Grand Palladium Jamaica: It's number one in our heart

The grounds were very well kept. If you didn't want to walk there was always transportation. The la cartes restaurant s were the best we would rank Bubba's grill number one. But the food and service at the others would be ranked up there also. We have traveled in the DR, Cuba and Mexico the food and service was far superior at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. We can recall the first day after been traveling for the last 14 hers we were hungry and tried a young worker likely from the grounds escorted us to the sports bar for food and drinks. He did it out of kindest and wasn't looking for a tip. The maid service was number one they were friendly. The pools are very good. The relax pool great to get away from the noise and younger group. The adult pool the same as the relax pool. The main pool was good lots of lounge rs and shade. The Lady Hamilton side appeared to be for the e older group. The beaches aren't for the die hard beach lovers that would be the down side. The negatives are the time share people beware of "did you receive your free gift" you lose 2 hers of you life for two bottles of liquor. The upside they aren't as bad as

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful

We were happy with the overall experience. Food was great pools were amazing and beach was nice. The resort rooms are ok however the overall look of the hallways could use a revamp. Smelly and musty at some spots. Alot of our guests had issues with rooms. We broke a glass I'm our room on the third day and by the last day we were still asking them to clean it as we kept getting shards of glass in our feet. I would recommend it but we will never be going back there.

Dreams Rose Hall: Beautiful Family Resort

The Hilton is a beautiful resort with lots to do for kids , my 12 year old never complained once of being bored. The service was a little slow so pack your patience, the food wasn't as good as I expected it to be considering it's The Hilton but was ok. The beach is the worst I've seen in Jamaica yet. I would recommend this resort to families with kids... fun fun fun!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Love this place still !

Everything here is great for a 4 start place! 3 time here , great bang for ur buck .. Awesome food .. Relaxed place! Love the man made beach here it really nice! Not so goo for older poeple who don't like to walk . Bigger resort but well laid out. Thanks

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: This was a 3 star resort

I was leery about staying at a 3 star resort as I have always gone 5 star. I must say it was clean, friendly, food was fabulous. It was small but very well kept and we had a great time. I would go again for sure. My only complaint is that the bungalows we reserved were not available to us for the first 2 days of our stay and we were downgraded to rooms. They did make it up to us though and we were very satisfied in the end.

Very nice hotel, good food. Travelled with kids no snack foods available for them. No shaded areas over kids pool or shallow areas. Kids shows are a little too late. Kids playground should be closer to the hotel

Big resort a lot of walking. Food very good, resort kept very clean, staff friendly and most go out of there way to help. Something for everyone, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, lounging by the pool or the beach.

Rooms On The Beach: Great location!!

Back from a weeks vacation at rooms on the beach Wednesday, staff very helpful & friendly, rooms very clean & the location is perfect. Nice beach & pool, close to shopping, restaurants & nightlife. If you are looking to explore Jamaica & all it has to offer this is a great option with very good value for your money. We always felt safe walking around town, the people so friendly & helpful!. Rudolph was just outside our hotel, taxi driver, very reasonable & will drive you to your destination & wait for you for hours if needed. Booked out glass bottom boat ride through Captain Richardo on the beach. Breakfast very basic but good, we purchased our beers/wine at the grocery store, okay to bring down to the pool area or beach, remember to bring a bottle opener :) We had Heinz the bartender make us our fruity drinks, he will look after you at the poolside bar, great service!! Lots of restaurant within walking distance. If you are looking for a reasonable beautiful vacation destination I would highly recommend this one!

Beachcomber Club: Clean, clean, clean!!!!!!!!

Someone once told me to never read your own news clipping's. Smart man. Going on holidays is what you need to feel relaxed and enjoy your time. If as much hot water you desire, pillows you can hold at night and a beach to die for than go right freak'n now. you get a four post bed woooohhhhoooo!!!! Food smood!!!! Grand Pineapple Beach: Amazing time in Jamaica

We just returned from ten days at Grand Pineapple and I would go back now for another ten. The beach is amazing, I walked up and down it every morning after breakfast. The water is so clear (which is good, as my husband dropped his safe key out of his pocket while we were snorkeling and had no problem finding it again) and always a perfect temperature. The resort itself was tiny which meant you could get from your room to beach in no time at all, which I loved. The staff were amazing, especially [... read more] Winston in the restaurant, Joseph at the bar, Jacqueline the waitress, and the amazing Andrade who made eggs of every sort at breakfast. Because of the size of the resort you got to know everybody and they knew you, which made the experience even better. Food was basic but different every night and I had salad every lunch and dinner with mountains of cheese. Breakfast was the best with the eggs, bacon and pancakes but I have no complaints about the food. We were on the garden side, first in room 2 but my husband did not care for the double beds because he is tall, so we asked for a transfer and we were in room 6 with a king for the rest of our stay, which was great. Rooms are small, but very clean and have everything you need. TV's were equipped with HDMI plugs which was great as we were in bed early and watching TV from my tablet every night. Wifi was $43 for 7 days and then $14.99 for 24 hour increments. Would be nice if a 10 day option was added for those of us staying longer as it was almost as much for 3 days more as it was for 7. We loved the peacocks hanging around our cottage on the garden side, and we seemed to be the only ones who used the pool so that was our private hang out at the end of the afternoon. So to sum up, AMAZING Beach and Staff, Good Food and Rooms, Great time in Jamaica. We will be back!!

Coco La Palm: Friendly

Every where you went the staff were asking if everything was okay and if they could do any thing for you. The rooms were clean and service in the restaurants was great. Being in the center of seven mile beach made it great for beach walks.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: GREAT RESORT

Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica Resort was great! We went as a group of six and requested that our rooms be close together, rooms not located on ground level, and not close to the disco, and the hotel accommodated all of our requests. The resort is beautiful, clean and well kept. The pool is great! The beach is really nice as well. The resort grounds are also very nice. The buffet has some really good stuff like the make our own omelette in the morning, make your own pasta at lunch and the chicken [... read more] and shrimp that are cooked on the grill to order at dinner are amazing! The al carte restaurants were really good we went to the Mikado Japanese twice and Dolce vita once, however, you need to book you restaurants right away and if you are at the resort for a week you most likely won't get into Don Pablo the steak house. The drinks at the resort are very good. The wine was really good when you got your hands on an actual wine glass (Spanish wine). The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and truly care about your vacation being it's best. The resort itself is huge which makes it appealing to all ages, there are plenty of activities for everyone of all ages, and it has a good party atmosphere at night. I would definitely go back to this resort and highly recommend it to others. Have an amazing trip Mon!

Sandals South Coast: Just as good as the first time!

This was our second trip to Whitehouse and it was just as great as we remembered it to be. Amazing property, great food, beautiful, tranquil beach and most of all the staff and service were the best and made our trip another one to remember. We would return again tomorrow if we could!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Fantastic Trip!

This was our first trip to a Sandals resort and we will for sure be staying with the chain again. This resort is huge! We stayed in a butler room. It was the first time having a butler and it was interesting. We probably didn't use the service as much as we could have but we did enjoy what we used. Best thing they did was set up a housecoat man in our bed. It was awesome! The food was amazing. Our favourite restaurant was the Manor. Yum! We spent most of the time at the Ochi Beach and it was gor [... read more]geous. Wish the towels were refilled a bit more frequently but we always were able to eventually get one.

Riu Ocho Rios: Best Holiday ever

This is an amazing resort. We stayed in the adult only section with a small room upgrade. The room itself was superior. Maid service and cleanliness were perfect. The food at this resort is also above average. The amenities, beach, and services were also excellent. We used Sunwing. Its local rep, Sandra, was very professional and her recommendations for excursions were right on. We had a great time. By way of criticisms, we would only say that the evening shows were very amateurish (if you reall [... read more]y care), the sound systems were blurred (even with p.a. systems it seems that the locals felt compelled to shout all the time), and the front desk was always short on cash to change your bills. Bring small bills. The music is almost totally Bob Marley all the time (as this parish is where he was born). Staff were amazing and friendly. No doubt we will be going back. Suggest that if you are a sun worshipper, you plan to start at 8 am. Sun is hot and bright in the morning. By about 4 pm it is usually gone (in January) behind banks of clouds. This was a daily pattern.

Riu Negril: Had a very awesome time.

Everything was excellent.People were friendly, food was great, sand on beach was beautiful. I have already recommended it to co-workers and friends and they will be booking a trip there by months end. Thanks again for making our trip a memorable one.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not Adults only or Luxury during Construction

Re: Booking #QLQQYZ Geddes We booked our vacation at the Luxury Bahia Principe Adults only hotel for our 5th Anniversary. We are half way through our trip and we are VERY disappointed that we paid extra for the "Luxury" and "adults only" experience only to learn this is NOT what we are getting! First of all there is construction right in front of our room. So from 9-6 every day including weekends they run heavy machinery. Second, the adults area pool is surrounded by rooms booked with family's [... read more]. So kids sitting on the balconies are heard yelling. It is also beside the hammering heavy machinery ALL DAY, so no peace and quiet there at all. Forces us to use the regular pools loaded with kids or the beach area. Again, the "adults only" section is a small area in between kids on the beach. So you hear screaming kids there too! The regular booked guests of the hotel may use our adults only buffet provided it's no kids. Our butler we tried to use one for a romantic bath. Scheduled for 9:30 to be ready when we came back in after dinner. She shows up at 10:00 pm to start it. It takes over 15 minutes to fill. I told her sorry it's too late we are heading to bed. She offers to leave the scented oil to burn. Forgot matches. Says I'll be right back. 15 minutes later. Just not acceptable when we wanted not to be interrupted. So I'm questioning what did we pay extra for??!!! There is no benefit except the adults only pool which is at this time, the worst place to be due to the construction. We thought about going to the front desk to move our room until we spoke to another couple who did that already, for the same reason, and they spent two days going back and forth to the front desk only to end up in a room with no air condition and frig issues plus not as nice a room. We are not going to waste our valuable time on vacation to be further disappointed. Our vacation time is very limited due to our jobs, and we paid the most for this trip than any other trip we have taken. We have booked five star on our wedding (Dreams property) and again that same year without our kids to an adults only majestic elegance both in Punta Cana. This hotel should not be sold as Luxury or adults only at this time. Until the construction is completed this is definitely NOT an upgrade worth paying for! In fact it should be majorly discounted. We are expecting Air Canada vacations to come up with some kind of reimbursement for this serious fail and even misleading sell of this property. People should be told before they go. Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Friendly and cozy!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cottages were quaint and charming, the gardens were beautiful and well maintained, the food at the buffet and restaurants was excellent, and we loved spending time on the beach. The staff were friendly, warm and always ready to help!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Beautifull resort

Very pretty, staff are always friendly and helpful, check in takes too long, we pre registered on line, but had to go all through it again. They insist on putting a $400 hold on your credit card. Not fond of that. Food is good, service is good, but won't do a Sandals again.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Disappointing Beach

Hotel needs to find a more efficient way of clearing seaweed from the beach. Seaweed is relentless and hotel staff spend all day cleaning it up, leaving garbage bags lining the beach front. Not something you want to be looking at while on the beach...doesn't make for good backdrop on your photos lol.
