Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing staff and beach

Can’t say enough about how great the staff are. The beach was awesome. The Italian restaurant had a great menu and was delicious. The main pool was disappointing and small. I am a beach bum so it didn't bother me. Rooms were clean.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Beautiful resort

The hotel was beautiful, probably the cleanest hotel I have been in also the grounds were beautifully looked after & clean. Hotel staff were very friendly & helpfull. We ate at the buffet for every meal and there was lots of variety of foods for all meals and plenty of it. I would highly recommend this resort great for families with children. It is a large resort with a fair amount of walking

Krystal Grand Cancun: Beautiful Place

This hotel was great. Wonderful location right on the beach. The buffet was great, good food and lots of choice. We weren’t too happy with the restaurant Risotto, won’t go there again. Staff was amazing and the hotel and grounds were kept clean. Highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely go back.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Excellent resort

The site is kept very good, food excellent we try buffet and all the à la carte, yes we had to wait at 2 à la carte but not a big deal we are in vacation so we had a drink ( we had a buzzer very handy). The staff very professional and very nice. House keeping excellent. We will go again and recommend

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Great resort, great service!

We just returned from a week at Planet Hollywood and loved every minute of it. Highlights included the gorgeous, well maintained sandy beach, the lazy river (and grotto bar!) and of course the wonderful service. Every employee went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were great. Krystal Grand Cancun: Great Time in the Altitude Tower!

Great time! We stayed in the Altitude Tower Oceanfront suite 6th floor! We were very happy with our room, wonderful view, very clean and comfortable. Spent a few days hanging out at the infinity pool and a couple of days on the beach. Both places provided great views, and excellent food and drink service. Would have loved a little more entertainment, the best evening was Mexican bingo. Got to make some new friends and had some laughs. Staff that made our vacation outstanding were Jahir, Ivette,Celerino infinity pool,Luis on the beach. Hervi and Ishmal at Ayami,Daniela and Pedro at Risotto. And Reyna our housekeeper wonderful smiles and laughs. We found the alcohol watered down and I didn't enjoy the wine. But would return for the beach and the staff.

Riu Latino: Riu Latino

Resort is beautiful, long sandy beach, water little rough but did not prevent us from swimming in the ocean. Resort is clean, well maintained, food no complain, service excellent. Rooms spacious; air conditioning working perfect, cleaning service excellent. All in all great vacation!

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Such an AMAZING HONEYMOON!!

We came to Planet Hollywood for our honeymoon April 8-15. We stayed in the adult only section and upgraded to star class. We stayed in building 11 and it was a good location in our opinion. Honestly our butler Yomelly truly made our experience the best. We had a second butler Issac who was also truly amazing!!!! They both went out of their way each and everyday to check in on us, see how our dinner went the night before, share the resort activities for the day and Yomelly would even show up  [... read more]to our dinner reservations to make sure we had everything we needed. Further to all of this amazing service, Yomelly and Isaac even decorated our room one day to surprise us for our honeymoon. It was so heartfelt!! The resort itself is beautiful. I know there are some reviews that complain how only a 3 year old resort can look run down, I disagree. Yes there is some wear and tear but there are over hundreds of people staying there ALL the TIME, you’d think there would wear and tear. I didn’t see any issues with the wear and tear and it did not take away from our amazing experience. The food is great! Buffet food is buffet food, the adult Braza Grill for breakfast is great, the Sunset Steakhouse is so good!!!!! Catch is great for lunch! Pool entertainment on the adult side is so fun. Moses, Hector, Adrian & Carlos hosted fun challenges and games! The DJ was also very good. The foam party on Friday was a lot of fun!! Overall we had an amazing time and we will be back in January 2025 for our friends bday as we sold her on having it at this resort!

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Hotel dios playas faranda

When we first got to this hotel I was very surprised at the size ! It was small villas which we found more cozier. Rooms are cleaned everyday, towels changed ! I love where the safe is situated , easy for me to reach ! There is the main buffet dining room , there is an a La carte Mexican restaurant , pizza place and Japanese. Krystal Grand Cancun: Good resort

The beach is breathtaking. White sand, clear water, no vendors. Lots of chairs if you are there early. Locals are on the beach also but don’t use resort chairs. Hotel overall was good. Small resort, lots of pools, but lacked entertainment. I prefer to just walk up when I am hungry. The buffet was small, was almost all Mexican food and service was lacking. You needed to find staff to get water or cutlery. It’s a short walk to the market, grocery store, restaurants and bars. We felt safe off of the resort. Very long bus ride to Plays del Carmen. But a short walk to get a ferry to Isla Mujeres which we enjoyed and rented gulf carts to see the island.

Moon Palace Cancun: Great vacation and resort!

We all had a great time at Moon Palace! Stayed at Sunrise and convenient location to the beach and restaurants. Resort was clean and service was great. Brenda was so helpful with booking us the vacation and giving us great advice. Thanks!!!

Riu Dunamar: Not a senior friendly resort.

We had to walk 500 steps to get to the elevator from our room. The stairs were near but it was hard for my husband to use those. He is 85 years old and has Alzheimer’s. The dining area floor seemed to be slippery in some spots and I know I had to be careful not to walk fast. > Room lights were all very bright, so reading in bed was not fun. Corridors were very poorly lit. I even found the toilets rather far to take my husband who needed to go frequently. Krystal Grand Cancun: Disappointed

Krystal Grand Cancun-Altitude Tower (Upgraded) Other buildings are older and outdated. Altitude tower was nice. The beach was absolutely perfect. The pools were good, and the drinks were decent. The food was by far the worst I have had at an all-inclusive. Keep in mind that I am not fussy, and I have been to several resorts. There were very few a-la-carte options; Asian food was okay. The buffet had limited choices and not very good food. It was a really small buffet, considering the size  [... read more]of the resort. Altitude guests did have a private breakfast sit-down meal, which was actually really good, with lots to select from. Room service was available (and free) to have things like burgers and nachos. This was helpful when I was tired of the limited restaurants and buffet selection. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was very limited entertainment, which was surprising to me. The first few days, there was no radio playing music anywhere. Then, it seemed on day 4 of 7, they started having a bit of music by the pool. There was only one show (Mayan theme) in the entire 7 days. I found we needed to go off the resort for any entertainment. The location was great; it was in the heart of downtown Cancun and within walking distance of many great spots. It is a family resort with adult-only areas, and small children are everywhere. Small kids were even sitting up at the bar I would not return to this resort unless there were some changes. I honestly hope to hear changes made someday, and I would reconsider. I am not the person who typically makes complaints, so don't think I am another person who just likes to complain. I am purely being honest. If I had to rate this resort: Food 3/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Entertainment 2/10 Drinks 7/10 Beach 10/10 Location 10/10

Occidental Costa Cancun: Fantastic

Everything was fantastic especially the staff. The swimming area in the ocean was small but access to the bars was very easy to get to also the ala carte. Met a lot of nice people from England, Poland , Ottawa Alberta , US , Argentina, The excursion was very good and also the tour guide. The staff always cleaning all round. The buffet was great and the snack bar.

Riu Latino: Decent resort

Very clean. Friendly staff. Food options are limited but there is something for everyone. We had a hard time getting bottles of water, had to call down several times to get some...There is a lack of bathrooms and ways to get drinks. And basically zero food after 10pm. Had a great time, but would probably goto a different place next time or different RIU.

Sandos Cancun: Great vacation!

The suite was very spacious, staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was very good for the most part. We found the cabana loungers a little rickety and worn, but still enjoyed sitting around the pool. The resort was very clean and well kept.

Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Lovely resort

Nice place, clean and modern! The Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Amazing pools especially on a rooftop are unforgettable memories. Food, drinks and service were great in restaurants, bars and other facilities. A small issue was with housekeeping one day, they missed to clean room but when I called they sent immediately a housekeeper. In general the stay was enjoyable!

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Would def go back

Great resort, very clean, great food, lots to do, my in laws did have an issue with their reservation, they said it had been cancelled, they did get a room and it figured out with a few phone calls not sure who’s fault that was, Tripcentral? West jet? Hotel?

Krystal Grand Cancun: Mostly a fantastic experience

We really loved our Oceanview suite in Altitude building, from March 30-April 9th. 10th floor provided an amazing view of the increadible beach and turquoise water. Resteraunts were all great and staff were even better. Our favorite was Risotto, but also loved Ayami, both from menu or tepanaki table. The staff really made the trip, even better. We did have conerns with the lineup to make reservations, every morning, however, told a new online system was to be launched any day, so hopefully this will improve for future quests. I chose yo get up at 6:30 every morning to secure good free lounge chairs, with palapa every morning. I suggest you bring some identifiable beach clips to put on your towels. I do recommend Altiture building, as elevators both work and are quick. Updated rooms. Good air-conditioning, robes, updated amenities such as coffee bar and tiloiletries. We are in early 60's but any age not caring about next to no entertainment, would enjoy. We like a quiet night, following g dinner and a few drink. Lots of entertainment nearby if interested. I feel this cody resort on best part of the beach gave us good value for the great price we paid!

Breathless Cancun Soul: Ok resort

Definitely read the reviews before you come. We were disappointed in a few things . First , no beach not private right beside a public access to the beach right beside a lot of tour boats , lots of kids crowded and no beach as it’s covered in seaweed ( all over though) . We traveled in a group of 12 and bc you can’t reserve any restaurants ( first come first serve ) we had to wait long lengths to eat dinner .
