Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Very Relaxing Vacation

The Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres was a beautiful resort. The grounds were very nice, atmosphere very laid back, food was awesome, and service was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day trip here and would come back for sure. There was one mix-up at the check-in as we were going to be put in a room that we thought was a different category but they actually ended moving us to an oceanfront room instead so no issues there, they made everything right. Having said that, do your due diligen [... read more]ce on the room categories as I think they make it a little confusing on purpose so you don't really know exactly what room/building you will be put in. We had butler service and Felipe was amazing he was very attentive and ensured we had the best possible time while in Mexico.

Riu Flamingos: Exceeded expectations: a fun and excellent resort!

We generally found the resort excellent! The requested type of room at the resort was granted to our three different parties and was very nice. Well kept for us. The resort is beautiful and charming, in a striking setting in the Bay of Banderas surrounded by mountains, with many multi-generational Mexican families coming and going: we really enjoyed this aspect. Located on a beautiful beach on the Bay of Banderas, the bay waters coming in from the Pacific Ocean are warm enough and often gentle enough for swimming. We enjoyed two weeks of beautiful sunsets. Through Nexus Tours, we booked a private four-person full-day tour of Puerto Vallarta ... its many zones and neighborhoods as well as a visit to a tequila factory: informative and we certainly enjoyed tasting the different tequila products! If our approach was not to go to new places and try new situations, we would without hesitation return to the Riu Jalisco.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Amazing Resort

I had an amazing time at Iberostar Selection, i went as a group and with my family. My kids loved it. The waterpark for the kids was nice also. The pools especially the infinity pool was nice. The beach was clean, no seaweed. And the food was great, ate at various restaurants during my stay and mostly at the buffet. The buffet had great options and the chefs were accommodating to request. My only complaint will be the toilet of the non renovated part of the hotel which is where i stayed. Asides  [... read more]that everything else was amazing. Ocean Maya Royale: The best stay!

Absolutely beautiful resort and the entertainment staff are unforgettable. Great night activities as well. Usually don’t visit the same resort twice but this may have changed my mind. Definitely recommend it.

Riu Dunamar: Enjoyable stay even during rainy season

We travelled October 8-15 which was reportedly during the rainy season in Mexico but we were not inconvenienced by weather at all. The rain lasts for very short bursts and the increased winds were refreshing with a humidex of 36. The resort was busy but at no time did we struggle find a seat by the pool or the beach, there was prompt service at the bars, restaurants and front desk. There was a wide variety of food even for a very picky eater like myself and we ate mostly at the buffet. The only  [... read more]challenge was the restaurants were first come first serve so if you did not show up when they opened it was an extremely long wait. The maître de had some challenges with the reservation list and because we are not pushy we were passed over until it was more than 30 minutes past our projected wait time of 1 hour. The Sens Riviera: Mediocre resort.

The hotel is a mediocre hotel. The food at certain restaurants was always cold. However the room we had which was an upgrade was spacious and very nice. The beach is mostly a reef which was amazing for anyone who loves to snorkel however hard to walk into because of either the rocks or sharp coral pieces. You definitely need water shoes or like myself I wore my flippers.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Great food and beach

I like the hotel grounds as it was not too big and actually connected by beach to a public access beach connected to public transit along the highway. Akumal town across the highway overpass on land side has news stories that include shootings but I was there is the main street in daylight to buy fruits so your experience may vary. As for the hotel itself, everything was clean and the only thing left was to to soak up the sun and enjoy the meals and drinks provided. Also there are sea turtles nearby off hotel grounds available for snorkeling available for 500 pesos but try and negotiate down and go in a group with Mexican customers for a cheaper and longer tour.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Fantastic

Everything was perfect, our family of 10 enjoyed every minute. Our room was missing a few things like a phone, robes, umbrella but it did not away a our enjoyment, we are not people who normally use room service. The service at the restaurants and buffets was excellent always greeted by smiling faces. The kids loved the Cafe and all the pools and slides. We would definitely go back.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: True 3 Star

This is a good hotel for 1st time vacations. If you have need tob4 and 5 stars, you will see how they fit as a 3 star. Main buffet needs a better selection of daily meals. There are theme nights but a few different selections. My room and cleamers were awesome. Bar staff 3.5 out if 5. Best drink is called "Rivere Maya." Staff all over were 4 out of 5. Beach was good. Best beach is to the right near the Sandos through the rocks called EmmaCove. Priceless. I did the calculations and with 3 trips a year and buying the flights. You average $3800 to $4600 per. Ouch....

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: The Fives

This was our second time and we enjoyed every single minute of it. The restaurants, the atmosphere, the staff, the delightful scent in the main lobby and the lush cenote and clean beach make it a difficult place to leave. We explored xelha and it didn't disappoint. Air transat and trip central and the airports were a breeze. Lots of relaxation and new friendships.

Moon Palace Cancun: Beautiful resort!

A great resort where you get 3 in 1. Lots to do for the kids, restaurants were wonderful.. or favorite was Tavola at the Grand. Nizuc pool on the west side was out favorite with a waterslide and swim up bar. Sunrise was ultimately the best, better than the Grand in our opinion. Rings are small. We were a family of 4, with 2 double beds. Hubby and I did not fit in the double, so I slept with a kid each night. Finally got a rollaway on night 4, which helped, but no space to put i [... read more]t. The Grand isn't so grand..a lot of people coming and going and the other 2 buildings were just as beautiful. The waterpark wasn't as much of a hot as we expected. One waterslide you had to have a 2some, and another was down for the week. Staff were amazing..friendly and informative.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Great resort!

Excellent stay of 11 nights. Food was fantastic. Extra cleaning was obvious. Beach /pool activities with Erik, Melissa, Wendy, Elizabeth & Arely we’re especially good. Treated you like friends and we’re genuine about your having a good time. Really looked like they enjoyed their job which made our stay even better. Weather was fantastic which always helps!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Hyatt Ziva- One Week Stay

For the amount of money paid to stay at this resort, I would not recommend. Our room had mold around the sink and on the shower curtain. Room service did not show up regularly unless called. The food was average and themed night rarely had any food that was actually themed. However the staff was wonderful. They were polite and helpful and always had smiles on their face.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: 10/10

The staff are kind and friendly, the resort was beautiful, covered in palm trees so plenty of shade. The food was amazing, 5-star meals for sure. Loved it! Room service was great too, everything was perfect!

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: No complaints from us

Everything was exactly as we expected except the room was a little dated. However, it was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The staff are the most friendly and helpful we have ever had. There were always lots of chairs with umbrellas on the beach which is important to us because we like shade.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Very nice resort

Everything was beautiful, right down to the restaurants, living spaces, bedrooms, bars etc. I would highly recommend this resort to anybody else in the future. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: The resort was a beautiful older place little hard at times to find room but kept well ,the staff were very helpful

Had a great stay ,the room was kind damp but well kept ,the cleaners were very accommodating to our needs as we had three adults. It’s a beautiful older place . The pools and beach area clean with lots chairs and clean . The bartender/waiter Antonio was great and took care of our drinks and gave very useful info to us ,thank you . We were very disappointed in restaurants the food wasn’t much to brag about except the Mexican restaurant were we had a waiter named George who too care of a lot  [... read more]people for drinks and food he never stopped . What a great waiter and we finally had Guacamole which we could not understand was the only place to have it ,whenever we went to resorts before it was always available, we were very disappointed about that . Barcelo Maya Tropical: Great resort

Very clean. Beautiful place. I travel quite a bit and this resort is one of the best I’ve visited. Recommended to anybody going to Mexico. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic food also great for families lots of outdoor space

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Horrible resort

Hotel is dated and in need of upgrading. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean but food and drink were awful. We ate and entertained off resort all of the time to try and save our vacation. Hotel is noisy day and night.
