This is a very nice resort! The staff are SO friendly and helpful. If they saw you looking for something or needing something, they were there to help. The food was delicious. The property was very well laid out and has everything! Tennis. Bicycles. Hot tub. Beautiful pool. Private beach. Board walk. Lots of free activities. Yoga. Bingo. Karoake. Movie night. Walking and biking tours. It was like being on a cruise ship. The location was perfect. Walking distance (800 meters) to Cabbage Beach - a[... read more] great fun beach with some 2 meter waves crashing into the shore for some adventure. There's a $4 ferry to downtown Nassau which is fun and they have a guide who tells you all about the homes along the shore and the island's history and a bit of humour. Atlantis hotel resort is also just a 1 Km walk from Warwick Paradise. We liked Warwick Paradise better. Easy to get to the pool and restaurants. Friendlier staff. They make you really feel like a guest. Not a customer. Adults only. I highly recommend this resort!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: amazing resort
This hotel just did 3 million dollar renovations and it was absolutely beautiful, Rooms were nice, loved the large shower and shower head....very clean resort, staff constantly cleaning. The food was great (nice selection) along with the other restaurants that were offered. Infinity pool was nice overlooking the beach and ocean. Capuchino bar was nice, we used it often, couple times a day. Towels were soft which is unusual, they are usually stiff and hard. Staff were very friendly, courteou[... read more]s always smiling with no expectations like some of the other islands like Cuba. Location was great, next door to the Atlantis Casino, convenient. The only complaint I would have is that we had a late flight out and checkout was at 12:00, they didnt have a room for people to use to shower in, you had to pay $100.00 to get an extension on your room and that was limited to a certain # of people so I was told. Do not want to pay an extra $100 just to shower.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Perfect location!!
The Riu has made such great updates since the last time we went there! The infinity pool with the swim up bar was definitely the best addition.
We arrived at 11am and were checked in and provided our room within 5 minutes of arrival. Very friendly staff!
The location next to the Atlantis is such an added bonus!!!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Perfect Location
The food and staff were excellent. Good size of resort. Beach is beautiful.
The only thing would be the room smelled a bit and air conditioner not working very well.
Felt very safe outside the resort.
The French restaurant was a bit too long to wait for our meal.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Carefree Escape
The very best thing about this hotel is the staff. We enjoyed every individual who worked to make our holiday everything we could have asked for. The hotel is fresh, spotlessly clean and offers non stop fresh and carefully prepared food, drinks both non alcoholic and alcohol. The pool is well maintained and the ocean of course is stunning.

Warwick Paradise Island: Great long weekend
I picked this hotel because it is small and we were only there for a long weekend . We loved Edgewater Grill restaurant and the Italian was good as well. The staff were all friendly. The hog bar is very busy so service can be slow.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Beautiful beach!
The rooms at this resort are very dated, unless you get a VIP room (time share). Other than that the resort is great. Staff is very friendly, food is great and the beach is beautiful! For just relaxing it’s a good spot. The resort is quite isolated, so there’s not a whole lot to do unless you take a tour or rent a car.

Warwick Paradise Island: 7 Days in Warwick Paradise
It usually takes me about a week after I get back from vacation to write a review but it's my last night here and I decided to write my review before I go home because this is how great this place is!
The Warwick resort is absoluetly amazing! I decided to chose this resort as I was celebrating my 25th birthday with my fiance and needed a nice warm getaway (although its a bit chilly its better than snow!)
From the moment we checked in we were welcomed with warm smiles and offered drinks. A[... read more]ll of the wonderful ladies and gentlemen who work at the front desk have been so helpful whether it's calling a taxi, getting change for the laundry or a simple question that I had. They know their stuff and with both of us working and previously working in the hospitality industry these are the little things we look for when traveling.
The room we stayed in was a basic Islandview King room. My view was partically the beach, mostly construction that was going on then the island and when where all the boats and yatchs park. I was also able to see when the cruise ships were coming in and leaving. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfy. The washroom and room are kept extremly clean by the staff. There was even a time I left my pajamas on the bed and I came back to them folded nicely on the side i was sleeping on lol. So big shoutout to them for that!
The food... omg the food! Verandah (the daily buffet) is out of this world. Being of caribbean decent I always look for flavor and taste in food when traveling because I know most resorts try to cater to everyone and make the food a little bland but WARWICK! No chile I probably gained about 25 pounds this week the food is superb. The food isnt only good at the Verandah but every single food spot is on point. One thing though is sometimes its a bit to cold in there so by the time you get your food and sit down the food is cold. Dessert is super tasty if you have a sweet tooth. Even the drinks are on point. The staff at the Hog Bar and also the Rum Cay bar know how to make a drink! Chickcharine's was my fav spot to hit up at 1am for a burger or hotdog I just wish there were more night options. Like the conch fritters or quesidilla, but one person works there so its understandable. Abbicco (Italian), Tings(Asian) and Edgewater Grill are to die for! Each one of them brought their own unique flavors and everything was always cooked to perfection.
Lastly the beach. The beach is a bit tricky, if its a super hot day (like my second and third day) its impossible to find seating on the beach or even the pool. Although it is a smaller closed off area I think there needs to be more chairs and umbrellas. When it was cooler out and people decided not to go sit on the beach it was a breeze finding seats. Although the water was cold the sun was just right. Whether on the beach or the pool someone always came around to ask if youre okay and I really likes that because if i was comfy in the sun I def didnt want to get up for a drink.
I would like to give a special thank you to Chrishantie for answering all of my questions before arriving, Shama for the quick and easy check in after our long flight & Jarvis for being an amazing server all three nights we had him at each restaurant. (Abbiocco, Edgewater, and Tings) I feel terrible that I cant remember her name but she worked at Chickcharine's whenever she saw me she always smiled and said hi, and didnt hesitate to make my late night snack. Also to the ladies in the excursion office Tamarah ( i really hope thats her name) was so friendly and sweet. Although my excursiom got cancelled due to weather she still gave me other options.
Overall Warwick 5 stars! I had an amazing birthday so thank you for that! I would recommed this resort to anyone young or old for your first time in the country. There are so many options and fun things to do here or if youre just looking to lay around in the sun you can do it all here !

Riu Palace Paradise Island: reconsider this hotel
This hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We spend 4 nights Jan 21 -24. On our 2nd day we were moved to another room. our 1st night in the 2nd room my partner c/o of red bump on is skin. He said it could be bed bugs. I though no way the room appears clean. On our forth night we saw bedbugs running on the bed along with roaches on the floor. We came back home in terrors, hoping that no bedbugs came in our belonging. To date Jan 30 our suitcases remains in the garage. We wash our cloth[... read more]s in hot water, but is still afraid to bring them to bedroom. We have no peace of mind since returning because it takes a lot of work to get rid of bed bug. We did a incident report b4 leaving the hotel and no one contacted us back. This means they are aware of the problem.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Amazing
The hotel was beautiful the service was excellent and the food was great. Our room was very nice and always clean
One thing we were very disappointed was that my wife forgot her winter coat in the room and we called after 45 minutes from checking out and they said not there and was nothing left in the room which is not true cause we even left a pair of my sandals there.

Warwick Paradise Island: Hard working, good-natured staff and accomodation with room to grow
Location: Centrally located. Brisk walk to Atlantis Resort; Marina side (dated and it shows), really nice walk to Cabbage Beach (Riu). Able bodied travelers will reach Straw Market (downtown) quite easily, though you need to cross the bridge each way. Stretch those legs. Save yourself a cab.
Pool / Ocean access: Great pool access. Ample room. Ocean access is limited / cut off by Nassau Harbour. If you prefer more of a traditional Bahamas beach you're 10 mins from Cabbage or a bus ride to Saun[... read more]ders beach. Depends on your appetite.
Food / Service: We found the food and service consistently good. Out of a 4-day stay there was only one meal we found fell below our standards (@ Edgewater Grill). Our mistake to order steak perhaps. One of the servers, Jarvis - was a standout 5-star every night. Give that gentleman a raise! At times the buffet was a bit meager that might be a result of the % of guests booked at the hotel - we found the week we stayed, the hotel was about 40% full.
Overall value - good. I wouldn't call this a 4-star resort. However, if a few things were addressed - E.g. shower heads (bathroom), check-in/check-out expediency, improved organization on airport transfers ... it would raise my expectations certainly. Thanks all @ Warwick for a great stay.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good resort but know that you will spend a lot of time in the lobby!
We arrived around 10am and were told we couldn’t check in until 3pm. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good and everyone had to sit in the lobby for hours. Food was amazing, didn’t go to any a la carts but we have been to the same restaurants in Aruba and they were fantastic. Hotel and rooms were spectacular. Very beautifully done. Staff was fantastic, very nice and very helpful. Was surprised that there were no souvenir shops at the resort and only 1 bar inside to get drinks (with the exce[... read more]ption of the coffee bar). On our last day we had to check out at noon and were told that we could not get a late checkout (we had a note on our door). Check out was noon and bus didn’t pick us up until 7:30pm so again we had to sit around. People were sleeping in the lobby because we had no where to go. Also, people had arrived that day and weren’t allowed to check in so there were tons of people awkwardly hanging around. Something needs to be done about the scheduling issue. While we checked out we noticed that there was a paper with peoples names that were allowed a late checkout but staff said that no one was allowed to check out late. Found out later that people were allowed to so we weren’t too impressed. Went to see the sea lions and it was amazing!! We snuck over to atlantis because it was right beside our resort. All in all it was ok. Had the weather been better we probably would have had a better time, although during the 84 hours we stayed, 13 of the hours we had no where to go. Also, had an oceanfront room and it was so worth the extra money!

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Beautiful
Bahamas is a paradise and the resort is pretty good...some “basic standard “ rooms aren’t upgraded and the “ocean view “ rooms are too close to the “night show stage†so even if you have decided to get sleep earlier and skip the show, you may forget to sleep until midnight :)
And, in general, this is a good place to escape for all the ages.
The stuff are great, professional and friendly, the food is good, the ocean is fantastic.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Melia Nassau Beach Resort not worth the money
Visited from Jan 4 to Jan 11, 2018. Humongous hotel was almost empty as we found out later. At the reception they announced that they were giving me Free upgrade with the pool view on the second floor. When I checked in the room I was disturbed by loud noise from across the hall. Sounded like heavy machinery used by construction workers. I thought it was temporary, some kind of renovation. But few hours later the noise was still there. The cleaning lady said the construction work should stop aft[... read more]er 4 pm, but it did not. I could not believe they gave me a room in that zone and called it an upgrade. I went to the reception and complained. They gave a room in the opposite end of the hotel where was very quiet (same view at the pool). The coffee maker in the room was broken and dirty. I asked for replacement twice, but it did not come until I run into hotel manager and mentioned it.
The last two days we had strong winds which filled our room with loud noise that was coming from the balcony because the sliding doors were too loose. I noticed that there was paper jammed between the rails of the door and realized that it was done to reduce the noise. I squeezed more paper to fix the door and it worked.
There were only two restaurants indoors that were open. Awful service and food. In Silantro restaurant the neighbouring table had dirty plates all the time we were there. No one bothered to clean it up. I lost appetite, it was so disgusting.
Buffet menu was the same every day. Same meat, same vegetables, same salads. Dessert was grocery store level.
Hot tub was so dirty you would not want to wet your feet there.
Entertainment was so so. You have a feeling that hotel is on the verge of going out of business.
I stayed in resorts in Mexico and DR many times and wanted to try something different this time. Trust me, you would get ten times better service and food for the same money in those counties.
