Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Beautiful sandy beach.

I stayed in the ocean view room and had a pleasant experience. The room, waiters, resort staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty especially the barbequed pig on a spit!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Good resort. Extremely friendly

Hotel is not fancy but has everything you need. Food is good and water is good. Very easy to kick back and enjoy yourself. pool is in reasonable condition and the beach is kept clean. Rooms definitely need to be updated but are clean and well kept

Brisas Santa Lucia: Disappointing Vacation

This was a mediocre resort at best. I have not had a vacation for many years and was looking forward to getting away. Most staff were friendly and helpful, but I found the front desk staff were very rude. The food at the buffet was best during breakfast, but no very good at all for lunch or dinner. Not impressed one evening by three entertainment staff posing just inside the buffet restaurant and encouraging guests to stick money on their oiled-up body. Did not have a chance to dine at any of th [... read more]e à la carte restaurants since there was never space for our group of 6. Pool area was clean and lounge chairs were available most times. Beach area was nice, but there was quite a bit of seaweed. Entertainment provided in the evenings was okay. However, there were several prejudiced skits and comments made. Overall, it was a disappointing vacation.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Great resort, amazing staff

Rooms where well taken care of and in good condition. Overall the resort was very clean and in good order. The staff is incredible and go well beyond the call of duty to give vacationers a great time! The resort is beautiful in the Cuban sun and even more gorgeous during the sunset! Already looking at booking another trip as soon as I can!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Fun Week in Cuba

This was the best time we have had in Cuba - lots of great entertainment, excellent beach area and better food than expected. The hotel suffers from the usual infrastructure problems in Cuba - the elevator only worked for half the week, a lot of the hallway lights were out and the pool liner needs replacing - but everything was sparkling clean and the staff were great.

Brisas Sierra Mar: SIMPLE RESORT, NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH POOR MOBILITY

THE PERSONNEL AND THEIR SERVICE IS TOPS. MUSIC GROUPS ARE VERY GOOD, BUT NOT ENOUGH OF THEM. THE SCENERY IS SPECTACULAR AND THIS IS WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN. STAGE ENTERTAINMENT IS OK. AT THE RESORT, ONE GETS WHAT HE/SHE PAID FOR. DO NOT EXPECT ANY LUXURY AT ALL. FOOD IS GETTING WORSE FROM YEAR TO YEAR. MANY THINGS NEED FIXING, LIKE ALMOST NO WATER TO HAVE A SHOWER. THE POOL LINER IS TOTALLY RIPPED ALL AROUND. PUBLIC WASHROOMS ARE OUT OF SERVICE FOR DAYS. RESORT BICYCLES ARE A DAN [... read more]GER TO DRIVE AND ARE FALLING APPART. ELEVATORS DID NOT WORK FOR DAYS, VERY TOUGH FOR OLDER PEOPLE WITH WALKING PROBLEMS. AIR-CONDITION IN THE DINING ROOM HAS NOT WORKED FOR YEARS NOW. ALL WINDOWS ARE OPEN FOR COMFORT, BUT IT BRINGS IN A LOT OF FLIES. THE WORST PROBLEM IS THE AIRPORT CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT. THE PLACE IS TOO SMALL TO HANDLE TWO OR THREE PLANE LOADS OF PEOPLE ALL AT THE SAME TIME. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES SHOULD BE SPREAD OVER A FEW HOURS APPART. TORONTO/ MONTREAL BUSSES AND FLIGHTS ALL ARRIVE AND DEPART AT THE SAME TIME. THIS LEADS TO HOUR LONG LINE UPS. THIS TIME THERE WERE THREE FLIGHTS BEING CHECKED IN, ALL AT THE SAME TIME IN A SPACE OF A BUNGALOW. FOR ALL THESE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE THERE IS ONE SECURITY CHECK POINT. IT TOOK HOURS OF WAITING UNTIL ONE FINALLY GETS TO THE DEPARTURE ROOM.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Great times again

Staff is exceptional, place is always clean, they work to keep things up, but being Cuba, realize older hotels like this one are not the best in rooms or beds, but then how long you planning to stay in a room when on vacation?

Brisas Sierra Mar: Wonderful time

We would go back. Hotel shows its age; however, repeat vacationers galore - so must be good . Most rooms have ocean view even the garden view. 2 nd floor closer to beach , 4th closer to pool and restaurants.

Brisas Santa Lucia: brisis santa lucia

This definitely is not a 4* maybe a 3* Food just okay as it had lots of vegs and fruit What the fish as it had lots of bones Staff not friendly and looked "grumpy" only 1 pool It appears like a big resort and should have more than 1 pool not much to do in the area that was fun. But the lobster dinner was great and so was the service at the "buccaneer" restaurant safe for a family Room was okay for Cuba but the whole area needs a face lift won't be back

Brisas Santa Lucia: Good first resort

This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort. We were here on our honeymoon during the last week of January 2016. The grounds and beach were beautiful; Staff was out every day raking up the seaweed on the beach and maintaining the gardens. Plenty of chairs and spots available at both oceanside and poolside. Our onl [... read more]y real complaint though is that our room didn't have hot water (ice cold!) and the air conditioner was stuck on high without any way to turn it off. We froze our first night so we asked to switch rooms the next morning. They accommodated easily and without hassle. Our new room still didn't have any hot water at all the entire time (it was cool but not icy) but at least we could control the air in this one. We were in a country where a lot of its population doesn't even have running water, and we knew that going in, so we weren't about to complain again about ours not being hot. The air in the first room was our biggest concern. Other than that, it was a lovely experience with great sun and heat, fabulous mojitos, and friendly people. One more small note though: our tour operator told us they would provide breakfast to us before we left since our bus was leaving for the airport at 5:30am and all restaurants were closed at that time. They did not feed us, and our flight was then delayed 3 hours. the airport only had $8 pringles or pre-packaged ham sandwiches. Be warned. Bring snacks on your way back!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Beautiful employees!

Very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed the buffet food, speciality a la carte nights, excursion to Coco beach and entertainment was awesome! The pool was super clean and the beach was well maintained. The employees were exemplary!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Unique resort

Very nice ground, mountains around, almost every room is ocean view. Food is Cuban. But beach is with dark sand and a lot of bags. Nice coral reefs are close to the beach around 100 meters to swim. Workers are nice. In winter time it's the warmest place in Cuba.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Great resort

Brisas Santa Lucia was a great time. The only thing that was not helpful was the people waiting to leave and the hotel didn't feed us knowing that there's no meal on certain flights . other than that the trip was wonderful!!!!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Very nice, as expected

We went for the 5th time to this resort in past 11 years. As expected, our stay was relaxing, good food (very tasty), nice people (local and tourists). We liked the most the fact there is no motor sport activity. One can enjoy the "raw Cuba" and Caribbean Sea, as God created them. Slow paced of everything, makes me forget about stress and take it easy, relax. Scuba diving is very good, experienced dive masters which take no risks. With a little bit of persuasion and few extra pesos, we convinced the Cuban divemasters to take us to 2 famous shipwreck (more like 1 hour drive from resort, but bad road condition) sunk in late 1800's during the Spanish-American war. Full of artifacts, and 100-150 feet visibility.... it was mind blowing.

road in both directions was OK. food ok (lines for everything); room so-so (insects, no hot water, remote doesn't work] beach ok (water was cold, I think that was an exception) weather Jan 22-25 2016 was horrible very crowded place

Brisas Santa Lucia: Value for the money

Value for what i paid for. Friendly staff and great entertainment. The food needs more variety though. The beach was great, far less seaweed than in the past years I've been . I would definitely return for vacations

Brisas Sierra Mar: Beautiful Resort !

Great resort,, nice weather friendly staff the beach was very nice. The service was great by each and every staff we came across on our vacation eapecially Rene the gardener who took the time to talk and showed us the grounds. The maid service was excellent ( Marisa) she was wonderful made sure our room was replenish every day! Thanks guy keep up the great work! Hopefully we will be visiting soon again!

Food was OK. Service is very good. Rooms clean. Nice beach with dark sand, water still clear and you can see the ground below. I recomend this place, 30 degrees in January. Great.We plan a return rip sonn fo sure.

Only 3 stars but have found my annual winter getaway. Love the place despite: - Horrible service from airline. They lost my girlfriend's luggage for 3 days with others. Not the hotel's fault and am grateful to the hotel manager for going out of his way to deliver the luggage. - Elevator service was spotty. Not a problem for me as I enjoyed the 160 approx steps from the beach level to the buffet and main lobby areas. I traveled with seniors however who feared going to the beach as they could not  [... read more]climb the stairs. They really have to fix their elevator and get a backup unit. There was 2 elevators but later learned 1 has not worked for years. Not good. - Wifi service was horrible. I bought 4 passes of 1 hour each @ 2 CUCs per pass to log in and connect. Wifi rarely worked despite connecting to the router successfully. Worse yet, when I could connect, it would last for a few seconds and then disconnect. Of course, the service was still "logged in" meaning my pass expired in 1 hour unless I logged back in and "signed off". No support or advice at the hotel. This has to be frustrating as I brought a laptop along to keep up with emails and activity I did not want to share on a public kiosk PC there. Now what I liked. - Breathtaking scenery. I loved walking the beach and the surrounding resort. - The water was great at the beach and took advantage frequently. - They have a small plot of land by the beach and grow food for the hotel. This showed up in the flavour of some of the produce there. Excellent. - Although in need of some repair, the hotel is a delight to stay there and loved the layout. Just looking out from my ocean view room was simply, "Wow". - I can see why I ran into several Canadians there who have been staying at Brisas Sierra Mar every year for many years. I will be one of those people when I return next year. - I also enjoyed the "mud bath" tour. Recommended - Although there was limited choices and some shortages of food, overall, it was very good, Do not visit Cuba to a typical resort of you love thick steaks, huge cheeseburgers and other choices here in Canada. - The musicians performing were very good to excellent. There is a blind guitar player that performs there who can be best described as "Jose Feliciano meets Carlos Santana". Despite my issues, I have no hesitation returning there.

Brisas Santa Lucia: We'd go again!

This was our first time staying at Brisas Santa Lucia and our first time in Cuba. We loved the grounds, especially the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was underwhelming - adequate but that's it. We had a lovely little deck but they couldn't provide deck chairs. While everything was included, they provided us with just 3 bottles of water. When we requested more, they refused. We even tried to trade in the free booze in our room but they would not provide us with bottled w [... read more]ater! The food was a huge disappointment. While we did have a couple of delicious meals, they were in restaurants that required a reservation or a special event. Overall, we had a wonderful time but we have a list of items that we'll bring the next time we head to Brisas!!
