Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Great Resort

The rooms were very clean. There are no fridges in the rooms unless you rented one. We asked several times for one but they said there were none available. Others had fridges in their rooms but did not request one. The food was good with a large variety of dishes. The grounds were well kept. There were a few maintenance workers that kept bugging for us to get them beer. The check in and check out were not very organized at all. We were delayed getting our rooms on arrival due to housek [... read more]eeping, as we were told. Who ever assignes the rooms should look at the resort maps. We asked to be close to our friends we were travelling with we had room 132 and they had 131 but they were in separate isles. All in all it was pretty good.

This is such an amazing resort. Rooms are spacious and clean. The buffet was the best. The shuttle from the airport was ridiculous. We sat on the bus for about and hour before leaving and then picked up 2 locals on the way. Landing time to arrival at resort was 4 hours!!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Royal Decameron

We truly enjoyed this wonderful resort. My wife and I found the food, rooms and personal top notch. The beach was well taken care of and the bar staff were always nice. I would highly recommend this resort to our friends. Great value!

Grand Decameron Panama: Amazing Resort

The Royal Decameron Panama was the perfect place for our girls' week. I am not normally a resort person but this place has converted me. Everything was better than expected. Beach was amazing, food was always fresh and delicious, grounds well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. We are already planning our next trip.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Very Nice Resort, Amazing Food, Amazing Service

We really liked the hotel as it was relatively small. The facilities were very acceptable to our needs, and the staff, service and food, especially at the Luna restaurant, made our stay especially memorable. There were lots of Beach and pool-side chairs available .... never a problem getting seating anywhere. The staff were so friendly ... we got to know many by name. Excellent, Excellent stay.

The resort was amazing. Very clean, gorgeous beach, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottages are very spacious and clean. Lots to do on the resort and the excursion were awesome. I will be returning and I would recommend this resort.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: A Good Resort

The Royal Decameron Montego Beach is a resort that needs a lot of updating. The rooms and bathrooms were quite tired and could use a facelift. The rest of the resort was quite good. The food was quite good except they don't replenish very quickly. The Pool areas were quite nice. We never had a problem getting lounge chairs around the pool. We did go to the beach at the Sister Resort next door. It's quite lovely. The evening entertainment was good and the daytime activities were fun. The [... read more] Pool bar and staff was good except always late opening. You can't even get a pop before the first bar opens. We enjoyed our stay but probably won't go back to this resort again.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Very Mexican property.

This property is very well maintained. The gardens are beautiful and the whole property is kept very clean. The food at the buffet was amazing. Didn’t bother to go to the a La Carts. Our only complaint was the rooms don’t have fridges and you have to sign to get a hair blower in your room. Otherwise the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend and go back to this resort.

Grand Decameron Panama: MEH

Panama was crazy hot and super dry at the end of March. Golf course is nice but rock hard and again just sooo hot n dry we only played 2 rounds although we planned to play more. The resort itself is was ok but dated, no coffee maker or mini bar in the room but a fridge and a complimentary bottle of water each day. Everything was extra, $16us for mini bar service ( not sure what that would include) $3.25us for a safe key( lost mine...$85us charge😳) Nice pools and the food was ok. NO BACON [... read more]😕 115 stairs from beach level to the room, no elevators! All that said the people of panama are nice but really don’t seem to care that they don’t speak or understand English. I travel a fair bit but doubt very much I’d find myself looking at panama as a destination again🤷🏻‍♂️

This hotel is "Jamacia"....it is not the concrete American style hotel. If you truly want a taste of waking up in the gardens or the next to the sea this is your spot. It's not a party resort..its a relax and have a good time resort. We travel all year long...and this resort is 5 star service..food...experience and location. If you are looking for a party resort...this is not the place for you...this is a little slice of heaven for the everyday regular person... It was our 2nd stay...5th time to Jamacia...Best resort we have stayed at on the island. AMAZING RESORT! Don't pay attention to petty reviews.

Food was just average, but grounds were beautiful, rooms were clean (but older), staff was friendly and professional and location was great. The entertainment was really good and lots of fun. Would definitely stay here again.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: very good smaller resort

Clean comfortable rooms, great pool, superb staff who go out of their way to accommodate and remember you name, drinks and preferences. Very good food/drinks. Very good bands and entertainment. Very nice grounds with good landscaping.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Our home base resort

This was the 1st year I didnt get the room I had reserved. In fact they gave it away to the wrong couple. We ended up getting an ocean view but the room was next to a building and we could hear the generator all day and night. Hoping next year this doesnt happen again.

Grand Decameron Panama: Wonderful family resort

We just returned from our third trip to the Royal Decameron and we loved it (as always). The food, drinks, and rooms are all good but what makes it a special place are the people and the variety of activities available, such as the Canal, rainforest, and simply lounging on the beach.

Our first experience in Panama was at this resort. Everything went smoothly upon arrival. Room check in was at the airport which was a very nice surprise. Upon reaching the resort we took our baggage to our room only to find there was no power and our bathroom was under construction. We went to lobby 3 with pictures in hand to show the staff. The food was amazing everywhere except our one night at the El Canal. Tuna steaks were terribly over cooked. The entertainment was typical of resorts. There were unannounced fireworks one night/morning (12:30 am) . Was a nice light show too bad we were asleep when it started. The Disco was somewhere at our end of the resort though we never went. Didn't need too. I guess the DJ figured everyone on the resort should here his playlist at volumes way beyond necessary. Trust me I love loud music but this was ridiculous. There was no iron in our room so I asked the desk if I could get one. They delivered one a short time later . Went to use the iron a couple days later and found it missing. Inquired if staff had took it and was told yes. There are only a certain amount available for everyone. This was the night before leaving. Packing up to come home noticed that my expensive sunglasses were missing. Guess whoever picked up the iron decided they needed glasses too. All in all a nice vacation unfortunately they should advertise they are smoke free. Won't return because that is our way....too many other places to see.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Relaxing, Laid Back Holiday

This is a small and basic laid back all inclusive with a strong Mexican feel. If you're accustomed to a five star luxury hotel, you may be disappointed. The rooms are plain but clean. Food is excellent with A La Carte Mexican, and Steak House restaurants. The beach is busy but the vendors are respectful. The Beach Club offers a beautiful, quiet clear water beach. The pools are clean. No long line ups anywhere. The village is safe and you can take long leisurely walks on the beach or through the  [... read more]village. Perfect holiday if you are looking for a comfortable, clean and accommodating resort. We had a wonderful relaxing week. The staff and guests were friendly - no pretences or pressure to dress or behave a certain way - you could just be your self and enjoy the Mexican sun and hospitality. Third time visitor.

Must be honest, but my wife and myself have been at this resort five times always seem to find wonderful people from all over the world and always have a great time, ocean and beaches area kept very clean.Staff at this Resort are beyond friendly ready and waiting to help you. The entertainment staff likewise are willing to take time to sit down to chat with you. Grand Decameron Panama: Great Resort

We spent 11 days at the Royal Decameron with our 3 kids (ages 5, 7 and 20). Everyone had a great trip and we all enjoyed the resort very much. There was lots of pools and areas to lounge and swim. The beaches were beautiful and clean and there was a smaller waterslide for the little ones to enjoy. The food was good and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as the buffet which always had a good selection and was different from night to night. The rooms weren’t anyth [... read more]ing fancy but were clean and served their purpose I would recommend booking an upgraded room to an oceanfront room as they were certainly a little more accessible. The one drawback was the resort did have a lot of stairs and if you had a Gardenview or Oceanview room you had a lot of climbing to do back and forth to your room. The resort is located right beside the airport which was very convenient and there were not a lot of planes coming in and out so this did not disrupt our relaxation. We visited the resort in March and we had nothing but blue sky‘s and sunshine. You couldn’t beat the weather! The staff was helpful and friendly but Spanish is definitely their primary language and a lot do not speak English. We would definitely visit this resort again!

We stayed in Building 4 from March 04th to the 20th Pro's -Great food, great variety and lots of it -Very clean rooms and resort -Very well maintained - Rustic old Mexico feel and atmosphere - Smaller resort (240 rooms) -Very friendly and helpful staff -Modello light and dark on tap (I hate Corona) -Enough Palapas on the beach for shade Con's - You have to pay 85 pesos per day to use the in-room safe (Money grab) -Loungers are terribly hard and uncomfortable. Should upgrade to th [... read more]e mesh type - Sometimes hard to get change from the front desk for tips - Nightly shows start at 9:00 P.M. which is a little late for us old people :) -No early morning coffee available near building 4 - The umbrellas around the pools are immovable so sometimes hard to find shade Tips -Don't sit under the trees on the beach for shade unless you like the birds pooping all over you (But some say this is good luck :)) -Bring or buy an air mattress for the loungers (100-150 pesos if bought there) -Book tours through Alicia's on the beach (The same or cheaper than at the hotel) -Restaurante de Mariscos Pineda & Wanda's Burgers and Ribs (Mushroom Burger) are both great places to eat
