Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort!!!

It was a great place and staff was awesome, especially Sunny(David Talbot)!! Entertainment was excellent, food was good and there was some walking but it was welcomed after all the food we ate and drank!!

Riu Montego Bay: For pool goers only

The resort was average - specialty restaurants were low to average, the beach was horrible and the amenities were average. The servers were below average: tables, were not cleared quickly, no special service even when tipped nicely, and 15 min waits in the a.m. for coffee. We normally choose vacations for beach and food - we were very disappointed. The highlight of our vacation was spending time at the pool bar where the servers were outgoing and entertaining.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Lovely holiday

While transfers and facilities were wonderful, along with excellent staff, there were a few less than stellar aspects. A great variety of food in the buffets, but food was never hot! Very little true Jamaican food to try either, even on Jamaica Day. A la carte restaurants were so, so with the steak and Italian being the best of those we tried. TourGuide Nicola was the best! Biggest disappointment was the entertainment. Sound was so loud couldn't stay even with ear plugs! Dancers were good but a nice band or a dance evening or some other variety would be welcome.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: large resort, too big for my liking.

my main concern was our room smelled musty, somewhat dated, torn window coverings, resort in whole was very impressive, beach very nice, service was good, area in whole seemed safe, few families with children.

Resort was clean, lots to do. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Beautiful beaches. Loved the adult only beach. Disappointed the adult only pool area wasn't bigger. Excursions offered were priced fairly.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Family loved it!

It was a great vacation. My husband and two children (3 and 5) had a fantastic time and did not want to leave. The kids club is great. I felt safe leaving the kids there with the certified nannies and they had a great time. My husband and I therefore and a few lunches to ourselves which was nice. The people who worked there were very nice and great with the kids. It was a relaxed atmosphere with kids having fun around you. The beach is nice. I did not use the pools, although my kids and husband  [... read more]did. The kids loved the shows. For an all-inclusive, the food was good. It was a great place to go if you have kids. I would not chose to go there if I did not have kids with me though as I thought it was really geared towards them. We go on vacation two or three times a year and my husband said it was one of his best vacations.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Charming old world Jamaica

Returned to the SeaGarden again this year. Staff and food were excellent. Thank you Shanika! :) Disappointing was being banned from the cove side beach for a private all day affair. Sunday's buffet was the most badly handled meal with terrible line ups, food and plate shortages. However the hotel did an excellent job accommodating those unable to leave Monday due to cancelled flights. Special thanks to the gentleman who took us to see the Macaws and Blue. Hope to see you next year!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Not good for toddlers

We just got back and we had a hard time feeding our kids. Ages 3 and 1- we couldn't take food out of the restaurants and there was no room service. So if my children fell asleep close to the meal times we couldn't feed them properly ! Also the first day we got there a lady from the uk yelled at my 3 year old to "Shut It"! He was excited to be on vacation and was jumping up and down ! The staff did nothing :(

Couples Tower Isle: Quaint and Relaxing

The couples lounge at the airport arrivals was a pleasant place to relax with a cold Red Stripe (free) while waiting for the bus(about 15 mins). Once at the resort we were greeting by smiling faces and cool towels to wash our hands and face and then a welcome drink, check in was super fast. Resort is small but very stylish, and lots and lots of staff, who are ready to help you anyway they can, very friendly staff. Loved all the activities that are included in this resort(Dunns River Falls, Shopp [... read more]ing, Margaritaville, Catamaran Cruise, Scuba, Snorkling). All restaurants were good, with lots of choices for the picky eaters. Just wish they were open every night. Premium drinks(GreyGoose, Smirnoff, Crown Royal, Malibu Rum, good Scotch) a bonus. Drinks of the day, delicious! Entertainment a little boring with the house band every night even they looked bored. Need new entertainment more often, different entertainment. Rooms were very clean and filling my fridge was just a phone call away, anytime. Left my safe open a few times with all my valuables, and cash, nothing was ever taken. Had a great relaxing vacation at Couples Tower Isle, Thanks!

Shaw Park: In need of upgrades.

Resort was small, but spread over a large beach front. Beach front rooms, just 10 steps from beach, great. Public areas were fine. Food selection was limited, but what was offered was very good. Resort needs a lot of upgrades.

Catalonia Montego Bay: amazing resort and staff

Just came back Feb 11, went with 4 other adults and 3 kids 3-12 years. Were not satisfied where are room was so told air transat rep at hotel and were moved the second day. we were there for 14 nights, last year went for 7 nights.The evening service in buffet and Sorrento was wonderful. I am not very good with names but I do remember Christopher at the Barefoot shack with all the bacon cheeseburgs ans grilled cheese sandwiches and fries that you could eat. I hope this doe's not reflect on the price because right now it is very resonable. I love the manmade island it stops the ocean waves and makes it much easier to get into it. My friend and I plan on going back next year for 10 or 11 days, I got homesick. Great service great pool great vacation.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Bet nive

Wonderful beach, food, and drinks. Staff friendly- particularly if you tip. Hotel rooms very nice and grounds well kept. Evening shows ok- I thought better shows in Cuba. Shopping trip to Montego bay not worth it unless you like overpriced trinkets- things actually cheaper at hotel. Only disappointment- barely any Raggae music. Dunns waterfall trip- no guide- there is lots to see and do but the guided trip driver leaves you at the entrance with no guidance- ask lots of questions.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Average resort

The little bungalows and the site are cute but the beach is really small, the food is average, it is noisy almost 24/7 and the service is average. Wouldn't recommend but some people we meet enjoyed it.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great resort for all ages.

Resort has very clean grounds, pool, beach, rooms, public washrooms and restaurants. There is some seaweed at the beach but you can still swim in the waters. Very family friendly- there is so much for the kids to take part in- movies, kids club, night entertainment and water park. Very relaxing atmosphere for adults who just want it quiet or it can be entertaining and fun for those who like the music nightly entertainment. The Italian is OK but the steak house is excellent and first come first served basis makes it difficult for some to get in.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Wonderful Staff and great service. Top Notch!!

We were 16 men on a golf vacation. We WILL be going back and as long as everything is the same, will most likely grow in size and make it our annual destination of choice. Wonderful Staff and great service. Top Notch!! Would highly recommend this place.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: amazing trip to Gran Bahia Jamaica Runaway Bay

The hotel was awesome...food was amazing with great service at all the a la cartes, pool was great with nice warm weather. Our room was cleaned each and every day with a turn down service at night.Shows were o.k. but enjoyed the outdoor patio at night. Michelle Black was a great singer and entertainer

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Beaches. There were ongoing activities and you could be as active or as lazy as you wanted to be. The staff was amazing and the cleanliness of the whole resort was terrific, even the beach washroom was very very clean. I hope we can go back, very, very soon.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Nice Grounds- More Family Oriented

We recommend for families, no night life other children's entertainment. Food was ok, Jerk Chicken was the best option. Buffet was subpar. Hotel was constantly running out of Wine and Wine glasses. Nice Beach friendly staff. Make sure to get off the resort, locals are very friendly. Damian was an amazing staff member who helped us organize a day trip to Negril.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Pleasantly surprised

Just got back on February 11 2015- after reading the reviews we had low expectations but I would recommend this hotel to everyone! We booked a 7 day all inclusive through trip central.... There was a shuttle bus waiting for everyone through air transat.... The rooms were holiday inn standard but clean and everything worked..... The food was great, entertainment was great and plenty of lounge chairs for all.... The beach was small and there is a lot of sea grass but we swam everyday and there is  [... read more]great snorkelling around the island.... We were ocean front in building 3 and had a great view. The food and drinks were plentiful. The pool had daily entertainment for adults and kids.... Our kids 14 and 10 loved the ice cream, popcorn and jerk hut. If you wanted to leave the resort to go to bars, there were shuttles that took you there and back... We walked off the resort to go across the street shopping and felt extremely safe...... I want to go back!

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: fantastic

great staff, variety of food for everyone, coffee fabulous. everything was clean. The entertainment was first class and lots of fun. The one minor issue was wifi... buy by the hour $5/hr or $20 per day... sometimes there were no one hour packages available. dropped quite frequently.
