Rooms On The Beach: relaxing stay

we had a great time here very relaxing staff was helpful and life guard was always on top of things. lol rooms were dated but clean. location was great easy access to all amenities in town, cruise ships coming into port were neat to watch.

Toby's Inn: Toby resort review

Ground were well kept, room were very clean, pools were clean and welcoming. Some cosmetic/ maintenance issues could be updated example bathroom door had peeling paint, but bathroom was very clean and updated. Meals were good and average.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Overall very good

Would recommend this resort. The Food, rooms and grounds are all very good. Entertainment is excellent. it is a more economical trip than Sandals and the atmosphere is more lively. If you are looking for a couples getaway you would likely prefer Sandals. Groups would feel very comfortable here.

Couples Tower Isle: Exceeded expections!

This resort was suggestions by out travel agent for our honeymoon. This was our first visit to Jamaica and our first adults only resort. We were beyond pleased with the hospitality, food, hotel clenliest, and staff during our stay. I wish some of the nightly activities started earlier but those we did attend where great.

Sunset Beach Resort and Spa: Loved the resort

Very nice resort. A little bit older but very clean and well maintained. The overall layout was very spread out and had lots to do for activities. Good employees except for the water activity personal. We found at times they would sooner be some were else.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Still a Jewel!

The resort is a wonderful destination for families with a beautiful beach, great activities, food and most of all an amaizing atmosphere. Everything is open air except for one a la carte. Never an issue to beach chairs at the pool or beach. On our departure day, the hotel was at full capacity and never did it feel over crowded. I recommend the Junior suites for families if you need the extra space (addition of cots). Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great resort -

This is a small resort. Excellent for families with children. Staff very accomodating & friendly. Cudos to Leland @ the front desk & Eggboy. I would definately go back to this resort - had a fantastic time..

Couples Sans Souci: Amazing Resort!

We just returned from our 12th trip to CSS. We are in awe every time, from the moment we get there, the views are spectacular and the pathways so fun to explore. Our favourite room category is a 1 bedroom ocean suite, with a huge, private balcony. The resort is set on 3 different levels and we prefer the top level for the beautiful views it affords. We spend most of our time at SSB, but did visit the mineral pool as well. It is so quiet there and we enjoy the access to the ocean. Just take a few steps down from the pool and head out through the arch. The A/N beach is unswimmable unless you have water shoes due to rocks. The beach does change quite often due to the White River which flows into the ocean and causes the sand to shift. We don't spend any time at the main beach but it is very nice, as we have walked out a ways to check it out on occasion. The pathways and flora and fauna are spectacular and all add to the romantic atmosphere of this resort. We so enjoyed just wandering every day and discovering something new each time. Crackers, the resident parrot, is so adorable, we visit him every morning and he would welcome us with a hello and a goodbye when we left him. The staff at this resort are second to none, we have made so many friends over the years and are always sad to leave.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Not a 5 star resort

This is not a 5 star resort. Most of our group had issues with their room and room service. Water leaking out of show, poorly lit rooms, late room cleaning, no towels in room. Entertainment was poor - only 2 good shows Michael Jackson and Bob Marley. If you rode the elevator you were approached all the time about their "vacation club". Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Resort is beautiful

Place is very nice, good for families or just to have chill relax vacation, nightlife is somewhat limited. Beaches are nice but small there is public beach just a walk away which is beautiful and can rent kite boards on the way.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Nice but time worn

The hotel was very family oriented. The fact that there was a designated adult beach and pool was fabulous as we were not travelling with children. The food was very good. You had to pay at the Japanese restaurant and for extra like surf & turf at the Seabreeze. The rooms were very basic but clean. Although we did have 2 cockroaches in our room they moved us immediately and we never saw another one nor had anyone else we spoke to. The people were very friendly and helpful. Maintenance was being conducted in building 7 which should have been done on the off season as well some pool maintenance should have been done. The pool and hot tub was clean and chairs plentiful at the beach and the pool. The resort was very safe - patrolled regularly. There was not a beach to walk on as they were broken up in areas and you could not leave the resort and walk the beach like other places.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: disappointing

Grounds are nice, neat. Nice beach and pools. Food was better than most. 3 different bars on 3 separate occasions ran out of select drinks with no care or concern to restock. NO towel service for three days! People were angry, rightly so. C'mon Bahia, this is minimal expectations when we vacation! We booked here because we really liked the service in Bahia Principe Mayan. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Everything it says and More!

Had a wonderful vacation at this resort. Food was amazing, beaches were great and the staff is always pleasant and accomodating. You have to remember you are in Jamaica, so service isn't as fast as you are used to.

Riu Negril: AMAZING STAY AT RIU

This resort was beautiful, from the minute that you drive up you have to say wow....The lobby is open from you come in right to the beach and it is just breath taking. The service in this resort is impacable and the staff is extremly friendly to all the guest even the guest are friendly to the staff. The restaurant and bar staff are very attentive to all your needs. The rooms are cleaned every morning and mini bars are re-stocked. Catalonia Montego Bay: If you like my comments...this is the place

Music blasts from 10 AM till 2 AM Daily soup is almost same every day, except flavour is added, i.e. chicken, beef, pork, sea food. Only three restaurants are included, Japanese is $20 extra per. Food and beverages services are not Holiday Inn, but local independent company runs them. Room have noisy a/c that comes on every 5 minutes for 3 minutes, 24/7 If you want to sleep at night, too bad. Your next door neighbour is so loud, that you can't fall a sleep. And it is on top of 15-20 or so people [... read more] "dancing" to disco loud music until 2:00 AM. If you like all of above, come. If not, DO NOT. I will not recommend this to my worst enemy, but I do not have enemies. One family deprives poeple with rserving 8 chairs every day in shade for 6 hours, only to come for 1 or 2 in the afternoon. They put their stuff on chairs at 3 AM to make sure....you know the people like this... Bottom line - you get what you pay for. This is in the bottom of my list of all Carribean resorts I have visited for last 25 years. If you decide to come, ask to be in building 5-7, as far away from main lobby. Unless you like 100 dBa noise.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Amazing time at Grand Lido

The hotel was clean, the rooms are huge, especially for 1 person. I went there with my husband a few years back and the staff remembered me. They are truly nice, funny and great cooks. There are 2 areas to the hotel. A quiet side and a clothing optional side. It was a choice, but you never felt uncomfortable. The food was awesome at the asian and italian restaurant and the bbq's at the beach and the pool. I loved that there was a coffee restaurant with espresso and spanish coffee. I walked the l [... read more]ovely beach and felt completely safe alone because security makes sure I give my room number when I leave and come back. Oh ya, they have grapefruit and cranberry juice. Not many places offer that. I didn't spend any time at the pools as the beach is amazing. So calm and you can swim all day, but wear sunscreen. It tricks you when you're in the water. Over all, very VERY satisfied.

Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: Great Resort!!

Small resort, very friendly staff. Rooms, pools and ground kept clean. Not a big variety of food, but everything was great. Plenty of excursions to do, I would recommend Catamaran to Dunn's river falls.

The Oasis at Sunset: best ever!

service was great. we enjoyed all the little perks that came with staying on the oasis side.my hubby was able to smoke in the smoking areas, even made a few friends there! beach was calm and beautiful,we"ll definately go back

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful resort

Over all excellent family oriented resort, pleasant and helpful staff, very clean, nicely laid out easy access to all beaches, pools, and bars. Rooms where large with whirlpool tub and well stocked mini fridge.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic resort

The hotel is very nice . the pools are exceptional along with the waitresses and bartenders. ala carts are the best I have had . Upgrade when you get there it is so worth it. been there twice now both times we were treated very well.
