Starfish Varadero: Splendide hotel et acceuil chaleureux

Le personnel est toujours au petits soins et super gentil et attentionné., La plage et la mer Wow un coup de coeur , la propreté et même la nourriture mérite d'aller faire un séjour au Starfish Varadero. Tranquilité assuré si comme moi vous voulez vous reposer ainsi que vous faire traiter comme un reine par le personnel qui est toujours à l'écoute de vos besoins. Memories Jibacoa: Things have changed

Hotel not the same anymore. After travelling almost 10 hours to get there we find our toilet broken which took twelve hours to fix. The Diamond Club is not a necessary addition considering all the things they offered for free over the years is now available for $15 per day per person to get these things. Food was terrible in the buffet but the a la carte restaurants were good. The beach is a disaster both in and out of the water with rocks everywhere making is difficult to navigate. Grand Memories Varadero: Very good resort for the money we paid.

Amazing resort, great staff, excellent customer service, great food, I recommend this hotel. EXCELLENT beaches,Havana down town and Tropicana show was amazing.will go again for sure. Lots of entertainment, activities at the beach and pool side,

Starfish Varadero: Much less than expected

First off, we weren't made aware that half the resort was shut down for improvements. Secondly, first day we had to request a room change due to toilet not flushing properly. Third, not a white towel to be had. Every towel in our room was once white and now are grey and stained. Forth, beach towels were only switched out twice all week. There wasn't clean ones each day, the ones we did get were like the room towels, stained with holes. Sol Palmeras: Good value

The rooms where clean and the grounds were well looked after. Not enough of a variety when it comes to the food. There was no food from 3.30pm-6.00pm. The alcoholic drinks are watered down. We were on a budget and for the money that wr spent,I felt we got good value. The entertainment at night wad excellent .

Melia Marina Varadero: Amazing Beaches

Where do I begin?? Flight was fine and on time and transportation to and from the hotel was great! The staff at the hotel were gracious and kind.The hotel looks good however there were some serious deficiencies The food at the buffet was always cold, never hot even when we were first in line for any given meal.The mystery meat was limited and always cold. Our room was adequate with extremely firm beds but lots and lots of hot water.The mini fridge was stocked daily as promised and the maid kept it clean enough for our standards.The hotel looks shabby for a 5 year old build with lots of chipped and broken tiles, towels bars that fall off of the wall etc The pools were warm enough to swim in as was the ocean so we spent hours floating around and taking in the warm sunshine Being off season, there was plenty of space except on the weekend when the locals come to stay.Don't misunderstand me, everyone is entitled to a vacation but the hotel clearly didn't plan on the numbers for food.They ran out of most stuff 1/2 hour into the lunch. We were traveling with our young grandson and he had a wonderful time.We felt safe letting him out of our sight and he charmed everyone he met.The Cubans are very family oriented and grateful for Canadian tourism Never were we pressed for tips and the service remained the same whether we did or not. The public washrooms were always clean and there was plenty of toilet tissue and soap The weather was perfect the entire week.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Just new

Room is good but food so awful . Nothing to eat . We rented car and buying outside food every dinner From airports less than 30min Good location . We come back Varadero but not this resort . Sorry.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Cockroach Varadero

I could go on but I will make this a brief as I wish my stay was We killed 1-2 cockroaches a day in our room maid left her long black hair in our sink my wife has blonde hair... we asked for a different room and we’re never accommodated They sprayed our room thanks for the now stinking room with bugs... Not one public woman’s restroom had toilet paper all week..... Food at 24 hr ran out of fries every other day and when they had fries they didn’t have hotdog.... Club Tropical: Sad

The hotel room 1112 had mould in it. Not hot water . The people before us had this room moved out .And the rented it out to us with not changes . That's sad health and safety issues brething that shit in.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Agerage Resort

Grounds are nice . Pool is clean Hotel almost empty Entertainment was boring Food quality same not enough variety The typical cuban meals were absent from main buffet Staff was excellent Piano bar - piano broken for years

Roc Barlovento: Excellent resort

Although this is an older hotel, the grounds are very large, well kept and well laid out. There are 2 pools, one is for quiet relaxation, the other has loud Caribbean music. The beach is well catered to with lots of available water sports and a bar just steps away. there is nightly entertainment at 9:30 and a 24 hour lobby bar, for those, must have, 4 AM drinks. The food is well laid out although somewhat bland, but that is typical of the island. The servers are very attentive. There are 2, [... read more] reservation only, restaurants on the premises that serve very tasty food. All in all, it was a worthwhile stay and very good value for the money.

Roc Barlovento: We'd Go Back

We liked it very much. It was better than expected. Room was nice, clean, had hot water and pressure every time. The grounds were beautiful and clean, staff working constantly to maintain the cleanliness. Staff were polite and friendly. Food at the buffet restaurant was ok (It's Cuba!), found plenty of things to eat. Two restaurants were nicely decorated and food was good. The beach is glorious but there was some garbage here and there i.e. beer bottles, cans, syringes, plastic, on the bea [... read more]ch and in the water. We were there for 2 weeks and the nautical center was open only Sunday until maybe noon so we couldn't partake of the free water activities. The Lobby customer service rep, Henry was terrific - friendly, smiling and very helpful. Although the following is nothing to do with Roc Barlovento, we'd like to point out that the Air Transat (CaribeSol) rep was never there when she was scheduled to be which was annoying because we'd waste precious holiday time waiting for her (Leidys) to show up. She had colleagues but they never showed up either. We could have called but who wants to waste time trying to get through and spend money to contact her/him. We really enjoyed Roc and would go back.

Melia Las Americas: great vacation spot

we loved the beach and the pool areas The bungalow rooms were very modern clean and spacious Food was hit and miss Our favorite was limoncello on the beach. the resort is gorgeous and has a comfortable layout one you get your bearings. Next time we will book the elite Level They offer private breakfast, premium liqueurs and nice perks. such as not having to line up to make restuarant reservations

Melia Varadero: Beautiful Resort, Great Staff

We had an amazing stay at the Melia Varadero in Cuba. From the moment you walk through the doors till the moment you leave, the staff welcome you with open arms like family and ensure you have an amazing stay. The hotel is clean, food is good with many options, and there is always something to do. Can't thank the Melia staff for giving my wife and I an amazing 12 yr anniversary.

Be Live Turquesa: BELIVE TURQUESA friendly resort

this was our 15th visit to this hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Food was very good. Rooms are older but clean. Beach was great. Will go back again.

Sol Palmeras: Amazing beach

My second time here. The beaches are beautiful. First time there room was great. It was renovated. When I arrived this time they did not have my information, and put me in a 1 star room not renovated. Very disappointing. Had to get room change twice. Very upsetting first 24 hours, but once settled the rest of the vacation went very well. Pools could be better with hand rails on all pools that extend to the pools edge for senior and mobility issued guests.

Melia Las Antillas: Great Resort but reception and pool were under construction

We really enjoyed our stay however we were disappointed that the large pool was closed. It was under reconstruction and there was dirt everywhere. I knew the reception area was under construction but there were no reviews that I saw that warned us about the pool. Varadero beach is beautiful buffet food was okay but we really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Wonderful resort !

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Paradisus Princess Del Mar! Everything was great ! Great beaches, great restaurants, great staff ! We will definitely be coming back !

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Excellent Resort

We recently enjoyed a great time at this resort. We travel often to the Caribbean (33 times) and in the past few years have decided Cuba is our destination of choice. The Iberostar Playa Alameda is one of the best resorts we have visited. The resort is small,easy to walk around and the lay out pleasing to the eye. The food was good,especially the fish, and like all resorts tried to please the diverse tastes of various nations. The reason we enjoyed this resort so much was the staff in all areas.Except for several older, male bosses the entire staff did everything they could possibly do to make our stay such a success and we are very grateful-THANK YOU.

Sol Palmeras: Great place!

This was my 4th time there, very friendly stuff, food gets better and better with each visit. A lot of different activities for every age group. Very safe for children many lifeguards on duty. Over all 5star experience!
