Sol Palmeras: Great and relaxing

Great hotel and recommendation from Wendy at TriipCentral. Quick and short trip from airport, transfers were all great. Hotel was everything we needed this holiday trip. Super friendly staff, clean rooms and picture perfect days spent on the beach. I’d highly recommend this great family friendly resort to others.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Unfortunately Disappointed

This was my 5th trip to Cuba, so we are used to the nuisances that come with travelling to this area. That being said, I was disappointed with a few things, some of which may be covid related supply issues. The buffet had extremely limited menu options which only changed once, possibly twice while we were there. While we don't watch much tv while we're on vacation its a nice feature to have between beach time and dinner or going out, or just relaxing at the end of the night. Our TV was broke [... read more]n, we asked them to look at it, and it was fixed once. However turning the TV off reset whatever repair was done. We asked multiple times if they could look at it, but no one did. Staff on certain days were slower than the normal Cuban lifestyle. Every resort I've been to always had beer and pop in the room fridge, but this resort didn't. Could be a hotel thing or a supply chain issue, just another one of those nice to have things. The good, it had a cool boardwalk, the pool area was interesting, its a smaller resort which we liked. The Japanese restaurant was pretty good. Limited menu, but the entertainment was excellent.

Playa Costa Verde: Staff was friendly

Staff was friendly but thats about the only good thing I can say about my trip. Food was awful, I literally lost 7 lbs while there. It was all inclusive and they only had rum or beer. No other drink options. Honestly just not a nice vacation at all. The highlight of the trip was when I got to fly home.

Sol Cayo Santa Maria: Newly renovated resort

The nicest room I have seen in my many trips in different area of Cuba. The workers worked hard to embellish the landscape. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was good but little selection. It’s Cuba, it’s to be expected. The beach was amazing Overall it was an enjoyable trip

Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: 2 star at best

Very Unorganized staff was very wasn't very helpful. Al A Carte food was worse then the buffer. There 1 week only I day had vodka, and that only lasted a few hours then out of it again. Everyday run out of gin, red and white wine. No crystal beer. Dirty rooms and last but not least cock roaches in the buffet area.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Beautiful resort, place and people !

We have been to Cuba before (Cayo Guillermo) and we loved this new resort. The rooms were spacious, clean, full of light and conveniently organized. There were mosquito nets on the doors. The buildings are situated to have as many of the terraces to have an ocean view, specifically the 2-3 floors. The food was just right for me with enough variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner, to be able to make a different plate every time. There were servings of at least one or two types of meats (pork, l [... read more]amb, chicken) as well as fish at lunch and dinner. I am not a big meat eater and I enjoyed mostly the yogurt, bread, soups and salads as well as cooked vegetables, rice, fish and potatoes, etc. The staff at the restaurant melted our hearts each time we saw them. We will never forget the kindness, the smiles and the great service we received from Rosalia and Reinier. Entertainment: There was relax and dance routine each morning and afternoon at the pool and at the beach. The evening entertainment site was at the pool but there was also a beach party one night, which we all enjoyed and was a great time for everyone from very young, young and old. The Entertainers were the life of the place. Always genuinely friendly, happy and positive. We saw them everywhere and had very positive and good conversation, or danced together with Beatrice, Jessica, Andrew, Alejandro, Jackson, Billy and all the others! The cleaning staff was also very accommodating. There was shortage of bottled water at one time when they cleaned the rooms in the morning but they brought the water to our room later in the day when it was available. All the staff accepts tips as a normal practice across the resort, ask the staff or the Sunwing representative for information. We also brought clothes and gifts (tank tops and T-shirts) in good shape although not brand new to give to the cleaning staff in the rooms and outside. Everyone was grateful to receive them. The young staff was ecstatic about brand names. Since we have been back, we miss everything in everyone. This was a truly enjoyable vacation for our family.

Roc Arenas Doradas: First time at RAD, but would definitely go back!!!

This was out 30th trip to Cuba, but our first at this resort, great size, very good service, we did have a lot of fun with most of the staff. The food was good, we have to consider this being Cuba, usual lines (omelets, meat etc.) were almost inexistant, which I enjoyed. The beach was beautiful with plenty of chairs and palapas. The grounds were immaculate. Rooms, we had the ROC plus, I recommend, out room was freshly renovated, I think we were the first ones in. Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Class Act !!

Review of Stay 2/10-2/17 First of all if you are on the fence about going to Cuba as I was, this wonderful place will quickly change your mind. As we all know Cuba has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world but lack of good food and beverage usually creates a hurdle, for this I think that Cuba gets overlooked when people are deciding on a vacation. I am the type of traveler that doesn't expect the utmost in luxury but just good food, drink and a clean place to rest my head. The Angsana Cayo Santa Maria does all that and much more. It's a beautiful small adults only boutique kind of all inclusive hotel that immediately makes you feel welcomed and wowed by the beautiful place it is. The grounds though not huge it certainly doesn't disappoint with the the two infinity pools, ocean right at your finger tips, and a very user friendly layout. The rooms are very updated and clean. The buffet offers a good selection of food that should satisfy all tastes but if you want a change there's a great 24hr snack bar that offers great food like, pizza, chicken fingers and burgers. Now for the staff, I can't say enough about how great and hard working they are. They are the most wonderful people at this resort and during my week there went out of their way daily to make sure my vacation was one to remember. I wish I could shout out their names but there are far to many to mention. Now for the beaches. One word comes to mind "Money Shot" They are truly beautiful on this resort and you need to see them for yourself to appreciate just how beautiful they are. Regards

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Okey resort

I was there fir two weeks. The location was very beautiful however the room was as not to my like . The bathroom door is as not closing, the fridge was not working I, the plug in the bathroom was loose I had to hold the plug with one hand and the blow dryer with the other. I went on the front desk three time to have that look after and some they were tanker care two days before my departure. The food was good and Planty of it .the entertainment. Was very poor..

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Nice Resort with one big problem

We were recently at the Valentin El Patriarca for a two week vacation First the positives. The resort grounds were very nice and well maintained, the beach was absolutely amazing, and the people/staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very hard so that you enjoyed your stay. The room needed some updating. The mattress on the bed was sagging towards the headboard. The first night we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed. The next two nights we were given additional pillows and th [... read more]e mattress was changed for the fourth night. Now for the big problem. We were expecting bland food, but were not prepared for what we encountered. The food was terrible. Here are a couple of examples. The Italian a la carte had no pasta, a ham and cheese sandwich had no ham or cheese, but was a weiner between two pieces of bread, I observed staff watering down milk because of shortages, they ran out of butter for bread after the first week. The deal breaker was when we saw cockroaches crawling the food at the buffet. The buffet was repetitive and seldom varied the menu. Even the scrambled eggs were like porridge. Beef was non-existent and hamburgers were made with ground ham. After talking to other people at other resorts, they had the same issues. Food for us is an important item when on vacation, for this reason we will not return to Cuba.

Memories Paraiso: No complaints

Beautiful beaches, staff and grounds. As per usual Cuba style some things are in need of repair. But nothing that impacted the quality of our vacation. Pools and bars around every corner and most of all beautiful cuban people always smiling joking and laughing. Our customer service rep Yailyn LeonMartin was epic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yusimi and Ernesto At the lobby bar parisio side were also amazing so friendly and they had ALL the good drinks!!!

Memories Paraiso: 5 star staff!!!

Grounds are beautiful and lush, beach is spectacular!! Rooms are comfortable and clean. Food is good lots of options and always something available. What really makes this resort is the staff! Yailyn at customer service is truly amazing! Such a dedicated and kind person! All of the bartenders, room cleaners, drivers are always kind and happy. Always smiling and joking. Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Amazing vacation

This resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The beaches were perfect, one quiet and one with activities. We totally enjoyed the food and found it better than expected. The pizza and hamburgers at the snack bar were very good. The staff at the Angsana were amazing and very accommodating. We had no complaints and will definitely return.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Fabulous week!

The resort was lovely! The rooms were clean, the safe was available, the staff was friendly and helpful and the ocean and pool were exceptional. Our trip into Veradero was smooth and we felt very safe both in the city and at the resort. We were on the 3rd floor but our sliding door didn’t lock. That’s my only complaint. I truly found the food quite great! The 3 a la cartes were a nice treat from a week of only buffet food. The catamaran excursion was outstanding!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Not the best hotel

We did not like this hotel at all. I was disappointed on so many levels. The food is not great. Same thing every day. We tried an a La Carte restaurant and waited 1.5 hours to get our food. The rooms are not cleaned well. Dirty in the corners, cobwebs and the shower is not caulked properly so it would leak/ flood the floors. I mentioned it to front desk twice - NO ONE came to deal with it. I gave up. I asked for towels to cover the puddles of water and they gave me a dirty towel only. There mu [... read more]st be a towel shortage - not to mention the clean ones have stains on it too. It doesn’t seem like anyone wants to help with anything! The pools are a bit cold. The beach has so many sea shells that some people cut their feet walking to the water. We walked over next door to the grand aston hotel and went for a nice pizza lunch. We didn’t care we had to pay for it - just needed something different. Anyways if you’re going , bring hot sauce, ketchup , peanut butter and anything else for flavour. Also bring your own towels! And bring mosquito repellents they get you at night.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: It's a resort

Beautiful place and tasty food. The staff was scarce, but they were training new people. The pool was dirty and and beach is crawling with mites. Don't lay in the sand direct, get a chair, must get up early for this.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Worst Rooms and maid service ever in Cuba

The hotel itself is beautiful, no issues on food shortages due to Covid. The bartenders, grounds keepers and dining service staff were all excellent. Sadly our room was terrible, beds held together with 2X4’s if you sat on the end of the bed legs would fall off. No fresh towels, floor never swept, water not replaced in room without special request, linen not changed at all in the seven days. To top it off although money was left as were gifts maid still stole items from both of our rooms. If  [... read more]a complaint is filed a full investigation needs to be held, clearly taking longer than a seven day trip would allow. Although based on other guest experiences ours seemed to be an isolated issue…. Building stayed in was by the children’s pool. Most we spoke to were by the main pool and raved about their service.

Playa Vista Azul: Fantastic Resort

This resort was very nice and the service was over the top.As expected there were a few shortages but nothing to dampen our holiday. Rooms were ok and our view was magnificent, staff went out of their way to please everyone. The grounds are average but the cleanliness was evident we had a group of ten people and some had been there several times overall a great resort .

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Awesome stay

Just got back and it was a great time. Good was good, the rooms were redone and nice. The entertainment staff and all other stuff are super friendly they remember your name all week. The only bad stay was the flight.. won’t take swoop again.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Our Stay

Hotel was nice n beach everything else not good, food not very good we were a group of 22 people and some of us got sick, staff weren’t very friendly only 2 people standout everyone else is like they hate there jobs will never go back there again
