Punta Cana Princess: Great Resort

The hotel room was very well layer out and had a great balcony With a perfect view of the pool and ocean. Coffee maker in room, love the coffee provided in room. All food weather in one of the three restaurants or the main buffet was very good and had amazing variety of different food each night. The stuff at the Princess were exceptional and went above and beyond to please all guests and were very professional and friendly. The Punta Cana Airport is alittle bit of a shit show so prepared for a long day on your return home.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Wonderful time!

very clean, great food with lots of options at the buffet, A la carte's were our favourite meals with lots of variety on the menu, always free beach chairs, friendly/welcoming staff. We were thrilled with our stay!

There was lots of shade both on the beach and around the pools. The service was excellent Guest services were very helpful in telling us what we needed to know for our Covid test We were not happy with the Air Transat rep; didn't show up for orientation the first day and was late the 2nd. Grand Bavaro Princess: Great resort

Very large hotel. I have been here previously 4 times. This resort has everything. Great rooms, amazing beach! Amazing pools and all kinds of food and restoraunts. I would like to say and consider this more of a family hotel. There is a casino just outside the resort. Outside the resort is very touristy and safe. The resort itself is beautiful. I met so many great people who have become friends of mine. There are people on the beach constantly Trying to sell excursions, cigars and souvenirs. I stayed in platinum this time which gave me access to book reservations at restoraunts, free room service, robes and small perks. Platinum has its own restorants, lounge, beach and pool. If u have a family with children I don’t think platinum is necessary at all. Don’t know what else to say here other than it’s beautiful. Just DONT FALL or go with the people who wear blue shirts telling you that you will get a free gift! It’s pretty much a scam.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Amazing Resort

Well let me start off the moment you get there till the moment you leave. I have been to this resort 3 times already and would do it over and over again. The ground and the rooms are amazing. Rooms are excellent and well kept clean. The maids go the extra mile,no complaints at all, all the staff are super nice, and you can tell they go the mile to keep there guests coming back for more, and speaking from experience...I AM ONE...😊

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: It was ok

We purchased an adult only privilege holiday for 2 weeks. Pros: great animation team, nice rooms, comfortable beds, lots of activities available throughout the day to take part in, Mike's coffee was amazingly good, and a daily visit was our favorite daytime activity. Privilege restaurant, (when open), was great! Pools where wonderful and chairs were available. Outdoor dinning was available at most restaurants. Con's: Too large of a resort, and the trolley doesn't circulate very often and [... read more] is very inconsistent when it does. Restaurant availability for booking was poor (and being privilege, doesn't give you any benefits) . Only was able to book once at Steakhouse, once at Blue moon, and they ran out of steaks while we were at steak restaurant. Beach was just ok, so we didn't go too often. (Twice during stay), Music around the pool was geared to the 20 year olds and was played so loud that you couldn't talk to someone sitting next to you, and not enough umbrellas considering it's in full sun most days. Also, the sound would bounce off the buildings and get an echo. The buffet had very little meat options, compared to other resorts, and was not a lot of variety. Breakfast main buffet was good, but couldn't get bacon at any time. We wouldn't recommend the privilege as we were the farthest room away from the beach where all privilege restaurants were. There was no privilege bar or lounge, just 2 restaurants that rotated being opened..the availability was also were difficult to get into, unless you wanted to eat very early or very very late. They seamed understaffed, yet they said they were 90% full. Most staff were great, but seemed like they were understaffed all the time, so waiting was a big part of a meal. We tipped very well, at every meal, almost with every drink. The pool staff were great and an extra shout out to Luie and adult pool bar staff.

This is my 3rd visit,obviously,I like it here.Golfing is great !! The people working there are all very nice.I wish something could be done for the hoards of inconsiderate people that "reserve" there beach chair with a towel.This is ridiculous,there is no one on the beach,but no chairs.You should stop this,some how,disallow this.I have been to places that do not allow this.Otherwise food,rooms were great,and everything else.Thanks Terry

Occidental Punta Cana: Beautiful resort with amazing people!!

This was the first time my husband an I were in dominican and it was everything and more!! The resort was absolutely beautiful, very clean everything was close and the people were the best part! All the workers where so nice and made our trip that much more amazing. The food was fantastic. Always so much to choose from in the buffets. We tried all the el la carts and they were all sooo good! The beach is where we spent most of our time! Talking to the locals on the beach was the highlight of our day! Other than the staff wearing masks it was a vacation away from covid, we didn't need to wear masks or worry about anything! The resort was so clean so we didn't worry about anything. We traveled with air transit so we had our covid test in our room which was do convenient! We will definitely be going back to this resort next year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller, quite resort!!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Needs improvements

First impression of resort was good. Service needs improvement. Grounds and pool seemed well looked after. Our private rooftop patio was our saviour for making our trip until a drone was flown above it and violating our privacy.So upset that I made a formal complaint. Not that I believe it’ll go anywhere. Most food was lukewarm at best. Few servers were very attentive. Some hostesses were rude. Few understood English. Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Will never use Tripcentral again!

We loved LOVED the resort. The pools and beach were incredible but the most amazing part was the food. Top notch. Will for sure go back to Royalton Bavaro. Thank you for a week in heaven! Tripcentral got many things wrong and I’m paying the consequences- literally. Brutal customer service. From not booking us when we thought we were booked to booking us in a room we didn’t ask for and having to downgrade at the resort. Among other things. Just brutal. Ocean El Faro: Home away from home

The rooms were hugh and very comfortable. There were lots to choose from for food. One draw back is the resort does not not accept reservations for the a la cart restaurants. Therefore you end up standing in line waiting for a table to open up for your dinner instead of relaxing with a beverage until your dinner time. Dealing with the staff at the front desk was not a great experience.

Sunscape Dominicus La Romana: Great atmosphere

I have not been to many all inclusives, but I am definitely walking away having an awesome experience. The food was 2nd to none. The selection was fantastic and changed every meal, every day. The entertainment was what I would expect from an all inclusive. A lot of great talent. The pool area was large and overall was a nice pool. You can witness the constant effort to upkeep the grounds. Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Amazing trip

We were a group of 10 and the staff and service was fantastic, the resort was always clean, food was amazing rooms were nice! We will definitely be going back!! Thanks senator!! We love Domingo at the sports bar! Coffee at the sports bar is amazing

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful beach

The hotel has an amazing beachfront with lots of space. We always found a great spot at the beach or pool even if we were a little late going down. Staff was very friendly and had great service, especially the bartenders at the pool and lobby bar - they could make anything you can imagine! Staff followed covid protocols (masking, cleaning between guests) well, and there was hand sanitizer available at entrances to buffets, however we brought our own sanitizer for the table which made us more com [... read more]fortable. The air transat representative at the hotel was helpful in booking us our covid test to return to Canada, and he sent a nurse to our room to complete the test so we didn’t need to wait in line. Alternatively there was testing in the conference room in the lobby. The al la carte restaurants had delicious food, particularly the Mediterranean and Italian! The room was nice, bed was very comfortable, however our hair dryer didn’t work (which was ok for us, and we didn’t ask them to fix it). Overall a great trip, would definitely go back. Sunscape Puerto Plata: Friendly Staff and no crowds

Hotel was great , Buffet food was bad , always cold and tasteless. That said the al la carte restaurants which don't need reservations and have no limit had pretty good food. Pool was nice and beach is a real beauty. Be prepared for beach peddlers though. If you want to lay in the sun and relax do it at the pool. Surprisingly really good surfing close by at Encuentro beach. Would come back again in a heartbeat

Excellence Punta Cana: Returning after 2 year's absence

Truly a 5 star resort experience. Definitely worth the upgrade to Excellence Club - exclusive beach area, Magna Restaurant & lounge with high end booze. Superb service from the staff with many of them remembering us from 2 years ago! No wrist bands or reservations required for the restaurants. Food is varied & very good, with 7 restaurants open most nights. Our favourites were the Magna & the Grill Steakhouse. This is not a good place for swimming in the ocean with high waves & pounding surf over most of the beach area. It is also a good half to three quarters of an hour drive from the airport, so accessing anything offsite requires planning. I recommend this place for older couples who want a mellow experience, chill at the pool or on the beach, eat excellent food & enjoy the entertainment.

The Amenities were very close and the staff was amazing, even through COVID they were always there to help in any way. I would recommend this resort. Our butlers Emilio and Teuidi were excellent in getting our questions answered and were very quick to respond to our emails. Every restaurant that we visited the staff again was there to help in any way. Our hotel stay was really great. The grounds are very beautiful, the rooms are clean and the food is really good. We stayed in the Diamond club and it was well worth it. A big shout out to our butlers Amilio and Teudi they were simply amazing. They touched base everyday to ensure that we had everything we needed and find out where we would like dinner reservations for the evening. Also Nesto at the buffet was also amazing, he took care of our every need for breakfast and lunch everyday. We were there with a small group to renew our vows for our 25th wedding anniversary and our wedding planner Channiel did an amazing job as well. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: 2nd visit for us, will definitely return for a 3rd!!

Hotel was very clean, great job with sanitizing and gloves and masks while indoors in groups ... they used common sense which was nice! Only 1 lunch option restaurant and 1 small bar opened at some peak times left back ups for drinks. I like the new sports bar area with entertainment, wish there was more of the adult shows there and live music with children activities at Village instead. Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly. Our room was very close to the beach. Only issue was trying to book one of the restaurants only managed to book one rest of the time we had to go to the buffet. Overall the food and coffee shop was good. Rooms are big and spacious. I must say our booking rep at Trip Central Kevin Dupuis was exceptional from our confirmation to every bit of information you would require
