Riu Reggae: Amazing resort
I would recommend Riu Reggae to anyone that wants to do a vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I can’t explain how pleased we were of this hotel. I definitely would give 5+ star. The grounds were extremely well kept, the food was excellent, the entertainment was fantastic and the activities during the day was great. Never a time to be bored. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there. Thank you for making this a wonderful vacation.
Riu Reggae: RIU Reggae - a great place for a vacation
This resort is spotless with cleaning staff being very attentive to both our room and outdoor amenities. Response to our request for additional pillows, blankets and towels was quick. The hotel offers an APP that you can use for just about anything you may want! You can also make your restaurant reservations and book services using this feature. There are also plentiful security, attendants and cleaning staff roaming beaches, pools and general premises to ensure safety and cleanliness thr [... read more]
Riu Palace Baja California: Riu Baja California
Nice hotel. Food and drinks were good. Lack of security at the beach access. Vendors crossed over the rope and bothered us constantly. Lots of theft either from vendors or passersby. Cell phones, shoes. The hotel management didn’t seem to care too much. Also, absolutely no drink service on the beach, even if you wanted to tip. Seemed to concentrate on the pool area. Smoking pits were offered but lots of people smoking wherever and nobody did anything about it. It’s the 2nd time to this resort. [... read more]
Riu Republica: Nice pools and beach
The hotel sold our room when our flight was delayed. They didn't give us clean bathmat or towels multiple times and threw our blanket on the couch. Servers seemed annoyed to be there. They would not give us dry beach towels. The pools were nice, drinks were good. Food was ok. Specialty restaurants are just themed buffets.
Riu Tequila: Riu Tequila: Still Awesome
This resort to me is still truly awesome. Location is excellent, heavily secure gated community in the heart of Playacar. The facilities are showing a little of its experience. but all in all I believe it adds character and ambience of a well-established resort. STAFF is still biggest asset. They are so friendly, polite, helpful and aid in helping you feel comfortable, secure and happy. All areas are very clean and manicured to perfection Resort lobby and the room in which I stayed were spotless [... read more]
Riu Ocho Rios: Vey Good resort
We liked the time spend in the resort. The room was comfortable, big enoiugh. It was cleaned every day. Bathroom was very good. Balcony was a nice addition to the room. The beach was perfect, just enough space for everyone, no need to book a place, as the shade was widely available. Food court was good, with good selection of different food. The personal in the court was very helpful. Italian restorant was the best from all others. Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay in the resort and would [... read more]
Riu Ocho Rios: Ya Man
We spent a week at Riu Ocho Rios! Such a great resort! Friendly staff and cleanliness. A good variety of food at the buffet and a la carte. Very safe as it’s on a private beach. However, it’s 1.5 hours from airport but it was worth it.
Riu Republica: Loved the resort.
We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The food was great with lots of variety. The resort was well kept. The room was clean and the staff were all polite and helpful. It would be nice to have a boardwalk to get to the beach. The loose sand is very difficult to walk on especially since I need a walker due to knee and hip replacements.
Riu Vallarta: I loved it
Everything surpassed my expectations I liked the way the crowd got involved with all the activities Excellent entertainment Great food Great facilities Definitely recommend to others Riu party was the best
Riu Playa Blanca: Beautiful resort
The hotel rooms could do with upgrades to fixtures and fittings, tv could do with more channels as there was only one in English, maybe an upgrade to satellite. The pools. Bar pool could do with a good scrub under the middle island, you can see black mold also the kiddie Pool could do with a coat of paint to make it look better as it is well worn . The restaurants, Italian, Asian, and Buffet were excellent but the Steak house was disappointing. Our waiter Rey was the best in the buffet, he wa [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: First All Inclusive Vacation
The RIU Playa Blanca resort, although showing it's age a little still made up for it with it's amazing restaurants, great pools and a friendly atmosphere. But the true value at the resort is the staff who were amazing and willing to do anything for you. I only wish I could give them a higher rating than 5 star.
Riu Playa Blanca: Great Resort
The resort and room was very clean. Was impressed with the buffet an poolside offerings.Service was excellent at the lobby bar.Deep sea fishing trip booked at resort was awsome. I would definitely recommend this resort to a friend.
Riu Dunamar: Riu Dunamar is exceptional
The hotel grounds were immaculate and cleaned numerous times daily. It was unbelievably clean. The beach is fantastic, no seaweed, very very nice, soft sand. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. The food was also very good and had something for everyone. It's about 25 minutes north of Cancun Airport, so taxi's or Uber's are needed to get to activities inside Cancun city. Its very close to Isla Mujeres for any snorkeling adventures or day trips. Riu Flamingos: Great resort
Very clean, grounds lovely, food was excellent. Rooms are older but kept in great condition. I would go back to this resort again! Lots of room around the pools and beach easy to find lounge chairs. The beach is large and beautiful. Staff is very hardworking and friendly.
Riu Playa Blanca: Love this resort!
Second time at this resort. Four of us went last year. We were very impressed so took a group of 14 this year! Rooms are adequate, service is very good, food is amazing as there is something for everyone. Beach not the greatest so we stay and enjoy one of the 4 pools. Staff we found is very friendly. The grounds are very well kept! Looking to return again next year!
Riu Guanacaste: another great stay
another great stay at the Riu Guanacaste. although busier than previous trips - there are another 300 rooms - overall a fine experience. the food was great, the staff friendly and responsive, the entertainment at night was fine.
Riu Bambu: Ok resort
The hotel was clean .Way too much walking to get around.nice pools. The food was not great.one of the restaurant s the food was too salty.the service could be better.drinks were good.Did not like the taste of their beer
Riu Emerald Bay: Great place
Went for a week with a friend! We both in our 20's had a blast! Uber downtown is 12$. The place is great, food is "ok"..staff are very friendly. Lots of drinks types. Beach is ok plenty of activities. God bless all
Riu Palace Aruba: Good Resort
I have been to the RIU in Bahamas, and the Catalonia in Costa Mujeres. The food at Aruba Palace is similar to the Bahamas, very good. But the service falls short. It appears that the Palace, restaurants and buffet areas are understaffed. Beach papayas are difficult to secure, you need to be up at 7 AM to secure one.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: nice but not a 5 star
Riu's are predictable for a comfortable vacation. Should not have palace statis. Staff and food is always good. Has a great beach where you can walk for miles. Once a 5 star I believe it is in need of some upgrading. Costa Mujeres feels cold with its pure white artless hallways, almost hospital like. Clean, but basic rooms. But all in all its always a good time at a Riu
