The Sens Riviera: Amazing Resort!

We are a family of 4 and got a spacious room, with all amenities in the hotel. Although the room we got was not luxury, all the required needs and services were there for us. The reception facility was, at the initial stage, giving quite dull and darker feelings; but it was well-organized and the process of registration was quite fast. Our one week all-inclusive stay in the 1st half of August was amazing and memorable for the kids and us, due to mainly the extremely friendly hotel staff, breath-taking sea beach with great coral lives, delicious food and beverages, wonderful day-long cultural programmes and activities for all ages, and sea-turtle conservation site on the beach. We got an opportunity to witness around hundred of just hatched baby-turtles were making their way from the hatched place on the hotel beach to the sea at night - amazing feelings for all of us. The hotel staff also cleans sea weeds that did not create any problem to us during using the beach and swimming. The hotel price was also best value for money.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Resort

This is our second time there and we plan on coming again , food is okay but the wildlife and the kindness of the staff makes it really great , we love this place and never regret going. Wildlife alone is amazing!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great place. Great staff. No Vibe

Hi. My wife and 2 teens went to the resort miss August. The season left us without a beach, as there so much sea weed washed up on sore. Smelled really bad. But that is Mother Nature. Not the resort. The food was good (not great but good) staff tested you well and always willing to help. Very nice rooms. We did the diamond club. Which gave you a few perks. I don’t think I used any of them. My only real complaint was the lack of music in every single pool area. Which made for a blend of diffe [... read more]rent music the guest wanted to hear from their own speakers. There were Bose speakers all over the resort. But they opted not to play anything. Unless there was game or something. Music is a real part of the vibe. Plus it muffles the sound of everything else going on. For that reason alone. I do not think I will return.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: One of the best by far!

Not to give every detail away so I’ll try to give the gist of our experience…. I’ve been to many resorts before but this one was by far THE best! Very clean and the service was TOP TIER! We stayed in the adult only section and we had our own butler (Henry was AHHHHmaazing!) the room was massive and we had our own outdoor jacuzzi which added a great additional touch to the room. The beach was never crowded and there we [... read more]re plenty of chairs available (unlike other resorts I’ve been to) no need to wake up extra early to reserve your spot on the beach. A few seaweed along the shore (blame Mother Nature) but nothing that was overly excessive, they ensured to clear it out regularly with their tractor trailer; we spent everyday at the beach so that speaks volumes. The pools were cleaned daily and well kept. Lastly, the food….THE FOOD!!!! The steakhouse particularly was one of the best steaks I’ve had (Medium well done) it was *Chefs kiss*… they had food available at all hours via room service. There was a wide variety of food so you will not be disappointed. I’m a foodie, and I was more than satisfied :) the entertainment crew was great! They respected your space and didnt force you to join their activities/games etc; so if you wanted to have your space to relax, you were able to do so… the music and all the extra loudness was not at all overpowering or distracting. overall, if you’re looking for a resort to relax and just be at peace - this is the one! Lastly, you HAVE TO TRY THE SPA! and I’ll leave it there…you just have to experience it to understand what I mean. Three words: Refreshed, Rejuvenated, & well needed!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful Resort

The rooms are nice, the resort itself is wonderful, very beautiful and the staff were amazing. Hotel is cut into the jungle and the beach portion was very nice. Pools were excellent and never trouble getting chairs. If you are a true beach person this is not the resort for you but the beach part they have is nice and plenty of fish to see snorkeling.

Allegro Playacar: Quaint smaller resort

Hotel grounds are immaculate, very lush and well maintained. Rooms are clean, and our request were taken care of. No problem food wise...if I had any downside opinions, it would be...no after hours snack bar & coffee service.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Excellent resort!

We loved the resort. The food is incredible. The service is outstanding. The public areas and rooms are very clean. Honestly we have nothing negative to say about the resort. It is perfect. It feels like the resort was dropped in a jungle, we love that there is a lot of exotic animals and a lot of palm trees. The only thing is to lookout for the seaweed season, as it can be quite deceiving for people wanting beach days. But that is mother nature and it is not VIM's fault. Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Borderline decent, certainly overpriced

I'm usually not picky with pointless details in terms of quality in hotel services and amenities. This hotel was disappointing. Just the highlights: - A/C failed in our room for about 36 hours straight. The problem happened in several guest rooms and certain other common areas such as the coffee shop. What was truly disappointing was not that much the lack of A/C during our "vacation" but the fact that we had to spend quite a bit of of hours of our vacation time appealing to the "kindness"  [... read more]of several "managers" during different shifts. At the beginning of the ordeal, the management answer was that "it would be fixed soon", after some follow-up inquiries the answer changed to "I don't know when it will be fixed, it is a problem in the entire hotel". To our dismay, walking back to our A/C-less room we find another open room (being cleaned) and we asked the cleaning lady about the A/C to find out that such room and many others across the hotel do have working A/C !!! This is the truly serious disappointment. What a lack of integrity and commitment to serve guests just trying to vacation. Heading back to the lobby to confront the "manager" without integrity we now find there is now another higher-up manager who has no option but to tell the truth. Completely comical in retrospect. The new manager now tells us that there are many rooms with A/C but, believe it or not, they have to check if we can be moved to one of these empty rooms. That of course never happened because they needed about 4-6 hours "to check". Anyhow! enough said, long story short, after 36 hrs without A/C, and a lot of wasted time in frustration with incompetent management, the A/C in our room was fixed. [By the way, we saw quite a few other guests with the same problem and frustration] - Food in the several restaurants is just OK, nothing spectacular and certainly not justifiable for the price. - The hotel in general is kind of rundown. - The cleaning in the room is decent but with poor attention to details. Several days our cleaning lady would either miss to replenish toiletries (including toilet paper!) or to leave clean towels. All in all, I would never go back, not even if they reduce the price by 75%. It seemed the entire hotel was understaffed with stressed out personnel all over the place. I guess is not the staff fault, but very poor management. Biggest issue to me was the lack of integrity with that blatant lie about the A/C.

Ocean Maya Royale: Ok resort

The resort itself is nice well maintained clean rooms were ok the food was awful 7 days one good meal they don’t have a breakfast buffet by the pool only up at the front buffet no entertainment at the quiet pool only the swim up pool we’re all the 20 year olds are sea weed really bad could not go on the beach at all the smell was terrible

Riu Dunamar: Great place

I think they need to make everything all inclusive, we had to pay for the pool in the snack bar. Was very pricey. Seemed it lacked communication since they mixed up our excursion times twice. Great people great place though

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Good resort

Except for the Damp smell that honestly didn’t bother me at all. The resort is great.. there are some many restaurants that I didn’t even try them all. The reserve was great.. There was that guy that was working at the buffet named Miguel.. he’s the best server at the resort. When it comes to alcohol, premium is only for the Start class which I find hard cause we paid close to 5K for a week..

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Good resort for the money

The resort is nothing fancy but the food is good, the rooms are clean and air-conditioned, and the pool area and the beach is tidy. The staff are nice and helpful, but it's best to come prepared with some basic Spanish. And don't forget to tip! The location is a short bus ride away from the hot spots of the Hotel Zone and downtown. There is also a tour sales agent hanging out in the lobby and the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal is next door. So if you're looking to add more variety to your exper [... read more]ience, you have a lot of options. Overall, a good budget getaway and I had a positive experience staying there.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good Value

Have stayed at this resort in Dec 2019. Liked it very much and so decided to go there again. On the previous occasion, guests were able to enjoy lunch at their sister resorts nearby and Alcoholic drinks at the Bars but that has been discontinued. Some premium alcoholic drinks which were part of the All Inclusive package are now being charged extra. The resort was full at the time and there were guests of all ages ranging from Infants to Seniors, some even in wheelchairs.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort

Everything was amazing. It was clean, people were friendly. Great entertainment and nice pools. Food was alright. The only thing is a lot of seaweed on the beach which sucked. Otherwise great resort for everyone! Family friendly!

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Very friendly staff

Overall people and services was very good. Only thing was the Japanese restaurant require you wake up 7am, line up 1 hour to get a spot to registered at 8. It was a disappointment since it was just grill meat, fried rice, and Grocery store level sushi. You’re better off going to the buffet. The buffet was very good, lots of variety. The best part was the cafe which was like Starbucks, matcha latte, ice or hot, and any espresso drink. They have a full espresso machine like a coffee shop.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Amazing swim out

We left on the 20 July for 10 days We opted for a swim out reserve Which was amazing especially when you want to relax and not be in a crowd or to lazy to go out the room wich was very clean but a bit damp a lot of humidity very good service as well for the food It was lacking the breakfast buffet and lunch was good a lot of choice on the reserve side but we had to reserve for restaurant witch was limited so we didn’t Like that because we paid prime dollars to have accès to other r [... read more]estaurants witch were not included in a normal package because They have the reserve for adults only That’s what we had we always travel and book on a resort for adults only we see the difference when a hotel cater for family and adults not the same standards and we book for 10 days so if I would recommend it yes but if you usually go for adults only They are a lot of good choice to choose From so I would give it 7.5 for food A 10 on cleanest a 9 on service Hope it will help you to choice the perfect place for your vacation

Royalton CHIC Cancun: LOVED IT!

I stayed with my boyfriend at the Royalton Chic from Jun 24 to Jul 1st, 2022. We absolutely enjoyed our trip and the staff. No complaints about the food and there was always a lot to do. We recommend upgrading to Diamond Club upon booking as there are a lot of perks you can take advantage of! The location was also perfect and a convenient 10 min walk away from the Cancun strip. Would love to come back again one day.

Riu Vallarta: Riu Vallarta great stay

Riu Vallarta is our favorite resort and employees are there always helpful. I would like send thank you especially to Sheff of restaurants - Mr. Roque, Miss Gardenia Ramos - Public Relations and Miss Nayeli - Customer Service. They are great representatives of Riu resort. They not just make our vacation beautiful thank you their help, but also these people make our vacation unforgettable. Entertainment group with David and Ricardo is like always great. Riu Dunamar: Very good Resort

We like the resort but is too far from the airport and the road needed to be fix. The Ocean sunrise was great , just magic, seemed like the sun was coming out of the water, great view. Could n't swim in the ocean due to sea weeds, was too much, very dirty water at the front. The resort had someone cleaning the sea weeds but he left just outside the water, the wave comes take everything back in the ocean. We really enjoyed the sunrise and the morning walk on the sand. One more thing I want to mentioned that, our departure was early in the morning 9;45 but we had to leave the resort 4 hrs early , the no restaurant open at that time, so coffee, no breakfast. they need to open the area at around 6;00 instead 7 a.m. or have one counter open for people leaving early etc. just a suggestion.
