El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Food! Beautiful view - swim out not ideal.

Great food and service within the restaurants/bar. Super friendly staff. We had some trouble with our hot water for 4 days before it was finally fixed. It was frustrating having to spend time trying to get someone to fix it each day but they were always so nice - it’s hard to complain. The ocean view Swim outs are beautiful BUT (floors 2 and up) don’t get much sun so we never ended up using it during the day…Which for me defeats the purpose. Beach was nice on Palms side and they worked so hard to keep it clear of seaweed. Lots of sunshine spots there. We enjoyed the live music, “quiet” party night, karaoke, beach volleyball. The seaside suites pool was VERY loud in afternoon if you like party atmosphere. Overall a great trip with the gals - I just wouldn’t book Seaside Suites for the swim out. Palm side seemed to have some nice swim outs but some were also super shady. The rooms were clean - I gave rooms 4- star because of the water issue - sounded like a common problem for our particular corner room. If you enjoy pools and a swim out for the sun/convenience - I wouldn’t go to Seaside Suite side. Bar was restocked and great room service.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

The resort was spectacular with amazingly friendly staff. The amenities were numerous and the food at the various restaurants was delicious. The entertainment provided at the resort is top notch! Just off the beach of the resort is a reef with coral and various sea life. The resort is 10 min walk from the local town that has some great restaurants.

The staff were very friendly and professional, especially Carlos & Israel from the pool bar. The food at the buffet and specialty restaurants was excellent. The resort was in good condition was well maintained. Will not be our last visit!

We had a good time at this resort, the food was good and the rooms were clean. The only negative thing I can say is on the last day we were there someone somehow spoke the wife’s and my drinks and we ended up having a very rough night. Will not go into detail but we doth fell that what happened should have been handled a lot better then what it was. Will never visit this place again because of it

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Beautiful Resort

Secrets Akumal is one of the best all-inclusives I’ve stayed at. The design and grounds are beautiful. It has a very natural Mexican feel to it. The food and drinks are excellent quality and there is a lot of choice. The service is outstanding and I always felt well taken care of. The only negatives are the seaweed on the beach and the pressure to upgrade. The seaweed is managed as best they can, but be aware of it. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: The resort was amazing!!

Love this resort!! My family and I stayed at this resort on the week of my birthday and they put a birthday banner on the door and gave us a bottle of champagne. I loved that and thought it was so nice!! The only thing I wish someone told me about was the 2 a la carte dinner reservations. I didn’t know we had to book those right away. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Waste of my money!!

Honestly I went in with high hopes and came back highly disappointed. Keep in mind I’m in my late twenties so I was expecting more people in my age group and it felt like a retirement home. Food is a 5/10. One buffet for lunch and breakfast. Dinner has more options but everything closes at 11 and one “bar/club” that closed that 1 am. No nightlife or entertainment really at the resort. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Good stay beautiful resort

We have been to this hotel a few times before. It’s an absolutely large and beautiful resort . The grounds are clean,so lush and tropical .. pools are huge and amazing.. beach is huge rocky in places but if you find the right area sandy and beautiful The bad: This resort for July was over capacity I would say.. very crowded with large families and wedding groups. This is usually a slower time for them but because of COVID everyone is travelling . Estudio Playa Mujeres: Amazing Resort

The rooms sizes are amazing and very well kept.. all the staff is extremely extremely helpful. The food was excellent. All their restaurants were amazing!! Best kids club hands down!!! Doodle camp was the highlight. They kept the kids entertained till 10:30pm!!!the drinks too were premium and well made

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: It is a very nice resort

We loved the hotel, very well laid out. Unfortunately I fell when I tripped on a curb and fractured my hip. I’m still in the hospital in Cancun recovering . I’m hoping to be able to return to Canada very soon. The paramedics at the hotel were very helpful

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Fabulous Resort

The grounds were very clean keeping in mind it is a eco resort the animals were an enjoyable site to see every day as we ventured out each day.. The room was a nice size. And cleaned daily. The restaurants were very good and the buffet had lots to choose from the pools were a nice size and enjoyed by all and never had a problem getting a chair by pool or beach . The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way

Royalton CHIC Cancun: It's kk...nothing..to wow about

Service was kk. Food needs improvement. Went to Steak house they messed up the orders. Not enough entrainment. The DJ same music every day. The lobby bartender's were great. Excursions are way too expensive at the resort Our bus transportation from Airport to the hotel was messed up. We as a group paid $230 US. Even to going back was messed up, but at the end it was fixed last minute. Our agent from Trip Central (Elaina) didn't do a good job. Even our rooms were all scattered. 12 pe [... read more]ople went and we all had to argue with the front desk to get our rooms close by. Our trip we planned it from January end. Like I said our Agent plus Air Canada didn't satisfy our needs. Going to a new county we were left alone at the airport. They didn't have our name list at all. Overall very poor service.

Grand Sunset Princess: My 16th Birthday trip

If your looking to get your steps in you have come to the right place. The hotel is huge. Which means when booking resturants on the hotel app give yourself time to get there. We recommend booking the room with the pool if you love to swim. The the food was pretty good and consistent with delivery and choices. Always make sure you lock your balcony door because the monkeys come looking for coffee and chocolate. It was extremely clean The staff was extremely friendly No complaints at all we can’t wait to go back . Cleanliness was a plus . No bugs are flies the food areas were clean. We recommend this resort to anyone who asks.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Highly Recommend for a Pool Resort

Pro: 1)cleanliness of rooms, restaurants and pools, 2) choices of a la carte restaurants 3) service 4) comfortable beds, clean linens 5) pools and availability of lounge chairs and shade.br /> Con: 1) Beach is unusable and water is unswimable due to the seaweed. 2) Bottled water, they need to be more environmentally aware since it’s destroying their oceanfront. Need to invest in water filling stations.

Riu Santa Fe: Underwhelming Resort

The beach was beautiful but wasnt expecting to swim in there as the tides and undertow very strong. No fault of the resort. The pools were very nice esthetically but the tiles were falling apart and were constantly stepping on loose plaster, chips and stones. The Infinity pool overlooking the beach was nice providing good views. The food was horrid.... all of it. We didn't enjoy any meals except the italian restaurant. The buffets were horrible and constantly running out stuff, ie pancakes du [... read more]ring breakfast, most likely cuz it was the only thing that was relatively good. The restaurants, you can't make reservations... you have to line up outside the restaurants when it opens and add your name to a list and hopefully they can accommodate the time you'd like, also the restaurants are buffet as well. The Waterpark was good, both for adults and kids. There is no shuttle service so prepare to walk a lot. They host themed parties 4 or 5 times a week and it is crazy loud. If you're in villa 7 and 8 you're screwed. When we asked about switching cuz we had babies with us, they said we posssibly could put you in different villas but you'd be downgrading drastically... we had concerns with our room so we didn't want to downgrade. Our maids were phenomenal. They did a great job cleaning and preparing our rooms, they even found a necklace my wife lost in the room and returned it. This truly is a party resort. If that's what you want go here. If you don't care about food, rooms, conveniences then go here, if you are going with family and young kids.... avoid big time.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Good resort

The grounds of the resort are stunning and well kept. The beach unfortunately had seaweeds some days worse and some days better. Food - fruits and avocados were great. Many restaurants to go to - you have to book them right away. Wi-Fi hit and miss only at the select club bars was solid. Overall, friendly and good attitude from staff. We were allowed to check out late at no extra fee.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing Resort!

This is a beautiful resort, great location with a spectacular view! Management team, front desk, room service was all great, very helpful and efficient. A little disappointed with not having adequate access to the beach in front of the property due to the strong undertow current. Some of my concerns, was the noise level on the first and third floor; housekeeping carts, intoxicated guests kept on slamming their room doors in the night. I was on the third floor in a non-smoking room but the stron [... read more]g cigarette scent from the other rooms came right through the ventilation system into my room, which made it seems like I am in a smoker's room. It seems like this hotel keep promoting their sister hotel "Riu Sante Fe" for entertainment and less focus on this hotel for the weekend entertainment. Overall, it was a very nice vacation.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Fantastic Stay!

We stayed at Secrets Aura Cozumel from June 14-June 28 and had a wonderful time! My hubby and I haven’t been away together in 12 years without kids. So we chose an adults only resort. There were a couple bumps and I want to get them out of the way first. We booked a swim up room that was behind and above the Manatee bar pool. We had a slide down into the pool that was great! Unfortunately it was turned off for 5 days during the first week. They also had a problem with Mustard Algae in the [... read more] pool that week too. We chose not to swim in the pool for 3 days because the algae was so bad. They worked hard on it and got the pool all clear in a few days. We still had 2 other pools to enjoy! We spoke to Carlos at the front desk about our issues and he upgraded us to an ocean view room that had a gorgeous view of the ocean and second pool! Now for all the good stuff! The rooms were clean and well kept. The air conditioning worked all the time. The bed was comfortable and the bar fridge was stocked daily The room service was great. Though it does take about 45 minutes to get your order. The grounds were being all trimmed up as it was spring and the plants we’re growing like crazy. It was quite beautiful to see all the flowers and greenery. The pools were very clean and the beach was fabulous! It is a coral beach so have water shoes for the rough sand. I snorkelled right on the beach and saw some very nice fish. The food was fantastic! We liked everything we ate at all the restaurants. We had a romantic dinner on the beach with our own private waitress. The waitress was perfect and meal was scrumptious. The view at sunset was breathtaking!!! All the staff were the best! Wilberth and Angel at the Manatee bar you rock! The hostesses Nataly(Oceana), Veronica(Market buffet), Rosanna(windows), Esmeralda(El Patio) were beautiful and greeted us and seated us quickly. Our waiters Miguel, Mario(Oceana), Julio, Jesus and Sergio(Market buffet), Juan(El Patio) we’re quick and friendly waiters. We always had something to drink and the food came quickly. Paulina from guest services came around the pool area a few times during our stay to make sure if everything was going well with our vacation. Ruben from Fantasy Travel Excursions helped us plan our day trips and arrange transportation to the airport because we extended our stay and has to get our own taxi. Everything was wonderful all in all. We were treated like family and welcomed back by everyone, and we will be back!! Thank you all for the best vacation we could have😍

TRS Yucatan: Perfect Honeymoon

What an amazing resort!! My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in June for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly and professional and make you feel like royalty. The service in the restaurants is impeccable and the food was some of the best we have ever had, even the buffets were amazing with good variety and amazing quality. The mini fridge is restocked daily and if you need something the butler is a WhatsApp message away!! Quick room tip, if you want a private pool book villa 64 if possible, it seems to have the most privacy of all villas. The infinity pool is beautiful... it gets a little busy during the afternoon but there is still plenty of space. The beach is a little far from the TRS area but do yourself a favor, have breakfast at Helios, then go for a seaside walk on the beach, you'll need the exercise if you enjoy the food as much as we did. The TRS beach area is amazing!! Near the beach bar, not overcrowded and plenty of Bali beds. This area is not directly seaside, but with the background music, drinks, and palm trees you won't notice. One note on the beach, it does get a lot of seaweed and the it is quite rocky in some areas, but they do a great job of cleaning the seaweed daily. The resort is huge but there are carts to take you anywhere on the resort or go for a walk through the covered jungle trails. The only thing that is lacking at the resort is nightlife, with the exception of the Chic Cabaret. There are a few evening events, however the crowd is quite calm so don't expect a big party vibe. The Chic cabaret is definitely worth the $35 usd as the show is absolutely amazing. The food at the show is good, especially if you enjoy seafood. To sum it up, we would absolutely love to go back. If a quite, relaxing vacation is what you want look no further than TRS Yucatan.
