Hello, I just want to say that this was my 3rd time to GBP. Last time I was there was 4yrs ago. This time, the entertainment was pretty much none existing during the day. Our room smelled of mold. Service was a hit and miss. Over all the resort is starting to show its age. Best a la cart was the Japanese. I went with high expectations. Lower them a little and you will be fine. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Vacation

This beautiful resort has it all. We enjoyed the tropical atmosphere and relaxing in the pool areas just sitting back soaking up the sun. There were people working on flowers, shrubs and trees constantly. The resort was always spotless. We enjoyed the meals and beverages. Rooms were nice and the frig restocked often. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good but some things lacked

Grounds were impeccable, weather was great, beaches fantastic, food was repetitive, breakfast was probably the best selection wise, lunch we always had the the beach buffet and it was almost exactly the same each day, very busy,sometimes no tables,forks,or not replenished enough, dinner at the buffet was also very repetitive, but we had 2 al la Cartes,the garden grill and the BBQ, the main course was fantastic, desserts in all meals looked nice but not tasty at all. Couple issues with our room,  [... read more]aircon would not work at first, no lightbulb in outside light so we could sit outside and fridge would not cool, we mentioned at guest services first night, the rectified the aircon immediately, the light took another complaint and the fridge was never rectified, we were just told that was the way it was, it kept everything probably warmer than room temp. and we could never enjoy what was put in the fridge and the bottle of champagne they left as a special occasion gift. I would go again but I really don't feel it should be rated 5star.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Had a blast!!

This was my second visit to the Bahia Principe Ambar resort and I would strongly recommend this vacation to everyone! The first visit I stayed at Ambar Blue but this time I stayed at Ambar Green. Both are great but Ambar Green has the newer building and the buffet is much smaller which was in my opinion a lot nicer (less chaos/busy and got more attention from the wait staff!). The buffet is amazing and each night there are new delicious choices to choose from! There was 24/7 room service available which I took advantage of by ordering nachos,sandwiches and salads daily! The maids are quick to restock your mini fridge with lays chips, alcohol, water and pop (was restocked every night)! The animation team (namely Claudia, Mandy, Jose & Raynner) were the people who kept us entertained with games, dance lessons and exercising by the pool every day which kept things fun and exciting! When we weren't playing games they were teaching us Spanish, giving us tips about the resort or making us laugh! I will definitely miss them! I felt safe the entire trip and the staff speaks amazing english so it was easy to have any questions answered. All the bar and wait staff were friendly, fun and fast but I especially enjoyed Gabi as my bartender! Victor and Maria were my two favourite waiter/waitress- they always remembered exactly who I was and made my dinner that much more special! Overall amazing trip and I would happily return for a third visit!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Bahia Principle Amber Green

Loved the resort, rooms are spacious, good housekeeping. A lot of activities sports fans and sun lovers and also excellent entertainment all day long and at night. Food is really delicious with unbelievable selection. Amazing house vines including sparkling vine on top of tropical cocktails. Stayed at Blue 2 years ago. Only down side is that next to our building was construction site. Hope that customers could able to select rooms not randomly signed.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Ambar Blue

Good hotel, Service and food have declined since last visit a year and half ago. We were promised something as return guests and it was our 15th anniversary but nothing came. We were told we could go anywhere to eat in buffets and al la carte but when out for an early stroll we decided to stop at esmerelda for breakfast and staff said " sorry lady you no come in here with that bracelet' - so we accepted that awkward moment and moved on. Room had squashed mosquitoes on wall from previous guests  [... read more]and had more when we left. We got eaten by mosquitoes at night in our room. The gardens are immaculate and so is the beach. Entertainment was pretty good, food was good especially as usual fish and chicken and great salad bars. I asked for Virgin coctails and several times they came with alchohol. Not sure if we'd go back to that hotel Love that beach. Ambar Green is beautiful and has a small nice buffet but is farther from the beach.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Immaculate resort

Probably the best kept resort I have ever stayed at! Gorgeous views no matter where you are on property. Small but picturesque private beach. The food was exceptional. Huge variety of food every day and the presentation of the food was outstanding. The staff outnumbered the people staying at resort, so help was always available. Would of liked a couple staff members to be fluent in English. Language barrier was an issue at times. Would of been nice to converse more with staff to learn more about [... read more] the Samana region. Up to me I guess to better learn Spanish! One negative. The resort was surprisingly close to road on one side and you could hear a lot of cars/horns early in morning. Bring ear plugs if u want to sleep in.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Paradise Island

I visited this beautiful island resort with my boyfriend the first week of December. 2016 and it exceeded our expectations on many accounts. The service was superior to any resort we've visited in the Caribbean, including, Mexico, Bahamas, Cuba and St. Lucia....the staff could not do enough for you wherever you were on the island. A la carte restaurants and the buffet were all excellent and upscale. Although the swimming was very good at the beach, it was on the smaller side and somewhat mur [... read more]ky as the prior week had been stormy. We did do an excursion to Rincon Beach which was one of the world's top virgin beaches and stunning with gorgeous aqua waters. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adults only resort and would love to return one day.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Great resort for R & R

We stayed at the resort the first week of December 2016. Highly recommended. Positives - beautiful resort, small with 190 rooms - staff are great, engaging and friendly - food is good to great - lots of chairs and loungers - clean, clean, clean - great views of the mountains, sea and sunsets - good entertainment for a small resort - good house wines - WiFi coverage is okay Cons - small beach but that could be a plus too - not a place for party people but that could be a plus too [... read more] - I'd like to have a sound bar in the room for music If you love quiet, quality service and nature, this is the place for you.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Similar to other Luxury Bahia Principe resorts

We've stayed at 5 LBP resorts now and this was worst location we've stayed at. The hotel chain does a nice job with everything under theiron control. The beach, flies, sand flees, wasps, bees, cock roaches and sewage smell were the worst part. Room great. Services great. Food mostly great. Okay for a pool vacation but I would say the we will not go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great vacation at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum!

Everything was honestly great at the hotel! Every employee was very nice and helpful. The rooms, grounds, pools and beach were amazing. The beach is so close along the whole resort, and everything within this one resort is in walking distance. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was competing with the shuttle service cars on the walk ways. Overall, we would go back in a heart beat and already have recommended this resort to friends and family!

the hotel was an amazing hotel the service was by far one of the best i have been to and I would say i am well traveled we stayed at the Amber Green adult only we even hsd a butler service.they came in at bedtime to fixed your pillar and put chocolate on your bed they know how to spoil you agson yhis was by far the best resort

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very good resort.

This resort is very well run. We had the good fortune of spending half the time at Sian Ka'an and the other half at Coba. There is a reason why the former is an exclusive resort - smaller resort with more personable service. Coba has a good selection of buffets, pools and restaurants. You have to keep reminding yourself that it is a huge resort with a lot of guests. Our only gripe with all the resorts in the group is that as a non smoker we would find a convenient spot outdoors and within a few  [... read more]minutes there would be someone lighting up a cigarette nearby and their smoke would waft in our direction. This would occur first thing in the morning and continue throughout the day into the evening irrespective of the location. Non smoking outdoor areas would be a great option. Otherwise good value for money. Staff in general were very good.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Overall, Great Experience!

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, the hotel had just experienced a massive storm. Our acceptance was welcoming however they were experiencing issues with food at that time because they had had no power all day. We arrived at our room which was delightful, beautiful view, very clean large king size bed, absolutely no complaints there. The beaches and pools are stunning, beautiful sands and lots of space. While there were many weddings going on this week there was always a chair by the pool or beach and you never felt the need to have to try to reserve a space. We attended with a group of about 54 people and nevery struggled to sit with a large group by the pool or beach. The hotel did have some issues as a result of the storm just prior to our arrival with rolling blackouts and water loss perodically throughout the entirety of our trip. With this being said we feel they made the best of it and did all they could to ensure we still had a good time. We ate a candlelit dinner at the buffet one night as a result of the power loss, but they always had food available. We also experienced loss of ac when the power was out but it was never uncomfortable. We had a wondeful time at this resort attending our friends beautiful wedding. While there were some hiccups along the way it was overall a great experience.

Nice staff and grounds, beautiful pool and nice restaurants. Bad experience overall due to frequent power outages causing no a/c , no water for shower or toilet. Also no windsurfing equipment available.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: We were ripped off!

We paid for an all inclusive trip but we didn't get that. The power was out all week from Saturday Dec 3 when we arrived right up until the last day Dec 10 when we left. Water wouldn't turn on, toilets wouldn't flush, couldn't take the elevator and he stairs were death traps at night as they were pitch black. No I wouldn't recommend this resort to my worst enemy. Oh ya and a security guard called me a piece of shit and pulled his baton on me for fishing in the ocean.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Time

The resort was dated and the power outages/no water for a few days was super inconvenient and irritating. Not impressed with that but the sun was shining and the drinks were cold, which made for a great week.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great holiday!!

The only problem we had all week was that our room wasn't ready for us until after 4:00 and we had arrived at the resort at 1:30...long hot wait. The staff was warm inviting and fun, the resort clean and accomodating..had a fabulous vacation over all.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Bahia principe Fantasia

This resort is great for families with kids. I could not have picked a better place for the budget I spent. Only critique I have was the kiosks at the plaza of All the Bahia principe hotels, the sales men were very bothering trying to impose you a sale on the kiosks but you can avoid that plaza all together if you wanted.

Very large resort so be prepared for a lot of walking Friendly and accommodating staff. Great family vacation .We traveled in a group of 17 people ranging from 10 yrs old to 57 . There was Something to do for everyone
