. The transportation between both resorts was excellent and efficient, and the arrangement worked well for us. Air Transat had a glitch with the transportation to the  [... read more]airport on the last day. The bus did not come on time, and I had to contact my travel representative with the inquiries. When the minibus finally arrived 30 minutes late, six travellers with their luggage felt like sardines in a can during this 1.5 hour trip to the airport. In overall, good resort. I would give it 4 stars.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: great resort

It's good environment for relax with family, friendly staff and good food, Elevator to the beach, which is interesting, buffet change menu every day, overall good quality Friendly staff always smile on face, welcoming thank you

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Stay away!

I've been to Sian Ka'an in Mexico and was expecting the same service, food and rooms, totally disappointed. We spent our whole week at the new Fantasia on the same grounds, that one is worth the money (same price). Even Ambar Green is better on all aspects.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Grand Bahia- El Portillo

Trip Central was able to help facilitate a great trip to El Portillo. There was a fine rep onsite daily to answer any queries. El Portillo was everything we expected and the staff were genuine with wonderful DR virtues. Thank-you Trip Central.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Awesome

The food was fantastic. We've been to Mexico 8 times and by far the food was the best at this resort. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were all helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and made up in a timely manner. My only suggestion would be to build a bar area that you can sit at down by the pool area. Not all want to sit in the lounge chairs. We sometimes like to sit right at the bar.

Over all beautiful resort grounds will great people and great food. Would definitely go back again in the future. Dont get a room on the first floor cause of the bugs; but theres ko elevator so anyone requiring accessibility needs would get stuck with ground floor.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Place

Food was great. Service terrific. Very peaceful & relaxing resort. Pleasant very Quiet rooms . Nice beach area. Pools go on forever. Many choices for dining, all good. Staff is very friendly. If you did have a problem, someone was there within 5 minutes to take care of it.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Fabulous Resort

We have travelled to the Dominican several times, but first time to Samana, and first time staying at a Bahia Principe resort. The resort did not disappoint.... it was everything we had hoped for. The beach was amazing, you could walk for miles, do some snorkelling along the way. The resort itself was very clean, and always saw staff sweeping, dusting, etc. The staff is amazing, and always willing to help and always with a smile. The buffet and the buffet beach bar( lunch only) had a great selection. We ate at 3 of the specialty restaurants( Italian, French, and Brazilian) all were very good. The Brazilian probably being my fav, but my husband loved the French. The lobby bar is very nice, with s great selection of drinks, unfortunately it closes at 11:00, then you have to go to the disco to get a drink. Too loud if you just wanted to sit and socialize, but great if you wanted to get in a little more partying. All in all a great resort that has everything to offer. Would definitely go back!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Vacation

Not only are the grounds of the Dominican Pablo Collection beautiful but the food was excellent and the staff outstanding. All ready planning on returning next year. It is hard to find an Adult all inclusive suitable for couples and singles, but we loved it.

hotel was beautiful, tram rides were no big deal and the drivers were great. the a la carte restaurants were the best I've seen at any resort, the staff were excellent and very helpful. first room we had was near the stage and was loud ,asked to move and was not a problem. only complaint would be food at the buffets tended to be not very hot

Food was amazing, entertainment was outstanding, trolly to beach and other resorts was very reliable and frequent. Beach was beautiful and most service met our expectations. Rooms were average, nothing special, check-in was slow, didn't get our room until 330 pm. Service at pool restaurant was very slow.

Overall, my husband and I loved this resort. We were in need of a relaxing get away and this resort was the perfect choice. We got the room with the whirlpool tub off the patio. It was great. We used it at least once and often twice a day. We were there the first week of February so there were a couple of cooler days so the whirlpool was nice. The food and service were great as well. I would not recommend this if you are looking for a party resort. This would not be for you. The trolley system is great too. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the beach area but we did not find that in inconvenience as the ride there was interesting. The was usually various wildlife you could see along the way suchas lizards, birds, turtles, alligators etc. We would go back to this hotel but only during the cooler months their since it is away from the water and would expect it to be much hotter during their summer time.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Wonderful resort

This resort is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. The rooms are spacious and clean. The grounds are kept imacculate and has very nice walkways around the whole property. The food is great and lots of variety. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Huge Resort

This resort had the best food that I have experienced in the DR. The grounds were spotless, staff were very polite, but the room was ok. If you are looking for a quiet resort, this one is not for you! This resort has basically 6 resorts in one area. The beach was extremely overcrowded as well as most of the pools. If you like action and lots of people, this resort is for you.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Average resort, not an average price.

This resort is average at best. Food and drink are fine, you can what you are looking for but nothing is outstanding. Drinks are poor, and nothing is made fresh. The downside to this resort is the service, no one is really interested in their job unless management is around. For example we would have to ask 3-4 times for coffee/water in the morning. Ramps everywhere. We requested a ground floor room (for the stroller) and that was accommodated. Trollies running all day long. Room service is quick but menu very limited. One positive to this resort are the grounds, perfectly manicured and stunning. Would make nice backdrop for a wedding. The resort is fine but we have travelled extensively so it did not measure up. The weather was perfect and that's why we went.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fabulous place

We arrived on Saturday Jan 28th to the Luxury Bahia Principe at 1:30pm, 1st impression the resort lobby was beautiful and we were welcomed with a drink. We then proceeded to check in and was told that our room was not yet ready and we could go and have lunch and then return to front desk for the room key. Upon our return from lunch about an hour later we went back to the front desk and again was told our room was not ready and to check back in 15 mins. We sat in the lobby and waited some more [... read more]. Multiple bus loads of people arrived at the resort and we watched as they were escorted to their rooms. Again I went to the front desk and inquired about our room, was told they were checking on it. After 4 hours of sitting and waiting my husband got mad and went to the front desk and expressed his frustrations with the service of checking in. We finally got to our room about 5:30pm. This is the only complaint that we have from the resort. The rest of our vacation was fantastic!! Food was good, accommodation's were beautiful and the dining staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Have never seen a resort so clean and well maintained as this one!! Would definitely go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

The Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana is a huge resort with many different sections. We were at the Esmaralda campus (Adults only) and it was absolutely beautiful. The pool and beach were very close. The room was a great size and the bathroom had a separate shower, tub and double vanity. The hotel and grounds were very clean. The food at the buffets and different a la carte restaurant were fabulous. The service was very good and staff very friendly. There are trolleys to get around one area [... read more] to another. There was a children's area with little water slides and park. It is a great resort for families and couples. I would recommend this resort and would consider returning.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful time from the moment we got through customs and on the bus the people were so friendly and welcoming. The Hotel was superb, the food was amazing, the service from the hotel staff exceptional! The pools and beach were wonderful. We went to climb Dunns River on the Catamaran tour WOW! Highly suggest this trip. Best Vacation ever! We will go back again for sure.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Honest review

We just got home from 8 days here. We can honestly say we have nothing but great things to say about our stay. Our room was great, the food was fantastic, the pool and beach were wonderful. And of course the staff here were the greatest! The only thing that could use some work is the way the ALA CARTE dinners are booked. We spoke with several people who were not able to book any. We were able to get 3 at a decent time 6:30, all the rest were 9-930. We didn't mind because the buffet was great, [... read more] but I know for some people this is a problem. We will definitely be returning here in the future, and would recommend it to anyone. We usually prefer a smaller resort but it had everything we needed.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Massive Resort

We stayed in Amber Green which is an all Adult section. While it is a very large resort we really enjoyed it. The food was great with plenty of choices, the staff were great Raymond on the entertainment team was a blast (heyman). I would recommend the resort to anyone for the Adult section as I can not comment on the other parts of the resort as we stayed in our section for the most part.
