Hotel Playa Paraiso: Amazing beach

Beautiful beach with interesting tides and rock formations but also shallow calm warm beach area. Hotel clean, well equipped washrooms, variety of eating locations and generous amount of fresh vegetables and fruit, al a cartels were pleasant but not outstanding. Services was good in ala carre but mediocre to poor in other restaurants. Service in bars quick and accurate. Entertainment ongoing and energetic with good participation but evening show more glitz then talent. Overall Staff were young a [... read more]nd did not seem to be well trained. More familiar with French then English. pleasant relaxing beach resort with good value for the price.

Hotel Playa Coco: Not bad!

We have to request for another room due to TV not working, washroom light is flickering and AC isn't working. Food is typical Cuban-not bad though they didn't have ketchup during our stay. The beach is awesome and the staff is courteous.

Sol Cayo Coco: Wonderful vacation!

We just returned 1 week ago from cayo coco and stayed at sol cayo coco. We loved it. It was simple, clean and comfortable. Everyone was always friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the smaller resort, it was easier to make new friends and get to know the employees. They all work so hard. There is acsess to 2 beaches, we spent our entire time on the beach so I cannot really comment on the pool area. Playa Larga was spectacular. I will return again next spring to the same hotel.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Nice Resort

The rooms need upgrading. But overall everything was good. Very friendly staff. Variety of food selection. Grounds were well kept. Entertainment was good with different entertainers in lobby every night.

Melia Cayo Coco: Nice

Nice but desperately needs upgrades Needs maintenance of rooms Needs fresh line news and towels. Food good Service good Needs new law chairs Good vacation Nice that close to airport We like all adult Second time for us at resort..may go back if upgrades and maintenances done

Melia Jardines del Rey: The resort has lots of potential

Melia Jardines del Ray has the potential to be a beautiful resort once it matures. The staff where the best of the best!! Drinks where very good and the food was good. Feugo a la cart was amazing, they provided a birthday cake and sang happy birthday for my sisters 50th birthday!! It was so nice. I would go back again if it was a decent price

Melia Jardines del Rey: Wonderful

Bring fly repellent and water shoes. The beach is lovely but coral out in the water. The staff are friendly and hard working. There are lots of places for shade on the beach but around the main pool not as much.

Sol Cayo Coco: A little treasure

The staff make the difference with Sol. They are humble, entertaining and welcoming. They remember small acts of kindness and most greet you with a wide smile. Sol is a small, older resort, often referred to as a boutique resort. The staff work hard to maintain the resort but it does show it's age in some areas. They have been making a number of improvements and branding the resort for everyone. The resort being small, is easy to get around for those with mobility issues. There is access to two  [... read more]different beaches and two other hotels. The food is fine with a variety of theme nights. The fresh fish at the beach restaurant is excellent. Maintenance staff are very responsive when repairs are needed and the cleaners, gardeners, animation team. wait and bar staff, reception and entertainers all do a good job with some excelling at customer service. We will be back.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Nice Big Resort

Nice modern resort , food was pretty good for Cuba , rooms were spacious, beach was good in places. drinks were good,especially the specialty coffee ones. Very nice lobby and lobby bar. Would return to this resort.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Absolutely Beautiful Resort!

What a wonderful resort! Would definitely stay again. Even though it was a very large resort it did no feel that way. There was always lots of room and huts available on the amazing beach. Must see!!!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Awesome time at Iberostar Daquiri

Just got back from a wonderful week at the Iberostar Daquiri. Everything was great. I requested a room with a king bed in a newly renovated room and that's what we got. Every room has a great view of the ocean. The grounds were beautiful although some walkways are a bit worn. All in all a great week.

Hotel Mojito: Awesome resort!

We decided to go to on a last minute trip, so we didn't get to look at many reviews. We were not disappointed. This was a great resort. The drinks were great, the food was good and the staff was wonderful! It's the nicest beach we have seen. The rooms were dated but clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely go back.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Awesome Tryp!

Everything at the Tryp Cayo Coco was very welcoming .The staff was quite helpful and always friendly. The mojitos and cappuccinos were by far the best at the bar! The rooms were tidy as were all of the common areas.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Needs Improvements

Rooms: Clean but need updating. Sporadic hot water, water pressure and air conditioning need immediate attention. Grounds well maintained. Beach: Best ever! Pool has a liner?? Staff: Excellent Food: Adequate

Tryp Cayo Coco: So much fun!

The rooms were older, but kept very clean. The grounds were very beautiful with plenty of gorgeous flowers everywhere. The workers were very friendly and always willing to help in any way. The beach is beyond gorgeous with crystal clear water that was so warm.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Hotel Colonial Fantastic!!!!

Ole,The Hotel is being updated, lush grounds, beautiful pools , gorgeous beach. The staff amazing. Travelled from March 25 to April 1 2016, Will be going back to this resort only from now on. This is a quiet hotel for people wanting to relax and bring their families. Musicians play at your table during dinner and then there is live music and entertainment until 11pm. We really enjoyed our time. I went with my mother and upon arrival met more mother and daughters traveling together. We all had a  [... read more]great time and met new friends. I recommend when it comes to food, do what I did, breakfast; there's a pancake/ frenchtoast grill, they will also make grilled cheese. You have to gather the ingredients and tell them how to cook it. Or don't be creative. :-) Lunch time, there's a big BBQ outside the buffet . Dinner time; I was obsessed with the pasta/pizza station. Again I would gather the ingredients on my plate from whatever I find in the buffet, pick my pasta, ask for tabasco or wine or balsamic vinegar and get them to cook it. They would all laugh at me think i'm crazy but all the people at our table kept saying omg soooo delicious. So I enjoyed my food. There are no chefs at resorts even the five stars! The ketchup, pepper, jams, does not taste like ours because ours is filled with a lot of sugar, the pepper is white so be careful pouring it lol. They also make delicious donuts in front of the café every evening.....who wouldn't gain five pounds! I have been to many resorts in Cuba, this one is my favorite, oceanview room #3335. Building #33 oceanview all are great. So is building #16 oceanview. We also loved all the rooms around the salt water pool, really beautiful. This was the first resort built in Cayo Coco in 1993. It's Spanish Colonial style and everyday they were working on the walk-ways. ( the entire area around the salt-water pools is finished and beautiful). It's grand and affordable. Ask front desk for a renovated room, and tell them it's your first time there. :-) I miss it! I want to go back already!

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beautiful resort amazing beach

The resort was great, I would definitely go back. My sister and I went for a relaxing vacation and got just that. The beach was great if you go left or right about 100m it gets a lot less rocky. You can see tons of interesting fish right on the beach so bring you snorkel. The food was much better than expected skip the a La cart's and stick to the buffet at the beach or in the lobby. There was always lots of selection as well as grills for fresh fish and meat. We went later so we had to wait f [... read more]or tables to be cleared but if you wait the staff are more then happy to clean one off for you. The pools were clean and nice but we spent most our time at the beach. Same with the rooms they are a standard hotel room, they were always clean. We didn't have any problem. I would definitely recommend this resort big group or small.

Sol Cayo Coco: Love this Resort

The Sol Cayo Coco is an excellent all around great resort. It's clean, great food (even beef) which was good,excellent a la carts, manicured grounds and the best beaches I have ever been on. The rooms are basic but nice and cleaned everyday...the only minus was the water pressure at certain times was low and not a lot of hot water but just during peak showering times...no big deal! Try this resort for the price you can't go wrong.

Tryp Cayo Coco: amazing staff!

Rooms where a little outdated but the beaches where beautiful! The staff was very accommodating and helpful when needed. Our overall stay was enjoyable . The pools were also a pleasure but weren't my thing. I prefer the beach.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: best holiday ever!

From start to finish an amazing trip....friendly staff amazing food all around great experience. Nice that everything was close didn't feel we had to walk forever to get to anything.we would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to go to Cuba
