Riu Santa Fe: Funtastic Resort!

We are a 60 year couple that loved this amazing resort. There was so much to see and do there. The entertainment staff kept us laughing with the hilarious games, dancing to their fabulous tunes and excercising with the inspiring water arobics coaching! Even the nighttime shows were wonderful. Everyone is so talented and work so hard to keep the guests happy. Now I must mention the pool parties!! I felt like I was in Vegas. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and everything is so pristine and clean. Even the public washrooms were fresh and clean all the time. The only downfall is the beach. Although it is beautiful, it is too rough to swim in. Also, it is hard to even walk along the shoreline due to the slope and angry waves! Loved it here and would love to return again with a large group to party like we were young again!

Riu Santa Fe: A wonderful stay!

The Riu Santa Fe is the fourth Riu hotel we have stayed at. and it did not disappoint. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, the pools incredible, the food first class and the service staff friendly and helpful. This was the first time we came with a young child and my only comments about this particular experience is that the noise level from music, loud speakers and loud drinking partygoers was non stop. We were lucky enough to be housed in a building a little off the beaten track but the [... read more]re were many times that our rest/sleep was interrupted by loud music ( pool parties)and voices of guests who had had considerable amounts of liquor to drink. While I appreciate the fact that we all come to an all-inclusive for different reasons, partying and hollering in the corridors at 4:30 a.m spoils the holiday for the rest of us.. Perhaps placing families with babies and young children in parts of the hotel as far from the high noise level areas as possible could keep everyone happy. I will definitely return to another Riu in Mexico, but I will check first to avoid the ones the are well known as 'party hotels'.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: You can't beat the view!!

We stayed for a week with family (May 13th) and had a lovely time. The resort grounds and view are breathtaking. This is our 2nd time staying at the Riu Palace in Cabo - last time was 10 years ago. The rooms/bathrooms have been renovated and are really nice with firm but comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. Only complaint is that the bed only came with a bit of a sheet. We had to pull a blanket from the closet and put that on. Room/bathroom were always super clean with the cleaning s [... read more]ervice getting in and out without us ever seeing them. Fridge was always fully stocked as well as towels, facecloths, etc. This is not a resort for people with mobility issues. Lots of walking and lots of stairs. Takes several sets of stairs up and down again just to get from one pool to the other to get a towel. Service at all bars and restaurants was great. Always super friendly and helpful. However, any complicated drinks (including a margarita) were not always done well or the same way. They use some sort of super sweet lime syrup for the margaritas so when we could get a bartender alone and not busy we would ask for them to make it with fresh limes instead. Not sure why they just don't have big jugs of lime juice instead of what tasted to be pre-made. The resort has a huge buffet for all three meals. Probably the best buffet choices of all the resorts we've stayed at. Food was pretty good. We tried all of the a la carte restaurants. Kristal was our favourite as was the Japanese. The rest not so great and because there are only a few meal choices on any of the menus it was hard to go back to the same place more than once. Also note that by no fault of the hotel, there's no swimming on the beach in front of the resort. Its too rough. However, you can walk for a few minutes down the beach to a spot thats a bit calmer. You can also walk into town on the beach.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Such an Awesome Time!!

We were extremely impressed with the Riu Palace. We travel to a lot of All Inclusive resorts and this one is by far the best. The grounds were immaculate, the resort is very clean and well taken care of down to the very last detail, such as how the dining chairs were positioned at the main buffet restaurant. We decided to eat the rest of our dinners at the buffet because it was so good. You have to sit in Rodimiro's section, he's the best waiter! The pools were large and clean, you could always find a place to sit, not sure if it was the time of year we went but the resort never seemed over crowded and there was pretty much never a line up for anything. The servers around the pool were amazing also, also asking if you need another drink of something. The infinity pools were awesome, you could look right out onto the ocean. While we were there the waves were intense, I'd say close to 15 ft. It was amazing to see. The Beach is beautiful. We had a red flag the entire time but that was ok with us, because watching the waves come in was mesmerizing. If you walked down the beach a little toward Cabo San Lucas you would swim. The water temperature was nice. Our room was super clean, we had one of the rooms with the pool and I highly recommend it. It was nice to just chill at our room and not have to go to the main pools to cool off. The only thing that I didn't really like was that everything shuts down at midnight, or close to it. It didn't bother us every night because some nights you are exhausted anyway, but other nights you want to stay up and enjoy yourself. Both the Santa Fe and the Palace shut everything down around that time. There are A LOT of stairs, which we didn't mind but if you are older or weren't into doing stairs then this might not be the resort for you, check out the Santa Fe, it was more flat. I enjoyed the multi levels however, because the view from the lobby was outstanding. I would highly recommend this resort and we will be back, which says a lot since we don't do repeat visits to resorts.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: great place

Riu Palace in Cabos was a great place spotless rooms grounds and restaurants. the rec staff pool side are all great a special shout out to Edgar Orteiz he is rec manager material.View from the coffee shop terrace is worth the trip. Sunwings flights were wellrun and pleasant. Food in the alacart was delicious. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Will never go to any other resort EVER!

Been to Jamaica, DR, Cuba and this resort, city, food, hospitality, cleanliness, people, safety, fun, parties were out of this world! I will never go to another resort EVER again because I had the time of my life in Los Cabos/Riu Palace is truly a palace! Food is amazing, resort pools were great, only downfall is that u cant swim in the ocean but other than that! 5 stars +!! Highly recommend!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Outstanding Ziva!

Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. The design and layout is very well planned. The food in particular was excellent. The Steak and Asian restaurants were our favourites. Will definitely plan to go back.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: This will be the first all inclusive I plan to go back to!

The hotel was very clean, from the pool to the dining area. My room was always stocked and organized. Riu Palace supports a mixed crowd, from couples to singles and everything in between. Have fun :)

Riu Santa Fe: Great Resort and Friendly Staff

The grounds were very clean and well kept. The pools are awesome and so are the bartenders at the swim up bars. My family loved the vacation. The activities were fun and abundant for all ages. The specialty restaurants had a variety of food and quick service. The food was great, however the wine needs improvement. The nightly entertainment was excellent and different every night. My family loved it and will always remember the great time we had!

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Lovely vacation!

We absolutely loved our vacation at this hotel. The staff were amazing and so attentive and accommodating. The food was very good (especially the Asian restaurant!). They had plenty of vegetarian options as well. Our room was a swim up ocean view and it was lovely. Quite private with a great view. There was only one main pool, which held a lot of activities. We found it nice in the morning but loud in the afternoons. If we hadn’t had a swim up, I would have found it difficult to relax.  [... read more] We prefer a relaxing vacation, and found it was great. There seemed to be plenty of activities if you wanted to participate. The only downsides to this hotel were that the wedding receptions are quite loud and they seem to be done outside on the grassy areas. Close enough to rooms to be quite annoying with loud music from around 8-10:30pm. However they always seemed to shut it down by then. Overall this didn’t affect us too much, but it wasn’t ideal.

Riu Santa Fe: Exceptional resort

Beautiful grounds, pools, rooms, food was fantastic. Stayed in building 4 - central and quiet at night. Activities for all ages. Excursions can be pricey, entrance fees and insurance extra on everything. Kimberlie is a great asset to Tripcentral.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Amazing property!

Breathless is an Amazing property with fantastic service! Great location, fabulous food and spectacular service!! And the drinks are top notch! All rooms have a spectacular view of the marina. We will be back!

Riu Santa Fe: Better than could ever expect

What an amazing hotel. It is absolutely huge, with something for everyone. It is so clean, you could eat off the floor of the public bathrooms. Pick you pool according to your party needs. Beach area pool a little to crazy though with mid twenty somethings just totally out of control. Lots of other pools for normal people. Good entertainment every night with good seating. The hotel rates an 9 out of 10, but if you are beach person, I would say a 3 out of 10 because there is usually a da [... read more]ngerous undertow, very grainy sand and numerous vendors trying to selling you everything under the sun, including their mother-in-law. Overall, great and I will be going back.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Nice Resort

This is a smaller resort without the massive pools or grounds of some of the bigger all inclusive resorts in the Mayan. It is located right at the marina in Cabo. Only minutes away from shopping, restaurants and bars. The resort is very nice. All of the food in the restaurants was excellent. Do not go here if you want a great beach experience. While you can swim in this area of Cabo, the beach area is small with no outdoor bars, etc. The average age of the crowd was around 35. Riu Santa Fe: Not the best experience

Visited in April 2017. The view from this hotel is beautiful, the hotel was generally clean and well kept. The food was just okay, decent variety and 4 a la cartes available. However, the noise at this hotel made the relaxation part of this vacation very difficult. Not only is there a new build going in right next door (building 7) which started at 7am and went til approx 8pm every day, but if we tried to go out on the balcony the workers were whistling and hollering at us. Also, other guests w [... read more]ere partying until 4:30am in the HALLWAYS. Blasting music and yelling and laughing so loud that we woke up multiple nights. There were no staff around to monitor or ask them to be quiet and not disturb other guests who were trying to sleep.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Nice quite resort

Nice, very clean, quite resort with very friendly staff. The weakest point of this resort is food quality with very limited selection. Entertainment and daily activities are poor also. Other than that we enjoyed our time there. We strongly recommend this resort for people for who food is not a priority.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Outstanding Family Resort

One of the best resort experiences possible at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. A short twenty minute drive from the airport gets you to this beautiful resort. Ocean views are incredible. The footprint is not too big and is manageable even with little children. Modern design and beautiful facilities. Pools are incredible and huge. There is a kiddie pool that's perfect for small ones, and an adult only pool area that is an oasis of peace with its own bar and food venue. Nice big beach but ocean is too dange [... read more]rous for swimming here. Food is outstanding at all the different venues. No reservations needed! Rooms are large and comfy. The Ziva suites get you proximity to the kiddie pool, two rooms, two baths and some have awesome views from the master bedroom. Service everywhere is outstanding and staff are incredibly professional. Absolutely recommend this one!

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Beautifully located Resort

Family of 3 LOVED our stay at Krystal Grand! Food was incredible and the staff were constantly watching time food was out on buffet and changing food for freshness. Delicious choices and many options for all. Staff were ALL very kind and helpful. We definately missed a 24 hour snack bar option. The resort closed down at 10pm I believe...perhaps 11 but I can't remember - and there was a lot of construction going on cutting a cement walkway apart but we were not overly bothered as we went off reso [... read more]rt for day trips often. I enjoyed the options in the gym. We booked ocean view which we had, tho the angle of our room did not allow for sun on our balcony which we missed. We are familiar with the area so transportation access was simple on main road in front of resort. Gorgeous flat beach to walk to various places or sit and watch the waves. We spotted whales and rays jumping. All aspects were great and we would definately recommend this as a nice quiet resort in a great location for both San Jose and Cabo San Lucas options. If the price stays reasonable for a smaller resort, we would go back next year but I would not pay too much as I am aware of the options at other resorts in the area.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great Last-Minute Getaway

Great value for the last-minute deal we got! Sunwing package was well organized, contact people easy to find, very smooth check in process. The main floor junior suite we were given was well equipped with liquor, minibar, recently updated bathroom, and comfortable bed. Food was fine, plenty of choices at the buffets, enjoyed the Indian and Japanese a la cart restraints too. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very relaxing

Awesome resort, excellent service very clean rooms. Food was excellent. Always activities to attend . New cafe bar I loved . I really have nothing negative to say. Will definitely be returning next year!
