Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Great luxury vacation!

My girlfriend and I took this 7 day vacation in late Feb 2019 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hideaway is like a boutique hotel inside a resort. Amazing staff, especially the Hideaway beach concierge Francisco and hideaway beach server Leo who both made our trip extra special. They both met us with a smile each morning and took care of us all day making sure we had great spots on the beach and bottomless cold drinks all day (which she makes herself..you have to try her Mojito!). Food [... read more] is great, beach is even better. The hotel rooms and grounds are all meticulously kept. The Dorado restaurant is a great spot only for hideaway guests with very fast and friendly service at all times of day. We would recommend 5/5 and would consider staying here again in the future. The on resort shows and vibe team were alot of fun and the live music at night was great to listen and dance to at night. Its a short drive from the airport which was a bonus.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Second time here, still awesome!

Wonderful resort. This is the second time we've been at the Majestic Punta Cana. Last year we stayed at the Majestic Elegance side and this year we decided to try the Majestic Colonial side. Both are excellent value for the money. Food is good, rooms are good, resort layout and accessibility is excellent, and the staff is courteous and friendly. There's always lots of huts available on the beautiful Bavaro Beach, but if you prefer to lounge by a pool you'll have plenty of choices there as well.  [... read more]We're already planning our return to the Majestic next year. If you've been resort-hopping trying to find your "every-year" vacation destination you should definitely try the Majestic, you won't be disappointed.

Occidental Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

The resort is small so not a lot of walking is required. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The rooms are a nice size with lots of storage space. The beds are comfortable. I loved how each block had an information person that was there to help you. Our information person's name was Louis. He gave us a tour of the resort and answered our questions. The food was good. Lots of choices. The entertainment was ok but I've seen better at other resorts.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Love this place!

This was our second time at this resort and we love it! It’s very clean, fantastic rooms, attentive staff, fabulous food, and absolutely gorgeous weather! The ocean, the pools, the free bar! The whole package is just wonderful. ❤️

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Great resort!

It was Beautiful, well maintained grounds, pool was amazing. The staff was always doing something to get people involved. The restaurants were all amazing except for the Brazilian steak house. We read other reviews and we were worried we'd only be able to eat at a couple of the restaurants but we were allowed to eat at all the different restaurants. They did everything to accommodate our needs. They were willing to switch reservations anytime we asked if it was available. And if they couldn [... read more]'t switch the reservation when we asked, they would give us a time to come back to see if we could stitch once the system was updated. We were very pleased. And yes the resort was HUGE which could make for a lot of walking but if you didn't wanna walk you could ask almost anyone to drive you or wait for a "train" which went up and down all 3 roads regularly. The lobby areas would get very quiet at night but if you wanted some night life the village had the disco, casino and karaoke bar which would keep you entertained till 2am if you wanted and then head to the beach bar till 4am if you really wanted to keep going..lol The sports bar was ok, we weren't there often so can't really speak on how that really was. We have been on many vacations and have to say this is the best food we've had in any resort so far. We will be telling people about this place for sure and we will be returning! Oh and I'm not a beach person, I'm a pool person but the beach was beautiful!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Very nice resort.

The grounds were spotless, the buildings were spotless. They kept everything nice and tidy. Service was super. All in all, a good place for a vacation. The staff was very friendly and quick to resolve any problems that you encountered in your room.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful Vacation!

Our 2 week vacation at the Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana was amazing. Best beach in the Caribbean! The GBP is a beautiful resort, with delicious food and wonderful people. Our 4th time at a GBP resort and we will definitely be back again!

Punta Cana Princess: Breathtaking

Perfect , not to big not to small . The only problem is the venders , hard to get away from , they are steady at you trying to sell there stuff . Over all very nice and clean , great food . Pool was great and beach front well word cannot describe . At the 4 a lacarts no booking needed , just walk in and enjoy .

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Outstanding! Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana

I am still amazed at how incredible our week at the Niceklodeon resort was. I took my wife and two boys (ages 3 and 6) down for one week and everything was top notch. The people were extremely friendly, the food was incredible, our swim-up flat suite was amazing, and the resort was new, clean, and immaculately kept. This resort was right on par with most of the 5* adults-only resorts my wife and I travel to. Kids had a great time at Aqua Nick, which has a bunch of lifeguards working at all times, so we were fine leaving our 6 year old experienced swimmer play in the water park while we were at nearby chairs. The ONLY criticism I have for the entire week was our dinner experience at Spacewalker. I loved the concept and we were excited for this dinner, but unfortunately our server didn't speak a word of English and some of our appetizers were already sitting on the table before we sat down. We noticed the same at other tables that had yet to have guests seated at them. They tried to get creative with the food for the theme of the restaurant, which I get is fun, but it didn't work. Otherwise the food was incredible and I'm still working on taking off the lbs from our week there! For a family with kids from ages 2-8, I couldn't recommend this place more. Amazing!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: great trip

WE HAD A GREAT VACATION WE DON'T STOP OURSELVES ON THE NEGATIVES BUT HAVE TO SAY GOLDEN WAS A WASTE OF MONEY WORST CHECK IN EVER WE WERE THE ONLY BUNCH THAT OUR ROOMS WEREN'T READY LOST AN EXTRA HOUR ALL OF US IN THE "PRIVILEDGE LOUNGE " WHILE EVERYONE ELSE ABOUT 30 PEOPLES WERE ALL CHECKED IN THEY WERE VERY UNORGANIZED THEY SEEMED LOST ...WE PAID MORE FOR THIS TRIP THAN ALL 8 OTHERS WAS NOT THE BEST BUT HAD A GREAT TIME .THANKS

Occidental Caribe: Good value

The resort it self was good, the grounds were clean well laid out the pools were big and clean and right up against the ocean which was beautiful. The rooms were dated and needed upgrades. But overall good. The food was average but you could always find something worth eating, the alacart restaurants were mostly good. The main drawback was the staff, most were not friendly to guests it was if the guests were a bother to some workers ,some were very rude and did not smile or talk to guests ,3 da [... read more]ys into our stay the resort was over run by college students on March break and they took over everything and were loud day and all night through out the resort. Over all it was ok we survived and had a good time.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Excellent place for families with very young children!

Highly recommend for families with very young children. Our boys (1yr and 2yr) enjoyed clean rooms, wide and sandy beach, great splash with pools for small children of various ages, kids club (also for toddlers) good food, nice landscaping. We stayed at the family beach apartment, so it was 1 minute walk to all relevant facilities, except for dinner restaurants, which we didn't really have to use as the nearby buffer (mercado) also served dinners.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Party resort

Good for younger crowed. Rooms were great in the 17 block. Food wasn’t the best. A lot of people trying to sell you stuff. Main pool needs redone hurts your feet and isn’t to clean. Wouldn’t recommend it to people that are looking for good food and beach

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

This is the second time I've been to this resort. It was wonderful! The food is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and always ready to help and the grounds are immaculate. We all had a great time. Especially the grandkids.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Fabulous vacation resort

The Now Onyx is a wonderful resort! Everything about our stay was superb: the staff, the cleanliness, the food, the beach, the pools and grounds. My adult daughter and I were in the family section and it was wonderfully quiet and calm, yet also had good entertainment and easy access to the adults-only Beathless next door. We highly recommend this resort.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Paradisus Punta Cana Group Getaway

Found this property very big but quite nice. The walking was hard for some as the huge cobblestones made it uneven so the hips took a beating and anyone with leg problems would find it difficult. However they do have a trolley that goes around quite often which some of us took advantage of specially from lobby area back to buffet or pool area. The two buffets were side by side which seemed different and very, very small for such a big resort . Plus they both basically had same thing in the [... read more]m each day for food. Myself personally only got to one a la carte...The Grill. Rib eye steak would have fed both my husband and myself. It was huge. Some others in the group went to the Japanese and one of the others, so they will speak to those I am sure. Overall food wasn't bad but didn't find enough variety I guess. We seem to be hit and miss on the pasta station which is a usual go to for us. Pool was nice , beach was nice but red flag was up last few days as it was pretty windy and rough. Entertainment was good....I didn't go to see any theater shows as they usually all seem the same to me after awhile....word had it that Michael Jackson was extremely good though. They had the silent dance party with headphones for the first time at that resort while we were there. It was great fun. We have experienced this before and always loved it at other resorts. Of course the anticipated foam party is always a hit as well. Beach Party was great and the disco we took in one night on the beach. our last evening they had a violinist and she was really good...we really enjoyed her talents. Oscar was one of the first entertainment people we had met. Some of our great servers at Gabi Beach were Yuletide, Bethania, Tavares and Christiano. At the North Bar Lobby was Yesica Perez. not to leave out the most important was Willis and Argenis at the pool bar. All the people were great that worked there though. We had changed rooms actually after a couple of days as we were having trouble in first room with hot water for showering. But the bell boys were super helpful in taking our luggage and helping carry our clothes on hangers to hold on the trolley and change rooms. We were a party of 6 in our group but met friends that consisted of 8 then 2 more in that group showed up before we left . Plus we met a couple that is local to us and made a new friendship that we can carry on with hopefully. All in all it was not a bad resort but not sure if I will go there again anytime soon.

Riu Republica: Awesome resort!

The rooms are nicely decorated and very big. We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony in the mornings with our coffee and also at night drinking beer as we unwound from our day. The food was amazing! Many different restaurants to eat at or just stick with the buffets. We also liked the fact that there are 2 different areas at the resort. One side for the drunken twenty somethings. And the other side for the older people who want to party. The nightly entertainment at the theater was enjoyable. [... read more] We do regret not going to the sister resorts but we just did not have enough time.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Almost a 5+ Star

Paradisus Punta Cana is a lovely resort. The grounds and services are best on the island (been to DR 14 times). I have stayed at this resort 9 times over the years and watched the renovations and upgrades improve this resort greatly. However, the food has consistently gone downhill. The buffet is smaller, less options and and the restaurants just passable. I would also recommend only doing Royal Service for bungalow location and services of their lounge, butler and reserved pool and beach a [... read more]rea. The food service by the pool is excellent and menu items there are not found anywhere else so a must do.

Riu Bambu: it was a nice resort

the resort was nice the ground the pool was good but the beach was very good that was we spend are time at the beach the at the bar area the service was very friendly and had lot of fun with the service personality and very outgoing
