Palace St. Martin: quite resort

the hotel should be fully functional now with 3 speciality restaruarnt. rooms are very quite. staff is excellent. excellent beach. french side seems to deal all in us dollars. they have a full stock of any kind of drinks/alcohol

Sol Turquesa Beach: Riu Playa Turquesa

This hotel is not a real Riu and it's not a 4.5 star. The room are poor. The pool are excellent. The service and staff are very good. The beach chairs were well organise, you arrive and a man bring your chair where you want them, and when your done the chair are pick up. No empty chairs on the beach. The beach was not nice. I will not go back.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Too much loud entertainment. There was no escape.

Service and resort staff were excellent. Rooms good and clean. Food decent. The entertainment was incredible. The opera singers were world class. My only real complaint was that they are catering to a few party people at the bar around the pool, but most of the people there were over 50 and would have preferred some peace and quiet for at least part of the day. Even on the beach and as far away as my room, you could hear the PA system from the pool. There was no escape. Palace St. Martin: Great resort....

We were very impressed with the hotel, but especially the staff. So, friendly, and go out of their way to please. Great beach,and pool area was also wonderful. Clean, and tidy and easy to find a place there. The only thing that I feel would make this better is if they had more entertainment that was not in the lobby, as there is not enough seating for everyone to sit and enjoy. Riu Bambu: Perfect getaway

Resort was clean. Rooms were big staff were lovely. Food was excellent,would definitely recommend the right resorts to everyone. Lots of loungers never struggled to find a great place to sit. Animation crew were fabulous.

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Very good!!!

The hotel was great loved it!!!. The staff were very accommodating. We arrived and were put in a room facing a brick wall. Went down to the desk and asked that our room be changed. With a very small fee that changed our room to face the garden. What at beautiful site.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Great resort! Awesome staff!

The grounds were breathtaking, the food in the main dining room was delicious with a generous assortment of choices for every meal. The entertainment staff were friendly and outgoing. The bar staff and dining staff courteous and friendly. Made feel at home. Will definitely go again.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing Resort

We just got back on December 4 after staying for 4 nights. The hotel, food, service and rooms were all amazing! A definite must go for anyone. One of the best vacations I've taken in a while. Riu Hotels never disappoint :)

Riu Guanacaste: very good but not a 5star

This hotel is well looked after and the grounds was always kept clean, But the food in the specialty Restaurants was cold and there was no food for people who had a dietary needs ,So if you are looking for a hotel that caters to everyone this is not it.

Riu Playa Blanca: Nice resort

The hotel itself is modern and simplistic. It needs some boutiques as it only has two small stores with minimal items. Only a few restaurants that you have to line up in the morning to reserve....and since the hotel was not full, some of the restaurants were not open every night. Food and service was great though. Rooms modern, clean and comfortable. Pools were nice, yet one had to close for a major re-tiling job. The beach was covered in driftwood and some glass, etc as well as poop from the ho [... read more]rses that give rides. Someone needs to be responsible for cleaning up the beach by the hotel. Further down the beach was lovely.

Grand Memories Varadero: Riu Varadero 2014, October

It was a fantastic vacation! A very good location of the hotel, very good service. A lots of activities provided. A private beach with a very good service. You can go to Varadero for a small shopping, or to Havana to see show...A special "Thank you " to all staff of the hotel for a very good service.

Grand Memories Varadero: Great resort

The entertainment and the general atmosphere were the best features of the resort. The big surprise was the food. People were warning us that the food may be not to high standards, but, in fact, it was quite good. And the most important for us was the fact that we had only one rainy day out of 7.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Love this place!

I have been to this resort twice now and will definitely be going back! I love the staff who accommodate your every request and make your vacation experience amazing! The location is excellent and the weather is perfect.

Grand Memories Varadero: Good Value for the money

Hotel rooms were decent, food was 3 star rating, staff was very friendly, however royal service was not up to the title. The alacarte restaurants were hard to access and they tended to place you in the restaurant that came with the adult section. The pool in the adult section needed music as it was extremely quite.

Riu Negril: Awesome Week

The friendly staff made this a most enjoyable week. We were the oldest couple there. We loved the food and the activities the staff had to keep the young couples entertained. Walk the 2 miles of beautiful beach and take the sailboat out for a spin. cheers

Riu Santa Fe: Great place to go!

This hotel had great views, great staff and a good night life. Also, close to town and all the great things of Cabos! The buffets where good and both close to the large pool areas. The view from the infinity pool facing the mountains and marina were spectacular.

Grand Memories Varadero: Filthy motel

The hotel is more a motel. Blinds are broken, dirty stained towels, hard sand filled bed. The staff are all very pushy and tip driven. I had an experience where a waiter chased me out of the hotel after asking for a glass of wine, requesting his tip. most of the pools are closed and it is an extra fee to use the hot tubs or get room service. this is not an all inclusive resort.

Riu Ocho Rios: "WOW" yea mon

Wow what a holiday, sun, sand, food and booze. I have some problem with my knee and was given a room very far from the lobby, restaurant, pool and beach, after talking to Richard at the front desk this situation was corrected the next day, when another room became available in the main building. We went on a trip to Dunn's and i was easily able to climb to the top on the walkway, while my wife walked up the Falls with her group holding hands (she recommend holding hands as the rocks were slipper [... read more]y). The trip was over in a very short time, just enough time to drink two beers on the trip back to take the bus from the falls to the Riu Ocho Rios. We also went to the Blue Hole, the only way to explain this is "WOW" our guide Lloyd Murray was fantastic, he took pictures with on hand while guiding my wife who walked up the falls and she swam, swung and dived into the Blue Hole. Thanks to our driver Mikey, who had a very hilarious laugh he also took us on a guided tour of "Ochos", we went to The Rainbow Shopping Center where we bought some outer wear. Rainbow Stores offered to us make more purchases and take it with us and they will collect payment at our hotel (are they Canadians? so trusting) later in cash or credit card. The next day i ordered a swim suit for my wife and had it delivered in the requested time. The only sore point was no services for the disabled ( there were a lot of senior citizens with varied disability) , i spoke to the Manager and she promised to make my observation known to the management team. (she offered for one of her staff member to wheel me around in a wheel chair LoL)

Riu Palace Mexico: One of the best places we have stayed in Mexico

Food is really good. Staff is tremendous, but we have found the staff in Mexico to be good everywhere. The resort is smaller than some others, so there is lots of seats, tables, reservations, activities and loungers available.

Grand Memories Varadero: Great place! !!!!

Going by Sunwing? The support by Sunwing at the hotel is awesome. The hotel staff is really good! Food restrictions? The buffet gives you a lot of choices. All in all, the Riu is a great hotel that offers a lot to do in 5 acres of beauty. Rooms are nice and the lobby bar is busy every nite!
