Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Adequate Resort

The Sunscape Resort was very presentable and the staff were very helpful, there a few issues that I had to bring to their attention. First when you book for oceanview, l don’t expect to be looking at a condo and oceanview you had to hang over the balcony to see the oceanview. That was corrected and they changed the room 927(9th Floor). There are other issues that came up during our stay, such as not enough towels in the bathroom (had to call as they wouldn’t leave enough for 2 people) The 2  [... read more]elevators for the smaller tower which had 9 floors, only 1 was working for most of our stay. Sometimes we would take the stairs due to too many people in the elevator. The last day they had both elevators working. Then on the second last day before coming home, I noticed that the room had a unusual odour. I asked Rick if he could smell it and he asked me if the toilets weren’t backed up. (The smell was like sewage and I called Front Desk and had maintenance have a look at the situation.) Maintenance guy said it was the A/C,and to correct the problem he opened up the air conditioning vent and put 2 coffee packages opened to cover up the smell. So the room smelled like coffee sewage(gross smell) What they should have done is transferred us to a better room and they then could corrected the problem and not try to mask the problem.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great resort.

We just spent a week at the Sunscape Curacao Resort. This was our third time at this resort. We stayed in the Tower Building which seems a bit more recent than the other buildings. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a nice ocean view from the balcony. The four restaurants are all good. The snorkeling off the beach is great.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Lovely Resort

This is a very clean and well kept resort. People are friendly and eager to help. Food is OK could improve on keeping food hot and variety could be better. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would like them to bring back Paella day by the beach and more events like this.

Sunscape Splash: Excellent Staff

We just spent a week here with a large group for a wedding. The staff were excellent. Very friendly. The resort was very well kept as well as the rooms. The adult pool was where we spent most of our time . It was perfect. The beach was small and cramped. The food at the buffet was great .

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Was disappointed

The resort is small.. Had only one elevator working for four days.. Food was not good.. Buffet service was terrible kept forgetting to bring drink orders.. Couldn't wear a tank top to the Buffett for dinner there reason was because men are un-hygienic. Went to seaside restaurant they forgot our meals, sat for hour and 45 min finally just got up and left. Tried tiki taco resturant had large chicken bones in my burrito. The Entertainment staff, bar staff and cleaners were all the best and make th [... read more]e resort. Sunclub was good too. Wifi not so good, rooms were great. After staying at other resorts close by I won't save a few dollar to stay at this resort again there are better places

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Beautiful beach great location for beginner divers

Beautiful beach and peaceful resort. Service in the buffet could use improvement. Service in speciality restaurants excellent. Dive shop within walking distance. Safe to take town bus into willemstad. Clean resort. We upgraded to sun club, Well worth it.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Beautiful Resort

The grounds were beautiful. The room was excellent! The people were very friendly! The beach was awesome! We really enjoyed the Chopsticks restaurant! The buffets were awesome! The bar on the beach ..... large donkey and small donkey were hilarious! The hostess who was serving us drinks on the beach was amazing! It’s nice to have the geotubes there to allow us to go in the water without the waves being too much!

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Second time still a charm !

This was our second time at this resort . And no disappointments at all . Staff bend backwards to make your stay a happy one . Serving staff exceptional, maid service was good and always had a clean room and Fridge re stocked daily . Food was great . Could change up the menu a bit in the other restaurants like Blue water etc but still awesome . Over all a relaxing enjoyable vacation and yes I would go Back a third time .

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Awesome Resort!

We spent a week at Sunscape Puerto Plata. Loved the beautifully maintained grounds, the size of the resort, the staff.... Food was terrific, we tried all the a la cartes...pizza is awesome here, yum. The beach is beautiful, water nice & clear - no rocks and always someone cleaning/raking the beach....great for walking too. Pool great, loved the water temperature. Always a lounger to be found at beach and pool both. Everything was nice & easy, no hassles with anything at all, checking in  [... read more]& out, transfers to airport, scheduling excursions....no issues whatsoever. We would (and will!) definitely return to this resort...

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great Resort Sunscape Puerto plata

Room was beautiful, resort clean, pool excellent, beach wonderful, could have more activity at pool during the day. Most of the stuff was at the beach. Had a 3 hr.delay at the airport before leaving hydrolic leak. Good job they found it on the ground!!

Sunscape Splash: Great resort - super family friendly

We went recently April 4 to April 11 2018 to Sunscape Splash and were amazed by the country as well as the hospitality by the staff! Everyone is very friendly, itinerary is so intense at the hotel we did not make it all ha! Each day they have an itinerary such as bingo or tie dye shirt making. There are activities for everyone, young, old, fam [... read more]ilies etc. Beaches: We loved the fact there were two beaches, one is a bit rocky but you swim out to coral reefs (technically both you can swim out but one you have to swim farther) and the other is a more designated sandy beach. Snorkeling sessions are twice a day and free. We loved that feature. My kids were playing in the sand while one adult goes out snorkeling or we brought the kids to go kayaking (also free). If you wanted longer trips out to the ocean the Kelly Sports guys are friendly and amazing. You can para-sail, kayak, boat rides, glass bottom to see more. Hotel: Hotel was clean. Rooms clean, bed was as expected of a hotel, dressers, closet, safe, etc. Everything is a norm of a hotel room. Hot water was kind of in and out. Towel service was good and the mini bar was awesome. There are three restaurants attached that are decent. Don't expect 5 star kind of food but it was good for what it was. The buffet is always good but I have to say their breakfasts is the best compared to all meals. So many options. They have a cafe called Coco Cafe and it is always open for coffee and desserts. Features: The hotel also offers a lazy river with two big slides and a kid section with a smaller size slide. Amazing. We loved the lazy river and the slides are fast. Be wary. It is a lot of fun but jeez that is one fast slide! My kid loved the little slide with the kid sized pool. Extremely family friendly and great. The hotel has four pools, one is adult only but they other two is for everyone and one is a small kids pool close to the lazy river. Adult only pool has swim up bar. Cleaned every day! Kids club called Explorer's club. We didn't use this service much but in the future we definitely will. It's an on site day care service included to the resort and the staff there are amazing. When we did put my daughter in the club she loved picking sea shells from the beach and crafts. Every day they have a different schedule such as one day they'll go to the park, swings, sand castles, etc. It's really an amazing set of staff and schedule to keep all kids busy. Overall this resort is amazing and great for family oriented groups. Everything is there and if you need just ask the staff will point you to the right direction. Any excursions they have on site staff to help any questions. You can book from resort or taxi or whatever else you need. Loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and miss Jamaica already.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Loved it!!!

We really enjoyed this hotel. We got such a great price on it that expectations weren’t high so we were so happy when it was such a great resort! Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, the pool is nice and big, sun all day every day! All around had an awesome week, would definitely return!!

Sunscape Splash: Awesome resort

We just came back from Sunscape Splash in Montego Bay. We stayed there from April 1st to April 8th 2018. We had a fabulous time. The resort was beautiful, the sunsets where incredible, the staff where the nicest I’ve ever experienced ( and I’ve travelled a lot) the beach was beautiful especially if you enjoy snorkeling. My husband and I spent 4-5 hours a day in the water snorkeling, the fish was just unbelievable. Our girls meet many kids their age and built new friendships. They also loved the freedom and how safe they felt. We loved our vacation and we can’t wait to go back. We would record this resort.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: I'm

Sunscape Hotel is amazing. The staff are excellent the food is pretty good. Excellent swimming and snorkeling. You can snorkel right outside your door and Fisher absolutely magnificent. They have paddle boarding kayaking. Great place to vacation

Very happy with this resort...will definitely go back...all of the a la carte restaurants were fantastic from the food to the staff..the entertainment was great as we were there over Easter they had parades, I have been away over this holiday many times, but never had the kind of celebration that we experienced...The water was breathtaking and so clear..we were in the Sun Club and it was worth every penny..Kenneth the bartender was a real treat...

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Terrific experience

Resort was clean, rooms were clean, showers were awesome. Staff were very helpful, restaurants were very good, good variety of food for lunch and breakfast. Evening entertainment was good Our first all inclusive experience and we were very pleased

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Fabulous vacation

Just home from a fantastic vacation with four families, 17 in total. The resort was beautiful, grounds were well maintained. Food was excellent, a la carte Restraunts were all great. Buffets all had lots of choices. Beach was OK, geotubes in the water to help with erosion were not the prettiest site. And lots of seaweed but resort had people raking the beach all day long to keep the seaweed to a minimum. Entertainment staff was non stop, activities at both the beach and poolside areas. My only issue with the resort was we had requested adjoining rooms because we are a family of 5, we didn’t get the adjoining room, had rooms on opposite ends of the hallway. So we had to separate and each stay with the kids in separate rooms. Overall it was an amazing vacation.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Wonderful vacation

Had a great vacation at this resort. We travelled with 4 families. Kids ages ranged from 12 -17 yrs. the resort always had activities going on for the teenagers. They all had so much fun. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The entertainment staff were great and a lot of fun. The food was really good and plentiful. The resort was immaculate and staff were constantly cleaning. Would highly recommend this resort for families

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Fantastic stay

Resort was fantastic. Staff were great and very helpful and friendly. Food was good. Lots for the kids to do. Activities going on all day long at the beach and the pool. Lots of great entertainment. Very clean and well kept.

The hotel staff are amazing nothing was to big for them to help! I didn’t like the Barrier on the beach but understand why they are there. I’m a little upset as soon as we got there we were approached to buy into a travel plan which took up so much time we did by it so if anyone else got it let me know how it is.have been at nicer resorts but the staff is the best I’ve ever felt with
