Emotions by Hodelpa Juan Dolio: Great resort

Considering our present pandemic state, everything was great, quite enjoyable. Would definitely love to do it again, under better global circumstances, to see the real fullness of the resort. Would have loved to take a trip off the property itself and see the locals, maybe visit some of the restaurants and sites. Don't get me wrong there was enjoyment on the resort itself but the variety and the options would have made things that much better. Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: A very pleasant and safe vacation!

Very nice and spacious resort. A solid 4 -star resort! Well organized with golf cart transportation frequent and efficient to get around the whole resort. We were very pleased with the implementation of the Covid sanitary measures at the Melia Caribe in Punta Cana. All staff wear masks at all times inside and outdoors. Guests must wear masks indoors ( not when seated at tables) and plastic gloves are mandatory at all buffets. Utensils are pre-packaged in individual paper bags. Clearly all is w [... read more]iped and sanitized between guests. The Covid test is readily available via a private clinic right on location and everyone reminds you to pre-book your test. Very top of mind! Ecologically, the resort has moved to paper cups and wood spoon, very nice to see. They also encourage limiting towel changes of you wish. Overall, a good value. The food was only good. Plentiful and many restaurants, but the quality was just regular.

Riu Republica: Beautifully kept grounds and pristine beachfront.

Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff worked endlessly to keep it in top shape. Very friendly staff. Great, wide variety of food. The water slides were fun too. Will definitely look for the Riu brand in the future again.

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Outstanding Experience

This modern and well kept resort was just what we needed. They take all necessary precautions and made return PCR testing for Canada a breeze. We thought the food and experience were excellent. The facilities are world class. Having only a la carte for dinner (no buffet) was so wonderful and made sure we never got sick of eating in one place. Entertainment and housekeeping staff were absolutely delightful. Maria the maitre d at like every restaurant is the consummate hospitality leader.

Riu Republica: Amazing

I stayed from OCTOBER 14/21. Let me start off with the staff. I am not sure if your boss/ower tells you this often but you guys are hard worker's . I sat and observed your daily routine and I must say you guys are so willing and helpful. Your hard work didn't go unnoticed in my eyes as a tourist. Secondly to ALL YOU SNOBBY ASS HOLES are are vacationing in these people's country, stop being jerks when calling the waiters over for a drink . They are humans just like you. Yes you pay your mo [... read more]ney to have a good time but where is ur humanity? There's countless times I wanted to reach over to people's table and give them a piece of my mind. These people are working there to ear a living not to be treated like your slave and amusement. There's no reason to be rude when wanting or waiting for a drink/water. Don't snap ur fingers when calling someone over. It highly rude. The wifi - I must the the wifi was up to my standards. Definitely a big plus consider I had school work to do on vacation and had a full bar of wifi. Your rage is pretty good. Food - the steakhouse is definitely a treat. We went twice and it didn't disappoint me. The mangos at the night buffet is amazing. The cleaning stuff who cleaned out room. Thank you. You guys did an amazing job.... only downfall is we had to look for towels a few times. It happens to the best of us on our jobs. The lobby is good spot to hang out in the evening just to relax with the nice breeze blowing. The night shows was really good. Definitely some talents The WALK - by the time I eat and walked to the room I was tried and hungry again. Lol. If you sent further away from the beach..... the left side of checking ....be prepared to walk ALOT. Thankfully we were in the center. The polls - the polls closer to the beach is where all the loose goose hang out. It was definitely a fun time hanging there. We made so many new friends. The water slide was definitely a FUN experience for my friends and I. I have a fear of highs but it was definitely worth it. I didn't wanna stop. In all this resort is definitely a fun spot. This was my first time at an adults only resort and it was well worth it. You will have alot of fun during the day. Not so much in the night. Apparently there's no night beach party due to COVID. I would recommend it to others. Staff kept up the Good job of making a pleasurable stay for people like myself. You guys did you best to make people like me feel like I got my money's worth

Zel Punta Cana - All Suites: NOT the reserve at Paradisus

We were extremely disappointed arriving to the “reserve”, only to learn that it is under construction and our room was a sorry equivalent. We reached out to our travel consultant, Wendy Harrington to change our arrangements only to be ignored. We ended up paying extra to stay at the Gran Cana, ended up having a good time, just a sour taste from the whole thing.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: A lovely tropical resort

Grounds are extremely tropical, well cared for, staff friendly and everything is kept clean English language is not as good as some other resorts but that is also up to us to try Spanish. I felt comfortable with my stay

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Fantastic resort and staff

A Huge thank you to Susan Snider for helping us book our trip to Royalton Bavaro in Punta Cana. This was our first trip to DR as we usually go to Cuba. This Resort was so beautiful. We felt like royalty the entire trip and absolutely loved everything about it. We booked the swim up rooms and loved them. The staff were excellent and we couldn’t have imagined a better trip. Ocean El Faro: Amazing resorts

What great vacation I had at Ocean El Faro Punta Cana one of the best 👌!!!Resort is new and very clean !!!!Staff did very great job making sure we have great time!!!!Food is very good There is 6 restaurant to go and buffet and coffe place omg and much more !!!!!!4 big pools and lazy river swings and beach with bar on it omg I can go on and on !!!!! There is SPA we went fir facial and it was the best one ever!!!! MY BEST VOCATION EVER LOVE OCEAN EL FARO ❤

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Not what I expected

Service was garbage and rude. Breakfast lunch and dinner was the same everyday. We went to the a la carte ended up going back to the buffet again. The room smelled like mildew. First time staying at the Bahia. Melia hotels ans serenis, RIU and the royalton grand memories so much better.

Ocean El Faro: Amazing resort

Everything is so beautiful and so nice. Very Very clean resort, and very friendly people. I can't wait to go back. Room is nice,large clean. Food is amazing, people is so friendly and helpful. I'm talking to my all friends about this resort how nice is.

Be Live Collection Punta Cana Adults Only: Last trip to the Dominican Republic

This was my 2 time to the Dominican Republic.. I will never return! . Everything I paid for was not working. Or I had to pay! I had the master swim out suit . My pool lights burnt. Lies about it the whole time. American money!!! Everything is way too much money!! Rude. Disrespectful. Never again.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Wonderful Vaccation

The hotel was very clean and followed covid protocols. Masks were worn while entering restaurants and could be removed while seated. Temperatures taken when entering restaurants as well. Buffets we’re all behind glass and food was served to guests by a gloved and masked staff member. The staff was also working a 2 week rotation where they stayed on location to lesson exposure. The resort was only 30 percent capacity so there was no lineups and service was amazing. Clean masks were provided [... read more] daily in our room. Hand sanitizer was readily available all over the resort. Table were set 2 metres apart even in outdoor settings. Covid testing (pCR) available at the resort for $90US many people we met at the airport had to go to offsite clinics and paid $250 per person. Overall we felt very safe and commend the staff and management at Barcelo Bavero beach and our Agent from trip central for making sure we were prepared before our vacation to download the ArriveCAN app and also the QR code application to enter DR. The only suggestion we would have would be a reminder to clients to download and complete another application for QR code to leave DR to save time at the airport upon return. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Majestic Elegance

Majestic it was such a great experience the rooms were fantastic the cleaning people were wonderful we had a waitress Judit and she was absolutely amazing loved her love her love her. We had a butler and his name was Dario I don’t think I have enough words to explain how wonderful of a person he was he made our experience the best it could be I would definitely come back because of your staff. It really was a great experience

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very good resort

We spent our vacation at Luxury Bahia Principal Esmiralda in October 2021, very good positive impression, safe environment and very helpful staff, any questions they immediately react. We asked to print some documents and find emails with test results, very appreciate assistance. Very important for us that hotel doing tests on site, and results in 24 hours after.. Also food is good,,a lot of sea food, fruits vegetables and meat. Beach very clean and safe, every day they disinfect all equipments. [... read more] Room service very good. A lot of entertainment during day and night, we had chance to see beautiful shows at resorts around, especially lights show.

Ocean El Faro: Beautiful Resort

We recently returned from a fabulous week at Ocean El Faro. I travelled with five family members. Check in was simple. The lobby is massive with amazing decorating. The resort is gorgeous. The grounds are well maintained. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The pools are kept at a very comfortable temperature and the resort is very family friendly. All staff are polite and friendly. The resort follows Covid guidelines. Any inside activity requires guests to wear masks. Hand hy [... read more]giene is required prior to going into restaurant facilities. All staff wear masks. The buffet requires patrons to wash their hands and don a glove. The facility to have the required Covid PCR test is located at the hotel for convenience. I was hesitant to travel but after going to Ocean El Faro I would feel comfortable to travel there again.

Ocean El Faro: Great entertainment staff, weak hotel

Entertainment staff was great, especially Wilson, Wonder, Ana, and Laura, Francis at the sports bar was amazing, As far as the rest goes, the resort was really nice and well kept. But the staff was really rude and cranky, and the genders that are around Wednesday and Saturday and very pushy and annoying, food was great everywhere, hotel is great but because of the majority of the staff I will not visit again

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Unsatisfied customer

It was our third time at this hotel and service went down drastically comparing to the previous trips. Although service wasn’t bad everywhere. Room cleaning was excellent. Lobby and piano bars, coffee shop service was perfect. Special thank you to the beach bar 4 team for their service, especially Fernando and Alejandro. They were the best! But at the rest of the places, you have to ask for the service since no one sees you (literally). Same with the buffet. You have to ask for the water, drink, spoon, etc. Also, food in the buffet was worse than last time. Plus, on top we got burned ribs in the steak house.

Riu Republica: Great Resort!

The grounds are beautiful, the pools are fantastic, the beach is incredible. Food was great, there is something for everyone. Sit in Jorge’s or Juana’ section in the buffet. These people make you feel like family. Also Wellington, one of the pool servers was so attentive to our group and was constantly bringing us drinks in the pool. Great service. The only complaint I have was there was never any change at the front desk to break big bills for tipping. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great Family vacation
