Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Enjoyable resort

Upon arriving at the reservation desk we were immediately disappointed to be told that Upon arriving we were told that our reservation was being changed until at least the next day as the garden bungalow reserved was not available. This was a complaint come to reality that was mentioned as common practice at this resort in many reviews we had read before coming here. The apparent upgrade was nicely furnished and large, but the constant barking dogs and extremely loud music all night long made sl [... read more]eep an impossibility. the next morning, after complaining again, we were told to come back in the afternoon - at that time we were transferred to a garden bungalow. After that things picked up: staff was overall very accommodating, food at the Seafood, Thai, and buffet restaurants was amazing, weather was fantastic, beach was acceptable - however, the bottom is quite rocky(wear water shoes) and the water at this time was very cloudy or sandy making snorkeling, which we truly enjoy, impossible.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Awesome resort

Great food, beach and accommodations Staff very friendly and eager to please adult pool overcrowded island across from the beach very relaxing way to spend your day excursions well worth the money will return for a third time

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Beautiful resort, amazing food, the best service!

We absolutely loved our stay at the resort! We were greeted by friendly staff who wouldn't allow us to lift a finger the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't ready, so they recommended us a restaurant to dine at while we waited. The food was amazing! Every day we looked forward to trying out a new restaurant...and were never disappointed. The rooms were excellent - clean and modern, with tons of privacy but only a few steps or in our case, a quick swim to one of the pool areas, restaurants or lobb [... read more]y. We quickly learned that the bartenders do not skimp out on liquor! And are quick to take your order and make whatever you want! The pools were clean and though there was landscaping going on throughout the day, we were never bothered by it. The only downside was the ocean. There were lots of rocks and the water was very shallow, so it was hard to do any real swimming or wading in the water. We recommend swimming in the water infront of Ziva and doing any beach lounging on the Zilara side.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great nice sized resort.

Stayed at the Beach Resort Mar 3-10. Beautiful weather, 10mins of rain all week. All staff were great Star Friends were a lot of fun.(twitter,breezey,chocolate)tks. Special shout out for our lobby bar bartender President aka(percisily). Good selection of food at buffet eggs,bacon,pork,chicken,beef,salads,fruit, and many good deserts. Easy to get around resort. Riu Palace Tropical Bay: First Class Resort

We were very impressed with the first class service we received from all the staff, attending to our every need. The food was excellent with lots of choices, always something different every day so the buffet never got boring. The a la carte restaurants were also very good with wonderful service staff. The beach was beautifully maintained, always clean, and the ability to walk for quite a stretch around the bay was appreciated .... to work off some of the extra calories gained from the buffet! T [... read more]he room staff did a good job every day and it was a bonus to have a coffee maker in the room, as well as the liquor dispenser. All in all a great, relaxing, pampered vacation, although we found that a week is not long enough.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Where do I go now???

After this amazing vacation... I don't know where I will go to top this one. Amazing staff, activities, food and VIEWS. Spacious clean & classy rooms with endless places to see in the resort. I didn't hit the same view twice and didn't have enough time to eat and or to have a drink in every spot available. The beaches were beautiful; nice and sandy with clean clam waters This is a great place to sun & fun on the beautiful beaches of Jamaica.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: It was our third time back! !

We had a wonderful time. ....the new kids pool was great....we also love Bhogali! Staff are friendly and helpful. .....the resort is gorgeous. The jerk hut on the beach is great and the Mexican restaurant has been updated since our last trip and we enjoyed it.The option to go to the a la carte restaurants every night is a bonus as well☺

Riu Ocho Rios: Ok

We have stayed at the RIU in different locations in the past have have found them to be exceptional, This is the reason why we booked with them again when we decided to go back to Jamaica. I have to say this hotel did not live up to their standards.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: A well kept secret!!

This is our third visit to the Royalton White Sands, Montego Bay in 3 months. All visits have been excellent with the best service one can imagine. Diamond Club...We had the added feature of the diamond club on all three occasions and this included extra luxuries such as access to the diamond club and the exceptional staff. There was also the assistance of butlers throughout the entire stay. Our butlers were JERMAINE and ANDRÉ. They always went beyond the call of their jobs. Everyday they woul [... read more]d locate us throughout the day on the resort to assure that everything was okay and that we had everything we needed. A quick phone call to one of them got us service. On a few occasions, they left a fresh fruit tray and a bottle of chilled wine in our room. Upon arrival on the third trip, Jermaine had left rose petals and decorations on the bed to welcome us. They made us feel very special and welcome at the resort. We also met the diamond club manager, JENNIFER VERNON-JARRETT. She was vocal in getting us an upgrade and assured that we had everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Rooms....were clean and modern with a beautiful view of the ocean. We upgraded to the presidential suite and it was amazing....lots of room and amenities. Food....All restaurants served a good variety of delicious meals. JANET at the breakfast buffet will cook you eggs any way you desire. She remembered what my order was every morning and was always willing to prepare my eggs. The hostess, CHANDELLE at the steak house was quick to get our regular table every time we visited the steak house. Then there was RYAN at the Zen restaurant who cooks and entertains for his audience. Pools....are cleaned everyday and well kept. The adult pool has a pool bar that is a lot of fun. Our waitresses at the pool, SHANOY and YVONNE were always quick to assure that we had drinks and were even available to get us food at the sports bar if requested. OVERALL....this resort is outstanding. The employees work as a team to assure that everyone receives the best service. Everyone is SOOOOO friendly and happy to assist. The resort is clean and well maintained as everyone works together. A special thank you is also extended to ALEXANDER ARIAS and DAHLIA WALKER and their staff for going beyond the call of duty to give us the VIP treatment. All three trips were well worth the cost and we will definitely be returning next year for another 3 trips!!!!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Best time!

We had a great family vacation and enjoyed every minute of this beautiful resort. The beach is amazing, the suites are great and the staff is so friendly. The resort is family friendly, has many activities and great restaurants and buffets. We hope to return again!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Great last minute getaway!

Grounds were well maintained, rooms were clean, a la carte restaurants were tasty - would love to have more than 2 to choose from but they were good. Disco was closed every night until the show put on by the hotel was over, then most guests returned to their rooms with some staying at the bar outside. Disco was empty every night which was disappointing. Would be nice to have the option of seeing the show (mediocre) or going to the disco instead. Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: Gorgeous Resort and Great People

We enjoyed our week at the JDR resort - the grounds are meticulous, the food was excellent and the staff were amazing. We enjoyed the entertainment crew and had a blast with The Mayor - he was unbelievable at remembering names! Our favourite bar was the Sunken Treasure pool bar - bartenders Garnet and Kasheil were a pleasure to get to know. Crazy Chris was a great server of drinks and fruit on a daily basis. We tried all of the restaurants and found all to be enjoyable, with the Jade being our least favourite. Our room was at first in the Emerald Lanai section but as I am short, getting into the large jacuzzi shower tub was a bit difficult for me so we asked to be changed to one of the other buildings. We had no difficulty being changed to the Diamond Building and by 8am the next day, we were in room 3109 which had a partial view of the ocean and the RIU next door...and the tub was a more reasonable height. Our room was cleaned and stocked daily but as we were at the pool and beach until 4 each day we do not even know what time it was done. One day after being at the pool, we came back and the security latch had popped into place, locking us out of the room. Within 10 minutes maintenance was at our room and the issue was resolved quickly. The service at this resort was top notch. We would recommend this resort to anyone and could have easily have spent a 2nd week there!

Couples Negril: Great Stay!

From start to finish, everyone at Couples Negril made us feel wonderful. Specific shout outs to Bellard with the games and activities, Floy and Elkie with the drinks and Sugar, Taffy and Richie in the dive shop. We WILL be back!

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing!

The resort was great! Staff were friendly, accommodating and hard working, building and grounds very well kept, and the food amazing! The entertainment staff kept guest well occupied during the day and completely entertained at night with show time!

Rooms On The Beach: Great stay!

We had an an awesome time at this resort. Our only complaint was that the wifi is terrible and only available in the lobby. Everything else was great and a good value for the money. Super friendly staff, good food, central location, nice rooms (we loved our patio!). Would definitely go back.

Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: so much fun!

We loved this resort!! There were a few minor glitches but other than that we had an amazing time. Pros: beach, service, pools, 24 hour hot tubs, staff, food was overall good (dinner buffet can be improved), good wines to buy Cons: rarely ever any change at the front desk, our first room was horrible with a shared balcony (we switched after 2 nights as resort was at full capacity), dinner buffet lacks variety, a few security guards were crooked Overall we had an amazing time and we would go back [... read more]!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing

Hotel and surroundings including facilities were absolutly spotless .Restaurants including the buffet had an excellent varity with outstanding service.entertainment was excellent .The reception upon arrival was outstanding,courteous,friendly and very helpful. Pool was clean and service was excellent around the pool

Beaches Jamaica Negril: Good resort but not worth the extra money

The beach is great and the resort is focused on children which is great for families. The resort also has many nice extras like free watersports (including scuba diving, water skiing and banana boats), free spa spending (that no one tells you about) and beach/pool towels available without cards. However, the food, the room and the entertainment are not any better than other 4 and 5 resorts that are much cheaper. The a la cart restaurant are actually worse than other resorts. Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: clean resort

Found grounds will matured trees, shrubs and well maintained. Rooms dated with small washroom area (had to stand inside over toilet to close door). Beach nice but not much to walk as it appears they are owned by resort and not eay to walk long distance. Food OK! would have liked more local fish on menu.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: WOW

Upon arrival we were amazed. Once we were shown to our room and the location could not have been any better. We did pay for a seaview and it did not disappoint. We were on the third floor above Orchid Buffet on the oceanfront. We found the food to be really good and the theme nights mixed it up, which was nice. We did the Japanese-fantastic and the Don Pablo-very good. My one complaint is the lack of stairs in the pool and not being able to swim under the bridges from section to section. The lac [... read more]k of stairs in the middle section limited us to sitting there as my husband had mobility issues. The section down by the adults only had two sets of stairs but they were both on the same side. Other than that I have no big complaints. There were a couple of minor issues but I was on vacation and was not going to stress about them. When we checked out I reported them to the hotel management. We will be going back.
