Riu Ocho Rios: RIU Ocho Rios is amazing!!!!!!

I recently stayed at the RIU Ocho Rios and it was amazing! The rooms were very clean and the entire resort was very spacious. The staff were always very pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious especially in the main buffet. There was a lot of variety every night. The beach area was beautiful and clean. This resort was a lot of fun and would highly recommned it to anyone just looking to get away for relaxation time!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort with excellent service.

Excellent resort with all the services you would like to have. We enjoyed every minute of it. Food, service, pool /beach area and rooms in excellent condition. Entertainmemnt in the evening and in pool area very good. We recomment it to all family and friends.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: The beach vacation we were looking for!

We upgraded our room at a cost when we got there because although the room was great, the view was basically of the rooftop below, blah! So we got an ocean view room that, as a room was a bit of a step down but was still pretty good. It has everything you need! The food is fantastic and the staff is pretty good. One thing to prepare yourself for here is the local people on the beach and the taxi drivers out in front of the hotel CONSTANTLY looking for customers. Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing resort

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better place. We stayed in the ocean view suite and the views were spectacular! Our room was beautiful and spacious! The only complaint I have is that there were issues with the hot water tank; however we figured out that if we showered at night we always had hot water, morning so much. The food was fantastic! Riu Guanacaste: EXCELLENT TRIP AGAIN!!!!

The RIU Guanacaste is a great hotel/resort. The grounds are immaculate, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is very good. The entertainment staff is awesome, David and Daniella. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. We were on the 5th floor with a view of the forest and partial ocean view. Had howlers monkeys in the trees just outside our balcony in the mornings! Take the shuttle into Coco Beach for some shopping and hanging out at a bar or restaurant, Coconutz was pretty cool. Riu Playa Blanca: open your pallets to quench your every desires...

This resort has it all. Great people, delicate rooms, with spectacular views of ocean or mountains. Delicious dining that will surely satisfy your every craving . Swim, surf, snorkel,scuba,paddle, pedal, or seadoo your way along the shoreline.Then relax in the hands of spa tech that will have you ready to do it all over again . Evening entertainment, will have you alive till the wee hours of the morning. AWESOME shows and a disco reminiscent to their originating days of the futures past!!

Sol Turquesa Beach: average resort

The hotel was ok the food was terrible anything in the steamers were cold they had the machine drive around and release pesticide in the air for the bugs while eating in the buffet restaurant was not impressed. There were too many stairs and saw cockroaches in the lobby floor and in our room would not go back to this resort.

Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing resort

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The grounds are kept really clean and they have a lot of it. The beach is nice, however, because it is on the Pacific Ocean, the water/sand is dark which is quite a contrast to the blue turquoise of the Caribbean waters.The dining room (buffet) is very nice and the food is out of this world. The only thing that is against them is that most of them speak very little English. The other thing is that they are very friendly once we started speaking/smiling to them first, which perhaps should be the other way around:) They had great entertainment day and night. We also enjoyed a few daytrips. Overall I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Riu Bambu: Kids, kids and more kids

Arrived at this resort at noon on a Saturday, the 1st week in September and by 2pm when we went to get our room assignment we had had enough. Too many children yelling, screaming, jumping and splashing in all of the pools. Could not get near the buffet table for lunch without a child or adult elbowing there way along. The food was not that great anyway. Very noisy. This is a club hotel so we found out later. We were able to upgrade to a nearby resort on Monday and so happy we did. Listed at a 4*+ resort but only in their dreams. 3* at best POSITIVES: Great place for families if you don't like to eat much.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Excellent resort!

This resort was located on a small beach are. However it is sandy white, no stones, beach with clear blue water. The room was standard but very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a terrific time.

Riu Yucatan: Overall good, made the best of it.

The excitement of our vacation started to wear off after Sunwing informed us our flight was delayed 9 hours. Paying for 7 nights, we only got to stay 6 nights. Reception did not provide a warm welcome either, after an exhausting day at the airport, arriving at 7 a.m. The room assigned to us, the bathroom was flooded by overflowing water from the toilet tank. No maid service the first day either? We had stayed at the Riu Palace Mexico last year, loved the beach and returned but chose the Riu Yuca [... read more]tan this time. We made the best of our vacation, our requests were not fulfilled, this was for our anniversary and my husband's retiremen. It's all about $$$. We would probably not return for the reasons above.

Grand Memories Varadero: Fantastic for the Value

Overall assessment amazing The welcome reception was slow/lousy Room wasn't ready until after 4pm Food preparation needs improvement Beach entertainment needs improvement Public/Dinning areas are good.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Riu playa turquesa. Cuba

The hotel was very nice, people super friendly and always willing to help. the low price was a bonus. The weather was great, sunshine all week. I enjoyed my week there and definitely go back. :) love Cuba

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Awesome stay and great Value

went Sept.18 for 4 days at the Riu bahamas. Oceanfront room was fantastic. Great view of the clear sparkling ocean.. There was a musty smell in room but it is a tropical island so turn a/c off and open patio door and it's gone. Buffet was excellent and good variety. Drinks were not watered down. Staff were friendly. Pool was ok but why would you go to the pool when the beach is paradise. Only downfall for me was having to pay $25 for beach umbrellas. This should be included in your all inclusive [... read more] package. We did not purchase an umbrella. I will definitely return to the Riu and would recommend it to anyone

Riu Vallarta: Not so 5 star!

FD staff is not very friendly and does not want to provide service at all! Servers and bartender were friendly! Food was good! A la carte not that great! Bed was really hard! Overall resort was just ok..

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Not the Riu Palace experience I heard or expected

Resort was lovely. However the rooms were damp; slippery floors, sheets felt wet every night. Rooms are outdated and can use an upgrade. Disappointed that at the Disco you had to pay for drinks. This is a first. At check out no one helped with our bags or asked how was our stay.

Riu Guanacaste: Best Trip for our family

This resort is top quality. The rooms are spacious and clean. You get a good selection of food with a lot of local fruits and vegetables. Pool area is where we spent most of time, plenty of chairs. Water temperature was perfect and every day was sunny with 30C, low humidity.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Best hotel

Riu palace Costa Rica is one of the best hotel that I have been.I really happy with everything.I would go back again and recommend to everyone. I went there with my husband and 7 year old daughter to celebrated my 40' birthday .One of the best birthday ever

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Please Change name of resort to just Riu

I have been to four different Riu palaces six different times. My parents are Riu diamond card members. This hotel is not a palace nor should it be. It's a feeder hotel to the Atlantis hotel. Which is fine but not why I went to the Bahamas. I went to relax and enjoy Riu palace hospitality and Serves which I didn't find at all
