Jewel Paradise Cove: excellent honeymoon

My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon at this amazing resort. Loved every minute from the off resort tours(blue hole is a must) to the water activities and everything in between. They made our day by Charmaine at tours bending over backwards to get us on tours that were already booked, Collin at front desk making sure we were always looked after with towels, water and getting us a great cab driver ( thanks Cecil). Yes people there is a little grass in the swimming areas but it brings fish etc to see in close if you don't want to go on the snorkeling trip. We even saw a baby stingray at the main beach. I could go on forever but you really need to experience this resort yourself. Thank you J.P.C. we will be back.

Moon Palace Jamaica: Great resort for families, couples and weddings!

This was my third visit to this hotel and my favourite. The hotel is clean, food is excellent and I really like the amenities. I'm never bored when I'm there because there are a lot of activities available for everyone. The staff are friendly and seems to like their jobs. However, on this last trip, my husband and I had our wedding vows renewed there and we were disappointed with the service we received from one of the wedding co-ordinators and disappointed with the customer service manager. To [... read more] help solve the problems that we were having with reservations pertaining to our guests, and our wedding cake not being ordered, we requested to see the manager. Instead of a manager, we were sent to see a "team leader" whom was very rude and didn't really seem to care about what we were going through on our wedding day. However, with lots of help and excellent service from Tanya, the staff at Tripcentral we solved the reservation issue. As for the wedding planners, they did everything that they could to make our day a very special day. They came through for us, made up for their mistakes and we got our dream wedding. The remainder of our trip went exceptionally well. This hotel is also a great place for weddings because of the beach view and the beautiful gardens. Overall, the front line staff is what makes this hotel! My husband and I were pleased with how hard they work to make everyone happy. As for the managers and team leaders in the reservation and wedding department, I was very disappointed. Needless to say, we will be returning when they re-open under the new name to see if it will still be our favourite hotel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic!

Hotel was great! People were great! Food was great- Lots of variety! Beach was warm, the pool was warm,the sun was warm! Our room was great! View of the beach from balcony. Grounds were spotless. Lots of nightly entertainment.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Average Resort

Rooms were average, bathrooms were not the greatest. Did not have running water one day, showers leaked....definately needed some renovations. Hallway carpets smelled horrible. When I spoke to front desk about moving to the newer section, she told me that children were not allowed in the new section, so that was the only location available to my family. Pool entertainers were great and food was great. Overall, an average resort.

Riu Negril: The Resort is Excellent

The welcome reception is well organized. The beach entertainment is amazing with 'nice' reggae music. The dinning areas were excellent and the taste of food is "top notch". However, the nightly entertainment needs some improvement. The ground were well kept and the workers were friendly with Jamaican "ire" attitude.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: love it

hotel was always clean and fresh your room was done so fresh everyday room service amazing anytime at night. we would recommend this hotel to everyone the grounds so pretty beach love it. the entertainment Wow best vacation we were just wondering if the suite was so good then the grand must be amazing

The service,the staff,the food,the room,the place was superb!the beach was relaxing and ocean for swimming beautiful and calm,beautiful land scraping and property, intertaiment was exciting especially on the beach.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Nice resort

We stayed here in late September through beginning of October and really enjoyed it. The food was good but not excellent. Did the three a la carte which were also good, but the strak house was best. The white sandy beach was great as was the pool and all entertainment.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Hidden Jem

We stayed at the Grand Lido from Sept. 24-Oct. 1. Travelling with my boyfriend and another couple. We had an incredible time. My first impression of the resort was that yes, it is a little dated, but everything was always clean. The staff and service more than made up for this. Checkin was smooth and we were taken to our beach front room. Room was spacious and clean.The view .....amazing! We were just steps from the gorgeous beach. The water was crystal clear, nice white sand... What more could  [... read more]you ask for . The food at the resort was great. Make sure to check out Derek's jerk lamb for lunch. The buffet was open for lunch, or you could also go to the jerk hut. There you could get anything from pasta to sandwiches, jerk chicken or pork, or a burger. Great spot for lunch or dinner if you didn't want the buffet. At dinner you had a choice of 3 restaurants( italian, Mediterranean, Japanese ) they were all very good. The buffet was only open for dinner on a few special nights. We had an excellent time, and will be returning. Thanks to all the staff. You all went above and beyond. Sandals Jamaica South Coast: Absolutely wonderful!

This was our first trip to a Sandals resort and it definitely did not disappoint. The staff was amazing, couldn't ask for friendlier, more accommodating people. The food was unbelievable, so delicious, better than anywhere we travel. The one small drawback was the beach, it was not good for swimming, rocks and seaweed, etc. However, everything else made up for it. Fire pits and Cafe that was open long hours were a real hit with us. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: we'll definitely go back to Gran Bahia Principe

we had a great stay, all was wonderful- the only thing I can comment on is the travel distance from airport to the resort- its quite long. water was very clear, hotel and grounds very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Food and service was excellent.

Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: Fantastic in every way!

This resort was awesome...some of the most amazing food (Jade Samurai was phenomenal and I became seriously addicted to the Jerk Chicken Wraps at the grill), beautiful, clean grounds, the friendliest staff. It is very apparent that the staff at Jewel Dunn's take pride in their job and make it a priority to excel in making guests feel comfortable and happy. Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Loved the resort

We came back from a great vacation on October 1. We have been to Jamaica 6 times and this was our second trip to the Grand Lido. The first time was many years ago when it was the original Grand Lido so we didn't know what to expect. We were not disappointed. All of the staff at the resort were great and went out of their way to make it a great experience. Another couple joined us that had never been to Jamaica before. The best we have had. Cabanas on the beach would be our only recommendation for changes.

Riu Ocho Rios: RIU Ocho Rios is amazing!!!!!!

I recently stayed at the RIU Ocho Rios and it was amazing! The rooms were very clean and the entire resort was very spacious. The staff were always very pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious especially in the main buffet. There was a lot of variety every night. The beach area was beautiful and clean. This resort was a lot of fun and would highly recommned it to anyone just looking to get away for relaxation time!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Nice Rresort

Hotel room was small but functional , pool and beach was great ,But the service on some area of the resort is questionable.All in all it was a good vacation and good resort PS don't purchase the lobster diner locals are claiming to be all you can eat , because its a big rip off !

Couples Tower Isle: Great Resort

We spent 5 days at the CTI and loved every minute of it! The hotel it self Is a little dated but why it lacks in decor it makes up for in quality and service. Rooms where extremely clean and you could have anything delivered to your room. Staff where the best I have ever encountered at s resort and food was spectacular! Not to mention all the excursions included with your stay!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Ok resort. Great food

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.)The rooms were old and had a moldy smell and a/c wasn't the greatest. Food and staff were great. A special thank you to David from the Italian restaurant.

Couples Sans Souci: Great Improvements to a wunderfull Resort

We have stayed here 6 times now and will keep returning. Major improvements are been made to the grounds, pools and bars with plans to upgrade some rooms next year. We never complained about anything here but this investment will only make it even better. The staff and management are the best we have ever seen and make us feel like family. I do not understand any negative comments about Sans Souci, I guess some people can never be pleased.

Sandals Jamaica Caribbean Cay: Amazing Amazing Resort

I spent 7 days at Sandals Royal Caribbean and it wasn't enough time to explore the other Sandal resorts in Mo Bay, and take part in all the water activities they have included. I would advise you to take 10 days if possible. The beach is small but the water is clear, and never over crowded. The resort has three different beaches all private and beautiful. The food is amazing. There is no limit to attend any of the restaurants. I enjoyed the service at the restaurants. All the staff are friendly and they really try to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The entertainment staff are amazing. They encourage the guest to part take in daily activities. There is also a points system, so for every activity you do you earn points. At the end of your stay you get a gift depending on your points. I thought that was a nice bonus. The games and activities are so much fun. The staff makes it fun and enjoyable. The common areas are well maintained and are always clean and tidy. As for the rooms, the room that we booked wasn't as nice as we thought but we weren't spending much time in our room so it didn't bother us. If the room means a lot to you then spend the extra money and get a better room. I have nothing bad to say about this resort, I'm planning my next stay. I spoke to other guest and they said this resort was better than all other Sandals in Mo Bay and Sandals Negril. There were many returning guest. I highly recommend Sandals, it's worth every penny!!!

The hotel was beautiful, clean, well kept, the service was excellent, the grounds immaculate, pools awesome, we were well taken care of and speedy for food in all areas, the entertainment was very good and most of all ..... the people were the best, very friendly, kind, caring happy and do anything they can to make your stay the best and they did that for us. We will definatley be back.
