Impressive Punta Cana: Our home away from home down south

We had returned from a 7 day vacation on a Thursday in January 2019 and then booked another 7 day vacation on the following Thursday as we could not wait to go back...plus the weather was freezing in Ottawa, Canada...lol. There is nothing negative I can say about this resort. The staff are all pleasant and hard working and were willing to help us with anything when needed. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Fantasia Bahia Principe is really a great resort for families.

I would absolutely recommend this resort to parents or grandparents travelling with younger children. The grounds are well kept and clean. Pool area and water park great. Walking distance to beach. Staff very friendly and helpful..

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Favourite resort so far

This resort is one of the most elegant properties in Punt cana. The surroundings are outstanding where ever you look. We stayed in deluxe tropical view and enjoyed the room immensely with its superb location to the beach , restaurants and lobby area. The grounds are immaculate and are in full view wherever you decide to walk. Restaurants are not reserved so its fair for everyone. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: 100% completely blown away by this resort

I was blown away by this resort. Beyond my expectations and checked off everything I had dreamed of that it would be. Amazing staff, clean facilities, every need was met. Beach was amazing. Would 100% recommend this place whether or not you have kids

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very nice place

All good about the hotel. clean and friendly staff. Rooms r tittle aged , the pools r nice and always something to do , we used the smaller pool it’s quiet and more family’s - what I like about it. U can take the golf car and go around for a ride is you get bored ;).

Impressive Punta Cana: Girls Trip

The Impressive Resort and Spa was a great, clean, safe and fun atmosphere for our ladies-extra-long-weekend (5 day) trip !!!! We did the parasailing 'tour' leaving directly from our resort/beach (no long bus rides) and the price was reasonable and the parasailing, itself, offered breathtaking 'birds eye' views that you can only get from the sky ! We had the same serves (CARMEN/LISA ) each day in the buffet- they remembered our drink orders and made sure to introduce themselves, which we thought was great :) A+ to them., they made us feel very comfortable and they spoke english which was also nice. We Easily rate this an 8-9 out of 10...we may have misunderstood the advert, but, there is no room service or food avail after 10:30 pm when the buffet closes. Housekeeping A+ all of our requests were met - extra pillows, towels, bar fridge supplies etc. Swim-up Bartenders Kelvin & Luis also A++++ great guys, friendly and FAST with the drink orders. The Michael Jackson show in the theater was also AWESOME !! Highly recommend going to this show if you can.....great way to spend the evening - nice night breeze to cool off, lots of fresh drinks and people up dancing/enjoying the show. A++ Overall, highly recommend this hotel - very reasonably priced - and the staff do really work very hard to keep the guests happy.... GREAT VACATION !!!!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing Resort!

I would highly recommend The Bahia Principe Aquamarine! From the moment we checked in the service was outstanding! The staff were ALL amazing. The food was great! The hotel was unbelievable clean and the ground were very well maintained. I will be visiting this property again.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing resort and beach !!

Excellent French fry truck at the beach, always lots of clean towels, entertainment was top notch, especially the Lion King !! and Pineapple made sure we had lots of activities to partake in: horseshoes, mini golf, volleyball, finger painting, etc. Food was plentiful at the buffets and al a cartes were good.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort

This was our 5th time here to this specific resort. We are always pleased with everything as there is something for everyone. We stay in the junior suites usually building 2 or 3 which we like as they are close to everything. The rooms are clean always fresh towels hot water and stocked fridge. The food at the buffet gets a bit repetative but we enjoyed the a la carts much better. This is definitely a go to resort for us!

Riu Republica: GREAT RESORT

Hotel was great food was great like that WiFi was everywhere on the resort big plus in my books found night shows wasn't a 5 star maybe 3 star in my books. Pools where well maintained and services was great. Was a bit disappoints on our room had a smell to it like sewage at times. And our sheets were damp had to air out the room every day

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Didn’t meet expectation

The hotel was just ok. Very difficult with communication.. barely speaks English.. Foods were just ok too.. services were not that great.. inb terms of alcohol highly recommends BYO... local alcohol was not good and their premium is not even premium... won’t recommend anyone..

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Better than expected!

We had 2 family suites for our ladies week vacation. Rooms were spacious. We had a couple of glitches with the air conditioner in one room which was fixed after calling maintenance. Inconsistency with bringing the same # of towels each day. We tipped housekeeping each day and found that the general cleaning did deteriorate near the end of our stay. The rooms need some attention. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Brazilian restaurant was a very nice experience. We did not go to the Dominican restaurant because we enjoyed the Dominican themed night at the buffet. The wine needs improvement. White,red and rose were not very good quality. Other drinks were nice, although quite strong(I’m sure many would enjoy this;) Wifi was very slow and unreliable in the lobby. Sunwing offered a shopping trip from the hotel to a small venue for jewellery, souvenirs and chocolate and cigars. This needs to be changed. It is really only a half hour of shopping. We had to wait over an hour to be allowed to return to the resort. A lot of very upset vacationers. Sitting around waiting for drivers that were just waiting inside the building not allowed/willing to bring us back to the resort. The shopping centre itself was alright,but this really detracted from what would have been a nice outing. The pools were all nice enough. Lots of loungers. The swim up pool was a bit rowdy for us but we switched to a different pool. The ladies bathroom by the quiet pool was very tight. The doors are very close to the toilets in each stall. Also, at the beginning of the week there was a soap dispenser but as the week progressed parts of it fell off. By the end of the week, it was completely off the wall and removed. There was no soap in this bathroom for the last 2 days of our trip. Needless to say, this is unacceptable. We used our own wipes and hand sanitizer. The grounds were lovely and the assortment of birds was amazing. The coffee shop had a really great assortment of specialty drinks and it was great to have ice cream and iced drinks in the afternoon.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Punta cana Sensatori Resort

This resort was very clean and the food and drinks were amazing. We had the honeymoon suite 3rd floor adult section it was beautiful however would have liked ocean view but saw in one of those rooms there was a family and it was supposed to be adults only. This resort should have a complete adult section including pool but it does not. There were way more kids than we thought and did not like that so much. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

We had a great time at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. Great resort for kids. Food was fantastic and there were many places to choose from. Would definitely recommend this resort. It is very large so lots of walking but there are also trains that go around the resort very regularily if you don’t like to walk! Loved our vacation.

Riu Republica: Amazing resort !

Beautiful area and beach with lots of big pools! Love the staff and food was good! Lots of options, great for all ages! Because the resort is so big and spaced out, you can pick the crowd you want to be around! “Starlin” at the buffet for a waiter was amazing and “Hanearo” at the Latin pool bar was so great!!! Would definitely recommend to go, and we would for sure return!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Superb grounds, very clean accommodations and good food!

We had a fantastic time at this large resort. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a safe and relaxing vacation. Lots to do, if you want to do anything or just simply relax. Loved the live outdoor music each night in the common square. The martinis were delicious and the service are gracious. We would love to go back!

Paradisus Punta Cana: Very nice resort

Beautiful grounds and pool setting with restaurants close to beach. clean and large rooms ,comfy pillows/ bed beach soft sand very clear water and warm of course excellent a la cart food, good service with a shout out to Willis at pool bar. however getting a coffee at lunch was not easy but a minor detail

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Great Vacation Spot for all age groups!

The grounds were spectacular and well maintained Room serviced, at least three times a day. Greeted upon and given a drink and cold towel after warm bus ride. I was disappointed, in our room size. Bathtub were outside, with no privacy to enjoy it. Also had to leave our clothes in our suitcase as there were no dresser drawers to put your clothes in. We were provided with extra hangers. So happy they were on staff when we were there. Thanks Wally. Great entertainment every night! Disappointed that not all restaurant were opened at every night, but happy to be able to use Onyx's. We were able to enjoy cuisines that I have never experienced before.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Relaxing week at the Paradisus

Returned from a very good week at the Paradisus with 3 other couples.We had no issues to stress about from the time we checked in, until the time we left as check in and out was quick and easy.The resort is quite large, so tram rides are sometimes a good option for getting around. There were no issues with getting chairs at either the beach or around the pool. The staff was all very friendly, especially Willis and the rest of the pool area bartenders and pool waiters. All a la carte restaurant s were very good, with the Mediterranean restaurant Ventos and the The Grille steakhouse being the best.The rooms are a good size and were cleaned and restocked on time every day. They are showing a little bit of age, but we did not spend much time in them any way.The ocean had clear water and soft, clean beaches with next to no seaweed on them. You could walk for miles in either direction.Our only minor disappointment was the buffet breakfast food. The bacon was very scarce and was very under cooked. The sausage was also slightly under cooked and was basically mini hot dogs.There were a lot of fresh fruits, cereals, pancakes and a egg cooking station in the buffet,so finding food was not a problem.All 4 couples said that they would return to the resort and recommend it to friends.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Wonderful time and wonderful resort

My family of 3 stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana from Jan 30 to Feb 7th. Our second time at an Iberostar and we expected good quality and service. And we got it. This hotel/resort is always so clean and well kept. The staff are always working so hard to keep everyone happy, satisfied and not wanting for anything. They are sooo amazing and always have a smile on their faces. The beach is amazing and clean. The pools are similarly clean and well kept. We always found a place to sit or la [... read more]y down our stuff. I also have to say that all the bathrooms were always clean, functioning and well stocked with paper products.... The gardens are so wonderfully manicured and beautiful. We used the gym facilities and can't say enough of them. Everything was just top notch and I think we all had a great vacation. A shout out to Yera, Bruno Mars and all the entertainment group. They were always 'on' and always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves....Finally, the food was good and there was always variety. The only negative I would say is that there are vendors on the beach that keep wanting to sell stuff. But if you say no thank you, or ignore them, then they move on.
