Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing resort!!

I was very impressed with the resort and the beach .No fighting to find a lounge chair to sit at the beach or the many pools. .The food was fabulous and plenty of restaurants to chose from .I loved the eco friendly feel of the place with lots of green floral around .Also they did have plenty of palm trees for shade on the beach. I did go scuba diving on this trip and found the dive crew friendly and had a very nice dive .I will definitely go back .

Grand Palladium Colonial: Second time here and it is even better then our first visit!

We decided to return to a Palladium resort as they always exceed our expectations. We previously stayed twice at the Palladium in Punta Cana and it fulfilled all our desires. A friend recommended the Palladium in the Riviera Mayan. So we booked at the Kantenah section and it was just perfect. This year we decided last minute. We wanted a Palladium resort and wanted to use the Hamilton airport to avoid Toronto. This time we stayed at the Colonial section. Last time we were really impressed, [... read more] this time we were blown away. The room was large and included a cozy king size bed. The meals were delicious. I thought the meals rivalled any meal on a cruise ship. The workers couldn’t do enough for us whether we tipped or not. There is a lot of walking because this is a large complex. Most of the walking areas are covered and well lit. We spent most of the time at the beach, but there are many pools. Although we are retired, we did notice that there was a fun club for the kids. The pool area for the little ones was amazing and well used. My only complaint was the fruity drinks. It seems like they used crystals instead of real juice. All in all this was a fantastic vacation and I will continue to book with the Palladium chain. Thanks Victoria at Tripcental for taking care of us.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort!!!

Loved everything about this resort. Food, drinks, service, rooms, pools, beach everything was top of the line. Better technology then any other resort! Best vacation 10/10 I would go back in a heart beat!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at this Resort. Beautiful Resort, grounds are Immaculate the beaches are beautiful and relaxing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffets had lots and lots of choices and great food. Special thank you to Chantay for the wonderful service you provided us at the buffet as well as Eugenie for the amazing crepes. Special thank you to Rodney at the adult pool bar this gentleman goes above and beyond asking you specifically how you like your drinks which was a great surprise. To our wonderful maid Paula thank you so very much for looking after us and our room you didn't absolutely spectacular job. Also a special thank you goes to the front desk staff you were most helpful in helping us adjust to the first time at this Resort and provided great customer service. However, there's a few small things that I found a bit disconcerting there is not enough hand sanitizer stations in the resort and two in the buffet area the placemats are not washed down or very rarely did I see anybody wipe them down I personally find this kind of gross as people are laying their utensils excetera that they've used and spent food falls onto the placemats and they're just not cleaned well

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Totally Awesome

This was my 5th time at the Grand Palladuim and the first time for my partner. I keep going back because whether it's the beach, pools, food drinks, staff, activities, the wild and garden areas, it never fails to impress me......Best value for money in the Maya Riveira.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Wonderful family vacation spot

The hotels were clean, well organized and well kept. Most important all of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the flamingoes and crocodiles. The shows were fabulous. Even our 3 and 4 year old grandsons loved the dancing and singing. We appreciated the environmental efforts the hotel is making for example not using plastic disposable cups thus lowering the amount of plastic waste.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort but...

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary from December 30-January 9, 2019. We were somewhat disappointed that our only option for our anniversary dinner(which actually was December 31) was the buffet! The hotel did not let us book any other restaurant because it was New Years Eve and those reservations were given priority to TRS(adult only side),Family Selection and Palladium Travel Club. They knew it was our 20th anniversary, yet th [... read more]ey did not do anything extra to make our day special. On top of that, we got swarmed by the Travel Club employees and convinced to take a tour and sit through a presentation on the morning of our anniversary! We were also promised things for attending the presentation that we were never given. What a waste of time! We were promised a couple of nights in the TRS side or at a minimum, changing our bracelets so that we could access the TRS facilities during our stay. Never happened. Although the resort is beautiful, it does not have an adult only pool available on the Grand Palladium side. There are too many levels of privilege there. At the beach we were all crammed into one section while the TRS and Travel Club and Family Selection had there own roped off section which was usually less that half full. Although our room was well appointed, there were a few things...it had a beautiful tub but the water going into it was luke warm at best. ☹️ The shower was awesome! Very large and an abundance of hot water! 😊 The beds looked way more comfortable then they actually were. ☹️ I like that they had carpet in the halls on each floor to reduce the noise of other guests coming and going. 😊 The large pool was nice but often there was music/bands playing at the same time which was very irritating particularly when you’re trying to enjoy a good book! ☹️ Daniel the waiter at the pool was amazing!😁 as well as Juan at the Indian restaurant!😁 It is a very large resort so be prepared to do a lot of walking! There are carts to drive guests but not always available when you are. We didn’t mind the walking. There are also boat taxis there too!😊 We went to the a la cart restaurants every night(except our anniversary of course☹️) without a reservation and had no trouble getting a table. The longest wait was 30 minutes. All were very good. We did the Italian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, Steak House and Indian. The last two we went to more than once. 😀 We stayed in building 15 on the top floor. Room 15405. Nice view except for the construction! ☹️ If you ask for an even number you will face the pool. By the way, you don’t have to return a towel to get a new towel there for the pools/beach. Unfortunately the down side is guests just leave them on there chairs which maks it difficult when you are looking for a place to sit by the pool/beach. Hint: If there are no personal belongings with those towels on the chairs, it’s available! If we were ever to go back to this hotel, we would only go to the TRS side.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great time!

This is a large resort and you should be in good health to really enjoy getting around. The accommodations are very nicely spread out and well done but there are 3 stories and no elevator. Seniors should request a ground floor if possible. There are shuttles but it is more fun to do it on foot. There are 3 buffets and 7 a la carte restaurants. The food is very good and the wait staff are great. The best, however, is James at the Poseidon, the seafood restaurant. Amazinging personality and a very [... read more], very good waiter. Pools range from HUGE near the centre of the resort to smaller and more intimate in other areas. All have bars of course. The main bar in the central area overlooking the main pool (Miss Lou’s) is great for shade and card playing in the afternoon and for entertainment at night. Other entertainment is also available. You can do as much or as little as you want. Get on Jamaica time, slow down and enjoy.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great Food, Rocky Water

Restaurants were all great, with a wide variety of a la cartes available. Beach was weedy during our stay, but there's no control over that. The water was rocky, unfortunately, with no good spots to go in the ocean. The pools were very nice, and there were a lot of good activities available on the resort, including archery and air rifles. There are also a large number of animals wandering the resort, including at least two families of cats when we were there. Rooms are fine but nothing special - they're not something I look for in a resort, however, so they had no real impact on me. The bed was a bit hard. Resort is close to Akumal (15 mins: snorkeling, swimming with turtles), Tulum (30 mins: archaeological site, nice beach), and Playa Del Carmen (30 mins: nightlife, shopping).

Housekeeping was not good. First day we arrived we waited 2.5 hrs for our room to be ready only to go in and c that there was someone else’s hair in the tub, floor was very dirty & sticky, as was the table. The balcony was very dirty not swept in a really long time. I requested housekeeping to come back & clean and nobody showed up, also when he/she did come we tipped good for that week, but not everything was cleaned! And most times we had to get our own drinks for the fridge, he only showed [... read more] up 2-3x during our stay . As for housekeeping - a score of 3 out of 10! Also coffee & condiments? I had to go to the front desk every day and get my own until I insisted onth bringing me some for everyday of my stay . Also went to a restaurant on the beach side and I was sick for two days after I eat when you’re vomiting the food that you actually ate at the restaurant and you know exactly what it is I had all the symptoms of food poisoning also when people go to the pool side and they reserve a chair with a book and a towel on it and it sits vacant from nine in the morning till five at night something needs to be done about that

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: So much variety

I just got back last week from staying and the Grand Palladium Punta Cana for a week stay. My mom (61) and myself (33). Pros: you can go to all three resorts so you have a lot of variety with pools etc. We didn't love our pools as they had more kids, so within 5 minutes (not even) we walked to a different pool. The entertainment was great, which included live shows with so much effort, bubble parties in the pool, night show on the beach, and so much more. The food was good and there was  [... read more]a lot of variety. We were always able to find something with liked. We also went to other resorts to eat to switch things up. That was nice option! While on the beach we never had major problems with people selling us things. We just didnt look at them and for the most part that was fine! The seaweed is worse than some days but did NOT get in the way of us enjoying the beach. The water was warm in the ocean and so clean. You could walk for miles. Cons: The entertainment didn't start until 10:00 but I'm a lightweight and like to be in bed a bit earlier. The shower, although beautiful, was not the most practical. Hard to get into and had transparent doors to the bedroom/ living area. Those two things were no big deal at all however. My suggestions: If you are with kids stay at the Punta Cana because the pool there is the best for them! I would not suggest the Bavaro. It looked a bit run down. Otherwise if you are with adults the next best thing to the TRS is the Palace. The loby has the best atmosphere during the night to socially hang out in, it has a really nice pool, and is also close to the only adults only pool in the property called "the secret pool." This pool is beautiful!!! Next time I would like to stay at the TRS is if it only a matter of a bit of extra money. That is truely a 5 star resport. We snuck in (well walked in...) and spent a lot of time there. Everything is classy and just one step further in luxury. You are treated like royalty there and have special privalages. My mom said it was to uppity up for her, but I quite enjoyed it! Overall, what a beautiful trip! Thank you for the great memories.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful resort

Rooms were very clean, towels were always fresh. Our butler randy was excellent, anything we needed he made sure we received it. The food was exceptional, any type of drink the bartenders could make. This was the second trip to this resort for us (2016). We noticed many improvements. Our suggestion would be to add a tuck in the hotel. we were surprised that we had a problem exchanging money. TRS Coral: Great Vacation!

We spent 7 days and enjoyed every minute of it. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the staff was great. We would especially like to acknowledge Miriam, Manuel, Lugo, Ceasar, Miron and Ricardo for making our vacation so awesome. Their service was impeccable. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Fabulous resort!

The hotel was wonderful. We were a large group and this hotel offered something for everyone. The walking paths away from the “roads” where the golf carts roamed, were great. The food was the best I’ve ever seen at a resort. Eating at a la cartes every night was a real treat, although the “reservation” system could use some work - or at least some education to the users. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Wonderful resort

The hotel was excellent. The way the restaurants are booked could use some work, but the ability to eat in a la carte every night was fantastic. The food was very good and there was something to do for everyone. Getting the bar fridge re-stocked on a regular basis was a bit of a chore. Difficult to figure out how the air conditioning worked but finally managed!

Grand Palladium Colonial: Some great things!

We spent Christmas at the TRS section. We had three rooms and were upgraded. Very nice facility however no beach in the TRS section and the TRS section of the beach is a bit of a jaunt. Food was sub par. COLD on more than one occasion. The best part of the TRS experience was the staff they are fabulous. Tram service also a highlight but the food issue needs to be addressed especially at the Poseidon and El Gaucho. Japanese and the French Le Boheme were good, Le Boheme was my favourite. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Beautiful Resort!

The hotel is very beautiful, with three lobbies. Kantenah and Colonial are right beside each other while the White Sands is a fair distance away. The majority of the entertainment and events take place at the Colonial lobby. The service was great, however much of the information seems to be left out. We were told reservations can only be made at two restaurants, Seafood and Japanese; this is actually not the case. You can call 5000 from your room to make reservations at all of the other res [... read more]taurants. The restaurant food was quite good, and minimal wait times at each even without reservations. Alcohol in you room is limited, but you can order a bottle to be delivered to you room if you would like something other than soft drinks, water or beer. Also not information told to us. The location is between Playa and Tulum, so depending on where you excursions are your travel time may be a little longer than some of the other resorts. I always struggle with the value at all inclusive resorts; our family is very active so excursions are a big part of our holiday. While these are very expensive themselves, you loose out of the all inclusiveness of the resort. So it is difficult for me to rate the value fairly. All in all, our family had a wonderful time here.

TRS Coral: Awesome Resort!

The resort was very nice - well kept and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a swim up room and our only regret is that we were on the shady side of the building - would have liked to have the sunny side so the swim up would have been enjoyed more.

This resort is great . A wide variety of good restaurants .The quality of service is absolutely phenomenal. Check in was very easy and pleasant . The butlers are there to make your stay comfortable. They take care of all your needs , from restaurant reservations to pick up confirmation .the service by the pool and on the beach is great . I would go back to this hotel without a doubt
