Sol Palmeras: Amazing Veradero

The lobby area and front have all been renovated and were clean and very modern looking. The physical buffet hall was clean and well serviced. There was very enjoyable vocalists in the lobby every evening after dinner and all were great. There was also a small kiosk for cigars and rum in the evening that was convenient tho the staff didn't speak English very well.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Excellent Vacation stay

We had an amazing 7 days in Cuba and cannot wait to go back! Our resort was fantastic with stunning views from our second floor balcony. Such friendly people that teated us like a good friend, we felt very welcomed and truly enjoyed our stay. We read a lot of reviews complaining about the food and I was expecting it to be much worse than it actually was, I found it to be quite acceptable for "buffet" style. Be prepared to tip!

Melia Marina Varadero: Great place

The hotel was perfect. It was always clean. The personal were very polite, profesional and friendly. I enjoyed the shows beach and swimming pool and music. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends.

Los Delfines: Best Location

This is our second visit to this hotel and we refuse to stay anywhere else. Perfect place for travelers who like to explore their surroundings, as everything is in walking distance. We stayed in the ocean view room and listened to the wonderful sounds of the ocean every night. The nightly music and shows were directly under our balcony and we could watch it all from our perch. It shuts down about 11:30 pm so no need to worry about sleep interruptions. Hotel Villa Cuba: Absolutely stunning!

Since this was my first vacation, I had the most amazing experience! Live music every night and activities during the day was outstanding! Everyone was so courteous and friendly and very helpful and patient considering the fact I speak a little bit of Spanish. Best time of my life so far! Would love to go again

Barcelo Solymar: Less than impressed

Customer service was terrible, no full size shower towels in my room. Also called the front desk about toilet paper after an hour I walked to the front desk to complain then three hours later toilet paper was dropped off at my room. Was told it was off season, my question is why did I get a room in such poor condition?

Barcelo Solymar: Five time client

My friends and I have been coming here annually for the past 5 years. We know what to expect both shortcomings and strengths. Rooms are standard for Cuba and may have some small issues. The resort itself is clean and caters the the crowd that it attracts ( more on this later). Food could be better, but hey this is Cuba and if you are a gourmet then this is not the place you should coming to. The resort is within walking distance of the Varadero Strip, which includes popular venues such as The Beatles Bar, Calle 62 and The Havana Club. Because of this the resort attracts a greater number of visitors (many of who have stayed there before) who enjoy letting loose and having good time. Despite some shortcomings this resort offers good value.

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Excellent resort and location

The resort is ideally located on a beautiful beach and the main street of the town. it is very safe. It has 2 Alacarte dining rooms and an exceptable buffet. The entertainment is good with a variety of shows.

Grand Memories Varadero: Quite adequate

Rooms a bit tired. Such friendly staff. Close to the beach.very safe. Food is not bad but ok for Cuba. Remember that you don’t go to Cuba for the food, but for the beaches, the people and Grand Memories has it all.

Resonance Blu Varadero: memories varadero

buffet was so so but the a la carte did not provide the enhanced dining experience that they usually do. very large resort enjoyed myself great beach but the nautical activities were limted to tiny alloments of time.

Melia Las Antillas: Beautiful beach

Beautiful beach, safe and sound. Always wanted to try Cuban food as usually people complain. It was good, different cuisine of course (thats why people travel the world) but good. There was always grilled seafood, pizza, pasta in case you don't like Cuban food. Mediterranean restaurant was great. The bathroom was a little surprising after being in mexico. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort

We just came back from Cuba. We where in Iberostar Laguna Azul. We had great time, service vas greatest, staff in hotel are great, hotel is wary clean. This is our second time in same hotel, we are planning to go back agen!

Hotel Los Cactus: Home away from home

This hotel formerly The Breezes has been our go to place for many years. Owners/Managers come and go, the staff continues to please us, smiles every day and a desire to ensure any problems encountered are handled promptly. Cuba is a communist country not capitalist as we are but the people are warm, friendly and respectful. I will not bore you with the pros and cons about food, drink, hotel rooms, what I will say is a week,10 days or whatever time you spend will be very relaxing and whatever  [... read more]stress you have in your life will vanish. The beach is amazing, the weather so much warmer than here, sports if you desire, many sites to see or not. We have tried other hotels in the area but always return here, it's fun and economical. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Awesome resort

We spent a week Oct 28 to November 4 the resort is latyed out beautifully and the grounds and staff are amazing always a place to sit at the beach or pool anytime of the day our maids and butlers were so happy and always did the most creative towel art we can’t wait to return

Playa Vista Azul: Disappointment for First Tima Cuba Experience

This hotel was nothing like I expected. Terrible food, rude staff, dirty bed sheets and towels. Food and alcohol were limited. Pay per use wifi. A bit of a walk to the beach from our room. Would not stay here again.

Hotel Tuxpan: Amazing beach and staff, the resort, not so amazing !

Club Kawama: Satisfactory

Had a good room. Many guests we spoke to said otherwise. I would however spend the extra 100 or so for a better place. The servers were not as eager to please as other resorts I’ve been to. The food was the same in buffet , day to day. Beach was fine, but service was so lousy at all bars, that we went and bought our own booze to have..... Maid was most pleasant person working there.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: We were spoiled 😊😍

The staff of the hotel are overwhelmingly helpful and friendly. The grounds were clean, the hotel was immaculate. Although, the rooms need updating, they were kept clean. Service with a smile throughout. The food was very acceptable, by Cuban standards. I would say it was above par. I really enjoyed the ice cream boutique. The beach was perfect. White powder sand, plenty of chairs and shade. The water was perfection. We had a great time and would absolutely go again to the Royalton Hicacos, Vara [... read more]dero.

Grand Memories Varadero: Excellent resort

Amazing resort with white sandy beach. Everything you want. Clean and beautiful. Amazing staff and personnel. Thank you Liza, Jorge Rodriguez, Chaxxi, Sandra, Daniera and the rest for making our stay so memorable. Food selection was amazing. Excellent customer service. The resort is EPIC. It definitely exceeded my expectations.A big thank you to all.
