Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Loved it!

Beautiful, well kept hotel. Huge but easy to navigate with trolleys. Good food. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Good entertainment. Crowded beach but nice area. Lovely pools. I would definately return to this property.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Beautiful resort!

We had a great time at Bahia Principe! The resort was clean and comfortable. The pools were amazing and the staff were extraordinary! I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone for their vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Excellent Resort

The Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana Resort was excellent. The rooms were very nice, food at the main buffet was really good with lots of selections. The resort grounds were spectacular. The service was excellent. We were greeted with smiles from everyone every day. The beach was nice but was crowded. We will definitely go back and strongly recommend to all. A good value for the price.

very nice resort. don't worry about the size. the shuttle is amazing. food at the buffet was the best. ala cart was so so. rooms are clean and service cleaning rooms was always very well done a timely. The gold service was worth the money, but don't expect much from the gold service staff. always felt like i was an inconvinience. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Beautiful Resort

Overall, this resort was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, rooms, pools, night life, staff, and beach. My one concern was that unfortunately, we experienced a very bad sand flea problem and got many uncomfortable bites.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Very Good Resort, lives up to expectations!

We spent a week here in late January after my having conducted extensive research into destinations. The hotel was as I expected - it is fairly represented by the hotel and in reviews. The views are spectacular - you must get a room with a balcony and a sea view. The buffet is gorgeous - open air, with sea views. It really feels like you are on the Mediterranean. We really liked the beach, sandy bottom and big enough. There is an undertow and we did have some yellow flag days due to wind and wave. The pool is quite small, but I am an ocean girl anyhow. I got a head cold so I can't report on the snorkeling unfortunately. The only downside is that there is really little to do or see in the area. Personally, I would not spend two weeks here because I would be bored, but lots of people seemed quite happy to be there for two weeks! It is an older crowd - we are late 40s and early 50s and we were younger than many. It is quiet which we like, but evening entertainment we found a bit dull... We found the staff fine - neither abundantly helpful nor unfriendly. But we are not really joiners, and many people seemed to have fun with the staff. A good resort to chill for a week as a couple, but be prepared with some books!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful resort!!

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. The beach is amazing, beautiful hotel, perfect location, good food, great staff!!!! Love the fact that by staying at the Luxury Bahia Esmeralda we were able to use the facilities at the sister resorts.

I have been on 7 all inclusive resorts. We got to Grand Bahia Principe and thought it was so beautiful. when we were checking in we got upgraded for free to Esmerelda.. What a place.. the whole resort was wonderful.. We would love to go back next year..

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: We will return next year to the Luxury Bahia Príncipe Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

This is by far a luxury resort. Our room had everything we could hope for. We had no issues with anything at this resort. The food was better than any other resort we have been to. There is such a variety of food- something for everyone. People go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The entire place is clean and tidy- inside and outside. It looks exactly like the photos you see on the Internet. I like the fact that they speak English and any employee will stop and visit with you. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahai' Principe Sian Ka'an

Fantastic trip.Lots to do and the staff is friendly.The trolley is ok maybe a 5-10 min.wait so if you booked dinner reservations leave earlier as the trolley is unpredictable.The beach is ok in the adult area but small and if you walk further to the other Hotels lots of shells.The buffet had plenty of variety but the dinner buffet almost offers the same menu as lunch.Dinner reservations are available but the times for dinner were limited and we had to rush for early dinner times.Entertainment ex [... read more]cellent and very professional.Rooms clean and air conditioner quiet.Being on the golf course is beautiful set in the jungle.Flight great going home only 3 hours to Toronto but hotel picks you up way too early to get to airport .The one issue was breakfast opens at 7 a.m.so we did not get any breakfast on departure as we were picked up at 6:50 a.m. for a 11:40 noon flight Overall great trip and would recommend it.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent family resort!!

Beautiful grounds, excellent food and beach!! We had a great time and would definitely return. The kids water park was wonderful. The resort is great for families, lots of activities. Lots of selection at the buffets and loved all the fruit.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Over crowded resort!

We booked our stay to Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana ( Royal Golden ) when we arrived we were upgraded to Luxury Grand Bahia Esmeralda ( adults only ) only good thing about that upgrade was the fact of having no kids around the pools screaming and splashing same for the buffet res. Normally don't write reviews because we went to Punta Cana 5 times before and never had problems but honestly this time it wasn't a great stay..... An overprice resort, can't have a good spot with space to breath on the beach no matter what time since the spot you have gets overcrowded by the minute so you're basically touching the other chairs with your own, feeling invaded and no space to move while sitting on your chair. Water itself 4/5, beach area 2/5. Pool sides were nice and a bit more private, 4/5. Way to much walking around the grounds, it gets annoying to get on the shuttle to get around. Nightly shows at your complex were lame, boring and very short since the main shows are held at the Bahia P.C but not worth going since again overcrowded and lots of kids 2/5. Were allowed to book 4 a la carte dinner, that was unfair since we couldn't even get 1 reservation throughout our stay since it was all booked 0/5.... Buffet food was repetitive , tasteless and cold meat was either under/over cooked when you asked them to reheat or cook it more/less they said no and many nights by 7;30pm they would ran out of certain food... Breakfast food was just your simple every day food nothing special like a station for fresh crepes, waffles ect every other resort we stayed at had those little extra which was good. Overall food rating 1/5. Lobby bars were small, boring and just no life at all, 1/5. Room was very simple expected more for the $ paid, 3/5.... Our room was on the 4th floor only room, way to many stairs to get to it after your day 2/5. Staff, most don't speak english and many pay more attention to their phones then clients, not the most friendly staff and service is slow, 2/5. Not impressed at all with our stay, pricing is very high for what you get. Overall rating this resort is only a 2-3 star out of 5, would not recommend at all to anyone. Stayed as a couple end of January, 2017.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great facility - Great people

The grounds are very clean - rooms on the lux side are very clean; lots of space. Bar staff very friendly. Beach on Lux side nice and quiet but beach on Grand side is natural and much larger. Food was great - Japanese restaurant not the best but all others were great. Lux side buffet is awesome for breakfast and the lunch buffet by the pool is huge! Would definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Value is terrific

A great resort and reasonably priced. The family especially enjoyed the availability of all the facilities, cleanliness, and very good buffet. The infinity pool, and adult only section are really nice.

Friendly service, a little slow, would go to ala cartes more. Buffets are the same but good . Very out going workers, very appreciative . For the price a 7 outta 10. Great entertainment too!!! Lovely beach, clean I found . Great pool side activities if your into that

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Delightful visit to the dR

Everything was in place to make this a wonderful respite from old man winter. Resort was wonderfully small yet well appointed with everything we needed. Didn't have that "city" feel when there just too many guests for the size of beach and restau etc. Whale watching was best ever.

The resort is well maintained and very beautiful. There is only one building with ocean view and unfortunately we weren't in it. The beach area was clean and raking was done throughout the day to get anything like seaweed that washed ashore. Snorkelling wasn't great, but we did see a few fish. The rooms were large with lots of space to put your clothes. The bathroom was also large with a walk in shower and a jet tub. It was a bit dated and slightly dirty (walls), but again lots of space wi [... read more]th 2 sinks. The food wasn't great and very repetitive and the service was slow. Some days we were over half way done our meal before drinks or coffee arrived. I did notice that French speaking people were served better, I am assuming it was because resort staff speaks Spanish and French. The restaurants were okay, but again the service was slow. The Brazilian Restaurant was the best food by far and best service. The entertainment was awful and there was nothing to do past 7pm until it started at 9:30. There is no hot tub and the pool is closed at 7. No lights on the tennis courts or area with pool table and the attendant leaves at 7 so you can't get the equipment anyway.

The grounds were well kept; food great and lots of variety; lovely spacious rooms; staff friendly and very helpful; and the nightly entertainment was just fabulous. Had a wonderful time there. Would return again.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great place especially for kids and elders

Just came back from this place and we enjoyed it. We traveled with our 18 month old and were very pleased staying here. We had a lot of fun at the beach which had a bit of algae but very clean. It was also very stroller and wheel chair accessible with wooden paths going very close to the beach The shuttles came very often and was very practical to go everywhere. We only ate at the main buffet as its easier with our baby but service was friendly and food was good and a lot of variety [... read more]. Rooms are big, spacious and clean but not the most comfortable beds.
