Grand Memories Santa Maria: Never disappoints

Simply love the 3 hotels that make up Memories Cayo Santa Maria. Best staff ever. Armando, Pablo, Delvis, Jorje, Yordanis, Wandy, Jenny, Ena, Laine, Ulysses, Leche & Rosa to name a few. They are the true reason these hotels people keep coming back (like myself) time and again!

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Always a pleasure visiting Las Morlas

We have visited this hotel 18 times. From 2009- present We were concerned if Covid would have impacted, but we didn’t notice much difference. There was enough food, clean grounds, staff always pleasant with repeat and new customers. The difference was during lunch and dinner they serve you food, which I can understand why. If your concerned about food I guarantee you will find something to eat. Breakfast - fresh made eggs, omelette, crepe’s, pancakes. Then you will find different items  [... read more]to pick from. Lunch and dinner- pork, chicken, turkey, fish- we even had lobster one evening which was a surprise. Beans and rice always available. You will always have a fresh salad bar as well. It’s about 30 mins bus ride to airport and close to downtown if you wanted to visit.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Clean Resort - Food Terrible

My party has visited this resort for the past 20plus years. People are fantastic, older facility but always clean. But unfortunately this visit was a huge disappointment. New management within the last 14 days has much to already made a huge dent in our visit to this resort. We previously visit the resort in late November under older management food was acceptable with variety. This time around was terrible with no where to turn. Buffet was with no doubt unacceptable. New director needs a quick shack or many return guess will look elsewhere. Sorry Club Amigo. Love the people but for a couple bucks more can seek out next door at Brias and visit our faithful friends at Club Amigo.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Loved this resort Overall!

A beautifully maintained facility, resort beaches great with water shoes , Pilar Beach is a ten minute cab drive away for one of top 5 beaches in the world! Absolutely outstanding and class act staff , from management, wait staff, cleaners and groundskeepers.! No big deal, it was expected. Highlight of the week was seeing out busboy tear up when given a gift at the end of his week for his service. Some wait staff are now FBook friends, as they are just outstanding humans, we had so much fun joking and learning about their lives in Cuba.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Fine, but we won’t be back

Another beautiful part of Cuba, but not at this hotel especially at the buffet. Food was fine, lines for grilled fish and meat, eggs during the breakfast. But cockroaches are everywhere, and if you see it in a bowl of tomatoes - it is too much.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: This resort was ok

It was ok but a bit run down in my view. The beach was incredibly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and worked with what they had. The food was so and so but you could always find something to eat. The drinks were never the same from one day to the next and every bartender had a different recipe...but that was ok I suppose. For the rooms, they were clean but dated. What was strange to me was that there was just one fitted sheet on the bed. No flat sheet over it and no blankets or bed cove [... read more]r... Hotel Rancho Luna: Great Staff and lovely resort

This hotel is a nice place to get away and enjoy some sun and quiet time.An older hotel but always striving for betterment everywhere and everyday.They worked so hard to fill their guests with the best hospitality.Food is Cuban cuisine and fresh daily.Sometimes limited to what is in seasonal produce.Very clean and always trying to make you feel comfortable.I had a piece of luggage left at airport.The staff were very friendly and helpful.I was so impressed and grateful for all their helping.I wil [... read more]l definitely go back to Hotel Rancho Luna 🙏🇨🇺♥️

Gran Muthu Imperial: Wonderful!

Wonderful adults only resort. Great food! (If you’re into spicy food you might wanna pack some hot sauce packets or favorite spices as they’re not always available) Clean modern resort with beautiful grounds. Great entertainment, wonderful lobby area for hanging out - delicious cappuccinos, Spanish coffees and espresso martinis. They do their very best with what they have and sometimes they would run out of ceasar mix or mint for mojitos… which was an opportunity to try something else in [... read more] my opinion. Only thing I didn’t like was that the pool area had loud music and activities playing most of the time during day making it very hard to chill and relax there - I had to avoid that area unfortunately . Great for partying though and the beach made for perfect escape from the noise. Also the disco is off resort and additional $$. Beach is a bit rocky so bring water shoes or find the one easy spot by the last umbrella to get into the ocean. The closest beach bathroom is quite a walk away so plan accordingly and it closes early which I found annoying. You would be wise to carry some tissues or tp in your pocket in case they are out of toilet paper -it happens sometimes in the common area washrooms …

Hotel Atlantico: Bad hotel

Unclean rooms and in bad conditions Poor food and beverages quality Poor entertainment Not honest staff No free wifi The beach was nice but they need to update their lounge chairs and umbrella very bad conditions 😒

Starfish Jibacoa: Lovely Relaxing Resort

The grounds were lovely with trees, green grass scattered between the bungalows. The bungalows are spaced out in a way that does not make you feel like you are beside neighbours. We found it to be very quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Just beware, if you need two 3/4 beds, it is helpful to request this when you make your reservation. It seems most rooms have one queen bed. We had lots of hot water and a working little fridge in the room. The dining area is clean and sp [... read more]acious., There were lots of choices on the buffet. If you can't find something you like, you are extremely fussy. There was lots of fruit, vegetable choices, rice, meat choices, fresh fish grilled, eggs for breakfast and of course, lots of fresh bread. The lobby bar makes the best spanish coffee ever!! The paddle boats were available and fun to take out. All in all, the staff are very friendly and helpful in every part of the resort. I think the only place we were cuban music was at the pool. They had TV videos on in the lobby bar area, but they were modern videos. It would have been nice to have authentic cuban music playing in the lobby bar area. Lots of areas to hike outside of the resort. All in all, we had a great week.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Incredible Resort

This resort is huge. A 1.1 km walk from lobby to the other end. First the negatives: the buffet was only so-so, a pipe broke and we were out of water for a day, occasionally ran out of beer at a certain bar (just went to another bar), music at the pool a little loud at times. 1.5 hour bus ride from the airport. Small inconveniences. On the plus side, the lobby was large and impressive. The pool was beautiful. Didn't stay in the Adult Zone this time, but their pool and separate snack bar w [... read more]ould be great. The Fiesta Section looked over-the-top. French and Italian restaurants were delicious. Most amazing beach you'll find as the resort is on a peninsula and the water is completely still in the bay. We'd go back in a heart beat.

Melia Las Americas: Most Amazing Lobby and Beach!

This lobby is one of the most impressive I have experienced staying at an all inclusive Its big and clean and had many options for places to sit and relax or take a nap! I absolutely loved it! The beach was fantastic and it's everything Varadero beaches promised! Most days, the water was calm and blue and easy to swim. The resort is never short on chairs or shaded areas at the beach The staff was also pretty good, including Luis, Yania and Tamara!

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Simple but lovely

Hotel Tuxpan: Miracle place in winter time !

Hotel Tuxpan is number one about beach in Varadero. Clear blue green water of Atlantic Ocean and white sand of the beach . Beautiful connection! Hotel by itself is ok. Restaurants are good. Service is good and very friendly. Nice entertainment.

Hotel Villa Cuba: Very disappointed

Sad to say we did not enjoy our trip. The actual resort was nice and people were great but we had many things stolen from our room. We will not be going back or recommend this resort to anyone in the future.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Beautiful resort

My husband and me took my niece here and we absolutely loved it! Very quiet, no excursions, but the staff were lovely and we enjoyed the food because our expectations were low. The fish, smoked salmon and omelettes were amazing.the resort is so new ( dec 2022) so the rooms are beautiful. I’d highly recommend.

Hotel Tuxpan: Amazing resort!

The resort is located on the beautiful beach. The staff are friendly and always provide great services. The food is great with a lot choices. The hotel room is clean. The excursion to Havana is well organized. The ground transportation from and to the airport is easy to be found and provides convenience.

Muthu Playa Varadero: Great for the price

The staff made the stay at this resort excellent. Xavier was a gem , the resort needs some TLC which they started. doing while we were there. The food was ok would never go hungry. The beach was clean and good for kids and people who dont like deep water. The rooms were clean and in good condition the only downside was shortage of towels

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Review

Grand Aston Cayo Los Brujas is a beautiful resort, filled with lots of fun activities and entertainment. We enjoyed the available water activities the resort offers. Services at the bars and restaurants are great, however there were a lot of restaurants that changed locations and we found out last minute. We did not have a good experience at the Cuban Restaraunt. Service was not so great as we waited for our table for a long time and was not greeted in a friendly manner. The food took a long tim [... read more]e as well but the mains was delicious. On one of the days, water was not available throughout the resort except the lobby. If you need wifi in your rooms, expect little to no signal at all.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Good value and great staff

I found the hotel to be nice and clean. It looked as so It had been redone lately, but the staff were just great,I don't think I have incountered better in my many travels. The food was good,but just a few things were missing like any kind of cereal and there wasn't a French fry to be found. All day pizza was good. Over all I would say it was good value for the money. The only downside was the 2 hour ride from the airport.
