Riu Negril: AMAZING STAY AT RIU

This resort was beautiful, from the minute that you drive up you have to say wow....The lobby is open from you come in right to the beach and it is just breath taking. The service in this resort is impacable and the staff is extremly friendly to all the guest even the guest are friendly to the staff. The restaurant and bar staff are very attentive to all your needs. The rooms are cleaned every morning and mini bars are re-stocked. Catalonia Montego Bay: If you like my comments...this is the place

Music blasts from 10 AM till 2 AM Daily soup is almost same every day, except flavour is added, i.e. chicken, beef, pork, sea food. Only three restaurants are included, Japanese is $20 extra per. Food and beverages services are not Holiday Inn, but local independent company runs them. Room have noisy a/c that comes on every 5 minutes for 3 minutes, 24/7 If you want to sleep at night, too bad. Your next door neighbour is so loud, that you can't fall a sleep. And it is on top of 15-20 or so people [... read more] "dancing" to disco loud music until 2:00 AM. If you like all of above, come. If not, DO NOT. I will not recommend this to my worst enemy, but I do not have enemies. One family deprives poeple with rserving 8 chairs every day in shade for 6 hours, only to come for 1 or 2 in the afternoon. They put their stuff on chairs at 3 AM to make sure....you know the people like this... Bottom line - you get what you pay for. This is in the bottom of my list of all Carribean resorts I have visited for last 25 years. If you decide to come, ask to be in building 5-7, as far away from main lobby. Unless you like 100 dBa noise.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Amazing time at Grand Lido

The hotel was clean, the rooms are huge, especially for 1 person. I went there with my husband a few years back and the staff remembered me. They are truly nice, funny and great cooks. There are 2 areas to the hotel. A quiet side and a clothing optional side. It was a choice, but you never felt uncomfortable. The food was awesome at the asian and italian restaurant and the bbq's at the beach and the pool. I loved that there was a coffee restaurant with espresso and spanish coffee. I walked the l [... read more]ovely beach and felt completely safe alone because security makes sure I give my room number when I leave and come back. Oh ya, they have grapefruit and cranberry juice. Not many places offer that. I didn't spend any time at the pools as the beach is amazing. So calm and you can swim all day, but wear sunscreen. It tricks you when you're in the water. Over all, very VERY satisfied.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great Resort!!

Small resort, very friendly staff. Rooms, pools and ground kept clean. Not a big variety of food, but everything was great. Plenty of excursions to do, I would recommend Catamaran to Dunn's river falls.

The Oasis at Sunset: best ever!

service was great. we enjoyed all the little perks that came with staying on the oasis side.my hubby was able to smoke in the smoking areas, even made a few friends there! beach was calm and beautiful,we"ll definately go back

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful resort

Over all excellent family oriented resort, pleasant and helpful staff, very clean, nicely laid out easy access to all beaches, pools, and bars. Rooms where large with whirlpool tub and well stocked mini fridge.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic resort

The hotel is very nice . the pools are exceptional along with the waitresses and bartenders. ala carts are the best I have had . Upgrade when you get there it is so worth it. been there twice now both times we were treated very well.

I thought the main rooms of the hotel and the guest rooms were very nice. The lobby and the balcony around the hotel was super pretty. The beach was a bit of a walk from the main areas of the hotel which wasn't great. The pool was really nice, though. Two swim up bars and lots of chairs around. The service was adequate - no wow factor. Some of the staff were really accomodating and helpful and some acted as if we were bothering them. The food was quite good at every meal.

The Oasis at Sunset: GREAT VACATION

AMAZING VACATION FOOD, DRINKS.LOCATION, BEACH,POOLS,GROUNDS ALL WONDERFUL.THE HOTEL IS OLDER AND THE ROOMS ARE ON THE SMALLER SIDE BUT THEY ARE WELL MAINTAINED AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. THE STAFF ARE SOME OFF THE BEST IN THE CARIBBEAN. WILL BE BACK

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic beach

Its a really nice beach and very quiet/private albeit on the smaller side. Good snorkelling right off the beach. The resort is very well managed and everyone will have fun. Food is decent but nothing exceptional so are the drinks. For the price you won't go wrong specially with kids.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great stay

We stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Febuary...very clean,great staff,nice house wines,nice beach...food was prepared with great care Found our room to be quite damp as the week went on..4 th floor great view...think maybe the air conditions system was working the best

Couples Negril: Simply Amazing

Second time back and had a great time. The staff make this place and treat you like family. There was a couple of items at the resturants that disappointed us, but for the most part was top notch. Beautiful resort on a great strech of Bloody Bay.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great resort. Will come back again

The resort was great. Rooms were clean spacious and nice. Food was fantastic. Great selection and always a Jamaican section which we loved to have choice of eating local foods! Entertainment was good. Liked how they showed you a bit about Jamaican culture. Beach was amazing. Water so beautiful clear and warm. Staff were friendly.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Wonderful Resort with the Friendliest Staff

This resort has beautiful grounds with a great pool area and outstanding beach. There was "No Problem". Always could get a lounge near the pool or on the beach, in the sun or in the shade. All of this and helpful staff too. We will go back.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: One of the best places we ever stayed at

We had a fantastic stay at the Royalton. We we're a bit skeptical about going to another all inclusive resort since the last one we went to was not a great experience. However, the Royalton was able to change our minds. Everyone has different things they look for in a resort so what I like might not be for everyone so here goes: My wife and I are 30 and 28 respectively. It was a fully booked resort when we went to the Royalton in February 2015 yet we didn't feel like it was crowded. We were able to walk around freely and without being subjected to lineups anywhere. First and foremost, the food is fantastic! We are very concerned about the food since when you stay somewhere for 7 days, you want it to be good. The buffet always had fresh fruits, fresh veggies and very good selections of food. I always ate lunch at the beach where they had an open pit BBQ where they cooked Jerk chicken along with roasted potatoes and other sides depending on the day as well as a great jerk sauce to go over it all if you wanted. You NEVER had to wait for a restaurant which we were skeptical of at first since the last place we stayed you had to book every a la carte dinner and the last place we stayed at overbooked their restaurants and we could never even book a meal! We ate at all the a la carte's at the Royalton and the only one we had to wait for was the Steak house restaurant and even at that it was like 2 minutes...and you're on vacation so even if it was 10 minutes, go get a drink and wait :) The Japanese restaurant does require a reservation. You can book it between 9AM-1PM and we had no problem booking it. The beach was clean, seats were always available and had a great view. I saw a lot of people on past reviews say that the beach was not nice or not big enough...I dont know how big of a beach you need or would want but we were quite content with what we had. The bartenders are great too..in fact the entire staff is so friendly and genuine. We never heard a "no" the entire time we were there. Always smiles, joking and truly made us enjoy things. There were a few pitches for a breakfast at the steakhouse (which we already expected after seeing others post about it) but they were not pushy and it really didnt bother us. There were a few people and merchants that would walk the beach trying to sell things but they were so tame that it didn't affect anyone...We talked to a few of them and they were just happy go lucky people and when they did offer you anything and you declined they instantly wished you the best and left you alone. I honestly can't complain about anything about the resort...although I'm sure if I was a pessimist I could TRY and find things but I chose to see all the good stuff from it and I would definitely return to this resort in a heartbeat. If you want a big party atmosphere, this may not be the place. It's low key but still has some nightlife and lots of things going on in the day (beach volleyball, pool games etc) but it's not a hookup place for singles. The only thing that wasn't according to plan was our room assignment. When we arrived, many from our group were issued a "non luxury" room that had a partial ocean view but also a view of the maintenance buildings and cook house and cleaning supplies locations...really not a big deal but we did inquire about it. They said they were overbooked and said we could transfer rooms when it was available. Some got theirs the next day, we got ours two days later BUT we were compensated for the difference in room prices by our agent. Some didn't get compensated but we did so try for it but in the end I dont think it would have soured our trip. Besides, we were barely in the room anyways. One other thing to point out was one night our AC stopped working. We weren't sure what to expect of maintenance but we went and told reception and they said they would look at it. We then went and ate supper, had a drink and when we returned it was WORKING AGAIN! We were very impressed by the fast turn around. We will definitely return to this place!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: GRAN BAHIA PRINCIPE, RUNAWAY BAY, JAMAICA

THE RESORT ITSELF IS LARGE WHICH LEADS TO A LOT OF WALKING. THE POOLS, SWIM UP BARS AND BEACHES WERE EXCELLENT. THE NIGHT TIME ENTERTAINMENT WAS AVERAGE AT BEST. THE BUFFETS WERE AVERAGE BUT THE A LA CARTES WERE EXCELLENT. THE KARAOKE BAR WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP - GREAT FUN. THIS COULD BE A FIVE STAR RESORT WITH BETTER WINE AND WHISKEY, REFILLS OF FOOD AND BEER ON TIME NOT AFTER THEY HAD RUN OUT, AND MORE DETAILS TO SMALL THINGS.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Amazing family resort.

The resort was very well looked after. Staff were very freindly and helpful. We booked 3 rooms as a family and they were all together. Disappointed that everything seemed to close at 6 pm. Pools, bar at the pool etc. Food was good but could have used a little more variety.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great Resort, Great Times!!

Beautiful smaller resort! Was my first time in Jamaica, very beautiful Country!! Food was amazing, clean resort, very friendly people. Night life could have been a little more exciting but everything else was perfect!

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: amazing beach, average resort

I've been to different resorts and this one didn't measure up to others. The restaurants we're average, the entertainment was average at best, only one washroom on resort, not very close to anything, rooms didn't get cleaned very well and way to much staff trying to sell you "stuff", but the beach was extremely nice.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Wonderful Family Vacation Without Compromise!

We just returned from this gorgeous resort and can't wait to return! My husband, myself and 3 children had an amazing time- kids are 8,6,4yrs old. Jamaica has been a favorite destination with Sandals top notch before kids so we will thrilled to find a family resort with these standards! Rooms were beautiful , clean, mini bar refreshed, huge shower and whirlpool tub. The restaurants and buffets were delicious with theme nights but still great variety for kids. Is like to send out a special thank you with hugs to Sunshine, Candy, and Spice at the kids club! Our kids begged and nagged to go to the kids club every day and made fast friends giving my husband and I some alone time without guilt!
