Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our state at the Rui Palace, Los Cabos. The resort was spotless. Our room was spacious and the room amenities were generous. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the restaurants on site. Lots of selection and very tasteful. The only complaint and this would be very minor was the evening entertainment. We went most evenings to whatever entertainment that was being provided but most evening we left early. However due to the fun we had during the day [... read more] on the resort we generally tired by 11 or so. That is the reason the entertainment was not. A big deal to us. This was our 4th stay at a Rui Resort and we recommend them to family and friends alike!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Palace Los Cabos May 2014

I would never travel with those flight times again though. Arriving so late, starved, just made the buffet before it closed, right off the bus. Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great resort!!

This was my fourth time staying at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril. The resort is fabulous!! Beach is amazing. No problem finding loungers in the morning. The food at the resort is great with lots of variety. Try the Jerk Chicken.... The staff at this resort are very helpful and friendly, always greeting you with a smile. The entertainment team is awesome and they work hard to make sure you have a good time. I would recommend this hotel to others and I personally will be going back.

Grand Memories Varadero: Great resort

The rooms were top notch, as were the grounds. Being in the "Adults" section was a plus! The "main" pool was far too noisy. The music carried to both other pools. I was totally unimpressed with the beach. Far too many broken shells. Did not care to walk in bare feet! The food is typical for Cuba. Lukewarm and not to flavorful. But plenty of it. Getting used to "red" meat in the burgers was a task. I was told they put red color in them, and even if it is cooked to death, they are still red. Never [... read more] met a unfriendly staff member! Always willing to help, and try to understand English.

Riu Palace Aruba: RIU Aruba

RIU Aruba features: a gorgeous beach with white sand and turquoise water. Delicious meals with a lot of variety. Clean rooms and public areas. Huge pool with lots of chairs and shade. The resort lacks nightly entertainment.

Grand Memories Varadero: Nice resort

We stayed at this resort in March 2014, upon arriving we were enjoying the quiet, great beaches, good food, and after 2 days, all he'll broke lose. Over 400 students from Notre Dame University arrived. We continued to stay for another couple days hoping the crowd would settle in. Well it got worse, they took over the swim up pool area, were urinating everywhere, getting sick in the bushes, and showing rude behaviour. Thankfully we got moved to another hotel on the Wednesday. I really like the ho [... read more]tel, however was disappointed management had let that many students register and they weren't enforcing any kind of control over the crowd.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Perfect (except for the wafts of raw sewage)!

The food, service, staff, beach, excursions and facility were all perfect. If it weren't for the frequent wafts of raw sewage on the north end of the building and grounds it would have been flawless! The hotel has ample lounge chairs and beach space. No need to put towels on lounge chairs on the beach at sunrise. We were told the hotel booked to 95% of capacity. It felt like 50%.m

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: The most fabulous hotel i have ever stayed in.

I have told every body i know to visit. My husband and i have never travelled ever and this was our first vacation and by the third night he asked if I had booked our next vacation. This is our very belated honeymoon (been married 32 years) and we have decieded that if this is the only place we ever visit we did awesome, the staff was so friendly and helpful and eager to please. We hope to return very soon.

Riu Emerald Bay: Perfect escape from Winter!!

With the winter of 2014 being one of the longest coldest most difficult winters in the entire North East in half a century we needed the perfect escape! The Rui Hotel at Emerald Bay Jamaica turned out to be just that! 4 of us from work went from Toronto in March! First of all the weather is perfect and very consistent about 32 in day and sunny and still warm all night about 25. The wrap around pool goes all away around the hotel and is great to lounge and swim in but the Ocean water is right there also and we swam in it daily. The beach is nice, with huts, umbrellas and bars and washrooms close by! The food is amazing and service excellent! There is lots of shuttle buses for off resort activities and taxis for those more personal journeys like into Dunns Falls, or Margeritaville. Room service was good and Trip Central made it all easy with the best price and no hidden fees. It is the only online site I trust in booking my much needed getaways. Great hotel, beach, pool, food ,very clean, good entertainment/activities and service....very scenic....definitively a trip to remember!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Perfect Holiday

Needed a relaxing holiday and that is what we got. The food was fantastic. The service was great. The infinity pool looking over the ocean was a great place to watch the whales and sip a cold drink. The loungers in the pool is also a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sun. Can't go wrong with selecting this Hotel for a great vacation.

Riu Ocho Rios: Unbelievable vacation in paradise

We stayed here in October 2013, booking was so easy and the trip there was wonderful. We stayed in an ocean view suite. The food was amazing, the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and important. We spent most of our time at the private pool that overlooked the ocean it was so relaxing. We would defiantly come back. Our first time in Jamaica was everything we hoped it would be and Riu Ochos Rios was perfect!!

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Fifth Visit

I was very pleasantly surprised at the many upgrades that had occurred since my last vacation at the Riu Bachata. New curtains, bed spreads and especially the quality of the food. We ate all of our meals at the buffet. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the night they had the prime rib roast... so tender. The manager was always walking around visiting with all of the hotel guests, asking if everything was ok, were we enjoying our vacation, did we have any complaints. Riu Guanacaste: Great place; excellent value for your money

While Guanacaste does not have the reputation of Sandals Resorts but in many ways comes pretty close in terms of service, food quality and general atmosphere of the resort. The beach is very pleasant with enough chairs and shade if needed. The pool is amazing. Evening entertainment is varied and family friendly. Quests can also participate and even my three year old grandson had a great time. The cost of the trips are reasonable and well organized. Riu Santa Fe: Fantastic resort. It had everything

This was a fantastic resort. Every amenity you could want. The staff was very friendly, the buffet food was as good as you can get and the beaches were better than expected. Even the beach vendors were friendly. I will definitely be back.. Very good value!

Riu Bambu: Great Resort

Overall the resort was fantastic. Hotel entertainment team was amazing. There were multiple activities going on at once and they did a great job trying to include everyone. The location and beach was great! The beach was huge, you could always find a spot no matter what time you went down to the water. Food was good with lots of selection. Only down fall were the rooms. However it didn't bother me too much as I was never in it. Only used it to sleep. With the hotel and te people I met I had a great vacation at Bambu and I would recommended to others who are thinking of booking here.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Great Resort for a great price!

The grounds were well kept, rooms were clean, the food was good by Cuban resort standards (I've been to a few other places and as anyone who's been to Cuba knows, you're not going there for the food). Above all that, the staff was phenomenal, most credit goes to the Entertainment staff!! Amazing group of people who engage the guests without being pushy and there's always something going on whether it's something laid back like poolside bingo or something loud and fun like a dance contest or pool [... read more] volley ball challenge.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Friendly, beautiful resort! Great staff!

We went for 3 nights in Feburary at RIU Paradise Island, and it was perfect. The food was mind-blowing. The beach gorgeous. Location was so safe and easy to navigate from. I would love to go again and probably will in the future. The staff was wonderful. The stingrays swimming up and down the beach out front out last day was an awesome surprise too!

Riu Palace Aruba: I Think I Went To Heaven.

The RIU Palace Aruba Is One Of The Most Beautiful Resort We Have Ever Stayed At. Aruba Is One Of The Safest Islands To Visit. And Has The Cleanest Water In The World.We brought Our 8 Month Old Grandson With Us And Found The Walkways At The Back Of Resorts Were Perfect For Stroller walks.In Front Of The Resort Is All Kinds Of Restaurants And Shops.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Very relaxing resort

Very we'll kept resort with a great location. Service was second to none. Little older but would recommend it to any one wanting a laid back vacation. Beach is the best I have seen. Pools are a little small and bathrooms are a walk from beach. Food is excellent

Sol Turquesa Beach: Disappointing

We went to Playa Turquesa three years ago and absolutely loved it. This time was a huge disappointment. Almost everything about the resort had gone downhill. The food was really terrible (to the point of half frozen french fries). The grounds are no longer gardened, and no upkeep to any painting. The staff was still very friendly and helpful, but there are significantly fewer staff so the their were long wait times for everything.
